101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: B8 coin can’t be swap on: November 10, 2021, 03:37:44 AM
What happen if I bought a b8 coin and can’t be swap, can they allow it to only buy and no sell?
The coin still persist in mine meta wallet
Have you heard about squid tokens' scam? People reported that they couldn't sell it. Nevertheless, people continued buying, but the thing is that there was a function in a smart-contract that didn't allow anybody to sell. if the contract of b8 has proxy features, it is possible for developers to change the code and even if it was OK before changing, it can become very dangerous after replacement.
102  Economy / Economics / Re: Who wants to do what. Jobs or business.. on: November 09, 2021, 03:19:33 PM
It is said that every ambitious person who wants to become financial free must set up his own business, but I don't think that everybody is capable of setting up his business. Nevertheless, I am sure that everybody can start investing or find any other ways to get passive income in addition to his work.
So I think that everybody should decide on hiw own what suits him more, but in addition to this we should look for other ways to make money.  Cool
103  Economy / Economics / Re: Preparing for the future. on: November 09, 2021, 03:09:47 PM
Unfortunately with the current projection of things, the pay from that job that you have spent most years in school preparing for and trying to get may soon not be able to sustain you economically in the near future. Also, that dream job/career that you are working and hoping so hard to get may soon become an obsolete profession due to the change and evolution in technology and ways of doing things.

My opinion on the way forward?
-Upgrade your mindset and break free from the old mentality of "Finish School, Get a Job, and work yourself for a paycheck to retirement". If you have a great job, and it is what you love, I'm not against it, but for the sake of the future...you must arm yourself with knowledge and learn a high paying skill that has future prospectives if possible.

Unfortunately I have found that the majority of information and knowledge that I was taught at school was just useless. I was not taught financial literacy and some other useful skills of how to be interviewed, where to find the job etc. The only thing that school really develop in a human is the ability to think and ponder and the ability to negotiate with people.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your luck rate with CMC airdrops on: November 09, 2021, 03:32:07 AM
I just find out that it's not easy to win going coinomi airdrops, I've participated in 10 different airdrops and never get paid at all so when I rechecked I always see like only 1000 people selected out of 300k or more, why airdrop in the first place when only few people will be selected ?
I used to participate in different airdrops and the thing is that I have never been whitelisted too. Airdrops take so much time as you have to find it first, and then compete a plenty of tasks such as subscription, retweets etc and it is not guaranteed that you will win, chances are so small.

Eventually, I decided to switch to bounties and ambassador campaigns as they don't require capital and you are to invest your time, but you are more likely to get profit.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What project can replicate Solana's success? on: November 09, 2021, 03:26:57 AM
I think that the next Solana will be Avalanche. It desires to develop as rapidly as possible. For this purpose, Avalanche launched a $200 million fund Blizzard that will be used to accelerate development, growth and innovation in the ecosystem. The Avalanche foundation will focus on four main areas in the Avalanche ecosystem: DeFi, enterprise applications, NFT and the cultural sphere.

Well-known funds have contributed to the Blizzard fund: Polychain Capital, Three Arrows Capital, Dragonfly Capital, CMS Holdings and others. So there are a lot of partners who are also interested in this project.

107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: November 06, 2021, 04:36:54 PM
As information from CZ: 1.2 billion dollars BNB is transferred in 1 second, which takes less than 2 cents

On June 26, about $ 1.2 billion Binance Coin (BNB) was transferred in 1.1 seconds, for a fee of only $ 0.015 on Binance Chain, disclosures of this data were published on WhaleAlert , a platform that tracks important transactions. The exact amount of BNB transferred is 32,888,888. As a Twitter user pointed out, 8 is a number unlike anyone in Chinese arithmetic, quoting Wikipedia: "Number 8 is considered a good number that even some 8s are considered is very lucky ".

With such successes do you think BNB will become the All coin king?

The problem of high gas fees on Ethereum is still urgent. This big price for running transactions is not acceptable for investors with small capitals and for micro-transactions, so people have to choose something cheaper and faster. BNB is a good choice as the transaction fee is less than 1$ and the ecosystem is quite big, so we can find projects for all needs.

