I think the best solutions were two. 1. Suggested by other users: Turn into PoS, but mining will not exist anymore. 2. Suggested by me: Turn into KGW so that diff will drop after a few minutes even of inactivity, so low hashrate miners can move the blockchain in no time.
In both cases blockchain will not get blocked and no need to rent miners.
Another option which I do not know if exists is both PoS and KGW together.
Mining GCN for me with the current difficulty is a real pain. I only have 4mh/s. That means I will get less than 100k per day. If I mine other coins I can buy 1-2M GCN
i don`t think dev is gonna to change anything , and just my 2gcn here....he will not response to those suggestions or disccussions. It doesn't matter, although I believe he will respond. At least he is active and doing a lot of productive work. Very cool guy. 1.he is not active at all 2.his "productive work" won`t help if he ignore the security issue of the blockchain

what is the point for you to contact them about the mining issue? prohashing.com is an American company. I very much doubt they want to engage in an activity that is causing damage to another group. I'm sure they will look into the issue for us. CHRISTOPHER SOKOLOWSKI Organization Address3178 CARNEGIE DRIVE CitySTATE COLLEGE State / ProvincePA Postal Code16803 CountryUS the only question you have to ask yourself....is that kind of mining legit?if the answer is yes...then you are no point at all to complain about that. next question would be.....how do you end or avoid the situation like that happen again? there are only 2 choice for this question, abandon it or make it better, that is up to you for you are THE COIN DEV!

It's a profit switching pool. They switch to coins when the difficulty drops, they mine with 3,000 mh/s, raise the diff and move to another coin. When the diff of a coin is high, and the rest of the miners have low mh/s the blockchain is stuck for hours, until they are able to hit new blocks. This causes a problem because nobody can send / receive coins for many hours. After the diff goes low again, they come, mine and block the blockchain again.
i will do that too if i have some decent mining rigs, cheers!

oh..no..i was wrong,i thought sync is done bc wallet shows full sync at block 15912
To resync your block files on Windows, Open %AppData\Roaming\hyper-v2 and delete these two folders, database and txleveldb. Once those two folders have been deleted delete the blk0001.dat file. Do NOT delete the wallet.dat file, this holds your coins and you should always have a copy of this file stored somewhere as a backup after each new address you create. Once you have deleted the database and txleveldb folders and the blk0001.dat file restart your HYPER 2.0.1 client and it should start to sync to the current blockchain. yeah..it works now, block height 43385...thanks again for your help

Actually iota is not divisible just like satoshi. In Bitcoin there are 2.1x10^15 satoshi and in IOTA there are 2.78x10^15 iota. These two numbers are comparable.
i read over entire OP and there is no information of total supply, how you proof that total supply is 2.78^15? afaik iota no even have a explorer to check if this number is true or not. anyone from iota community can point me a way where or how to figure out the total supply please? Supply: Example ~ 2779 Ti seriously? an image as a proof? where is the explorer?isn`t that IOTA also imply POW?

Mega dump going on? position 171 allready.
Two holders dumped in the last two days. Some more strong hands got it, and also it was a buy up quite good of 50000k. price remains stable on the 0.05-0.06 Thats a megadump for you? For sure we are losing positions on coinmarketcap with this altcoins+ ICOs bubble... If we was following the bubble, perhaps we would have more crypto enthusiast, but would lost the trust of the normal people, who is joining faircoin every day.. The process for building a currency for the real life economy, is not the same than the process for getting rich superfast... the price stays the same but the bitcoin price goes up. Will you lower the price in getfaircoin when BTC crashes? If Bitcoin crashes, faircoin will be a good reserve of value, related bitcoin how will faircoin be a good reserve of value if Bitcoin crashes? your statement seems no logic at all. Because at difference of other cryptocurrencies, faircoin value not depends so much of bitcoin, but it depends of the commitment of all the faircoop ecosystem, as most of the participants interact with faircoin from their official currency, and not from bitcoin. And because the experience of official price that Faircoop covers, and the most resources and products you can get with this official price i bought 10k faircoin today from bittrex, just tell me where i can sell this 10k coins with the price of 15faircoin=1 eur now please You can buy many products here at this equivalence, for example: http://market.fair.coopsorry,i'm not interesting with buying products there, most of the shops there not even close to the place i'm living,i'd rather to get back my cash and buy the same thing at the shops nearby

just a suggestion here Greg...to get the better image for GCN,you may need to consider to has a better explorer,it won`t cost much for example if you use the service of cryptoID https://chainz.cryptoid.info/

exact but the block are mined before me So the lucky winner to 1 million the better solution for this is another restart and this time set your premine properly at 1000

yes,i read it 10 mounths ago....10 mounths! do you guys realize what is the problem now? I don't see any problems, all i see is an amazing work by the devs, innovations on the blockchain, great support and a straight up coin that is doing things in a different way. the comment like that is useless imo, people need to know how and why you said so and then examine on it,can you?
