Price drop! Now 0.006 BTC per message . Does that price adjust to the current value of a Bitcoin? I'm sorry but my previous statement of "I don't care if it costs more than other services" is not true really. I could do it once or twice but not in a daily way of activity. Could you peg your price to something stable? I don't think Bitcoin will be stable in the near future. When price volatility increases and goes towards a bubble its not only because there are speculators but also because Bitcoin is growing as a currency... The price is not really pegged to something stable (in the sense of automatic adjustments). I just check it every few days and if it seems unreasonable off the according fiat price I adjust it. So: Price drop! Now 0.0025 BTC per message!

What about total BTC bet?
Total volume (incoming + outgoing transactions) of bitbattle.me is just a few hundred short of hitting 100,000 bitcoins Very nice, early grats on the 100k mark Thanks, and now you can officially congratulate! Today the total volume broke the 100.000 BTC mark And just in case you are wondering: Bitbattle.me is still available from everywhere, including U.S.!

No sense in shares down either. blocking ip to website doesn't stop people from using satoshi dice in anyway.
Sure it does. Player want to look up transactions, recent bets, information, anything

Yesterday I tried to create a wallet, but the "Open wallet" button was always inactive after entering the generated passphrase. Today it worked fine - Was there any change on the site? Otherwise there might be a browser compatibility issue... It did not work yesterday with Chrome 26 on Arch linux, it worked today with Chrome 26.0.1410 on Windows 7.

We have space in our Singapore Data Center, Its however not the cheapest solution.
1 x 2.0 GHz Core Ram 1 GB 1 IP Address 25 GB storage
This would be $70 a month in the Singapore DC, The same server in our NYC datacenter is only $20
The higher price of our Singapore DC keeps most from selecting it, but I wanted to provide you the offer.
The DC is very stable and reliable with fast redundant uplinks.
PM if you are interested.
Thank You.
Thanks for the offer. 70$ is indeed a hefty pricepoint - Probably not worth it for me. But let's see if something cheaper comes up...

As these questions came up quite often the last days I updated the FAQ with - My bet got REJECTED. Why?
- My payment is in state "paid" but does not confirm and/or is not showing up on blockchain.info. Where is it?

Ever consider having a deposit at the start of the battle so that there isn't a tx fee every time you bet? Would cut down on costs.
I was thinking of suggesting a way to allow users to gamble with their in session winnings, would have a similar effect.(less tx and faster) Seems like a fun idea. Regarding deposits I don't really like that idea. I think one advantage of bitbattle.me is the possibility for instant bets without any deposit in advance. I want to keep the amount of trust a new player needs into the site as low as possible, hence no initial account or deposit required. Another thing is the idea of using your session winnings to gamble. Sounds interesting, but would require a total new betting system off-the-blockchain. So at least in the near future something like this will not be implemented... If you want to save transaction fees you can already now place multiple bets in one transaction using "sendmandy"-functionality. But of course this does not help if you are running a bet strategy that depends on the result of previous bets. Btw, as it seems 0.8 client will reduce the minimum forced tx fee I will follow and also adjust the fees both required for incoming bet transactions and for payment transactions.

Sorry guys, thats the answer why we have closed the tread of our announcement
Trying to squelch open communication about your service also does not instill confidence. This!

Rolled out an update today which significantly reduces initial loading time. Most javascript stuff is now in a separate script file which your browser will cache after first load. Overall the size of index.html is down from >70K to ~30K. Really should have done this earlier

How does this patch behave with regards to chained transactions? Say the output of TX1 is spent in TX2 (both unconfirmed). Now TX1 gets replaced - From my understanding of the code this means that TX2 can never confirm, because it's inpoints are not existing anymore. Or am i missing something? Sidenote: Although i run myself a site which heavily relies on unconfirmed transactions I fully support implementing this. I agree with the opinion that this behaviour is inevitable in the future, so we should better prepare for it sooner than later. And if this means I have to close down or rewrite my site - so be it. Was fun while it lasted

Herbert what's the total amount of bets you guys have gotten? I think it's safe to say you guys are 2nd biggest Bitcoin gambling website?
Just look at the Bet# on live bet log. Right now: 141601 I'm not sure about being 2nd biggest. For sure smaller than SDice, but I did not have a detailed look on the bet count of all the other sites
