There's a page of reviews on cryptocompare.

Seeing the reviews at first I was inclined to believe that they were legit.  However, upon seeing the users' profiles who left some of those reviews, I've decided that they are most likely a scam or at least engage in the shady business practice of paying for fake reviews.

Here is one of the users who left a five-star review of their service.  Despite having uploaded an avatar to look real, this person only has one review - that service - and he has upvoted all other positive comments about the service as well as downvoting negative comments.

If possible, use a trusted escrow.  The chances are that they will not do that, in which case don't buy.

TL;DR: unknown company creates entirely new miners and engages in shady business practices.  Possible/likely scam.

No wonder why your profile trust is -2

These are my first 5700's:

and with 1380 clock:

The power consumption for Samsung memory is amazing. They take 4-5W more than my 580's and give 1.75x more hash. For 3 cards the total power with the MB pack from the wall is 395W. If only I could find 40 more cards with Samsung memory...  Sad I will replace all my old cards. For now they are better even compared to nvidia 3800. Which 5700's models are known to be with only Samsung memory?

P.S. With these settings I get <1% stale shares from the pool and  ~440/1 accepted/invalid shares on one of the gpu's in the miner. On the other 2 gpu's it is ~1000/1. I guess it is good enough and not worth lowering further the mem clock. I use the standard 1550 mem straps+5990 ttref.

Yes Samsung memory are amazing performance also on RX5600XT.
From experience any GPU could be with samsung either micron , even same box from factory have got half samsung half micron. Its lottery Wink

Unlock bios Powercolor RX5600XT for samsung memory

https://bitby.ru/bios-rx5600xt-mod-en.php
Yeah you can get MSI unlocked bios here also. https://youtu.be/tvmutIkbNIs
But what i have noticed you can flash this even on different brand and it will be working.

Yeah the latest BIOS are locked and cannot mod the timings. Igors lab bios editor doesnt work properly on latest bios

6 pcs GPU and all system eat 943W at my last bios and settings. Stable.

Yo should analizar your rig... it is 200W higher in wall that it  should be for most profitable mining
http://prntscr.com/uzu3bk
What i have noticed, Samsung memory GPUs are great for power consumption.
This 8GPU rig does 450mh/s at 1080w from the wall. It is in closed case , because of the high efficiency fans case itself consumes 130w.
So total for 8xgpu is 450mh/s @950w, which i think is great.
These cards are MSI mech RX 5700XT , i know many people complaining about mem temps on these - but look what temps. i have.
Same rig with same cards with Micron memory uses 300w more.

I'm trying to create courage to mod my card, 5700xt gigabyte gaming oc
I heard bad things about bios mod this card, that is somehow blocked.
Anyone tried this with this exact model?
Doing 54.7 mhs here without bios mod

Yahh you have to look for older BIOS as the bios editor for latest BIOS doesnt work properly as the bios is locked.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Tutorial - Secret sauce Bios mod for RX5700 on: October 10, 2020, 09:06:03 AM
Noticed some guides show 6000 and the video recommends 5990, any difference? 5990 working good for me, this mod seems to require core clock a little higher than normal

No difference its just a random number.
When was testing increased numbers every time and felt like over 6000 there was no speed increase.

112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Tutorial - Secret sauce Bios mod for RX5700 on: October 03, 2020, 08:27:43 PM

Timing Bios mod for AMD cards is nothing new for increasing performance on Ethereum mining. Lately also available for RX 5700 graphic cards. Most simples is just applying 1500mhz straps down bellow, which increases performance by roughly 10-15%. But there is more to that, i was playing with the rom files. And figured out that editing Dram 12 timing also increases performance for mining ETH.
Mining is basically competition whoever can do most efficient. And you want to rigs run as efficient as you can.

So the steps are following to increase another 1-2 mh/s on top of your 1500mhz strap bios mod.

1.By default 1500mhz and down bellow DramTiming12 is set to 2850 and on some cards 2945.

2. You need to edit this to at least 6000 in (1550mhz,1750mhz,1800mhz,1875mhz,2000mhz). Some gpus timing starts from 1500mhz it really doesnt matter which bios you have. I tried both of these and seems like it is working just fine.

3. I have tested this on Asus Strix RX5700XT and also Gigabyte RX5700XT

What i have noticed your cvlt and mvdd also has to be low as possible , my cvdd was set to 760.

