101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: October 17, 2017, 06:22:15 AM
So where should we invest bitcoin to actually earn some profit and increase the amount of bitcoin we own, is there any legit place?
I mean cloud mining is a scam but there must be something else we can actually do right?
The safest way to avoid the risk of being scammed is to invest it in altcoins. Through this, as investors decided to invest in a coin, its value may increase which would give profit to its holders.

True. Buying some major altcoins and researching what they can offer in the future will give you a hint on which one to buy, they have whitepapers but be sure to hold for a long time maybe 2 years or more because this industry is still in the development phase so are them (for example stratis). Investing in crypto market and the real stock market is quite the same but in crypto there are so much more room to offer so why not give this a shot?
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty] [UPDATE] Hash Rush Game — Signature & Translation Campaign on: October 17, 2017, 01:35:25 AM
It's so sad to see, that such a promising project with a really enthusiastic team behind it destroys the reputation on this early stage by cheating the first promoters and investors. Hope you'll clear everything soon to prevent further damage to the whole HR project... Embarrassed
In Crypto trust is everything. So if you change the rules as you like it, what held you to change the Smart Contract as well?
And by the way I've never planned to sell any RC for profit, only for spending ingame and holding longterm (If those were your concerns)

Yup they are quite abusive. The RC coins is cap to a certain amount and ( its too small for full members and above) we've became fooled by them. Ive always been a fan of games that's why I joined the campaign and im dissapointed now.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty] Hash Rush Game — Signature & Translation Campaign. on: October 17, 2017, 01:22:24 AM
If bdstar is here he would not recommend to change the rules of the campaign and making it like there is a max RC that the participants can get. so unfair hashrush.

True, we've been fooled, its okie if the max cap is at least 3000 RC or above and not 500 RC ,( this is too small for full member and above). Huh Huh
Plus the payout for other campaigns like (translations) is just 1500?? Huh
104  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia Plans to Beat China To State-Owned Cryptocurrency? on: October 16, 2017, 07:28:41 AM
This is regulation in disguise and I hope Russians wouldn't buy into that gimmick of politically controlled cryptos.

With the state owned cryptos, the freedom is lost. I even think with such, the decentralized nature might also kiss the air as it could be regulated in a way that it will be used in that country since you can't mine in the first place.

True and then other countries will follow, its like stealing the technology and then making it their own, is satoshi will make a patent in the blockchain the nations will beg for that technology and what they are doing is not funny anymore, they just dont want to lose control of the money. I once admired russia because they banned the cartel of the rotschild but now im disappointed.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty] Hash Rush Game — Signature & Translation Campaign. on: October 15, 2017, 01:32:13 AM
@Bestpromoter it doesn't mean anything bad really. What's happened is BDStar isn't working with us anymore (nothing bad involved, just a routine change of personal).

After that we decided to move to talking to the community via an account that clearly shows who we are. Of-course if you have any misgivings, we've always directed you to our discord server where any other member of the Hash Rush team can verify that this is a legit account.

So thats what happened, hash rush is a success as expected but I made a PM to bdstar weeks ago to update my rank. Please consider it thank you.
Congratulations it by the way. Ill send you a PM.
106  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe governments can stop bitcoin after all on: October 14, 2017, 08:16:22 AM
Government can't ban Bitcoin completely because people will always find some ways to do transactions through bitcoin. But if Bitcoin is termed illegal then it could quite difficult because then it cannot be converted into local currencies, hence no use for the citizens of that countries. Then if they want to use their stored their Bitcoin the only possible way I can see is that shifting to a country where it is legal and then converting into Local currency

Hmmm. I dont think they can ban bitcoin completely the bitcoin because they will pushed people into pressure and make it illegal but because people are slowly having an awareness in cryptocurrencies and its underlying potential in the financial imfrastructure. They might be able to hold it for a little while but not longer. Have you seen china ditching out cryptocurrencies but announce that they will make their own?
Some are just afraid to lose thier crown in controlling the money of people.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Basics on: October 14, 2017, 07:32:37 AM
What are the top 5 things you need to start mining bitcoin?

What's the difference between a cpu and Gpu?

I NEED HELP😲😲😲

Im also here because I want to see some answers, like you Im just a beginner in mining crypto.

What are the top 5 things you need to start mining bitcoin?

What's the difference between a cpu and Gpu?

I NEED HELP😲😲😲
you should have a complete components to start mining likd processor, GPU cards, riser, PSU, board and RAM. These needs for the GPU mining set up. I hope you wish to go with GPU mining since you ask difference of CPU and GPU mining. CPU runs from your core of your PC. GPU runs from graphical interface cards.

As i know (correct me if im wrong), the GPu will solve a complex mathematical equations in order to mine but isnt the cpu have a greater computational power ?
Why so many GPU and now many CPU?

108  Economy / Marketplace / Re: enough bitcoins to start small project ? on: October 12, 2017, 05:22:06 AM
i if want to start small project (site)

how much i need for basic one ? OR complex one ?

