101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market does not respect anyone on: May 14, 2020, 11:50:57 PM
While trading, you need to understand that the market does not respect any one either you are a whale or you trade with little capital.

Always look at the bigger chunks of the market and maintain a balance in trade.

To be honest, i can't agree more because the make seems to be majorly control by force of demand and supply even with the fact that high profile investors have a little influence. But like you said, even the whales get burn talkless of low scale traders and that's why it's good to get into trading with spare cash, especially the one you can afford to loose and lastly, it is important to always cashout profit whenever it seems possible
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange security questions on: May 14, 2020, 11:46:45 PM
1st Question: binance exchange and few top exchanges I've used has finger print scanner under security settings, I want to know if this can only safe me from people around me or also online hackers, both withdrawal and deposit requires my thumb print, how good is this ?

2nd Question: my second question is almost same thing as the first, which is 2FA, it's part of my security settings that login, deposit and withdrawal requires 2FA codes too, how tight is this from hackers? And of course people around me ? Thank you

I believe the community members have already provided answers to your question but however, the fingerprint security is just for you and to protect your account from people that might have access to your phone, it has nothing to do with the security from the backend and about the 2fa security authenticity, it has been proven many times that 2fa security has been breach and hacker have their ways of going around it. So the best option still remain keeping your assets on non-custodial wallets
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheating or Not? on: May 14, 2020, 11:42:58 PM
Cheating or NOT Cheating?

Coming from altcoinstalk forum I've experience few projects going against their own rules like saying on promotion page that no KYC will be required and after promotion ends they tell promoters to go and open account on an exchange and pass KYC, what can this be called? Cheating? Any consequences for such projects on this forum? Thank you.

In as much as it seems like teams are going against their set out rules when they comes up with new set of rules at the end of the campaign, i think they do cover some extra rights to make rules and amendments through the discretion they do put up in the bounty rules that the teams holds the right to change or amend the rules that will protect the interest of their project. However, bounty managers and team members have come to discover that hunters do avoid bounties with kyc so they tends to apply it at the end of the rules now
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need your help guys! on: May 13, 2020, 11:59:31 PM
My sister wants to invest into this project: https://www.dxrcointrade.com/ but for me it looks like a scam... can you guys help me get redflags? what you guys think?

I personally don't trust a thing about this site and i believe that's the take of everyone on this platform, it's better you persuade your sister the more to abandon it as sites such as these have scam lots of people in the past. It is always better to invest in platform that seems popular with well defined products that will generate value and revenue to the platform over the long run. I can bet that platform is not having the identity of it's team putten up on the platform and that's a huge redflag
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recommended Airdrop Amount on: May 13, 2020, 11:58:21 PM
If you create a coin with 100 million total supply, how much do you recommend giving per person in an Airdrop to get things going?

Well, it's all depend on your tokenomics but most of the times, coins such as that do have their token price pegged  above $0.1 base price and with airdrops becoming more restrictive over the years, I think around $10-30 worth of the token should be capped for individual participant. Gone are the days when project teams set up as much as $200 for airdrop campaigns, i think they already have a fill of huge dump from airdrop hunters
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible that number of miners will decrease for a while? on: May 12, 2020, 11:49:36 PM
With the recent halving of block rewards, the incentive will be lower than previous for miner. On the other hand, the cost for them will still be same which may not be profitable for a while (I'm not sure about this). If it is true, is it possible that some miners will just leave mining for a while until they get back in a equilibrium or in profit? What fo you think?

I'm pretty sure there will be a decline in the number of miners as the mining industry players have been complaining for long about low profit earnings for so long owing to the fact that the resources requirement for minig  is costlier than the profit yield margin and that's why we've seen mining turn to such a bit monopolized market by mining giant companies. So getting half reward without any price increase to the value of bitcoin will surely make a lot of miners abandon mining
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Small Investors are losing Bitcoin by Investing in Altcoins? on: May 12, 2020, 11:48:19 PM
Read this post and its true how small investor are losing bitcoin by investing in other coins.

https://cryptomaa.com/btc/how-small-investors-are-losing-bitcoin-by-investing-in-altcoins/

It is quite a known fact that bitcoin gives more of a huge return in cryptocurrency investments and trading, however, just like you said, lots of newbies do think bitcoin is more of complicated than most altcoin and let's not forget the fact that altcoins are more subjective to pump and dump action and coin like that do give a huge return too
108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bilaxy.com Exchange legit or not? on: May 11, 2020, 11:45:20 PM
Does anyone have some positive feedback from bilaxy.com exchange here?