Im sure there is more to it and we can increase more performance by adjusting these timing. This process is very time consuming, and im sure people will find how to adjust more of this to increase mining speed.

hi any bios mod is done on these 5600xt? i got an xfx one and its hashing 40.1 at 90w, with tuning on hiveos but stock bios

Only way to mod RX 5600XT i have been successful by modding  same manufacturer bios on it but different series.
Some bios are slower then others for RX 5600XT
On sapphire pulse which was stock bios max hash was 40mh , then used Sapphire pulse BE bios and got the hash up to 43mh/s
Like the timings editing really doe not work, it bricks the bios. It makes me think that we need different tools for editing.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What will you do with you 4gb GPUs when you cannot mine ETH anymore? on: August 25, 2020, 11:43:11 AM
I will mine KawPow! Actually some 4GB already show higher profit exactly on KawPow.

It could be not as easy as you think....

Notice how the difference is in nethash ETH and RVN is almost 100 times more, so what does that mean? If only 1% Ethereum nethash goes to mining RavenCoin, the mining difficulty will increase by 100%, and if 2% from ETH goes to the RVN side, your current mining profit will drop to 1/3 todays...

Yes but the problem is you need very cheap power for this to be profitable. Because there is a lot of 4gb GPUs on ETH and if it will be profitable to mine kapow then all these gpus will mine it and kill the profit. If you know what i mean Wink
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What will you do with you 4gb GPUs when you cannot mine ETH anymore? on: August 21, 2020, 09:13:09 AM
I think most people sold them a few months back. I had some success selling some for like $70 and buying an 8GB model for not much more. The worse time to sell is generally right now since unless you are willing to go thru the headache of using a different OS to mine, most people will just Criaglist their GPUs or just shut them off.

Even though they are not the fastest cards out there, some gamer will probably buy a pair to Crossfire and he should have a pretty decent mid type of gaming rig for a very small price. Much better than buying some Nvidia countertype which is much more expensive.
Yeah you can make from them really value starting gaming pc. Or just mine some speculation ****coins Wink
Selling will be real challenge when when all of these will hit market.

116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / What will you do with you 4gb GPUs when you cannot mine ETH anymore? on: August 20, 2020, 06:32:58 PM

So Ethereum mining is very interesting. There is this thing called DAG file, which is processed in mining. Basically it is a file which is been loaded onto graphic cards memory. As ethereum block-chain size grows also DAG file size grows. Precise exactly 30000 clocks which is roughly 100hours. Current DAG file size at the time of writing this post is 3.78gb.

So how does the DAG file affect mining?

Graphic cards usually comes with memory size 2gb,3gb,4gb,6gb  and so on. This means if the DAG file is bigger then the memory module size on graphic cards , you simply wont be available to mine with your graphic card. If your GPU memory is bigger then DAG file ,you will be available to fit this DAG file on your card and mine with it. There is a lot of cards dropped already from mining ethereum.

But biggest drop probably will be when DAG file reaches 4bg size, because most of the mining farms where using 4gb RX 570/580/470/480  for mining Ethereum.  Because they have been the best price per hash and best watt per hash. If we check hiveos software statistics we can verify this https://hiveos.farm/statistics/ :

23% RX 570 4gb
14% RX 470 4gb
12% RX 580 4gb
2% RX 480 4gb

Roughly 50% from all AMD cards using hiveos is 4gb cards, and AMD has been the best performing Graphic cards for Ethereum mining.

So there is few things what you can try to expand you mining life with 4gb cards. They already are starting to make issue. Using software like Ethos and claymore miner, incorrect drivers etc...

So the things to do :

1. Ensure you're running HiveOS on the latest stable version and updates.
2. Switch your miner to the latest version of TeamRedMiner, Ethminer or Phoenixminer.
3. If your CPU has built-in graphics (iGPU), you can try enabling Internal Graphics on your motherboard's BIOS and ensure it's set to Default (Only applies if you have a monitor connected).
4. If you're still running into issues after trying the above, try removing the "REF" parameter in the overclocking panel.

Using phoenix miner you will get the cards working till at-least epoch 372-373 which is end of October.  You can achieve this also on windows but you might run into issues if you run incorrect drivers, best drivers to use is 18.12.1.1 to 19.7.5

Ethereum classic DAG file will reach Epoc 372 slightly faster around mid September , So i think Ethereum classic is in trouble of getting 51% attack around that time.

At the moment ETH is giving a real and good profit. I m very happy about ETH performance, it is better than btc in my opinion because it's connected to a lot of projects and will be a revolution for all the world. We will see to the moon

REcent GAS price on ETH is insane which drives crazy mining profit.
