Appreciate the kind words. Yes, it seems, unfortunately, I am stuck here by myself now, though, as far as making anything happen ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) The only two things this coin has right now are dice and GorillaStake, which I've done... Starting to think I wasted over a week limping that shit chain along just so others could dump, then go make posts about how I'm a scammer did that vegas guy up and leave? he was probably the loudest advocate ... now i don't see him post much lol i was kinda wondering that myself

Is a pro Dev all it takes to revive a coin 😏🎉?
Technically yes. It is the first step to have a properly working coin. Imagine adding to that a management team with vision, strategy and business plans. Perfect. Where do we hire them I don't think it is a matter of hiring someone. A management team needs to be someone with passion for something and does not matter to initially put in effort to achieve his passion with rewards later on. It would typically be 1-3 community members that get together with a shared vision and go for it. A coin is just the technical enabler of achieving the vision and the coin is either an asset in the process or a tender instrument to make the plans work. The coin specs must compliment the vision and business objectives, e.g. transferring value that is not time sensitive can have coin specs of 10 min block time because block time is not a major issue. Retail use at point of sale is time sensitive and needs super fast transactions and sub 1 minute block times with only a few confirmations. Few people have the appetite though to commit to something like this and really be committed or most lack the skills and have no business savvy, hence 99.99999999999999% of coins being just a fad that starts and ends quickly thereafter. Managing a coin needs proper business skills and can be compared to running a company. Evidence of this is the absolute commitment and passion displayed by the 2-3 coins that are actually getting somewhere at the moment. The original dev's lack of willingness to still be involved is an indication that he does not have the passion for what he wanted to do here. This means that he probably had alternative motives for launching the coin whatever that may have been. He has been handed a perfectly working coin but he walked away, probably to start a new coin (with a premine ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) ) People threatened the dev. They told him to stay away. Coin is different than he was trying to do. Why should he be working on it? He made a mess, but he stayed and payed. That you have to give him. To many people are against him so I dont think he could do anything for this coin. @iGotSpots fixed some things but to give it a value then it have to be used for something. I've been asking him to do his original plan since day 1 if he did try to implement his plan and you (iGotSpots) were good with it im sure the community would follow suit. but the longer he waits or isnt around the more the community will think it was a scam or something along those lines. just my opinion. Btw, good job, Spots, on the getting ECASH on

Not getting there as fast as it should, all because people are to lazy to run a windows wallet
agreed, but my wallet has been open for over a week and has staked twice... .01. thats most likely why buy more ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) at least you have your wallet open ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I have had 3 small ones today with 2 rejects which is pretty standard for a pos wallet with only a few of us staking if i could i would. but at the moment im btc'ed out lol

So,this is another thread of Ecash?
this is not the x11 one that was created 10 days after this one. this is a new thread created due to a community takeover of E-money, bittrex ticker ECASH

I wonder if the stake % will be true for everyone. With so many orphans it seems that the stakers with the fastest ping responses will get their blocks accepted first. Stakers with high latency will get orphans most of the time and therefore wont get the quoted stake %. The coin might be overheating because it is do fast. Is it possible to up the difficulty so that there is a bit more delay between blocks and therefore lower the orphan rate?
Blocks seem to be solved faster than the network can process that the previous block has been solved. It might be that the network is running away by the connections with the lowest latency and the high latency connections are dragging behind with the orphans. There might be a lot of wasted hashing on old blocks. It is almost like running full speed downhill.
im watching it stake right now, all my coins were moved to one big lump earlier... first tx was orphaned 153.xxx next tx was 157.xxx accepted. the block value goes up as you orphan until one is accepted getting you the same % that you were gonna get in that amount of time Confirmed Date Type Label Address Amount TRUE 2015-03-11T23:16:17 Mint by stake 60.919538 FALSE 2015-03-11T23:14:21 Mint by stake 59.640388 FALSE 2015-03-11T23:13:30 Mint by stake 59.080759 TRUE 2015-03-11T23:12:05 Mint by stake 58.28129 FALSE 2015-03-11T23:10:56 Mint by stake 57.481821 TRUE 2015-03-11T23:09:58 Mint by stake 56.042777 FALSE 2015-03-11T23:05:42 Mint by stake 53.324583 FALSE 2015-03-11T23:04:44 Mint by stake 52.764954 FALSE 2015-03-11T23:02:47 Mint by stake 51.485804 FALSE 2015-03-11T23:02:11 Mint by stake 51.166016 TRUE 2015-03-11T23:00:21 Mint by stake 49.886866 FALSE 2015-03-11T22:58:47 Mint by stake 49.00745 FALSE 2015-03-11T22:55:25 Mint by stake 46.848884 FALSE 2015-03-11T22:54:40 Mint by stake 46.369202 FALSE 2015-03-11T22:52:50 Mint by stake 45.169999 FALSE 2015-03-11T22:51:03 Mint by stake 44.050742 FALSE 2015-03-11T22:49:35 Mint by stake 42.931485 FALSE 2015-03-11T22:48:06 Mint by stake 42.211963 FALSE 2015-03-11T22:46:27 Mint by stake 41.092707 FALSE 2015-03-11T22:45:30 Mint by stake 40.533078 FALSE 2015-03-11T22:43:29 Mint by stake 39.094034 FALSE 2015-03-11T22:42:59 Mint by stake 38.93414 FALSE 2015-03-11T22:40:59 Mint by stake 38.534406 TRUE 2015-03-11T21:41:26 Mint by stake 85.303343 TRUE 2015-03-11T21:40:01 Mint by stake 83.624458 FALSE 2015-03-11T21:38:32 Mint by stake 81.785679 FALSE 2015-03-11T21:37:20 Mint by stake 80.026848 FALSE 2015-03-11T21:36:26 Mint by stake 79.067485 FALSE 2015-03-11T21:34:44 Mint by stake 76.988865 TRUE 2015-03-11T20:33:40 Mint by stake 157.495395 FALSE 2015-03-11T20:32:14 Mint by stake 153.897784 TRUE 2015-03-11T19:31:03 Payment to yourself -0.08