So until the problem of Ethereum’s scalability is unsolved, BNB is the king. Roll Eyes
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance owns 82.69% of BNB on: November 03, 2021, 06:43:44 PM
Everyone knows that BNB is centralised as well as Binance Smart Chain. But people put up with that as if we look at the average crypto participant, we will see that he doesn't care a lot about centralisation and privacy, he just wants to make money on crypto.

Some crypto enthusiasts really worry about decentralisation, so they don't use BNB or Tether but the majority choose something that is more convenient.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of bull run so we sell everything? on: November 01, 2021, 08:56:59 PM
Actually, all altcoins follow Bitcoin's movements, so I don't think that either Ripple or Vet is likely to grow on a bear market. Your decision about selling or not is up to your strategy. If you are a long-term holder you are supposed not to sell. But actually it will give you a big profit if you manage to catch a moment of a peak and of a full dip then but  it is very hard.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized Minting vs Staking vs Trading vs Hodling on: October 27, 2021, 09:23:13 PM
As far as long-term plays go, what's your style? That allows you to beat the APY of the general stock market?

My portfolio is: 25% Minting, 50% hodling fundamentals, and 25% trading. Not sure if I could be doing better, but coming out with 30-35% annual returns

Everybody chooses a strategy according to their tolerance to risk and capital. If you have a big capital, you can just hodl or deposit in a reliable liquidity mining pool or yield farming pair and you will get a big profit just thanks to big capacity.

But if your capital is small for the time being, you are to invest your time and be involved in something more risky such as trading or participating in ICOs, IDO etc.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin > Gold on: October 22, 2021, 03:49:36 AM
Hey guys!

I am making this post to start the discussion of Bitcoin vs gold, I know that this topic has been discussed in different threads, but I have a different approach of this topic. I want to get the opinion of the people that think gold is superior so I can see the other side of the argument.

I believe that Bitcoin is superior to gold, they're both assets, but not the same kind of asset. Gold is physical in the sense that a government or large entity can take it away from you, without your knowledge, and without needing your permission. Bitcoin combats this, a Bitcoin wallet doesn't need a SSN, ID, and other identification to own. Anyone in the world has the right to own Bitcoin, but the same can't be said about gold. People also argue that gold is a safer asset because it can be insured. I second this, insurance needs identification, which adds a second layer of binding your assets to your data, meaning that multiple people know exactly who owns that gold and how much its worth, that leaves room for corruption inside of banks allowing an evil third party to be notified who owns large investments that could be stolen/robbed. Bitcoin, as long as you have an anonymous wallet, doesn't have this issue. So long as you mix your coins before you sell them peer to peer or at an exchange, your identity for the most part is safe. Along with that, you can store Bitcoin in cold storage for decades with no apparent owner, so that they can be accessed later without legal trouble arising because of someone claiming that the investments are theirs.

Thanks for reading, what do you think about the Bitcoin vs Gold debate?
I agree about everything you have said. Actually, it is much wiser to invest in Bitcoin than in Gold I think. It is easier to store Bitcoin as well as it is more liquid and has a less spread (between the price of buying and selling) than Gold (if we are talking about physical gold that requires special conditions to be stored and is more difficult to be sold fastly).
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tether and BTC's current price on: October 22, 2021, 03:43:34 AM
BTCCorrect me if I'm wrong, but in my understanding, Tether (USDT) is kinda like a digital dollar, but in reality, it is not backed by the federal reserve, but it functions as if it was as it can be issued regardless of any protocol restrictions. In 2017, rumours spread around the community saying Bitfinex was issueing Tether like if there was no tomorrow. So, my question here is, how is the issuance of USDT is managed and controlled and could someone "print" a lot of Tether out of thin Air and use it to inflate Bitcoin's price?

Actually, the company itself can print as many Tethers as it wants as it is not limited like Bitcoin that can't superpass 21 million. But they claim that they print coins when they receive new collateral for their "digital dollar". To control if company is honest, there are audits that check different documents and collateral itself and according to official information, Bitfinex has necessary sum of money.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MEME coins are good to invest? on: October 22, 2021, 03:37:53 AM
I don't think that meme coins are likely to pump again. There were many meme coins when there was a hype in spring, but now I don't think that it is reasonable to launch one more. Vitalik Buterin has sold his meme coins again. He sold Aidi Inu, Small Doge, Jejudoge, Baby shiba etc for the sum of 4.3 million of dollars, so I think that it is bad time for meme coins now.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hodl or change? on: October 22, 2021, 03:30:54 AM
Hello,
If someone bought the Dogecoin at the highest price, then it is better to wait or change it to other cryptos and make money by exchanges and swap?
Any idea welcomed.

