101  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-06-18]Bitcoin Price And The Weekend Move on: June 19, 2016, 10:34:05 AM
There is no big price movement during the weekend. That is a good sign for the price. It needs some rest before the next advancement.
102  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: June 10, 2016, 09:18:37 AM
As we all know we know that the halving of the Bitcoin will come soon and that can be nice because there are a lot of people that is using Bitcoin is waiting for a higher value so they can sell it later with a lot of profit and that would be nice for them.
But even some people said that the value of the Bitcoin wont even rise and that we have to wait a longer time until the value will be higher so that would be bad.

In the past, many people sell short bitcoin and think the price would not rise. But the price is still rising.

Is it possible to send out the miner hashing rates to a pool? I use the ethpool.org. I want to monitor my miners.

But as Russian I can say that this prices for oil are very annoying hahah Don't judge life in Russia by life u see or saw in Moscow. I live in the deep ass of the country and it's just crazy what is going on now. Cause of the government send all money to Siriya and Crimea. Yes, who cares that people in this deep ass of the country get a salary 100 $ for a month!?

Stop talking bullshit

Yeah. What the hell is he talking about? Because he's Russian he can see the future of oil? There is no big crash coming soon.
The most people are of course hoping now around this time that the crash will come because it was already stable for a long time so that is really bad for the Bitcoin itself.
Because it is stable for a long time and that have to change soon.

The OP was talking about the big crash in the world economy and the hyper inflation. That is good for bitcoin.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin crashes? on: April 28, 2016, 04:39:37 PM
litecoin will drop as well but will the other altcoins rise? I feel bitcoin price will drop, just a matter of time.

Most altcoins cannot be bought directly. You need to buy BTC and exchange your BTC for alt's (there are a couple exceptions to this rule tough). In my opinion, this means that when bitcoin drops, the actual USD or € value of the altcoin will drop to, eventough the exchangerate BTC/ALT might rise, the actual price will most likely plummet and follow BTC.

There some markets based on altcoins. For example, in Poloniex, you can buy several coins with Monero.
106  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: April 13, 2016, 05:33:16 PM
I dont think that it will happen, you already can see now that the value is now not even rising so that is pretty bad for Bitcoin and for the people who are all waiting for a good price increase.
We are all thinking that the value will rise soon, but you dont know when it will start and that is the problem.

I agree that no one knows when or if the price will go up, but that's why we need to have patience as Bitcoin holders.

Those who have enough patience to see what the future will bring will end up making the big profits. Those who don't have patience end up making small profits only (if they are lucky).

I am very patient. I will wait until at least the end of next year to sell or use my bitcoin. The price will be high then.
107  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: April 04, 2016, 10:54:22 AM
Well people keep saying that ETH is coming to join bitcoin values, one thing is sure people are manipulating this altcoin a lot ,i remember poloniex value 200ksatoshis,now its worthing atleast 10times more,i never saw any altcoin with 50k bitcoin inside soo i believe people will pump and dump a lot more eth, about bitcoin i dont know really, for me it has been pumped from the last year .

The price number of the individual coin does not matter too much, it is the total market capitalization of the coin.

How do I use the -FF option?

I used the -S eu1.ethpool.org:3333  and -FF http://127.0.0.1:8080, it does not work.

failover is only for getwork protocol, not stratum. So you can combine -F with -FF, but not -S with -FF.

The feature was built for a donator who wanted to use two stratum proxies, so if the proxy crashes, you can still continue on the other.

I'll add -SF (stratum failover) in a future release.

Do you mean I have two stratum proxy in my local network, I can point to those two proxy, but not the pools remotely?

Can we have three instead of two proxy?
109  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Forum Accounts on: March 07, 2016, 09:36:38 PM
This is the website that helps you calculate the price of a btc account. www.bctalkaccountpricer.info/

You should offer a loan amount less than this price to earn some profit. Also, do check the post quality of the account you get as a collateral to see if there are any chances of it getting banned. Also, the trust ratings matter and accounts with more green trust are sold at a higher value. Selling BCT accounts often have led to scamming but you need to check the background of the buyer before selling him the account.

The price from that website is higher than the ones on the market. That figure was right before the bitcoin price rise.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: February 26, 2016, 08:30:40 AM
The crash mentioned in the title and OP is a global crash not a crash in bitcoin price.

The lack of reading skills here is shocking sometimes.

Yes. The big crash of bitcoin came in the November of 2013. From August 2015 onwards, it is in the rising trend.
111  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: February 20, 2016, 04:12:04 PM
Crash is an never ending speculations,  Bitcoin will be bitcoin you not loose anything if you dont sell your BTC,

could not agree more. and if its a crash in the world , btc is the thing you want to own.

I think the bitcoin is a good tool to hold your value. It is not a inflationary currency and the value will increase in long term.
112  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: February 07, 2016, 10:37:18 AM
Not too sure about the world economy status based on all the index etc., but all I know is the job market getting very bad and there are so many redundancies and job cuts, and no new jobs being created. Definitely something bad is going to happen...

The job market in the US is very good. The unployment rate is just 4.9%. Where do you live?
113  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: January 26, 2016, 11:42:56 AM
I do not believe it, but it is likely to happen, bitcoin prices now starting to fall in the $ 394, but I hope it will not be diminished, I needed BTC at a great price  Sad

Dude we had been below 390 already are rehabilitating now.
Don't be sad. There's no reason to.We're again on the way up.You will get your great Bitcoin price.I'm pretty sure about that! Wink

The big crash has happened. It has survived the crash nicely. The price did not drop below $300. This is good for the bitcoin.

It could still drop lower, that's not known for sure. It would be great if the price stays around this now and just slowly climbs back up, but we could still see some huge sales of coins dropping the price right now. I'd still be careful. Might be a good time to buy though, considering they're cheap now.

I think it is better for the price to rise about 1% per week. We do not need too much price action for bitcoin. It will deter its usage.
114  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Christmas 2015 Bubble on: January 12, 2016, 07:28:20 PM
I am not sure why people were talking about a christmas bubble. All i can see there was a pre-christmas bubble, and today on the 2nd christmas day the bubble bursted out.
Giving bitcoin a new push in some more realistic value.

Indeed, maybe that was the bubble and it just burst. hopefully this january isnt as bad as the last one, though with the coming of the halfing i cant see the prices dropping by much. Maybe not at all.

So far in 2016 January, the price is going no where, at least not going down. So it is good start compared to last year.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: January 01, 2016, 08:08:43 PM
Yeah I doubt that. Why? What would trigger a crash in 2016? People claim there's gonna be a crash every year.

It depends on the definition of crash. If 10% price drop is a crash, bitcoin crashes every month.
116  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Christmas 2015 Bubble on: December 20, 2015, 10:35:26 AM
There will be no Christmas 2015 bubble. The price will stay around $460 for the next few weeks.
117  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: sent btc to a wrong wallet address. is it lost? on: December 10, 2015, 08:08:38 AM
I would assume that it is lost unless you know who owned the address and that he is willing to give it back to you.

It's not your fault. Let the guy who gave you the wrong address take the losses. Tell him to refund you. He should have figured it out himself which address is the right one and which is the false one.

i also said so but the guy refuses to refund the btc to me (actually it is not that big amount but for me it was all i had). and i dont understand why i should take the loss. makes me feel so down and desperate  Cry

That guy could be a scammer. He sent you the wrong address deliberately, so that he can claim he did not receive the money. But he actually owns that address.
