101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap.com currency price in dollars how in fact it is calculated? on: March 23, 2018, 07:07:13 PM
The price differences are mostly caused by the volumina on exchangers. If you want to do a meaningful comparing, take the bids and asks on the exchangers. The last trades are shown on exchangers. I use coinmarketcap for an overview and Blockfolio for comparing bids and asks on the exchangers for my arbitrage trading.
102  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia Exchange Failed Login Attempt on: March 22, 2018, 07:59:20 PM
Now I also believe, that cryptopia database was hacked, but not the passwords. I wouldn't suggest to trade with large amounts there actually as also the support seems to have delays and more and more complaints against cryptopia are posted. I hope, they will soon return to their old great service.
103  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is yobit.net a scam site or not? on: March 21, 2018, 08:26:39 PM
It is very easy to get new coins/ICO on yobit listed. So they have many currencies, also shitcoins. It is difficult to update all wallets of each cryptocurrency, especially with a small support team.
So support seems to be very slow, you could have difficulties in withdrawals and deposits of exotic coins and you could lose your funds with pumped/dumped coins (many shady pumpers/dumpers and coin devs are on yobit around, but I saw briefly, that yobit banned dev, after he scammed users by pumping dumping his own coin).

Knowing the weak sites and advantages of yobit, I had no issues, because I only deposit/withdraw cryptocurrencies, which have no need for frequent updates and are transfered by stable network.

I trade only small funds on yobit as on all exchangers, I use. Until now yobit didn't disappoint me and trading/withdrawals/deposits went smooth. But that can change anytime.
Yobit is in my opinion much better than Bittrex, who suddenly changed their ID conditions and didn't pay back funds to customers without ID-verification.
104  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best cloud mining platform on: March 21, 2018, 08:05:18 PM
Hi guys!
Perhaps I was looking bad but I didn't find the right topic.
What would you recommend for cloud mining? I have heard positive reviews about Rockwall.Investments that they are solvent and can be earned. Have you used? Any opinions?
Thanks for your answers  Smiley

1. Rockwell Investments uses a service, that covers their address, name and contact data, as you can see on these links:
Whois: https://www.whois.com/whois/rockwall.investments
Privacyprotect: http://www.privacyprotect.org/about-us/
So they want your money, but want to stay anonymous. I would assume it as scam.
2. No cloudminer is profitable in my opinion, least of all in shortterm. 99.999999% are even scam.
But you could try eobot.com just for fun and use their faucet. It is most likley also not profitable but has an informative interface and you see the mining data. You can also point your mining hardware to their pool.
But I also would only invest there only very small amounts.
105  Economy / Exchanges / Re: exchanges btc fee too much. sad life on: March 20, 2018, 08:34:08 PM
how to withdraw btc with the lowest fee possible in exchanges?

If you want to withdraw to another exchanger or to your wallet then just exchange your Bitcoin to another cryptocurrency (not to volatile one) with cheap, stable and quick network. I prefer dogecoin therefore and send them to your currency wallet (f.e  dogecoin). From there send your coins to the service. (It is not recommended to send funds directly from exchanger exchanger to exchanger), where withdraw fees are cheaper. Then convert back your coins to BTC  and withdraw them.
Here is an awesome thread with withdrawal fee listings on exchangers
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2991183.0
I only wouldn't recommend shapeshift for your matter, because exchange rates are not the best there.
106  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex displays incorrect balance. on: March 20, 2018, 08:22:05 PM
I saw my balance was 50 btc with one 3 btc stratis buy order, total with 53 btc, but when I cancelled my 3 btc buy order, I saw my balance shows 53 btc, after that, I refreshed my page, it showed 50 btc again, and my 3 btc is missing, please help me and audit my account balance, thanks.

Do you suffer such issues before? I just sent a ticket for further audit my account.
Poloniex had already a problem like you described.
https://mobile.twitter.com/poloniex/status/953706749625798657?lang=de
So you should send them a support ticket with screenshots and their twitter link (for the case, that they forgot their issue)
107  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia Exchange Failed Login Attempt on: March 20, 2018, 08:12:57 PM
I had the same failed login attempts the same days as you with the the first IP and another one. Yes, maybe it is from a faucet as I also had failed login attempts on another service (faucet). Fortunately I am not anymore lazy to use same password for different services or passwordmanager, that doesn't work anymore, when phone is broken.
Anyway, I blocked my account to avoid more tries. Changed also my email password earlier as usual.
But the passwords seem not to be hacked, because login attempt failed, or did I get that wrong?
108  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Jaxx Wallet and Bitcoin Wallet Security Issues on: March 18, 2018, 05:36:45 AM
The developer has other wallets which have had their fair share of warnings about vulnerabilities. Their Rushwallet will soon be disabled

https://rushwallet.com

KryptoKit is their Chrome extension wallet. What's bad about it is the mining fee. It's a static 0.0002 BTC and you can't adjust or change it based on network congestion levels.

