101  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Career Opportunities - Especially With Markets Being Down on: April 22, 2018, 05:28:34 PM
"Cryptocurrency career opportunities are going up as the markets are falling downwards. Why? It's good to negotiate for jobs or if you're a jobs employer, you can negotiate for better expense deals as most websites/influencers/services have dropped values and prices. It's a good time to get into crypto (not necessarily investing money into it) if you were thinking about it last year."
You need to understand that an important part of the growth in the last year by bitcoin was caused by speculation, however another great part was caused by real growth that is why the price did not crash to the initial price and now it's a lot higher than when we began the last year, this creates a market where there are more opportunities because more people are adopting cryptocurrencies but at the same time where the price went down due to the recent crash, but right now it seems we are seeing a slight recovery which is good if you are trying to chase an opportunity of making a career in cryptocurrencies.
Some people would say that good moment to start crypto career is always. Most people agree that on long runs price can only rise, because of limited number of coins. To some extent I agree with them, but if I would have to me more realistic than I would rather go with your approach. Aim to join crypto when time is best, that way you maximize chance of success.
102  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Career Opportunities - Especially With Markets Being Down on: April 22, 2018, 04:26:01 PM
If you are negotiating for fix payment than best moment for doing so is at a dip, because at that moment value is at its lowest and person can get more coins for their services, so its just like you said.
But there are also agreements that are flexible when it comes to payment. So if value of crypto is rising, payment in crypto is lowered and otherwise. So everything comes to agreement that you have with your employers.
After all, maybe best option would be fix payment, but in that case if price drops you are at loss. Life is full of risks, so everything depends on personal opinion at the end.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't you think government are playing with us as always? on: April 22, 2018, 04:17:35 PM
You must understand that governments like to be in control of things... they need to be in control if they want for their country to be successful. On the other hand we have bitcoin, which is decentralized and belongs to no one and everyone. Governments can not control it, therefor they turn to banning it until they find the solution for regulations for proper usage. There's a lot of factors which needs to be satisfied before some currency is proclaim totally legal, so that people can use it without fear of punishment. So I would not say that governments fear bitcoin, rather they don't want it because they can not control it.
104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whaleclub TS - Telegram Chat on: April 22, 2018, 12:35:47 PM
Not a big fan of social media, that is why I don't use telegram. But i see many people here on forum do, so I wonder should I start using it.

@OP, what kind of group is this? I guess its BTC speculation group or something like that? Even with my "social media not liking" feeling, group that gives serious info could be good thing to have. After all, it is always good to know what other people think, even if there is no real whales in this group. Every bit of information helps, right.  Wink
105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin price reaches $20.000 this year? on: April 22, 2018, 11:07:31 AM
One thing to note about experts or professionals when it comes to Bitcoin is that there is no such thing. Professionals are just people in the financial industry making total guesses just like we are. Don't put any more weight behind a "professionals" opinion that you would behind some random guy's opinion from the internet, they are worth the same, which is to say, precisely nothing.

Because people knows very little about matter they are dealing with, they tend to turn to "professionals" for advice or information. Which in this case is wrong. Its just like you said, and I totally agree with your view. Every prediction from those so called professionals is nothing more than a speculation, same as that of normal trader. But we must not overlook those comments, because they can lead some people to wrong conclusion,
and their decisions could have negative/positive impact on bitcoins price. I guess that comments of professionals are inevitable, but people should try not giving them more weight just like you said. Also they should not make decisions based on those predictions alone.
106  Economy / Economics / Re: Is hodling good for Bitcoin, and how its affecting it? on: April 22, 2018, 10:55:15 AM
I think the way you can talk about holding and make a correct statement is if you say "depending on your reasons to hold it can affect the future of bitcoin".
for instance some people are holding bitcoin just to dump it as soon as price goes up or they feel some panic creeping up their spine because of some FUD. obviously these people are holding for the wrong reasons and they are the ones preventing any advancement.
but there are also others who are holding bitcoin because they believe in the future of bitcoin as THE decentralized currency of the world. for them holding and not spending is because they don't have an alternative option since bitcoin is not yet accepted everywhere.
As long as there are people who truly support bitcoin by holding or otherwise, I guess bitcoin will continue on living and that is the most important thing. From your post and other, I have seen that my knowledge of economics is... scarce, and that I need to cover all the angles before I judge something. Also, I know that legalization of bitcoin is big problem, because people are not able to use bitcoin as a currency. For those people holding is the best and I guess only option.
107  Economy / Speculation / Re: TA on BTC right now on: April 21, 2018, 11:03:22 PM
When ever you think worst is behind you, think again. There is always chance for something as bad or even worst that could happen again. I guess its always like that in crypto world, things can go both ways. But I think that things are going to better. For some reason I am more optimistic than Omkar Godbole, and believe that price is in recovery state. But I'm no expert, so I should wait and watch.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEXT hot coins in 2018!!! MUST BUY!!! on: April 21, 2018, 10:54:59 PM
Usually I don't trust people easily, and when it comes to trading I am even worse. But I guess I can put some time aside for tracking this coin, and decide what to do. But to be honest I don't expect much, because you are too confident that its price will boom and speak like we can earn insane amount of money. When something is too good to be truth, we know what to do... but I guess tracking doesn't hurt.
109  Economy / Economics / Re: Is hodling good for Bitcoin, and how its affecting it? on: April 21, 2018, 08:49:33 PM
Constant flow will cause stable price which is unwanted by holders.
This is truth I guess. Sadly, almost everyone buy bitcoin because they want to earn some extra money, its just like virendarnagpal said. Only small number of people believe in what bitcoin actually represent and support it by buying it. But I guess that everything in crypto world is based on money gain.

