I would say there are many solutions to all these type of issues. For example we could
mine ourselves at a higher rate (all GCN users too). We can ask Prohash to help sort the issue.
I have found discussing problems with people usually works well. Often GCN users suggest
solutions too which we didn't think of. After all, they hold most of the coin.

Mate, seriously. There are hundreds of coins out there where pools mine with more than 70% or 80% of the total hashrate and 51% attack is not an issue for those coins.

He seems to have sorted the issue of the block chain difficulty delaying blocks.

We receive an email here if there is no new blocks every 30 mins and so far all is looking good.

Use a different file. If you keep using the same one it stops paying (just an idea)
