101  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Casascius Coins for sale - 35BTC face value (25 x 1 and 20 x 0.5) on: May 30, 2018, 10:13:17 AM
Do you sale 1 coin or the hole LOT?
Raffle for a few coins could be something for me as well.

For conveniences sake I'd like to sell the lot in one go if possible. But understand that this may not be possible due to the value of the coins. Basically I'm testing the market atm to see what the options are.
102  Economy / Collectibles / Group buy of large amount of Casascius Coins, UK seller - Zepher Coordinating on: May 30, 2018, 08:43:24 AM
I'm seriously considering having a clear out of some Casascius coins. They are the following specification:

    - 25 x 1BTC, series 2 back, 2013 front
    - 20 x 0.5BTC, series 2 back, 2013 front

They are from the last batch Casascius ever made before shutting his website down. Each comes with a digital certificate of authenticity consisting of a PDF scan of the coins signed with the makers (Mike Caldwell's) Adobe key.

Each comes in an airtight capsule and has been sealed and untouched since receipt. They are basically in as mint condition as possible. Please click this link to access a page to download a zip file of photographs of each coin with signed pdf certificates if you are interested, each is taken front and back, in good light, one photo with flash and one without.

I am a UK seller so would prefer a face to face sale.

At this point I am trying to gauge market interest, so serious offers only. BTC payment only.

EDIT: I am also selling a 5BTC casascius here.

103  Economy / Collectibles / Considering selling a 5BTC and 1BTC Casascius and want some advice... on: February 26, 2018, 01:27:13 PM
So I am thinking of selling a 5BTC and a 1BTC Casacius coin. I'm keen to get something a little better than face value for them as I think it would be really sad to have to peel them to redeem them. I'm conscious an auction will probably not achieve this. Advice welcome.

Comes with a digital certificate of authenticity. Been sealed in a coin capsule since receipt.

I've imported an old single address private key from my old mycelium wallet to the latest client. I want to enable PIN encryption on it but can't see how to do it. Is this still possible and if so how is it activated?

106  Economy / Collectibles / Is is me or is the address on this Sol Notic Binary Eagle incorrect? on: October 03, 2017, 05:11:08 AM
I have this Binary Eagle I recently purchased. However I can't seem to find the address on any block explorer.

The address seems to be: 19A7djv7 KGiBNRRB CXvfs8Mo 5uD5Ypzo

Is there a limit to the number of these coins that will be minted?

Wondering if I should store them as is, or remove the chocolate and replace it with a similar shaped piece of packing material such as card inside the wrappers.

115  Economy / Collectibles / Casascius 1BTC Series 2 - last batch made with signed digital certificate on: September 12, 2017, 12:46:08 PM
This auction is for a Casascius Series 2 2013 1BTC coin, this is from the last batch Mike made. A few hours after I put in my order he took the ordering facility down off the Casascius website.

The coin is in good condition. It's never been touched since I received it and always lived in an air tight capsule from the day of receipt.

The auction will include a PDF of a scan of the coin, which Mike Caldwell generated and signed with his adobe private key to prove authenticity.

Below are photos of the actual coin:

119  Economy / Collectibles / Gauging interest for 5BTC Casascius Series 2 aution with digital signed cert... on: September 10, 2017, 02:03:12 PM
So I'm thinking of selling one of my remaining 5BTC Casascius Series 2 coins but wanted to get some cominity advice and see how many people out there were potentially interested in bidding. If there is enough interest then I'll list an actual aution for it soon.

Detials:

Casascius Series 2 2012 5 BTC coin, it has bright green text. The auction will include a PDF of a scan of the coin, which Mike Caldwell has signed with his adobe private key to prove authenticity. Below is an example scan of one of these; I'll provide an actual high quality images if the auction goes ahead:

Question for the cominity: does a starting price of 6BTC seem reasonable?

Note: this is not an auction, mearly gauging interest at this point.
120  Other / Meta / What is bitcointalk.to ..? on: September 10, 2017, 01:50:41 PM
I've found what appears to be a slightly broken mirror sight of bitcointalk.org at (if you visit this site do not log in) bitcointalk.to.

Does anyone know what this is because it concerns me this could be some kind of scamming/phishing site.

I almost logged in then realised I was already logged in to the actual site on another tab, and realised the domain was different. Had I done that the site would have my login details...
