Hi taco! Im using middlecoin to mine... It seems that if i use a low concurrency, when i start, the hash number will appear and the mining will begin, but in reality the accepted never appear (stays in zero). I resolve this situation by raisng the concurrency... Donīt know if its a problem on the middlecoin server or the guiminer side. Another idea for the new version... Create some nice interface (or graphical interface has the cgwatcher) Create the possibility to put a backup mining server in case the primary one fails after X attemps to get blocks. Also a nice touch would be the possibility to make programed reboot cicles, like a reboot from 3 to 3 hours for exemple (im using startup on the guiminer), and for reboots the software Rebooter. I think the rudeness is because there have been a lot of people posting non-Middlecoin related posts in this thread, and it's becoming increasingly difficult to sort the relevant bits from the rest of the noise in here. There is an entire "Mining" subforum specifically for help with mining. I would suggest posting there to seek help. Hi Matt, I agree with you... It seems i was with lower thread concurrency for Middlecoin (one 7950 and a 280x), i manage to rise the values with i guide i read, and the accepted blocks are now coming... Guys... Im having a problem here and i cant see to find the problem... Im using guiminer because its fast and intuitive... I have 2 rigs, both with 2 cards... One rig is working ok, but the new one i have setup this weekend is giving me headaches... I have everything correctly configurated on the CGMiner, but i cant see the accepted starting to add numbers... When i do start, it will start the mining process, but it seems nothing happens... most of the time the accepted stays the same... or appears a new number from hours to hours... im minin at 670 and 530 for both cards... For one im a very honest person, and i like to belive others are honest too...
I donīt understand why H02 would lie about these... I donīt really care about if it is his full time job or part time...
What i do care is some kind of point of situation, some word to the "MOBS", about the state of the pool, ideas, some kind of explanations, etc...
From what is recieving per day, even if he could not reply for himself, he should delegate to someone else...
What i feel is that we are all here alone, and when someone says something about this lack of profissionalism, some guys, just unload all the hate and bickering on others...
If we all unite in the same cause, the service will only get better not worse... H20 need us, and us need his service pool...
This is not just a one way going... like Shut up and take the money every day... no questions asked...
With growth comes responsability...

+1 All I read from you Tealover is accusations and claims that here the performance sucks. If you want to be taken seriously in the slightest, post numbers that prove your point. Give us data to compare, pools to try, testimonies of OTHER USERS that support your stance. Seriously, I dont understand what you think you gain by polluting this thread. All the people who has managed to develop any mining abilities is most likely intelligent enough to understand when performance is not up to par when confronted with meaningful data. Until you can prove your point in an intelligent way and have something helpful to add to the discussion, I kindly ask that you refrain from posting in this thread.. Hi... Im getting a wierd problem....
I have a second rig that i have configurated like my main rig...
When i do start, it start hashing but doesnt accept nothing!!! Its stays on ZERO for long as i wait until i press stop...
I have no ideia whats going on, everything is correctly configurated, all the drivers updated, etc...
Sometimes it works, sometimes it wonīt...
Can anyone helpme out?

And all that goes into ONE LINE in Excel, because then the next line is just filling in the values, pulling a few calculation cells down - and the result is there.

I'm sorry, I missed it, but did anyone see how much the pool balance was before they payout? The graph shows over 140BTC, but the payout transaction said 107BTC were paid out.
Also, at 5,000mhs, we were averaging around 100-120 BTC/day now with 10,000mhs, shouldn't we be averaging 200-240 BTC/day?
Just H2O stealing more coins. No big deal. Since some of you guys said you're OK with 5-10% fee, I'm sure he's going ahead and taking it Come on... You want to learn more how to understand and compare profitability, right?Perhaps it helps you if I share what I did because I needed to know exactly ... and for my first weeks of mining, I have had a very close look at sometimes less-than-one-day phases, because I was switching pools fast, was disappointed by some pools, left because of chaos, tweaked GPU cards, switched off computers, forgot to put --scrypt :-) etc. Now I am in calmer waters, and know more what I do, and essentially just observe what drops into my wallet - but that is the result of active learning, and most of it all, book keeping. I created an Excel file with the following columns:
datetime | datetime diff | khash av the datetime diff is e.g. b7 = a7-a6 and gives the exact length of the timespan more columns: Immature Unexchanged Balance | Unexchanged Balance | Balance | Paid Out | total sum middlecoin
the total sum mc is e.g. g7 = sum(d7:g7) Similiar for a doge-pool which is my failover when middlecoin is ill confirmed | unconfirmed | total sum dogecoins Then I have two more columns with current exchange rates which I look up at http://preev.com/ and http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/#jump-doge-btcand then of course, and very very important, measured with a 8 euro powermeter: kWh | kWh in Euros | kWh-euro-diff
From all that I can then calculate total doges in euros | total earnings in euro | earnings since last time
subtract the electricity and get: and as I want to see how it scales: average profit estimated per day per megahash done. I see how much it is fluctuating. Not so much actually. Around Xmas it was gruesome, but fortunately I kept my coins in BTC, and now ... the past looks better :-) With each new pool/coin I try out I need to insert new columns, yeah bad, but not too bad And all that goes into ONE LINE in Excel, because then the next line is just filling in the values, pulling a few calculation cells down - and the result is there. What is the unexchanged balance?This is your balance of coins other than bitcoins. My auto-exchanger will convert them into bitcoins, usually within a day. Some coins take a while to reach "trade maturity" to where you can send them without paying a fee. These coins will take longer to be converted into bitcoins. What is the immature unexchanged balance?This is your balance obtained from blocks that have not yet reached maturity, and are therefore possible orphans. After a designated number of blocks, you will be credited these coins, and they will go under your "unexchanged balance" column. Some coins take longer than others to mature. The workflow looks like: Coins mined -> (green) Coins "age" to ensure they're considered valid by the network and so transaction fees are minimal -> (blue) Coins sit in h2o-controlled wallets waiting for an opportunity to sell at a "good" price (as determined by h2o) -> (red) When there's a "good" sell opportunity, the altcoins are sold for bitcoins and is converted to "balance" which is paid at the next payout time. With some coins, there is no need for them to age and coins are immediately converted to BTC and credited as a balance, but it changes based on which coins are being mined and the particular exchange h2o is using.
