101  Other / Archival / Re: Why bitcoin will never die in two words on: March 20, 2016, 04:53:32 PM
Greedy gambler

(Seriously, how many people has been falling on "investment" site a.k.a ponzi)

not only because of ponzi, but because of games like dice and other gambling games for bitcoin, sport bets and so on

but black markets are really important too because they use bitcoin mostly, so bitcoin should be alive for next 50  years atleast
102  Economy / Speculation / Re: should i go 50/50 with gold and bitcoin? on: March 20, 2016, 11:51:25 AM
at the moment i have 30 btc now i could sell in the highs and buy gold leaving me with 15 btc.

im starting to think btc wont survive long due being entirely digital the thing could be abandoned or worse internet might go down what you guys think i would look pretty stupid buying something you cant see or hold im torn to shreds right now.

ive listened to max keiser and proffs that bitcoin could be worth tens of thousends i think its the most sensible thing to do "dont put eggs in one basket" on all...

it draws a fine line... i.e. all that electricity to "mine" bitcoins pushing hardware to the max and with exchanges like crypsty and cexio mucking me around i just dont see the future help me realise this what should i do?

no you shouldn't, you should go like 75% with bitcoin and 25% with gold because gold is stable while bitcoin isn't so with bitcoin you can win much more money then you could win from gold, also it have larger risk but you probably won't lose money with bitcoin
103  Economy / Speculation / Re: What moves bitcoin price? on: March 20, 2016, 11:47:13 AM
For stock exchanges, situations like what happened in Paris with the terrorism attack, means changes in the prices of the stocks, but due to bitcoin is kind of different, for you, what do you have to be in mind when you speculate about the price? I mean, what type of news or kind of doings, you have to keep in your mind to get winner in the bitcoin transactions?

One word - China. Since the day one, Chinese users move the price.
Also, I expect this upcoming block halving to move the price up, big time. However, we still have a few months until this kicks in.

oh yes, china is very important for bitcoin since day one, also supply and demand changes that, random pumps and dumps does that too

also good and bad news for bitcoins changes it like creating a massive panic wave or things like halving now, it will change price too
104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pumping phase active now, Dumping phase to come on: March 20, 2016, 11:42:47 AM
Beware of the Pump&Dupm happening right now. Don't get suckered in. Price will drop faster than it's going up. If you buy now, you will be a foolish bag-holder later on.

dumping ended now, back to 400$, that wasn't a huge pump and dump anyway, another pump should start soon

also why you say "don't get suckered it"? i know that some people wins extra money from pumps and dumps,i guess just some loses money for it
105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bad time to go long on: March 20, 2016, 11:36:40 AM
As I'm posting this, Ethereum is still going through one of the greatest speculative bubbles any altcoin has ever experienced and in the meantime BTC/USD's volume is down while the price is rising.

People said the start of the year would be a safe time to buy because of the upcoming halving but that was too early, and it's still is. 420 is still above support and there's no guarantee that the coming of the halving is going to secure the price in the meantime, especially with the interest of speculators currently shifted onto Ethereum's bubble at large. You're never too safe with bitcoin.

yes etherium is rising now, but i don't think that we should stop focusing in bitcoin i mean etherium may rise now but who knows that it will rise in near future too?

while bitcoin will rise because of halving so we can be almost sure that price will rise
106  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price settling at $420. on: March 20, 2016, 11:29:53 AM
BTC/USD seems to be stabilised at around $420-$430.

Thoughts and predictions where it's going to next?

no it won't stay here for long, it's falling now, and will stay at 400$ for now, i don't think that is horrible thing to be honest, in this month we had lots of pumps and dumps already but that's okay for bitcoin since we will always have sellers so bitcoin won't fall too much
107  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell all stocks, buy Bitcoin or Gold on: March 20, 2016, 11:20:19 AM
Buying bitcoin and gold is the smart move to make as both have a great future ahead, and we can expect much higher price in future, stocks is history, use bitcoin.

yeah they have great future just i would go like 65% with bitcoin and rest of gold because of block halving, i hope that it will rise price by 150 $ or even more while gold is pretty stable compared to bitcoin, it's less risky but bitcoin can bring much more money than gold
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: March 20, 2016, 11:09:13 AM
Is gambling OK? Don't bet it! There's not an easy or instantly obvious proof text answer to that question.

well bible didn't say that it is a sin so it's not i think, it's just a hobby, it brings you money sometimes or you lose money

if gambling is a sin then any sport is a sin too, because you spend money for it, it's a hobby and you can get money from it, but sport isn't a sin so gambling isn't too
109  Economy / Speculation / Re: Falling under 300 again on: March 18, 2016, 06:46:43 PM
Sad days again in bitcoin land... full bear mode enabled.
We will be dropping under 300 within te next 12 hours.