It should be, but I think the bitcoin circulation to date is still good, and actually the bitcoin always moves because bitcoin is a bubble that can rise as high as it is and suddenly isa falling into a low price.
I guess that circulation of bitcoin is good like you said. If it was not, everything would be... lets say different. But I don't share your opinion that bitcoin is bubble, at least not in its core. It is bubble in this moment, because people are not using it as a currency, but as an asset or investment.

For now its like this, but when (or if) bitcoin gets accepted as legal currency things will change I guess. Also, as long as everything is working, there is nothing to fear right. I guess my concern was not totally baseless tho, but it was also clouded by constant seeing of "just keep holding" type of advice's.
110  Economy / Economics / Is hodling good for Bitcoin, and how its affecting it? on: April 21, 2018, 04:00:05 PM
In most advice people can find that holding bitcoins is best choice, but is that really best for Bitcoin? I can't but ask my self, what would happen if we all would just hold our coins? Only answer that comes to my mind is, bubble would occur and bad things would happen.

I don't deny that so far holding has proven to be one of best ways of earning extra money, but bitcoin is made to be currency and not asset. So for strong and stable price we need constant flow, which mean constant transactions of buying and selling, not mostly buying and holding. So if we really wish for bitcoin to success in its goal, we must start using it more frequently (at least as much as we can). Number of holders must not be higher than number of "users".

What are you thoughts on the matter?
111  Economy / Speculation / Re: Swinging around 8k and countinnngg.... on: April 21, 2018, 03:32:25 PM
That is a very good progress. If we continue this way, April will be the first month of this year to finish with positive BTC's results. More investors are investing hard in Crypto-Currency in general. As World Cup approaches even more I think Bitcoin's price will continue rising. Maybe some little corrections meanwhile, but the currency will show its strength in the end.

For those who bought BTC on the last months, as adviced here by many, now it's a good time to hold and watch your money growing.
I can't deny that number of investors are rising, or at least that new money is pouring into bitcoin market. But I don't see connection between Bitcoins price and World Cup, so please explain that to me. Why would bitcoins price rise and how does World Cup affect bitcoins price?

Hopefully. That could signal a good second quarter for this year after a forgettable first three months. Many may have been feeling a tiny tinge of regret when they just babbled when btc was down. That was a good time to get as much btc lol
Many investors agreed about second quarter and said that it will be positive, and I agree with them. Because if we look back, we will see that every year around this period bitcoins price drops, and than rise again after. Some people say that its because of US Tax day, and maybe they are correct. But what is for certain is, that it always rise after this time of year. Same thing happened last year, and I think same is happening now.
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Denies It Will Introduce Dollar Trading on: April 20, 2018, 10:11:57 PM
They are already trading dolar token called tether that is backed 1 to 1 with real usd. They will not have a real usd, but they might have a real euro so it is fine. I am waiting for more fiat pairs, so we can finally break out from btc price.

What other people say about why Binance doesn't want fiat currencies in their work make sens, so I don't see reason why they would allow Euro and not Dollar... That would be just contradictory.
As for Dollar token, well that is just another crypto, so its fine if they accept it. But I doubt that altcoin prices will break from Bitcoin influence anytime soon... if ever.
113  Economy / Speculation / Re: Swinging around 8k and countinnngg.... on: April 20, 2018, 09:31:37 PM
Trying to get accurate assumption is hard, and I always try to be as realistic as possible... someone would call me pessimistic too. I guess I am, because if worst possible option is acceptable than it could only be better right. But lets get back to speculations Smiley .

Honestly I doubt that price of bitcoin will rise greatly by the end of this year. I guess we can expect small rises and falls in months to come. So if bitcoin price reach $15,000 till the end of this year, I guess that would be awesome. But even if it doesn't reach that high, it still made a lot of progress. Also, we should not forget that last year around same date price was around $1300, and now its $8500. In my book that is really good progress. But I guess that expecting price around $11,000 at the end of this year is realistic and possible. But this is not my worst expectations  Wink
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Denies It Will Introduce Dollar Trading on: April 20, 2018, 09:04:29 PM
I think I can understand and see why Binance wants to stay with cryptocurrency trading only. But in the same time I can't but wonder why they forbid buying crypto with Dollar, wouldn't it be better if they allowed people to buy crypto with Dollar? They would expend their user base, or am I missing some information here?
Also its kinda funny to see how much even wrong rumors can affect crypto prices.  Cheesy
115  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the blockchain is great and why the government should use it [J-S] my vision on: April 20, 2018, 08:41:36 PM
I guess you putted a lot of effort in writing this, and I can say that I agree with you on some points and on some I don't. Generally speaking world is already accepting Blockchain, but there are some obstacles that needs to be dealt with first. And for that time is needed.