I have a token that is listed there, with good volume too (as far as I can see on the site), but before I move my funds there, I need to be sure that there is no scam behind, so please share your experience if there is any

Tnx

I've used bilaxy a couple of time and i must say it's one of the most decent exchanges out there. Muly transactions went smooth without any issue, the volume on virtually all their listed assets is impressive and the easy to use nature of the exchange is amazing. I never had bad experience with them, they are perfect mid-range exchange, i fully recommend them
109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: During a bull market, cash out in what? on: May 11, 2020, 11:40:36 PM
Let's assume that in the next bull market the portfolio is worth so much that you would have been financially secure for the rest of your life. How would you restructure your portfolio to ensure its value? Cash all out in Fiat, Stablecoins, all or part of it in Bitcoin?

Well, if i became so much rich as you fantasized, I'm sure of one thing though. I'll buy as much bitcoin that will add the status of a Whale to my name, i'll buy enough to the exent my portfolio would be able to make a say in the market because i believe the price of bitcoin will grower higher than this and when it does, it will be similar to how people initially bought bitcoin for less than a dollar. After that, i'll convert what is left to FIAT and start living my dream life
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KINGCASINO SALES HITS A MILESTONE RAISES $21.5M IN FOUND 1! on: May 07, 2020, 10:01:50 PM
Latoken and P2PB2B are not trusted exchanges. There is no real volume with them. Even the Bounty Detectives promoting the project is not to be trusted. I always avoid any bounty they manage. So if this comes from them too I want to think there is something that must go wrong with it. Most of their bounties in the past have not paid hunters till now. OP be wise and do not waste your effort unnecessarily on what will not yield anything good for you later.

I don't really know why BM's are being blamed for failed projects, i think a lot of people are forgetting that bounty managers are also hunters working for project and they are not always part of the team in any way. They did their own research before accepting the project and you ought to do yours before joining the project. The whole market isn't favorable to start up projects and i think every manager has had a taste of scam projects, so it's a general problem and not a thing common to only detective guys. And about king casino raising $21m, the claim is questioning due to the nature of exchanges they have their IEO on However, we've seen more unimaginable things happen in this space so i wouldn't be too suprise if they really raised such huge amounts, time will tell nevertheless
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to escape loss as an altcoin trader on: May 07, 2020, 09:51:17 PM
I am typically an example, second trades of same coin hardly favours me and as you rightly said keeping profits and joining back with capital will also help in curtail loss. Many lost huge because if greed though. And one understanding trading well would help too.
when trading I suggest not to be greedy if you want to re-use the coin you bought before then you can wait until the price falls again or at least you buy a coin at the initial price when you buy only need to open an order at a low price and wait until your order is hit.

I can't agree more, nothing kills in life than greed amd it's applies perfectly in cryptocurrency trading. I seriously got burnt the few times greed got an hold of me while trading. Before venturing into any trade, it is better to set your goal and when you hit your target range, take profits and if you can risk the money then you hold on to the trade. Knowing what you want is the basic instinct that will help you fight greed while trading
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wanna Know how to trade? on: May 07, 2020, 09:40:40 PM
Do you wanna know how to trade briliiantly, then you cannot be afraid,

Traders Fail, Fail, and Fail again and again; but make sure that you learn to fail better, learn to fail in grand styles. Soon you will be be unable to fail because you have experienced what it looks like to fail, and why it happened that you fail.

Thats when you will start to consistently win; let away the fear, fail, embrace the failure by learning to be better; then you will enjoy every bits of trading.

You are right, there's a general saying that practice makes perfect and it's apply in any field of life. The key to success is consistency and keeping the hopes high. By making mistakes or failing, you'll be learning a lot and there is a greater chance you won't make such particular mistakes which means you can make just so far for surely one day, you'll emerge victorious
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hate long term promotions on: May 07, 2020, 09:24:48 PM
Durations doesn't matter, small duration bounties can pay high rewards and long duration bounties can pay worse rewards, it's all vice versa, what matters is the quality of the project you promote

I agree with you, the entire cryptocurrency market is unpredictable and so is bounty hunting, i think everyone has had a taste of such experience. Duration dosen't really matter, it's only turns out to be painful when you promote a project for a long time and it end folding up, with a short duration bounty, you can easily move on as you are not really attached to the campaign
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does the ICO have a future in 2020? on: May 07, 2020, 09:20:43 PM
Good afternoon! In your opinion, how relevant is the ICO in 2020 after many projects turned out to be scammers?