A shame their wallets are riddled with vulnerabilities and security issues. I like Jaxx's Shapeshift exchange feature incorporated within the wallet. Allows one to seamlessly convert cryptos. Haven't tried it yet but I wish other wallets had the same feature.
You can use shapeshift also on Coinomi, no need to risk your funds because of this feature. Coinomi has also a second exchanger, Changelly, but I wouldn't recommend it, because you don't see the exchange rates, you will get. What you see at the order and what you get, differs significantly. So better stay at Shapeshift.
.
To the OP:.
Many thanks for warning.
109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage websites? on: March 17, 2018, 11:15:19 PM
I mostly use coinmarketcap and click on markets:
Example Dogecoin

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dogecoin/#markets
You can sort the coins by sources, volume, prices and currencies and have a good view for all related exchangers.
I also use Blockfolio app (for android) and put the currencies at different exchangers in one list. So also bids and asks can be compared with one click.
110  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Open support issue with poloniex since june on: March 17, 2018, 10:58:07 PM
They usually take 3 day for a ticket. If too long I think u should make many ticket as you can. When poloniex still have trollbox I always make new account and spam in there. Is it open again?

That will certainly help, I hope you're trolling.

trolling is so last  year. I still can't get a hold of polo. Any other ideas. Also the user that wanted to help, i'm ready!
Poloniex announced a new partnership with Circle.
https://poloniex.com/press-releases/2018.02.26-Poloniex-joins-Circle/
I don't know this company, but maybe you could try another support ticket and blame them on social channels. I think they want to expand and bad publicity would be the last they need right now. I was pretty surprised lately about a quick response to a support request.
Else you only have the legal way against them. Maybe you know an attourney, who writes for you a letter for cheap. Sometimes this helps
111  Economy / Exchanges / Re: YoBit withdrawals "cancelled" on: March 17, 2018, 10:45:56 PM
He's not the only one that operates the exchange itself and only him being arrested won't be enough to confiscate the exchange fund.
It may not be enough right now, but the authorities are catching up rapidly, and I strongly believe that it is just a matter of time before Yobit goes down for ever, where it maybe gets relaunched in a way BTC-E did it.

Yobit is an utter shitcoin exchange, and one that doesn't own any licenses to even be allowed to operate an exchange. In the same way we'll be seeing a global attack on these exchanges, and I can't wait for it to happen.

This market has been infested with these parasites for long enough now, and it's time to stop. If people want to play Russian roulette with their crypto assets in shitcoin exchanges, then go ahead but don't moan afterwards.
That's possible and I agree with it. It's just a matter of time and everything will change base on the set of events that will be thrown to them.

This issue was discussed more than 2 months ago and he has no further complaints. I think his problem has been solved, yobit is still working very well.
Do you have any proof that this has been solved? His last post is on January 14,2018 the date this thread has been created.

There are even cases that they have been stuck for more than 6 months. And AFAIK withdrawals on yobit once processed is process but this can happen to everyone and I don't think this case has been solved.

There is no need for evidence, that this case was resolved as we even don't have an evidence, that withdrawals were canceled and didn't get any feedback of OP. If there are signs, that yobit will end like other exchangers and not just listing shitcoins, we can be worried, but not based on the OP here on the thread. Unfortunately many threads of this kind are opened without feedback, what happened. Mostly those cases are solved, I guess.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading by technical analysis or just intuition? on: March 17, 2018, 10:23:57 PM
Wether you are trading by technical analysis or just intuition should make no difference on day trading. You also could roll dices for your predictions with same results. There was an interesting study by caas of business school, university London, that  compared simulated trading skills of monkeys against investors. Guess, who won that competition.

https://www.cass.city.ac.uk/news/2013/april/monkeys-beat-market-cap-indices
Especially on cryptocurrency markets you will have different results on mid- and longtermtrading. But also here technical analysis wouldn't help without deep researches on the traded currencies. Your intuition will give you the power to filter out  needed informations.
113  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is meant by stake in a coin signature campaign on: March 17, 2018, 09:53:49 PM

The formula is wrong it should be the other way around if you read the replies above, multiplying the total amount of stakes including your own would result in smaller or bigger payout than the said budget.

