1  Economy / Economics / Bitcoin has no practical use and could be damaging to the economy! on: March 13, 2019, 12:53:39 AM
Even with the efforts done by the inventor Satoshi Nakamoto and the people who supported bitcoin around the world, still these guy from EY says there was no practical use for it and the deflationary model can only give damage to the global economy. On my thinking this isn't the case if this guy could only see how good the invention was. For me he was just talking non sense. Something that should not be entertained. Imagine how many lives have been saved by bitcoin in my locality. One was able to pay hospitalization, the other have been able to buy for him a house and lot, others have been able to buy a car to get to his job early, and so many other things.. See how people even made bitcoin atms and for just a simple reasoning bitcoin becomes useless and damaging? I think this guy has to wake up...

2  Economy / Economics / Re: Sick and tired of the cryptocurrency bullshit!!! on: October 16, 2018, 01:03:42 AM
It was simple, there was not much usage and it would take a lot of time before the recovery can be complete. People like you had so much to say about disappointments over cryptocurrency but to no avail because there was nothing really we can do without having to change the way we do business with this coins. We need real usage and not just holders because anytime they could just sell what they keep.
3  Other / Meta / Re: How NEWBIES are treated on: September 18, 2018, 05:16:03 PM
I am the third alt of Jet Cash, and all of us managed to get a few merits within the first 20 posts. I am the only alt that admitted my parentage at the time of birth.

In the Bitcoin Talk forum, it isn't who you know, or what your rank is that earns the merits, it's what you say, and how you behave. That is how it is, and how it should be. However, if you know and associate with cheats, then you can obtain merits that are contrary to the forum policy. The problem with those merits is that they are often noticed, and if so, then they will affect your reputation, and possibly your earning potential.

