I doubt that it will replace ETH as ETH is a prime mover in the crypto sphere. So that will not be the first point of ADA, let is run and let investors find its way to them, not as competitor to ETH but as a project can become an alternative to the issues of ETH.

As far as the price achieving $5, just like what the devs behind are doing, continue to improve the project itself, release every iteration and better the previous one and then maybe investors will suddenly pour their money on them pushing the price in upward trajectory at the end of this year and the next coming years. It should be step by step and not rush thing to get tot $5.

Prior to Cardano, perhaps Solana would have been more appropriate to replace Ethereum in terms of GAS fees and with their fairly successful project building Solana to a level that was much more noticed by big investors. I saw after ADA created its own network and so far no significant development has been seen in the period after opening. In fact, the price is quite far from the price before they launched the private network. Meanwhile, Solana is already ahead of ADA in terms of development.

Ethereum is a Decentralized platform and it's better than ADA, I can't compare the two in detail, but if you ask the price? then each coin can be pumped and Hype will push the price of the coin to reach new ATH.
You can see other Dapps like Tron which have been doing well for years, but the price is still under $1 and ADA is currently with a large supply going up fast, let's wait for the cardano team to do the Alonso Fork and don't forget to keep an eye on the prices Ethereum, because Ethereum is currently the King of altcoins it will have a limited supply and it will increase the price of the ethereum coin.

It always need a patience because we can’t go up all the time and still we depend to Bitcoin so if there’s no price update with Bitcoin and if there’s no bullish signal then we can’t go up to that level. ADA is a good project, $5 is really attainable in the right time so have your patience always and wait for future updates of ADA.

Most people are expecting a lot from ADA because of the smart contracts and all that, which is good in a way, as humans anticipate good things, but it is also very important to know that, things can work sideways especially in this crypto space. The smart contracts is yet to be tested and this is what will determine how far the ADA coin will get to, and so far it is yet to be tested a lot of people will have their reservations just to be on the safer side.
However to answer some of the questions, no expert will tell you when ADA will get to $5, you can only invest, think long term and watch it actualize. Secondly, no matter what ADA team offers and work on, it will hardly position itself to overtake Ethereum. It will reach $5 caused by the adoption. These days the adoption rate for the ADA smartcontract was not so high compared with another blockchain like BSC. The daily transaction is still less compared with the BSC.
None knows about when ADA will reach $5 and only the time will tell us.

I will not. There's no reason for ADA to replace ethereum. i do believe that if these platforms will be co-exist instead of replacing one and each other. The competition was very strict but there's no way for new platform to destroy the old one. So many old stories about this happened in the past but the result will always be the same if ethereum will become the big crypto .

ETH is still the top, this is the reality and even if ADA hits $5 it wont still replace ETH. We need to hear good updates, a strong one for Cardano to reach such price and it may take time for sure. Also, if there’s no bull market we can’t have that one even a strong project can’t go that much if we’re on a bear trend.

Consider it as a supplement rather than a replacement, as both of them are performing admirably at the moment.

Many projects are being developed in ERC20, and development in ADA is still ongoing, so both are moving forward at the moment, and developers are doing their best to make these coins and their blockchain more beneficial for users. Thats a big challenge to them but Im gonna bet my money it wouldnt happened. Ethereum is build and famous among cryptocurrency community. Beating it is like needing the support of everyone using it, so do you think it can be done easily? As far as we know cardano still have problem with their net integration, and its not gonna be an easy task to atrract users of eth to migrate to cardano just like that.

I believe that number is possible for Cardano (Ada) too, ADA got a high market cap now but there are new competitors that keep popping. And not only Cardano experience this, but also Ethereum. Which is a smart contract platform too.
This kind of huge percentage increase can be achievable, but we should also consider Bitcoin because most of the high market cap coins now are following Bitcoin, so I once Bitcoin will create a new all-time-high I believe the $5 for ADA is achievable.

Since it got its rank up base on its cap, ADA has more to offer than any project out there. However, the price dips after this Alonzo update. Looks pretty normal to me since the market is just overbloated.

It may take weeks before jumping up again. Traders are more confident now that they have gathered a lot of ADA and maintains it on the exchange so they could accumulate more of it. They will not stake but just accumulate ADA through trading thinking its market is very predictable.

Cardano is waxing strong. It has the attributes that can make its value grow even higher. At Coinmarketcap, Cardano price is $2.25 as at 20/09/2021. Cardano blockchain have some similarity to that of Ethereum such as -the ability to establish smart contracts as well as DApps, etc. Though, Cardano is new in terms of having smart contracts and DApps in its blockchain when compared to Etheruem, it has some advantages over Ethereum. Proof-of-Stake has some advantages over Proof-of-Work.

Ethereum is working towards being Proof-of-Stake (Project: Ethereum: 2.0), but Cardano is alreeady Proof-of-Stake. The comparison is necessary so that we can see the potentials of Cardano growing. I think Cardano can make it to $5 in about one year from now - hopefully if more DApps and Smart Contracts are built on its blockchain.

cardano is a good coin and having a great year this 2021 but expecting a much bigger price will be depending on how this market reacts because Bitcoin is still the deciding factor.
there might be opportunity because of Ethereum high fee that people will convert using ADA instead but the thing is the support for ethereum specially new project is indeed still upgrading and now that NFP is also taking close to ETH network.
so I think if there is highest ADA can reach this year is 3$ and that 5$ target will take another years to achieved .