I added an example for better understanding of formula. Smiley
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How Cryptopia is SCAMING a lot of people on: March 17, 2018, 06:10:25 AM
Your problem is solved so kindly update your thread's title as it is obvious, that you weren't scammed by cryptopia. It is hard for us to differ between scam complaints and problems, that are solved already. Apart from that, it is not right to just leave false accusations as headlines.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Wallets in maintenance on Yobit on: March 17, 2018, 05:33:56 AM
Independent from the seriousity of yobit, i think its normal, that so many wallets are under maintance, as it is very easy to get coins on yobit listed. They have too many currencies of being able to update all wallets in time, if needed. I saw other exchangers already like for example Poloniex, which  only have a fraction of coins, compared to yobit and are even not with a few coins able to update the wallets timely. Don't get me wrong, I don't defend yobit as I don't trust any exchanger, but we should put these complaints in relation to the facts.
My experience on arbitrage trading is to choose only well established coins with stable and cheap network to swap them between exchangers. For buying, deposits and withdrawals of coins, that need many updates like for example BCN, I wouldn't choose Yobit or Poloniex.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GOOGLE AND FB BAN ON ADVERTISMENTS on: March 17, 2018, 05:16:15 AM
Devs of meaningful ICO already have a presence with genuine visitors like for example Kodak. Facebook and Google may protect their users against scam projects. But as I see many non crypto related ads targeted to scam projects, I have doubts about the real motives of these steps. Maybe the two companies are standing under pressure by authorities.
117  Economy / Exchanges / Re: YoBit withdrawals "cancelled" on: March 17, 2018, 04:56:40 AM
I wouldn't assume, that yobit would finish its service or scam people, based on a question of OP;  who seems to have left this thread already and news about a possible staff, that came around. For me yobit is still working smooth. But I nevertheless don't trust any exchanger, also not yobit. So I put only little parts of funds in any exchanger.
BTW: These days yobit banned a dev, who dumped his own coin and scammed many people. So there can be many reasons, why withdrawals are canceled. Scamming by yobit, scamming by devs, who are caught by yobit, upgrading of coin wallets, issues on network, issues on account, caught by pumping dumping, technical issues and much more.
So I can't say anything; except, that I deposited and withdrew these days without problem.
But be anyway warned to entrust your whole funds to a single exchanger. Only deposit a little part on yobit, if needed. Also check wallets there, if they are just under maintance.
118  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is meant by stake in a coin signature campaign on: March 17, 2018, 04:35:22 AM
You can use a formula to calculate your stakes.
S = Sum of Currency
y = Number of your own stakes
n = Number of stakes ( You must count the number of stakes in the spreadsheet)
x = What you get

x = S/n * y
Edit: Example for better understanding of the formula:
S = 1 BTC
y = 5 (your own stakes)
n = 1000 (all stakes)
x = 1 BTC/1000 * 5 = 0.001 * 5 = 0.005 BTC
119  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cryptominingfarm is trusted? on: March 16, 2018, 08:39:09 PM
CryptoMiningfarm It not easy start the mining farm. So before start the mining learn the process.So check the value of money save then invest. Is a new cloud mining company and investment opportunity that wants to give people a way to utilize high quality cryptocurrency mining with guaranteed profits. People will be learn more information for the future improvement.
This "new cloud mining company" is an old scam. Don't put money in it. Don't even waste your time with it. Same scam as oremine, which was at least more entertain. But they nevertheless scammed us, as this one. You will never get back your investment, because 2irhdrawals are not possible.
120  Economy / Exchanges / Re: YoBit withdrawals "cancelled" on: March 15, 2018, 09:17:11 PM
I have the same problem. I tried today to withdraw my LTC and move them to GDAX and Coinbase, however all my withdrawals were cancelled without any reason. The addresses are 100% accurate. Sent a note at 11am and still there is no response from them. When you deposit they are quickly accepting your money but when you try to take your money out of this shit exchange you start having problems. The fees are ridiculously high which is the other disadvantage using this platform. May be if you are trading with huge sums and the fees are fixed is okay, but in my case, they are taking too much. What do you think guys?
There could be many reasons for withdraw problems like
-technical or other issues on yobit
-suspicious activities by the traders (pumping dumping)
-account problems
Try to reach them via support ticket, chat and telegram
Ask also moderators via pm on yobit. Maybe they have more insites than customers and are informed about an actual problem.
