I can see a dessert shop picking this coin up for promotion.
When I was saying I want to see food coins here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=425140.msg6734995#msg6734995 I was hoping to see someone roll out like a sushicoin or something.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Artwork 0.25 BTC Bounty on: May 17, 2014, 07:08:55 PM
I need Artwork for Activecoin, the bounty will be paid if the art you create is used by me, multiple pieces of art can be chosen.

1. The art must display some type of athletic activity with the logo of Activecoin being clearly visible and it being      apparent that the art is about Activecoin, multiple activity's in the art is a plus.

2. The art should not have trademark's of other organizations involved in it, such as World Cup, Olympics, Etc.

3. The penrose triangle can be used with or without the full logo as they are both official logo's of Activecoin.

4. Please be open to tweaking or adjusting artwork to be a better fit for my purpose of using it to market the Activecoin network.

5. Additional coins can be incorporated into the art if those coins are not viewed as competitors to BTC or LTC and its community is viewed as one that embraces multiple chain's as cryptocurrency moves forward as a payment system.

6. Please submit art here with protection cover, for peer review, suggestion's, critique, and as alway's, praise.

7. It is possible to submit multiple pieces of art and collect bounty for all

Any questions feel free to pm me, this bounty will remain open until art is chosen and I will then close it in Title and OP, I will leave it open for at least 3 weeks to give bounty seeker's opportunity to find thread, and then its possible to remain longer until my objective is fulfilled.
If interested in obtaining ACT I will quickly pay out ACT for tasteful art that does not meet my expectations of this thread.

Thank You!
107  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Australian Charities Accepting bitcoin on: May 17, 2014, 06:12:20 PM
If a charity wont accept bitcoin I would have to view it as a personal interest group and not a charity, like mentioned above why would they not?
Its good you want to have a charity to accept it and for sure the OP could have been worded differently, but there should not be a real problem to promote bitcoin through a charity or vice versa, whats the harm? It is a good way to send money and people who might like a convenient way to send money might need to hear about it, so promoting it to those people will serve them and the charity.
Where is the harm?

109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: here so many coins.how to choose good coin?any good method? on: May 17, 2014, 05:12:23 PM
You might as well stick em all in a hat and pick one out

makes no difference

It does make a difference.
There are anonymous people developing coins for anonymous users (the hot alt's), and then transparent people creating coins for everyone, then you have others creating coins for themselves

Just do not choose the coins that were created for the developer to make a dump soon as it hits exchange.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Activecoin-ACT, cryptocurrency for the Athletic and Extreme - on: May 17, 2014, 04:56:00 PM
We need exchanges, without that coin will propably die.

This is the only project I am working on and it wont die anytime soon, getting a shop setup so you can spend your ACT, and working on creating interest in my local area (Utah, USA).
If you have any good idea's for progress i will be supportive, there are only around 70 million coins minted of the 4.3 billion that there will be the first year, not alot out there yet and it is hard for me to put a value on them personally without bringing out developments and progress, most all development's cost bitcoin or fiat and i will only ask for donations once the coin is on exchange and accepting donations in ACT will be useful, the ACT holders are welcome to add games or run a giveaway or anything they like to bring more user's, i will put up a small bounty for marketing artwork in marketplace.
More bounty's to come also, I will only risk what i can afford to lose since I am preaching that in other threads Smiley

here so many coins.how to choose good coin?any good method? Smiley
help tell me!

Truly depends on what you want the coins for, the coins that have been offered to you by Anon136 are the best cause they are free  Smiley You should heed his advice and accept his offer (if you have not already) so that you become familiar with those coins.
Researching a coin will be the best way to figure out if its something you will be interested in, taking advice from someone on which is best is a bad idea and could cause you to kick yourself later as altcoins see dramatic volatility, one day a coin is up, next day its replaced by another.
Never invest what you cannot afford to lose.
Obviously a strong community helps protect against large losses, newer coin's will hold the highest risk's and have less places to spend them, but can be fun and exciting if your a early adopter and can follow all the developments over time, ask the LTC early adopter's or Primecoin and maybe they can give you an idea of what that has been like.
I used to pick the coins that were fun, now involved in my own project and i keep an eye on the coins that are working toward's actively marketing cyptocurrency to new user's.

113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for bounties in BTC, will share 10% when I fill one. on: May 17, 2014, 12:54:37 PM
Also could be possible for you to ask for BTC bounty when you see one listed to be paid in altcoin, just shoot them a message.

114  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: May 17, 2014, 02:32:46 AM
It contains a question, but it seems you can't spot it, were you distracted?

Ah but do you not realise that your reply came in two parts, the first being a question and the second being a statement and does not such a configuration violate the basic intent of the thread?

This thread was violated so many times before, trolled and cheated, so maybe it does not care anymore?

As a heavy contributor to this thread I care and believe that should indeed count for something and why should it not?

It should surely count for something, but does anyone care?

117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a coin developer! on: May 16, 2014, 04:15:07 AM
Adjusted to 0.5%. Soon I will be putting out small bounties for sock sniffers, (sock puppet auditing). Other bounties may follow. Eventually I'll need funds for promotional purposes, a website/forum. Remaining funds will be reserved for future development.

Drop your premine so that a developer will look at coming on board, they can premine their own coins anyway, trust me, even with good intentions for the premine most developers dislike them.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Activecoin-ACT, cryptocurrency for the Athletic and Extreme - on: May 16, 2014, 03:51:54 AM
it seems dead Sad

Nope, but sometimes it appears that way, I am not going anywhere for a long time, I do need to update the wallet with a seednode, probably use one of the services that contacted me through pm, i will get an android wallet for it after there is a tipbot, guess I should run a giveaway, but that does not sound like fun, I do not have an automated way of doing that, manual payouts and lots of them.
119  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: need ideas for some websites. for any of these domains. on: May 15, 2014, 03:48:39 PM
This is a vague posting of what you want to do with the websites, but I will leave my 2s for bitcoinmedic.

Start a referral business that help's people with problems they are encountering with wallet's, financial's, cold storage, well everything.
Clearly state what your collection of resources can help them with, you will have to create partnerships and develop trusted sources that trust you so that your business can deliver as advertised, have all communication pass through your website, operate as escrow like service between resources and clients, advertise, win.
120  Economy / Gambling / Re: Guess the Bitcoins price in the end of the day and get the whole prize pool! on: May 15, 2014, 03:29:19 PM
Your not attempting to develop a project?
By the looks of it, this post is miscategorized and should be moved to gambling, or a more fitting sub where gaming is searched.