bittrex can't withdraw ,and wallet view Disabled ,,help dev ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) You should really ask trex. the windows wallet is working and blocks are moving. thats about all the help spots can give. ask on twitter or put a support ticket in but I dont think its been disabled for long. they may just be doing some maintenance of some sort

Just so there is some transparency...about 97% of the coins mined in the first block for the swap were sent to Bittrex, including Pending Deposits that will NEVER CONFIRM on the old chain. It's not like there were a lot of coins lost...
There were less than 180,000 coins total that didn't make it, out of nearly 5 million. 97% is a high A in every school I've ever been to, especially considering the clusterfuck you guys started with. To accuse me of any malicious intent or meaning to deceive makes me want to kick you in the ears
So at the current market rate, that is less than $300.00. That's not a lot for all the time you put into this. People start at Wal-mart for more. and dont forget his plan was to burn that 180k but the community told him to keep them

Thank you! I dont think anything malicious occurred and again you had a majority of the active community's input, we all agreed on everything that you ended up doing.

So from everything i have gathered so far between here and the other thread, most alt coin mining pools dont pay attention to whats going on in the actual coins thread.
I know ocminer worked on this thing, miningpools had the most hash and mined a vast majority of the coins, but man, when you got that much at stake and the coin is that big of initial hit to the miners you'd think a little more attention would be given especially when problems began to arise.
My comment to everyone regarding loss of coins it sucks to loose on anything, i know, i have lost on many different things in life and am very experienced in loosing lol, but you guys the blocks had stopped. there was no throwing hash power to it. we were all on different chains. as i said before, as soon as i heard a planned coin swap would be done through trex all my coins moved there even though it was supposed to happen at 10k i didnt care. i cant be in the minority here. when everything started collapsing rapidly at 8k i still tried to solo mine as all the pools were on different chains and i did move a bunch of blocks along with a few other people. unfortunately at the end i myself ended up being on 2 different chains on 2 different solo rigs, im sure everyone was on different chains. so at this point nothing was getting accepted and then it was over. it was broken. so at this point spots had to make a decision based on all of our inputs. walk away and leave everyone with absolutely nothing, a broken blockchain, and a wallet that didnt stake or move to the next phase and at least some of us, the ones that had been proactive and had the coins on trex already, would be able move forward... i know some of you are pissed, but dont bitch at spots he salvaged what he could. the community majority wanted him to move to the next phase and told him as such. he did exactly what we wanted. so be pissed at all of us, not him. thank you.

Downloaded the wallet last night and sent over the coins from Bittrex. Coins transferred fast, and one they matured they were staking like crazy. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Unfortunately I need to swap the wallet over to my netbook that I can leave on all the time and not take to work. ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) No staking at work. I am assuming that the minted coins are still maturing while my wallet is off since they are on the blockchain, or no? This is my first real attempt at staking coins for longer than 30 mins. they seem to be. had to shut my system down last night to update which i knew would take a while so i moved all coins to 1 address, updated my machine, within 5 min of unlocking wallet i got a 1.2k ecash stake (the updates and cleaning of the both the hard drive and all the hardware took about an hour) Wow you must have a nice stack of e-cash dude i have about 60k and the biggest stake i have had even after switching of for the night is about 70-110 and they usually orphan loads of blocks then i get 40ish stakes which not complaining its all good and Spots has done good here ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Question are we getting a block explorer Spots? actually no, i only had about 41k at the time of that stake.

I lost my 1440 coin. Thank you igspot!!! how is he scum? uour 1440 coins is meaningless in the grand scheme of things. heres the deal, over 4m coins mined, ALL would have been gone at block 6k had he not fixed the coin, dealt with bittrex, and built a new wallet. So, at 6k you would have lost everything, wallets would have been disabled and your 1440 coins would have been worth less than 0 regardless as PoS was broken, nothing staked until we got the new blockchain and swapped coins. also, the blockchain broke. If you want to mad thats fine but be mad at yourself for not following the thread closer. At the end i had almost 400coins on minerpools unconfirmed, but because i had watched this thread CLOSELY i set up auto withdraw directly to trex and had moved all coins from my wallet to trex by block 6120. pay attention next time. your ignorance to what is happening around you is nobody's fault but your own.