The future of ICO ended when binance hosted IEO for bittorent tokensale. People are literally done with Ico's because of many scam exits and the difficulty in know which one is guenuine. IEO offers a bit more of security in as much as the whole market is unpredictable, if you follow ieo's that got listed on exchanges such as binance, kucoin, gate, okex and others, there's always a greater chance that such project are unique and they do have a huge tendencies of returning higher ROI
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tone Vays channel deleted from youtube on: May 05, 2020, 05:19:03 PM
if that was true then what do you think happen to other crypto channels  . thier video and chanel were also deleted   , there are so many of them and i dont think all of them commit same mistakes of breaking the rules of youtube  .   in his case it was way more better because he recieved a warning before the actuall banning happens while other are just shock that they lost thier contents without any warnings whatsoever   . this is why i dont upload my crypto content right now but i have found other alternative that arent strict

For years now, YouTube has been banning crypto related contents channel and this started when the likes of facebook and twitter put a ban on cryptocurrency promotions across their platforms. The only thing i could decipher is that these platforms dosen't wish cryptocurrency sector well and it's shows more reason why need to promote our own contents platform to avoid being getting totally shut out one day
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China policy on Bitcoin on: May 05, 2020, 05:10:53 PM
Do you believe China's policy change regarding cryptocurrency and blockchain, effectively endorsing and encouraging its people to learn and use crypto will result in China is replacing the USA as the financial center of world?

For all i know from my latest findings, china haven't really adopted cryptocurrency and dosen't encourage her citizens to use bitcoin However, there are cryptocurrency activities which are not ban by china e.g crypto mining and this is so because they generate huge revenue due to taxes imposed on mining activities and about the digital currency being created by them, i think it's a way of having power above any rising currency
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A perspective of the future of Bitcoin.. on: May 05, 2020, 05:05:22 PM

To me, the future is now uncertain. I will never give up, but I am afraid a significant number of apparent supporters of Satoshi's vision would, leaving us with no more soldiers in our war. I am afraid that too many of the ones currently supporting cryptocurrencies are only doing it because they have the hope of getting rich one day and are capable of accepting any sacrifice as long as their hope would become reality.

The truth is, majority of people are into this space because of the investment option attached to it. To be honest, i got into cryptocurrency market years ago only knowing one thing, bitcoin is a coin that a person can invest in with the tendency for it to increase in value after some times. I didn't know about the vision and concept behind cryptocurrency but over time, i found my way around things and i understand better. I strongly believe with each day passing, this sector will be having more and more believers and it will be another way round to your conclusion
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If we are to start from beginning. on: May 05, 2020, 04:35:26 PM
I was thinking if the world has the opportunity to restart again as the covid-19 pandemic has "made" it to look like, that different people would have this thought going on in their head. If the economy would have to begin again from the start, what would you want it to be like?
Things you want to exclude or include especially with the economy in relation to bitcoin. Don't include move to regulate bitcoin because it is not going to work

The COVID19 pandemic already leave a huge dent on Earth and things won't be thesame by the time it get over, the world has to start most of things all over again. A lot of people you saw their businesses crumbled due to it's effect would have to start from somewhere too, maybe smaller this time around but one thing is sure, the world will emerge stronger at the end of the day because this pandemic really teaches us a lot and the world will act on those teachings.

Unlike many sectors that got shutdown, the cryptocurrency market has been operational, that's the advantage of decentralized financial institution over the banks. However, i believe the cryptocurrency market will flourish when this is over because people will be looking for sure investment options
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Minereum- Another Ponzi Scheme ? on: April 30, 2020, 09:23:17 PM
You probably know about Minereum Genesis Address. They recently upgraded their platform from V1 to V2. You can find their V2 launching details here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4495159.0

Now come to the point, I haven't fully understand their system and it works. They had launched a airdrop where 32000MNE were given to each genesis address. These genesis addresses are in lv1. They have three step genesis level. To upgrade from lv1 to lv3 anyone have to pay 0.3ETH + Network Fee. If you think you can use those 32000MNE after upgrading to lv3, heil No. You can't sell them to exchange (The only exchange that list MNE is Livecoin). After Upgrading your wallet could mine MNE which can be transferred to exchange and sell. Find more information about genesis level here : minereum.com/v2

Now they have introduced a lucky draw system. This lucky system requires to purchase a ticket+MNE as gas fee. Find the thread here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4495159.msg54249637#msg54249637

So, it seems like they're in thirst of ETH. Is it an another ponzi scheme ?

Your explanation tells one obvious thing which is minereum is trying to rip off which is a topical feature of ponzi scheme. Let's even assume the project is guenuine with lots of potentials to succeed, this send 0.3eth of a thing condemns what ever product and solutions they plane to develop. 0.3eth is way valuable to be been spent on things that ain't sure of proper return
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Is An STO? on: April 30, 2020, 09:14:36 PM
With all the current knowledge that we have about STO, I think this article gives a clearer and more in depth insight. But the question still remains, will STO really present the final solution to Cryptocurrency fundraising?

https://elitemininginc.com/2020/04/what-is-an-sto

i don't really need to go read your write up as lot of people commented bad about it and how you are just looking for traffic. However, i don't think a particular methode of fundraising can really change how people will invest in start up projects. Virtually everyone thought ico was the problem untill the introduction IEO came and help projects raised substantial amount of money and i can tell you that IEO is nothing more than the conventional ICO  now as lots of projects that conduct IEO ends up failing