I think the startup price will depend on what project do you want. I dont understand the complex part but i think you need at least 500$ on a home base project and some people. Idea and trusted people are much more important than the fund. When you are going to implement your project online then you will need to acquire people awareness in order to work it. Just make a feasibility study in order to have a higher chance of success. Its not how large the money, its how large your idea.
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: October 12, 2017, 04:12:35 AM
Finally within 2 days the NBA starts again!

Who will win NBA 2017/18?

Golden State  @1.55
Cleveland       @5.50
Boston            @9.00
Houston         @12.00
San Antonio   @13.00
Oklahoma      @21.00

I expect to see a final between Golden State vs Cleveland but much more balanced than last NBA

I don't want to see another finals with Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers. I want to see some other teams like Oklahoma Thunders, they have what it takes and they have the guts to be in the semi's - finals. I think it's unfair that you'll not include other teams with your choices as you are undervaluing them though this list seems to be legit. Chances of seeing GSW and CV is there but I want to watch just another finals.

As much as we like to have a new team vying for the ring this year, Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers are the likely front runner to go against it once more. Teams have upgraded, acquiring new members so that they can keep up with the two teams. However, it seems that they are the team to beat in the West/East conference. I didn't say that other teams have no chance to get into the finals, but the two has up the ante and the other teams need to catch up with them. We are almost on the beginning of the season. Let's see how Westbrook game would adjust, can he make triple double every game? How about Wade? or Rose on Cavaliers? Will they have the second wind to perform better this year because they have Lebron?

They are contenders and candidates again for this year's season. But it looks like we have a beast that will stay on his nature and will definitely have the potential to bring his squad up to the finals. And that's why I'm counting them to beat most of the teams that can bring them to semi's and not only there but also in the finals, excited to watch the start of this season.

And the time I admired (San Antonio Spurs), is only at top 3. I wonder what is the  improvement of Kawhi leonard this season. As we can see hes one of the most humble yet one of the guys that has the potential to be one of the greatest someday ( I still felt bad that had an injury in the last semi finals ). Lebron on the other hand is a monster, great passing and basketball IQ and he had Wade now. A very dangerous player, this will be hard to predict but of course there are so many fans of Golden state warriors and their players are solid.
I hope that this years finals would be a great battle.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: How to double your money using BTC? on: October 08, 2017, 02:39:17 AM
Doubling money is possible through bitcoin. One can make plans of multiplying his fiat with the use of bitcoin, but it should not have any time constraints. None know when the price increase and decrease takes place. We are responsible to find the right way and invest to profit as expected.
i think that is only possible through bitcoin and altcoin i think those people who have good experience in altcoin trading then they can really make a good profit from bitcoin trading.

YUp, Having an experience in altcoin trading for at least 2 years can get you a very good decision making and techniques in the market. You cant just buy BTC and trade it and expect that it will double in an instant, you'll need experience and knowledge in order to do that. (make an investment in BTC and wait to double the price is one of the safest way).

I cann't exactly deduce how to double money with btc. what i do just consistently to trading altcoin with a planning reach a profits target that isn't too big on every week and what achieve is btc i have grown more than 300% within 4month.
Hmmm sounds legit but for us who are not expert in trading, this will be hard. But it's true, even if i'm just about 3 months old in the trading industry, i have grown at least 5% of my profit and its not bad. I'm only buying the major cryptocurrencies. Everything is going well but China ruined it all (well I cant blame them), I think I really have much more to learn on how to take advantage of the dumps and the surging or prices and not to panic selling the coins.
111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where does your biggest return come from, in cryptocurrency ? on: October 08, 2017, 02:01:24 AM
Hey guys, I am new here, but I would like to know for all the OG's out there, or if you are long enough in the cryptocurrency market.
What has been your best strategy for biggest gain in cryptomarket so far?

Is it bitcoin?
Is it emerging altcoins?
Is it altcoins with big market cap?
Is it altcoins with micro market cap?
Is it day trading?
Is it staking? If so, staking what?
Is it mining? If so, mining what?

Also, please share the strategy here for noobs Smiley

Thank you.
Cheers

My biggest return is on bitcoin in the year end of 2016, because as you can see the price is skyrocketed like 300 or 400%.
Im trading altcoins but only the frontliners like stratis or ETH. (yup, big market cap).
Sometimes in airdrops and airdrops nowadays is so many and you don't know where to fill up.
Staking of signature campaigns also really help because you are going to earn altcoins and you can either hold it , sell it, or trade it.
Im still in the process of learning how to mine.
Best strategy? be open minded, hardworking, learn, and dream. Even the experts once a noob so, work hard till you get there. Wink
112  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Projects you should start, we need! on: October 07, 2017, 10:31:17 AM
Hi,

After long search and many similar projects, the market needs new ideas and projects to fill the market and mature it, if you are looking to start something but dont know what, here are some ideas:

1- Exchange in Africa with african fiats.