no idea why it should fall under 300, and within 12 hours, while it's 400$ at this moment, price falls down, yes, but that's just pump and dump, nothing to worry about

but if somehow it would fall below 300$ then it would be awesome buy time for everyone
110  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm All In - Sold My Dogs & My Car! on: March 18, 2016, 06:35:00 PM
Sold my 1 labrador, 3 huskies and 2 shepherds for $4000 usd and my Audi for $14000 bought at $350 doller wish my luck!!!!!

that it is very risky, personally, i wouldn't ever sell my dogs, maybe car but not dogs for sure, also that is very very risky thing because bitcoin is very unstable, this means yes, you can win extra money, but did you thought about what would happen if price would fall down?
111  Economy / Speculation / Re: Microsoft Store No Longer Accepts Bitcoin on: March 18, 2016, 06:28:05 PM
Oh, I don't believe this  Angry
Is it really true?

it was a mistake by microsoft, they have apologized for this https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/microsoft-apologizes-bitcoin-still-accepted/

yes they apologized for that, but it allready created a panic that made price lower by 20$

but anyway that wouldn't be horrible thing as sites like purse.io still would work, also i heard that steam have plans to add bitcoin to their payment ways, so price should rise little bit because of that
112  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise? on: March 18, 2016, 06:21:24 PM
Should I sell my BTC or wait till it goes up and why do you think it will go up?

you can sell them now only if you need money, but if you don't need them asap then save them for later, atleast till halving, then price will rise so you could sell for much larger price

also if you like bitcoin and will sell all of your bitcoins, you will make price even lower, and low price is bad for bitcoin
113  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you see bitcoin in 10 years on: March 18, 2016, 06:16:58 PM
I see it ran by a bank, What do you think?

i think that it will be in every country, even ones like russia or south korea, every person will use them,  so there might even be a bitcoins bank

also i hope that it will be main alternative currency in whole world, not main but atleast alternative, and of course it's price will be larger than now
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker strategy! on: March 18, 2016, 12:29:40 PM
I love playing poker and I mught say that I consider myself a good player. I usualy have my own strategy which is mainly to play very agressive.

So, what are your main strategy when playing Poker?

i usually try to play very safe, no risk if possible, but when i get awesome hand like AA i of course, play agresive, sometimes if needed  i bluff, and sometimes i have no strategy at all and  i just hope for best, hope that luck will stay with me 1 more hand
115  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How do I find bitcoin accepted ebay sellers? on: March 18, 2016, 12:27:05 PM
Huh thanks everyone

i don't think that there is any way to pay with bitcoins in ebay, but you can try to write personal message to seller and ask if they accept bitcoins, or try to write b1tc0in in search or so, you might be lucky and find something, or you always can sell your bitcoins for money and then buy something from ebay
116  Economy / Goods / Re: Any interest in cupcakes for bitcoin? on: March 18, 2016, 12:24:00 PM
I think its possible with cupcakes but only locally, it can never shipped for a long time and its also the point if people need a lot of cupcakes at once, its gonna be difficult but its possible.
If you work this idea out it can work but you need a good plan for this because you also need someone that can ship the cupcakes to nearby houses etc.

that's the point, even if they would live and bake these cupcakes in America, they could ship them to their state only, because they can't ship cupcakes for more than week i think because it would be ugly, but yeah i also think that this idea could work
117  Economy / Gambling / Re: try your chess skills for bitcoin on: March 17, 2016, 03:17:57 PM
Chess for bitcoins? Isn't Chess a little too exploitable as a game? I mean you could just have pretty strong Chess program running in the background and just copy moves from it.

that's the point, soon someone would create a bot that plays games for them, even with huge bets, and they would usually win, so it would be really unfair

and on the other hand, brain sport like chess is awesome idea, i would play it same as i do with bitcoin poker because i like skill based games more than luck based ones
118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: March 17, 2016, 03:14:41 PM
How does one Put down Gambling for good?

just don't think about that, i know that it's not easy, it is very hard thing to do, but if you will think about gambling again and again, you won't stop doing that, also if you will tell that to your family or friends they will help you to keep minds off gambling, hope that this will help
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: March 17, 2016, 03:12:06 PM
Any sites you recommend?
Strategy?

well depends how much you're ready to spend on gambling, if a lot then you can win lots of money too, if you want to gamble with 1$ only then you probably won't win 1000$ fast with that, and  i know just 1 strategy on dice games, double on loss and back to start after win, don't bet lots of money
120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling or offline gambling at a casino ? on: March 17, 2016, 03:08:06 PM
Online gambling or offline gambling at a casino ? Or online live gambling ?? Which do you prefer and why ?
Personally i really should stay away from gambling unless im the house xP and to me offline gambling
seems the most dangerous and risky.

i like real life gambling most, at casinos, when playing game like poker, i can see how everyone react and so, you can't see that in online casino

and for game like dices, i like online casinos more, because you probably won't see dice game in real life casino, and in online one it's really easy to gamble
