Seriously people....?

I've said it before - nobody is forcing you to send your hash to this pool and it's already been shown from other people independently testing that on average we get a better return than just single coin mining, or even when compared to other mixed coin pools.

Can we have an end to accusations and putdowns please, there is nothing wrong with questioning the stats on here and h2o has previously been responding to specific issues in the course of the conversation. Yes - there have been a number of problems over the past few weeks relating to the rapid growth of the pool and deployment of what we were all duly informed was a BETA EU server.

H2o has at all stages done well to keep the community here in the loop on whats going on, just because he isn't posting here "30 times a day" doesn't mean he isn't interested in what's going on, he is probably spending his time working to improve things for the rest of us.

Seriously... don't kill the goose that lays the golden eggs.  Angry

Payout is delayed today by up to an hour. I had to fix some bugs, and now the stats update is backlogged for a while.

Hi H2O, Thanks for the update info...

I don´t know if you notice that some acusations are being made about some stuff..
I personally don´t really care about trolls, but... the lack of any response will make ppl think about it...

Can you please shed some light to your fellow miners? Don´t keep us in the dark please...

Best Regards,

LPC

I love mining during winter ... keeps the house cozy and warm Smiley

Any suggestions on the best hash capable card currently on newegg.com that is below $500 USD (ideally closer to the $400 mark) and best for khash/$? Too many decisions and options ... can't make my mind up ....

This really isn't the place for that topic but lately we've been off topic anyways so... I'd say get 2 270x's. They're about $220 each and do around 450kh/s .

R9 280x. Just picked up a third last week. ~$400 and I get between 680-730 khash/s per card

Payouts are out. Sorry for the delay.

I noticed some problems today (and fixed them) with the EU server, so it's still considered beta.

I've added two new beta servers, so we now have:

uswest.middlecoin.com:3333 in Oregon (same as middlecoin.com currently)
useast.middlecoin.com:3333 in N. Virginia beta
eu.middlecoin.com:3333 in Ireland beta
asia.middlecoin.com:3333 in Singapore beta

They all switch coins, just like the original US server. After beta ends, middlecoin.com will point to the server with the lowest latency to you. So you don't need to mess with your miner config at all if you don't want to participate in the beta.

If you use a beta server, be sure to have a failover server because I might need to take them offline if they have issues.

Also, don't use --no-submit-stale. On any server. When we coin switch with the new non-disconnecting tech, cgminer thinks some shares are stale when they are not.

Anyone who mined LTC knows it's not a stable profit, in an LTC pool you can sometimes make 1 LTC a day or make 1 LTC in 3 days it's all a matter of luck, probability and hash power of the pool. There is no way of telling that your pool will actually find the next coin.
what pool did you use?

in addition to the farm i got here, i also have a litecoin farm that makes a consistent return daily.  it is lower in btc equivalent than middlecoin, but i always diversify.

I was on CoinHuntr (~750MH/s) by far the prettiest site, but it's a Prop payout, no block no reward.
You might be on a PPS pool, usually fees are higher though.

So today's payout averaged out at around 0.0072 btc/mhash/s with no downtime and 0.92% reject rate. Noticeably lower than normal especially since my unexchanged and immature were relatively unchanged since yesterday (+5%).

What's everyone else at?

h20, a quick question…

Is there any difference between using simply "middlecoin.com:3333," as opposed to "uswest.middlecoin.com:3333"?

Currently US - West and middlecoin.com both point to the same IP address so there is no difference.

So we mined longer than normal and got a lower payout than normal. Usually my balance+unexchanged+immature = around .12BTC per day, today... .078.  I currently have .03 still unexchanged and I got paid .048.

I understand low pay days, but mining LTC would have made me $53.80 today, and .048 BTC is worth $44.50. We should *never* be below what we would get mining LTC straight. Even if we were mining LTC (one of the least profitable scrypts) we should still break even. There are currently 24 scrypt coins that are more profitable than LTC.

I really wish I knew how to create my own multi coin pool

Great news on the Singapore server H2O thanks, I'm in australia so I can start using that server for now to test it out. Actually though, the west coast server has a very slightly less Ping (westcoast 173, Singapore 184) but i'll use singapore for testing