2- Accept cash for ICOs.

3- Uber of everything but accepting/paying in Alt coins not just BTC (Everthing)

4- Craigslist of everything but accepting/paying in Alt coins not just BTC (Everything)

5- adsense alternative but accepting/paying in Alt coins not just BTC.

6- Scammers/fraud exposers wiki (You want to alert about someone, pay something very minimum, plus verification of the scam)

7- Huffington post cryptocurrencies alternative. (Freelance writers)

8- Global exchange ( Accepting all fiats, accepting all alt coins)

3, 4 & 7 someone should get us that quickly.

Impressive ideas i like all of them especially the 4th and 6th one. But to implement these ideas more popularity of cyptcocurrencies needed, cryptocurreny awareness and users community need to extend more. Btw keep it up mate.

The global exchange isnone of the biggest here. You need to be brave and go toe to toe with the officials and different country and you must have a vision on one goal and that will be hard to do.
Wiki leaks on scammers on the other hand will be hard because online everyone can have a fake identity and they will just create a new account to scam other people again.
If we're going in the big figures then we must at least contact a task force regarding that.
Nice Ideas by the way.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What impresses you the most about Bitcoin? on: October 07, 2017, 09:45:52 AM
Bitcoin is untraceable. This is both a benefit and a risk for Bitcoin. The benefit is that you don't have to be afraid of any organization of being able to trace the source of your funds. This is a clear benefit in many areas of the world.

The transactions can be traced ( correct me if Im wrong ) but what lies beneath its private key is the one that is untraceable, uncrackable, unhackable. Sooner or later the government will implement tules or will monitor crypto and the mindset "like youre free from tax" will be no more. The benefits are there but the people who dont want to be outhrow and want to keep how they are pushing people in their pockets, and this will be the greatest challenge of tge community. Change tge rules of the game.
114  Local / Altcoin Announcements (Pilipinas) / Re: 🔷[SelfPay.asia $787.000 BOUNTY]🔷 PreICO 3rd October 💳 +Wire+Crypto Processing on: October 04, 2017, 11:26:39 AM

115  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time management. on: October 04, 2017, 10:10:30 AM
Setting your day with the things you need to do. First in the list are the ones that you need most that needs to be finished in due time. Whatever you do, trading, work  campaign's research or travels you just need to set an amount of time on how long you need to do it. Time management is easy to do if you have a goal in your life. And when you see some spare time, try to relax.

I can see that trading is a time work consuming because of observing the market and meticulously trade coins because one mistake can ruin everything. Well when in terms of signature campaign, I'm posting when I have a free time and then post again in the time of the day that is free. Trading and doing signatures are quite hard if you have some real work offline. But still I can manage 15 work hours everyday and the remaining time is for sleep and for myself. Discipline and consistency of work is a must when having a time management.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The upcoming fork November 2017 (Bitcoin gold)? on: October 04, 2017, 08:54:07 AM
I am a bit new to cryptos, almost 5 weeks old!

My question is:

There is an upcoming fork in November 2017, I understand not all wallets planning to support it or yet undecided. My wallets are Jaxx and Bread having a few Satoshi in each.

Would I still be receiving my share of the forked currency if Jaxx didn’t support the new fork?
Will I still receive it if I sent my BTC from a wallet that does not support to a wallet that support the fork AFTER the fork happens?

How can I be sure I will collect my share of the forked currency.

Your advice highly appreciated.

With a knowledge like that and with a satoshi in wallets that is not even known to everyone, I doubt that you're a 5 weeks old here.
By the way read for instructions for like example Before the BCC fork (electrum) has a guidelines on what to do during and after the fork. And see for yourself if your wallet is capable of replay protection and be sure that you have your own master private key.
REad also the headline news and thread here made by the Global moderators here itself.
Be Updated.
117  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Philippines Board nagiging social media. on: October 04, 2017, 04:10:29 AM

Nandun ung General Board Rules - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1348399.0

Meron pa ung Non-Bitcoin/ Off Topic Posts will be deleted thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2006619.0

Moderated naman po ung Local Board. Might as well report redundant threads.

Tapos, wala ding ALAM SA FORUM RULES since a long time ago. :>

This isn't facebook people. READ THE RULES.  Embarrassed Embarrassed

118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mobile phones and the Internet are changing the banking on: October 03, 2017, 08:09:23 AM
I can hardly remember when the last time I went to the bank, the banking system in the digital world was influenced by the system, maybe easier but we can not touch the real money Smiley

True. Even before the blockchain, computer and information technology is being used in banking systems and they have greatly change the way of transactions and payments. The blockchain technology on the other hand is a system that shocked the world because I think even the online systems of banks didn't expected that such technology will exist and this will wipe out the entire system and make it to the whole new level.
kaylan mo pweding papalitan ung token mo papuntang BTC or php.

120  Local / Altcoin Announcements (Pilipinas) / Re: [FIL-ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: October 03, 2017, 05:50:25 AM
