That screen is localhost - not http://192.168.0.4:9332  Huh

localhost is that ip

if both 127.0.0.1:9332 and 192.168.0.4:9332 give You the same result then I would try another browser, if still the same I would try another version of python and rechecked whole installation process
102  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [3500 TH] p2pool: Decentralized, DoS-resistant, Hop-Proof pool on: January 06, 2015, 10:38:27 PM
Thanks for the info, guys.

Quote from: windpath
To open it up to the public make sure ports 9332 and 9333 are open to the public and map to your p2pool server on your LAN...

Should 8333 be opened also to provide better node connectivity? I currently have 8333 and 9333 open.

Any security precautions to take into consideration?

Edit: Opened up 9332, and allowed responding to pings.

Would you fellas mind pinging my server and posting your results? Specifying your general location would be appreciated, too. The server is located in Montreal, Canada.

what You have is more then good, no need to make any change, imho

and the payout per day back to what it is (mostly eaten by hidden fees)
 Angry
3 days in a row "payouts" were above 8k satoshi/10GH (when AMHASH for example hit 6xxx mark). At the beggining of a week they were smaller, average is similiar to previous week. When I recive payout I will uptade my story ...

how many GHs You have there?

I see, You was quite enhusiastic about cmws... cooled down a little bit now... next step is tearing of hair and wiping of the signature

Just testing but if you guys don't mind, can you please help to see if you can access http://sepulcher.wha.la:9332 ? Thanks.

Might take a while for it to load the first time as I'm using a dyn dns service.

Thank you.

Edit: It's hosted at home in Singapore with 200Mbps down/up fibre broadband

it works

to go from firefox to http://192.168.0.4:9332 does not give You any response?
110  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: January 04, 2015, 03:16:38 PM
I have now had quite a good run after a lot of headaches at first with crashing and odd behaviour at stock settings. I was scared at first to try any higher settings but eventually got the courage to give it a go. The ambient air temps of the area it lives in fluctuates between 24C and 32C. When the ambient air temp is at 32C the miner does reach 64C, but these screenshots were taken at an ambient air temp of 26C. Also I am just using the stock PSU on 240 Volts.

You should know
...about Voltage: You can set there what You want, because it has no effect and does not change real voltage of PSU. If You watched cgminer script in S4 unit You knew, that there is always set the same value 0725.
...about S4 PSU: it is 80 GOLD PLUS PSU, running at the very top of its abilities. If You overburn it (by changing voltage via ssh in cgminer script), You can damage it, and I would like to see You how are You replacing it.
...about GHs hashing power: overclocking is lowering efficiency rappidly, if You get 10% more GHs, You loose more then 10% of energy at the same time. No more words about hw errors growing volume. I do not see any sense doing that, but if You want to play, play.

I can highly recommend PatMans good lady's fried breakfast in the morning - absolute class!  Grin

Flattery will get you everywhere...... Wink

Can You please share real consumption at the wall of this S5?

I don't have the equipment to measure it I'm afraid - but you should find that on the Bitmain S5 thread  Wink

Ok, I have found this:

"After running for an hour, it settled into:

Miner Speed: 1155 GH/s
BTCGuild Speed: 1145 GH/s
Power: 675 W (750 W Bronze PSU)"

this is what we probably can believe to (unfortunately guy is mining at wrong pool)

Hello,
I suppose You have tested also setting more than 288W per unit. Would You please tell me if it is safe if PSU is good enough?

edit: I realized that it is impossible to set higher value then 288W

Just for Your information. Spondoolies SP20 latest firmware contains extranonce support. No need to change binaries. I have tested it with nicehash and it works nice(hash).
Thanks for the info, a useful tidbit--I was going to place an order tonight!
Another info is that there is no need to change any other settings with SP20, because by default --queue is set to 1 which works fine. The only thing You have to do with SP20 is to buy one, do fw upgrade (it is pretty easy to do) and point unit to Your favorite pool.

ho ho ho merry xmas to all !

back to p2p 0% Fees captminerp2pool.ddns.net:9332 60+ TH/s p2pool & hungry for more !

Running on 6 cores (12 threads) @ 4.0ghz, 16GB ram @ 2400mhz, qt & p2p running on real-time priority, 256gb SSD

All miners from all over are more than welcomed to join my pool especially to those who are located in asia.

many more blocks to come !

how can i be added to the p2pool list ? I'm also looking to expand further & add more nodes too.

It seems there are no income peers to Your node. Is it because of behind NAT or You did not allow it? It would be useful even for You even for other nodes to allow incomming peers if possible.

119  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: The New Standard, 0.51J/G, Shipping on Jan 4th [Sales Open] on: December 25, 2014, 10:35:27 AM
What would you guys prefer, the S5 or the SP20?

2 x ANTMINER S5 BATCH 2  with shipping in my country is  975 USD

2 x SP20 + free shipping is still 1000 USD
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=903286.0

But I have to agree with the following commentary:"The best way to make money on SP20 was by waiting."

The best way to make money on SP20 was by waiting.

I got one for $814 a week ago (paid maybe 10 days ago), then there was a "christmas" deal few days later for $633 and a couple of days later-a new deal for $500
I expected just to breakeven at best all things considered, but these movements were nothing short of astonishing in speed.
Besides, miner did NOT make $314 in those 7-10 days-barely $100 (even with four days of extra profit due to paycoin rush)
Nevertheless, $500 looks like a good price now, so I am not complaining, maybe will even participate.

My point is this: I am OK with declining prices based on what usually happens (difficulty, product aging, etc), I am less OK with an extraordinary profit margin when as a miner I expect just to breakeven at best-but it is up to Spondoolies, of course, how to market their admittedly good device.

I bought my first SP20 fof 1350 USD (with shipping)+20%VAT  on September 26, 2014 Shipped  Nov 02
I bought my second SP20 fof 875 USD (with shipping)+20%VAT  on November 11  2014 Shipped Nov 27
I bought some SP20 fof 617 USD (with shipping)+20%VAT  on December 17, 2014 Shipped Dec 21  they are still in Israel, They probably come to me 29.12.2014
Today I get to buy SP20 for 500 USD (with shipping)+20%VAT they are received on 2 January?

Almost every time the price will drop even before, when I get my miners.
I do not like to buy things, the value of which will fall so fast. So I'd better wait.

May I know how You got to the price 500 USD with shipping for SP20? I would be interested to buy one if able to reach such price.
Thank You

question I did the wonderful paycoin rush.

I earned 2.8 or maybe 3.0 btc coins vs .8  btc coins

I was doing so well in did not try to do the Extranonce subscription  with the 6 sp20's as I was afraid to brick an sp20 with payoffs so high.

Now that payoffs are close to normal  how do I load or activate Extranonce subscription

Thanks in advance   ,  Phil
