Just my opinion but I like the idea of only 1 gpu for now. It gives everyone a fair chance to mine some coins. Big farms can't come in and over take the coins. I feel this coin has some potential and we are all on the same level of playing field for now.

I have two r9 280x in crossfire (for those gaming needs) and i'm pretty frustrated my second card is just warming up and using power.

Currently 20 active connections to the kryptohash network
r9 280 @ 140kh/s with settings cgminer.exe --kryptohash -o 192.168.1.99:38912 -u xxxx -p x --shaders 2048 --shaders-mul 8
hashrate drops when waiting to getwork, miner autom restarts when hash goes below 100 kh/s
Thing are improving little by little
But somebody REALLY needs to take a look at the mining software, got some unused cards here

Blocks are very slow, my miner waits a lot for work.
Is this normal ?
Any plans to enable multi gpu mining soon ?

All x algo's are the upcoming asic's
There is already fpga mining happening on a small scale in china.
Search the bitcoin forum, you will find plenty of info on that.
I find a coin swap complex and unnecessary, all the coins of the new algo need to be premined for that.
The best way to go away from scrypt right now is neoscrypt, the conversion is seamless, mining is cpu/gpu only, and the algorithms efficiency is going up.
And POS is easily implemented
X algo's are inefficient and are not easy to turn into profit.
I agree something has to be done, POS is so long gone that hempcoin has become just another scrypt coin.

Is there a way to set gpu clock and memory speed in the startup batch file ?

I do have a lot of transactions in my wallet , been mining this from block one.
All my wallets are on an ssd and it is very workable, but still noticeably slower.
But a lot better than with the old code.
I have no problem with that, but i'm starting to feel i'm missing out with no pos.
Guncoin (GUN) and Imperialcoin (IPC) are two coins i assisted with in their transition to neoscrypt, if interested you could read the guncoin threat. We had the ASIC discussion there. In the end it boils down to community and the ability to allow small miners to get a piece of the pie. Never underestimate the stubbornness of a CPU miner to get a block.
Got quite some asic power myself but i use it rarely on Hempcoin. I mined most of my coins with a GPU.

If we are going to invest in new development i would prefer Hempcoin going in the Orbitcoin direction.
Orbitcoin is currently 63% pos and is like many others switching from scrypt to neoscrypt to get the asics out and allow the small miners back in.
To be very honest the Hempcoin wallet is still the slowest loading wallet i have (except for bitcoin), and we do not have pos, so maybe that new code is not that great.
Everybody here has already seen how easy hempcoins are sucked up and dumped by someone with moderate scrypt hashing power and bigger machines are on their way to people desperate to make ROI in this bear market.
I've done a few neoscrypt switches and they are smooth, i checked the current code and think a switch to neoscrypt pos/pow would not be that difficult.
And as a plus most coins that made the switch gained value and interest.

I'd be worried about burning out my cpu, I have only 1 machine I use for all my needs. And I'm Mac based, they tend not to make Mac mining software. I know there is a couple out there, but will it support this coin? Most likely not anytime soon.


you can compile neoscrypt cpu miner for mac no probs , your mac is intel based so it will shut down when overheating. burning out your cpu is very unlikely.
I use my pc all day long with cpu neoscrypt phoenixcoin mining and gpu groestl mining, working on it, and virtual machines running. gotta use that machine.

Why would you not be able to mine ? You have a processor in your computer i assume ?
You will be able to support guncoin just fine
When the algo gets switched, difficulty is reset for the new algo. It's possible that you will mine more gun than with your asic.

I would mine with a cpuminer, no probs.
Gpu mining is only about two times faster now for neoscrypt

I'll have no problem pointing my scrypt asic's somewhere else.

KNCMiner is starting to ship their 300 mhs scrypt miners on monday.
Instamining would be really easy with one of these.
Getting asic resistant is a must, i think we have enough coins mined already until the coin gets more acceptance.
Going pure POS would aso be a solution, but i'm more in favor of changing the algo