Sir I think you are one of the most talented forum member here. considering that you have a newbie account with 8 merit is really something and it is an accomplishment. I have been participating since April for a signature campaign. And the campaign took about 6 months to finish if it will not be extended. It is my first signature campaign and I was so sad because my account was dropped to a newbie with the new system. I a bit sad and unhappy because I might not receive a thing from it even with all the hardwork I put in it.  Yet I understand why the new system is important for the entire forum.  And so Instead of going against or murmuring around, I consider everything as a positive change. Now I wanted to learn more techniques from you and on what really is to be done to get merits. I would really appreciate it if you can help me out. This is my first bounty and it is one the longest bounty as well that I have seen. These september 30 will be the end of the campaign and I hope I can still finished it as a junior member. Thank you in advance sir.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Why most bitcoin users from good economies countries? on: September 16, 2018, 03:39:19 PM
The bitcoin ATM could really make us conclude that these countries are the one's who had so much love for bitcoin. They find it useful as nobody would want to use bitcoin ATM for no reason at all. These could only mean that as you might have been thinking are the countries with most users. It is possible really but somehow this is not the only factor we are going to consider. Internet connectivity is one, Initiators and entrepreneurs are also a big factor that could influence usage of bitcoin and install these ATMS. There are so many factors to look at yet these are the things that could have made it popular.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Can Be More Efficient Than Bank Transactions on: September 16, 2018, 02:02:47 PM
Somehow I see bitcoin as a useful currency to be used in banking transactions or processes. Though there are risks for its valuation or pricing but it really can be so helpful. The fear about bitcoin being used for illegal activities is really a common thing with actual money. So if we will be asking how different is bitcoin to the physical money in terms of usage for illegal activities? I think not at all. I think it is not even safe for them who use it for illegal activities because they could be traced through exchanges.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will be the new king on: September 16, 2018, 11:43:45 AM
Ethereum is experiencing problem as well as other cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is also affected just the same. But considering how bitcoin and ethereum have manage this unfavorable conditions, I think the people still choose to stay on this two cryprocurrency. The next king for now is not yet to be found and the maturity may have still been with bitcoin. People are used to it and it is clearly observable during these bad times for cryptocurrency.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do with the current market? on: September 16, 2018, 09:55:57 AM
Get to the bottom and hold coins. This action would be most appropriate. The only problem is how do we know it is the bottom. Maybe I think experience will be most crucial at this point in time. It is really hard but I think most of the veteran investors know this.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: To be or not to be. What to invest in? on: September 15, 2018, 11:25:33 PM
In business I don't really consider each option as the best but good. In everything that you do, you should consider that there is always risk behind it. There is always a time when others might have gained and you did not. It is not about just luck but it is how random things are happening on any of these options. It's business and you need the skill to make things always if possible, favorable on your side. So better study on any of the following and have the mastery over it to avoid loses in the future.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: How to cope up with the falling prices? on: September 15, 2018, 02:39:00 PM
I am a newbie into cryptocurrency investments and I have tried how emotions would really push you to do things just to save your investments. And I was wrong for most of the time because I have let strong emotions to just take over for most of the time and I did not have any stop loss. For me it was wrong to just keep holding on to your coins because during times when market is bearish we will never really know if prices could go up or maybe could go  down very low. And that is what happen to me when I lost around 60 percent of the money when prices keep getting down. It was a lesson, now I did learn something, keep holding but be wise to set stop loss level.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people want ETH to over come BTC on: September 14, 2018, 04:33:37 PM
Probably they have their own stories to tell. They might have reasons and one could be what you think it is. Maybe they have experiences that made them think that ethereum was better than bitcoin because of lower transaction fees or faster transaction process. But for me they are both good in their own way and deserves both success at the top of all cryptocurrencies.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DONT INVEST IN BTC IF YOU CAN'T OR AFRAID OF TAKING RISK on: September 13, 2018, 11:52:13 PM
It is hard to rely on luck for success. If you are afraid, then try to study it first before really participating on cryptocurrency. It is even hard for experts to predict the market for bitcoin and or on any other cryptocurrency, how hard could it even be for the common person who are afraid to take the risk of investing on bitcoin. It involves a lot of studying so one should be really serious about it.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is the Crypto Market going down? on: September 13, 2018, 03:40:15 PM
This could be because the world market is down as well. There are news that I have watched about a week ago that talks about the economic crises that hit a certian country. I don't know how related these things are to the world of cryptocurrency but for me it does affect the cryptocurrency community because this as well involves the use of money.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jobless No More on: September 12, 2018, 11:46:39 PM
I am also into bounty hunting and it is good I also earn something from it. But I would not recommend to participate or focus on these full time. It is so hard to choose a good ICO that could allow you to earn more. There are more than just once when we as bounty hunters are not paid that much for the hard work being spent. It was sometimes disappointing but life must go on no matter what, there are still good ICOs that I think will give me just enough. I understand this is because of the current condition of the cryptocurrency market and alot of banning, etc. So that I did have to work on something to support my families needs other than cryptocurrency. I am a poor and I can't help my situation out not unless I would be doing everything I could.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will NEO become strong? on: September 12, 2018, 05:13:41 PM
Neo is a good coin and one of those new promising altcoins. The price depends on usage by people and investors. If we people will just go on holding it without giving neo a real usage will result in a less known neo.l  It would be a big factor if neo will be used even by the common people.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: When will smartphones used for bitcoin mining? on: September 11, 2018, 11:15:53 PM
I think it is possible but we need to consider the time you need to mine bitcoins. The transaction is a complicated process which would use too much power and would certainly draw more current from your battery. And we all know how limited our smartphones are and it could heat up that could damaged it eventually. So it maybe possible but not a good choice of device.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens if a stable coin is in high demand? on: September 11, 2018, 09:34:52 PM
Should a stable coin become so in demand, I would say it would be gigh valued. The prices are connected to demands and because it has a limited supply it is for certain  that the value will go up very high. Even if a coin is backed by a real currency that is stable, it will still go volatile with the demands for it. There will always be changes with its value because this is how the cryptocurrenxy works.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is just to complicated for the average person to use.. on: September 10, 2018, 08:19:29 AM
Certainly you cannot judge this people as wrong because they are correct. During those time computers where hard to use because many are not yet into it. And the device doesn't have much application in the real world. But as time moves on everything changes, some difficulties had been addressed that it would be easier now to use it. And computers had become a daily use. The early computers don't have mouse but keyboard only which makes it difficult to use other than just typing. Now we have touchpads, screens and pens that can make it very easy. So in relation to bitcoin, many still have so many problems using it until maybe when people will use it in everything they would do to buy things and related activities. When it will become widely used it will become how the computers have evolved.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scams on: September 09, 2018, 04:05:16 AM
Based on what I have learned it is really true that the task of listing on exchanges is hard to do. There are a lot of requirements before they will accept it. Volume of trades is a very big requirement because we all know exchanges lived because of these transactions. They will earn from what they receive as payments. A portion of your token as money goes to them. So if the coin doesn't have volume it might certainly fail.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: how to help people who have problem economic on: September 08, 2018, 04:27:32 AM
It would be hard to suggest things and make those things acceptable immediately. We know how hard life is and giving a person all that he needs including a job does not guarantee that a person will become progressive. It must come with interest and skills. Giving the person a fish is not a guarantee either that he will be able to survive the exonomic problems being faced all the time. It is teaching him how to fish that makes him economically stable as the saying goes, and it is really true. Interest and skills are the key to economic stability.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favorite Coin for 2018? on: September 08, 2018, 01:14:44 AM
I think there are really a lot of coins out there that are really designed to be secured and good. But due to the bearish market many of these coins do not have much supporters or investors and due to various coins in competition, they did drop in terms of prices. So far I am not actually always looking at every coin or any coin but I do like the technology behind EOS coin and the one from XYO if I have not mistaken. Of course I don't want to forget bitcoin being always on the top.
