101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: March 11, 2016, 09:50:16 PM
Yes I think ETH is a good bet as of now. Thought I am not moving my BTC to ETH, but I have started moving my Litecoin and other altcoins funds like, doge, BLK and REDD to ETH.

Still I am trying to buy ETH at $8 - $9.5 level and selling it for DASH as it is also looks promising.

I am a miner, so I will mine the Ethereum and keep most of the Ethereum. I will sell some Ethereum to change into bitcoin.
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank??? on: March 09, 2016, 09:30:42 AM
i think it will never .
why ? because bitcoin say . nobody control your BTC and there is no fee . so if bitcoin had bank it will had fee and somebody will control it .

Banks not only charge fees - they also provide interest. This is one reason why people might be tempted to give their bitcoins to banks.
On control - I agree that we will be losing control if you give your coins to a bank. It is up to you to decide whether the interest offered is sufficient for the loss of control.

If a bank provides a service I want, I do not mind them charging me a fee. If there is no bank, I cannot borrow money.
103  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What's going on at Poloniex? on: March 09, 2016, 09:29:24 AM
Never had any issues with them.So far, they ve been one of the most professional crypto exchanges I ve ever seen.

I have used Mintpal, CryptoRush, Cryptsy and Circuex. They all had porblems. I hope Poloniex will be an exception.

It's weekend and they is a problem with the transaction, in the whole network. So there is no real problem. I had 2 deposits (BTC/Stellar) and not problem.
Yesterday my withdrawals also went through.

So far, Polonies is a good exchange. The volume there is also very big. I hope they can use the fees earned to boost the security.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: March 09, 2016, 09:28:03 AM
The Ethereum price has droped from 0.031 to 0.021, that is about 30% drop. Last time, during the correction, the price dropped from 0.017 to 0.008. We may have more to drop.

i doubt it will drop under 0.015, and in any case it is still profitable to mine, around 0.01 or a bit more per card

If the price is above $3 and the difficulty does not rise. It is still profitable to mine. But the profit is marginal.
Now is the time to mine, I can see people kicking themselves in a few months for not taking the time to get it all set up

There is risk in building the new rigs. If you build the new rig and the difficulty rise and the price drop, you cannot mine at more.
105  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptsy Hacker identity incoming - pending bounty on: March 09, 2016, 09:25:45 AM
Yeah you would think that anyone working for or connected to cryptsy would want to give us as much information as possible if they were really hacked. Then again, they waited a year and a half to tell us there was a hack to begin with.

I think unless BigVern is trialled in a court of justice, we will never know the truth. He could be involved in the theft.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: March 09, 2016, 09:22:18 AM
Just been over on Poloniex and there's a MASSIVE buy wall ETH/BTC hitting Ethereum tonight. Buy while your still can.
I bought 2.5 ETH's @4am. right as the price came out of the dip @ 0.022 BTC, now @ 0.025 BTC.
I'll see if it holds... doing better than getting sucked out in 2 micro tourneys @ Betcoin LOL...

That could be a good purchase if you look back in 20 years. The price of Ethereum could be the same as bitcoin then.

We need the block size to be increased soon. The block size is not enough to handle all the transactions.

He has a wife doesn't he ?
Maybe we can ask her about her Husband, she might know a thing or two about him
And maybe we can get a clue on where to go next Smiley
Him against thousands of craptsy users, we can get him if we try Smiley

His wife is suing him for property. BigVern fled to China with his girl friend. So his wife does not know his situation.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: March 04, 2016, 02:43:45 PM
It appears that ETH chart is about to print another green bar on the daily.  Looks like wise people are putting their BTC in to Ethereum right now.

