Just some updates on the current development stage. Private API (Realtime trading) is being tested and it will be enabled in the next beta client.  Private API functions such as execute orders (Realtime trading), account balance query will be enabled in the next beta client.When in-client trading function is completely implemented, vTorrent trader will be able to trade right on the client with the same (if not better) experience as in browser. No insult was mean, just most coins are scams so many do wonder.
I know I said this once, but I think it's big big mistake going POS if your in this for long haul. POS just makes the rich richer staking. I just think it's horrible idea if you want this coin to go places.
Having mining community (POS coins don't attract miners) on your side is huge asset in making long term coin. 200 x the coin count, just do it small blocks longer term.

The poll is just to get feedback from the community and it was setup by investor who believes mining with big PoW reward is currently killing the value of the VTR. After the poll I will consider all of the options throughly again. |

@vTorrent knowing 99% of cryptos are just flat out scams, what can you do to prove to investors this coin is legit? Can you release something big, proof of developer, any other things to build trust for community to rally behind?
Would be huge if people know they are investing in a legit coin vs. another scam.

There will be no POD since I choose to remains anonymous with the project, and I fail to see why real legit coin would need a 'PoD'. No need for me to repeat all of the example from the project with a perfect score on 'PoD' but still is a perfect scam. Is there anything NOT legit about vTorrent? It is a fair mining coin since started, and honestly I don't even have the miner myself. There is no Pump and Dump group behind this coin and I am working hard to make vTorrent the best coin out there. |

Do not fork. Why? If you do that, less people will be able to get coins through mining phase. Mining = backbone of crypto. Most of people who're asking for block reward reduction, just want to get money quickly. They're afraid for their investment. Which is logical. They started mining with the current scheme, so they took a risk. That should be enough to say. I don't see what's wrong with a 2 month mining period. When mining ends, price will skyrocket. I can't get the windows wallet to sync (out of sync).. I have tried to add notes listed in the OP, but still won't work. Can someone confirm which one should work? Or what am I possible doing wrong?

WTF?? To get short standard version of addresses from your client, please check in 'Coin Control Features' (Preference > Display > Display coin control features) then go in the send tab you will see that there is 'Inputs..." button, inside you should see the list of all your address in standard short version. Please keep in mind that your coin might be spread in multiple addresses thus not showing in the 'rich list' Thank you for your support. |

Put all the nodes in text file and save it as 'vTorrent.conf' then move/copy it according to your operating system For Windows: The file AppData folder is hidden by default so make sure to enable viewing hidden files. Windows drive (C:) -> Users -> $YOURUSERNAME -> AppData -> Roaming -> vTorrent For Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/vTorrent/ OR /Users/$YOURUSERNAME/Library/Application Support/vTorrent/ For Linux: Please let me know if you still have any problem after following this procedures, Thank you for your support. |

Hello, As soon as the client with in-client trading is out of beta, running solid and bug-free across all of the operating system, and the issue with block reward is solves (possibly through voting by the community), we will be moving on to details in implementing torrent protocol to the client and network. As of now, the current design is to reward those who contribute to the community (uploader, seeder). They will not make more coins as in staking but they will be reward by the users who download the torrent itself (leecher). There will be beta version available before the final version of the client with torrent implemented, the same way as in-client trading, beta-testers will be able to leave feedback from their experience. It's really sad seems like nobody loves and support great coin and great dev like you but root for ICO coin with nice video and marketing instead  Indeed, I still don't understand how community won't support coins which can be freely mine with no fancy 55BTC marketing cost ICO anymore. Beta version of Windows client should be ready by today or tomorrow. Being Proof of work (POW) currency, there are constantly pressure of dumping from miners with our block reward at 200 VTR ~288,000 VTR per day. If community think this is a good thing for vTorrent, there can be hard fork decreasing the block reward to 50 VTR or below and keeping the same supply in total. In turn, the price of VTR should be much more stable since there won't be anymore big dump from miners. Please comment in thread about this matters, Thank you for your support. |

Most features coming to in-client realtime trading in the next beta version. -Last Price, Bid Price, Ask Price flashes with colours indicating increasing or decreasing of the price. -Settings to let user choose to turn off realtime update of price to manual. -Overall improvement of UX/UI.   More function will be added to make trading experience as close as possible or even better to trading in browser. From my personal experience, price updates in Order book in client are almost instant and most of the time faster than on the browser itself.
