i bought in around 0.0015 and 0.0020 .... hoping it will increase in price, was it dumped that bad?

Foolish people, how can you just trust ppl online with money? I was going to post 30 mins ago or so saying how in the world ppl can just throw 60 btc at someone who just makes a simple webpage and opens a coin? I got burned bad enough mining panda and not dumping, then buying .2 btc. Fool me once shame on them, but never again. This is a lesson for all of you, dont send money to strangers. No regulation, cant get any of it back, so its gone.

ok, now when i pressed getmininginfo i got this
 { "blocks" : 48899, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 16.00000000, "errors" : "", "generate" : true, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 1132329, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false }
no coins yet though, even though in transactions there was a bunch there
Ok, setgenerate true -1 in the wallet... but why did i do that?
ok, just opened the wallet and it does so automatically after I added a conf file to the win roaming folder.
i can hear my power supply fan cutting in.... and wallet saying immature blocks, guess its doing something.

no way to salvage this, i recommend an admin close this thread, using pastebins from wolongs irc ( http://pastebin.com/NhmXMRTj) and some of the devs (JacobUX) who were discussion there how to get this to pump again... not trustworthy at all. For any future coin premined and ipo is a huge warning sign, especially when so few control so many coins. Nothing new implemented, just a name who cheated everyone (wolong- and likely some of the devs were in on it). People sent btc to him, and he stole it all, then dumped the remaining coins he said he would hold for 6 months. Really terrible experience. Someone should make a fraud suite against him in court if he indeed does live in Singapore, that is if he broke the law there. At least for him claiming to give to charity (and then not). Be nice for him to get jail time...

As great as all these get rich quick IPO and all are, who are the devs working on this? I can make a nice website and get 100btc in a day and then disappear. Where is the evidence they have the skill to do anything other than make a simple html page?
so wolong just does half a days work, and then runs off with 750 btc or so of free cash? who is this guy and where does he live? How can people let something like this happen?

Why is the price crashing?
For me, I started mining back in november when the price of btc went crazy. Was a noob, and still am, missed mining newly launched coins and was afraid of the new 100% POS type coins, seemed scammy to me. Anyway, im interested in this one as Ive missed the launch or investment of NXT, and similar coins. Thanks devs, nice idea.

Wonder if this is still going to go well with panda and other coins like utc having more backing cash/etc... hmm
Whats up with all the pools? All of them give me 100% rejects! Everyone is saying something about the coin forking before release?
Need modified cgminrr or vertcoin miner 0.5.3 etc. Do that use same settings except increase tc a bit and leave int or reduce slightly
I'm gonna recommend panda.suprnova.cc
Getting decent coins and its a smaller pool

Look at you're regular Scrypt mining settings for ltc/etc
Then for 280x for ex, change tc higher (instead of 8192 make it 11000 or so) and leave intensity the same(13), don't lower it unless you lower tc more (say 8192 for 12 int).
I have found for mu miners to prevent hw error you need a higher tc/int ratio as compared to reg Scrypt.
Remember if cgminer doesn't start lower tc, if you get hw errors increase tc, this is for adaptive n Scrypt types (utc,vert,panads 2.0)
Took me a while to figure this out, thought id share
supernova was working, then all the thing said was share is above target... whats that mean
How are the mining settings for this? Same as regular scrypt, or is this a jane/vert/etc scrypt? Is it the same as ltc/doge/etc?
How can I set it up for 7970/280x? any same coins i can test mine my rigs with first to get decent hash?

I'm a bit surprised by the 7950 results I have been seeing in this thread. I modified almost nothing from my config from when i was mining scrypt, and I fired up vertminer in a modified bamt 1.1 setting (using this mod https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=404364.msg4668635#msg4668635) and here is what I get: Powercolor 7950 PCS+ - 314.5 kh/score/mem 1070/1500, stock vddc, thread-concurrency of 21712, gpu-threads 1, lookup-gap 1 intensity 20, worksize 256 temperature is 74C at 59% fan (set to auto) XFX 7950 DD (TDKC) - 307.7 kh/score/mem 1040/1495, stock vddc, thread-concurrency of 21712 gpu-threads 1, lookup-gap 1 intensity 20, worksize 256 temperature is 73C at 86% fan (set to auto) No HW errors and a 0.4% reject rate. I also have a 5770 in the same system running at 83.1 kh/score/mem 910/1250, vddc 1.100, thread-concurrency of 3100, gpu-threads 1, lookup-gap 1 intensity 18, worksize 256 temperature is 67C (fan not registering a speed apparently. might be too low) This is all running on a very old system that consists of a DFI NF4 Ultra-D with a single core Opteron 146 CPU and 1GB DDR. I see no correlation between amount of system memory and thread-concurrency settings. My other system runs with 4GB of DDR2 and the results i get for my 7950's in scrypt are the same. I was starting to wonder if I could go higher by changing my TC, but from what I see, i'm probably pushing the limit already. I have another rig running 2 more 7950's and a 270x on bamt 1.3. If I have time, I will modify my bamt 1.3 for vertminer and see how it performs. EDIT: ASUS DirectCU II TOP R9 270X in BAMT 1.3 - 191 kh/score/mem 1100/1250, vddc stock, thread-concurrency of 12288, gpu-threads 1, lookup-gap 1 intensity 19, worksize 256 Those are some great speeds with your 7950 cards. On the exact same settings (except for lookup-gap 1) I'm getting a maximum of ~280KH/s per card, using 4 cards. Are you using optimized binary files by any chance? C:\currencyMiner\Vertcoin-CGMinerAleks_NR3\cgminer.ex --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pickaxe.pool.pm:3305 -u dfsd.fddfdfd -p fffffdfsfs.sdfsdfs --gpu-platform 0 -I 19-w 256 --thread-concurrency 16384 --gpu-engine 1070 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-fan 30-90 --auto-fan --auto-gpu --scan-time 30 --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 85 --temp-target 80 any suggestions or ideas? I noticed the "--scrypt", i thought it had to be "--scrypt-vert"? honestly im not enjoying mining this currency now as my 280x/7970 only get me around 230-300 (instead of 650-750), so im just using middlecoin for immediate btc. When I set i - 13 i get all kinds of HW errors, and i noticed some others on here were getting them as well... which I found strange, all of my mining rigs (only tested 3) have this issue.

Tried similar settings, and from the other How to Mine Vertcoin thread... with my 7970/280x i still get HW errors. On an i7 3770k desktop with 8gigs of ram, I cant get above i=12... very strange.

Im using this
{ "pools" : [ { "url" : "stratum+tcp://XXX", "user" : "XX", "pass" : "XX" } ] , "intensity" : "12", "worksize" : "256", "lookup-gap" : "2", "gpu-threads" : "2", "expiry" : "30", "scan-time" : "5", "thread-concurrency" : "6400" }
and am only getting about 220 each 7970/280x... ive got my clocks set as they would be for mining ~700kh/s on regular scrypt. Anyone have any advice? When i set it to 13 intensity i get HW errors... im surprised this is so low. Thought just to mine middlecoin, then but VTC on an exchange at this rate.