Thank you.
If you bought on the level of 7$ I am really sorry about this, as it is a big loss. As for now, I think you had better sell them. I don't think that it will be a new big hype around meme coins like it was in spring, so I don't think that price will come back to 7$. What is more, Vitalik Buterin has cleaned his wallet from different meme (doggy) coins recently, so it is an additional pressure on their price.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask - Wallet or Account? on: October 20, 2021, 03:03:35 AM
Hey guys
would in a potential Airdrop from Metamask the Account 1 receive the tokens where it was swapped or the Wallet?
So if I've a wallet and made 5 swaps with 5 different Accs would I be still eligable for the drop with the 5 Accs or just once for the entire wallet?

And if someone is using his trezor/ledger with Metamask will he be eligable too?

Thank you!

Basically, every account has its own address, it means that if you used different accounts, you might get airdrop on all of them. Metamask is a wallet where you can make up several accounts for using. This way you can use one account to different airdrops and risky things, and one more account for more serious work and store more money on it.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can Cardano achieve $ 5 ? on: October 14, 2021, 02:53:28 AM
The Cardano price is forecasted to reach $2.89801 by the beginning of October 2021. The expected maximum price is $3.62251, minimum price $2.46331. The Cardano price prediction for the end of the month is $2.89801, after the Alonzo Fork. But what will make it achieve $ 5 and when will it happen? Will Cardano position itself to replace Ethereum and tackle the issue of huge gas fees?  Huh

As for me Cardano is very Undervalued Compared to Ethereum. The research report published by Grayscale shows how the fundamentals of this cryptocurrency have improved over the past year.
Cardano launched the smart contracts feature with the Alonzo update this year, making it is easier for decentralized applications to launch and develop.
According to the report, Cardano currently calculates a larger payment amount per unit of market capitalization than its competitors (Ethereum and Polkadot), which suggests that the asset may be undervalued.
Cardano is already catching up with mainstream networks. In Bitcoin's network total BTC payment value is 3,1 trillion dollar, in Ethereum-2,8 and in Cardano 1,67!
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you quit Bitcoin if a shitcoin like Ethereum surpassed it? on: October 13, 2021, 03:55:26 AM
You are wrong calling Ethereum shitcoin. It is the number two on the crypto market and can rightfully be called a mainstream cryptocurrency. Without it, it will be too boring on crypto market, as Bitcoin doesn't support different smart-contracts and it means no defi-projects or other tokens apart from Bitcoin and its forks. What is more, Ethereum is developing now as opposed to Bitcoin, so I will not be surprised if it surpasses Bitcoin one day.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Withdraw BTC Network? on: October 13, 2021, 03:45:44 AM
So I will most likely convert my altcoin to btc and then withdraw btc and pay the 0.005 btc fee.

I notice when i go to the withdraw network... how come there are multiple btc network?  I thought it was only one?

I see

BNB Binance

BSC

BTC

ETH

Can someone explain how can someone withdraw btc with the other three options?  I have a nano ledger s.

Actually, we can also use Bitcoin on Binance Smart Chains, Tron, Ethereum etc, but it will be wrapped. It means that real Bitcoins are locked on Bitcoin blockchain and then a certificate appear on other chain. You are to use bridges to convert coins from one chain to another. But don't confuse chains as if you send wrapped Bitcoin (for example ERC) to chain other than Ethereum, you will lose them.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge Lumens : The Ultimate Doge Standard on: October 13, 2021, 03:37:09 AM
Based on its name that contains the word Doge I can make a conclusion that it is one more meme coin. There is a mound of them, so I don't think that crypto market needs one more of them.  If somewhere is hype, only coins that were initially in it are likely to be successful, moreover, meme coins' hype is almost over. And all meme coins will die out when Elom Musk cease advertising them.