If it breaks the 0.024, we can say that. But now, we will have to wait. The price of bitcoin did not drop in Dollars.
111  Other / Archival / Re: Should we sell btc? on: March 04, 2016, 02:39:23 PM
I don't think right now is the perfect time to sell our bitcoins. My gut says the price will go up to 550 or maybe even higher.
The loss of selling now would be unbearable.
I guess you're right, wait for the price to $ 550 is the right time to sell bitcoin, because if you sell now you're just going to get a slight advantage

The price will rise a lot in the next several months due to the halving effect. So it is better to keep the coins.
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank??? on: March 02, 2016, 06:17:18 PM
I really had a dream to create a website bitcoin bank. where my site is like a wallet. but I would have control of the money. so that I can give a loan to someone who borrows money in my bank. the same system as banks in general

Would that be like mult signature features of bitcoin. Only the site operator and the save can manipulate the money?
113  Other / Archival / Re: Should we sell btc? on: March 02, 2016, 06:14:43 PM
bitcoin I guess if you sell now, you have nothing to lose, bitcoin prices currently riding and stable, so you'll be lucky, but if you wait a little longer price would probably be higher

Each person makes his own choice on whether he will sell or not. There are plenty of reasons why people may sell their coins. One may sell his coins because he has bills to pay. And another person simply made a profit and wants to cash out. I personally don't care that much what people do. I advice all people to hold, but if they want to sell, then it's their choice. It's a free market.

Most people who wanted to sell larger amounts have done it already now, we've had over 2 years since the china bubble.  Mostly everyone left now is the people who are in it for longer.  Selling now is pointless the price is somewhere around stable/the bottom.

I also think so. But there are still some whales who come to collect the bitcoin and they will pump and dump the bitcoin.
114  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term OIL on: February 29, 2016, 07:17:47 PM
With batteries orders of magnitude better than we have today you could almost buy the car and throw it away when the battery is depleated  Cheesy

But the electrical car is still more expensive than the petrol car without help from the governments. I think it is unfair.
115  Other / Archival / Re: Should we sell btc? on: February 29, 2016, 07:16:21 PM
I think it is better not to sell bitcoin. It will rise in long term. I hold most of my coins to wait for the price rise.
116  Economy / Speculation / Re: Falling under 300 again on: February 29, 2016, 07:15:19 PM
this time the price down to $ 415. may soon be down to $ 400, but I do not think much. if bitcoin will fall to $ 300

Yeah that is true,, the dip haven't even push the $350 so it is really far from happening now that bitcoin would dip at $300 or lower...

I think the $350 will be the long term bottom of the bitcoin price. It is close to the cost of the mining now.
That will not happen around this time. That isnt even possible to happen. You can see now that the value is higher.
Why are you so negative, that is not good. The price is now even rising slowly and that is good for the people who made an investment in Bitcoin.

You misunderstand him. He said the $350 will be the bottom. The price will not go below $350 in the future.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank??? on: February 29, 2016, 07:12:34 PM
bitcoin bank is quite possible. but we should be able to trust who manage it. with bitcoin bank system and we saved all there service provider (bank).

I hope all the banks will deal with bitcoin soon. If they are regulated and insured, I will save my bitcoin there.
118  Other / Archival / Re: Should we sell btc? on: February 27, 2016, 08:36:23 PM
I guess if you buy it when the price of bitcoin is still $ 300 and above, then you may gain if sold now, because now it can be argued bitcoin prices higher than in January were anaesthetized

It is better not to sell bitcoin. It is better to save the bitcoin for the long term. Its price will rise in long term.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: February 27, 2016, 08:35:23 PM
Got 16 Rigs with 6 GPU's with windows 7. Works perfectly.

Works even better on Windows 10.

How did you manage that? What drivers?

I have the same question. There are many reports that Windows 10 is bad for mining Ethereum.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank??? on: February 27, 2016, 08:34:05 PM
i think someday we need bitcoin bank for put Loan, or for control our bitcoin, because sometimes we forget password of our wallet  Roll Eyes

I think that is your own responsibility, I think a bank will destroy the bitcoin itself the bitcoin has been created for controlling your own money and not let anyone else do it.
I even think a bank is very bad because it will also destroy the traceable part.

With bitcoin, banking with bitcoin is just an option. It is not a must. You have the freedom to keep your bitcoin.