So I think that we need our government to create a digital USD, digital Euro etc.
We don't need that, because paying with your pay cards is similar to paying with digital currency. I see no need for digital USD or Euro. At the end everything would go true banks like it already do. That is why blockchain is good, it doesn't need middle man for transactions and confirmation.

Also, your whole "My vision for a new currency" is something I can't agree with you.

Besides that I think that it is really important for large amounts of money that the private keys are stored at banks. We also don't know the code of the safe in the banks. We need a bankpass with password to access and send transactions, just like we do nowadays. For smaller amounts we can use other wallets, just like you have your wallet with some bills.

I repeat, Blockchain technology was created so that we could avoid banks and their way of doing business, also with blockchain everything is public, which is good if you ask me. Also, why would people pay banks to store their large amounts of money, when they can create another wallet (but even that is not needed).

I have feeling that you point of view is strongly affected by way of how fiat currencies work, but maybe I'm just seeing it wrong. Maybe my view of things is affected by how much I don't like banks, and your point of view is better. Also, I guess your way of thinking is better than mine for banks , so I guess we could say that your ideas are more realistic than mine.

116  Economy / Speculation / Re: Brian Kelly Predicts Bitcoin Price Will Increase $25,000 by the Year End on: April 19, 2018, 09:15:17 PM
But honestly, it kinda started to be annoying. Hearing same old speculations over and over again, I guess that they do this only to rise their own popularity, people from economic sector I mean. Also, this optimistic speculation that predicts some bizarre price in the future, is only announced to attract new people to market for busting price... nothing more.
But I guess that at the end its better to hear the same old good news every day, than bad news.  Grin

Every form of positivity is welcome, even when it might not sound all that realistic to people right now. On top of that, the majority of the people are surfing the market, where if the price is going down, they expect worse, and if the price is going up, they turn into an ultra bull instantly. I am not all that focused on targets for the market to reach before this or that period of time. I accept that while the market looks quite positive right now, it could also still be going down. If we do happen to reach anything above the $15,000 level this year, then fine, and if not, then it's fine too. I will try my best to profit from each market situation, more can I not do.

Its true what you said, and I agree with you. Also its nice too see that there are other people with realistic view of things. Price of $15,000 would be really good achievement for this year, and its more realistic than $25k if you ask me. But even stable price around $10,000 would be good. I guess that last hype was too strong, and currently people are strongly focused on bitcoins price and expect it to return to its max reach from the end of 2017. But they forget that even $8000 price is good enough, just like you said. When I joined "crypto world", bitcoins price was around $400. So even $8000 is truly amazing achievement.
117  Economy / Speculation / Re: Brian Kelly Predicts Bitcoin Price Will Increase $25,000 by the Year End on: April 19, 2018, 08:14:59 PM
Its always good to hear good news (speculations in this case) that includes Bitcoin.

118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does it look like cryptos will skyrocket again very soon ? on: April 19, 2018, 05:03:00 PM
According to analysts bitcoin the coins are beginning to rise and will peak at the end of 2018. I believe that will happen. Countries around the world pay their workers a bitcoin. And they are ready to accept this form of payment.

No one can predict future with 100% certainty, we can only wait and hope. But I'm more interested in which countries are paying their workers in Bitcoins, or for that matter in any crypto? Except Japan which legalize Bitcoin, I know there are some companies that offers their employee salary in crypto, but not whole countries. To say that whole countries are prepared to fully accept crypto is incorrect. It will pass a lot of time before countries even totally legalize crypto, yet alone fully adopt it. Most of the things you said is only dreams for now.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will do to banks what email did to the postal industry. on: April 18, 2018, 09:46:45 PM
Maybe before you say this kind of thing again you should think about it first. There is no way Bitcoin can beat banks, it is just an asset. And even if it does affect one bank, it can’t affect the others; it will favor some banks and not favor the others. And when any government finds out that Bitcoin is destroying their banks and affecting their country’s economy, it may lead to banning Bitcoin from the country for good, cause Bitcoin can’t impact negatively on all banks, it will impact negatively on some and also impact positively on the others. Those that it affects negatively won’t take it lightly with it.

Sad but truth. That is nearly exactly what happened when China banned crypto trading and some other things which involve crypto. Their economy was affected by crypto so the first thing they did was to shut down everything, until they come up with a solution and decided to regulate crypto. Only after than they allowed it again. So what you said is truth and have been proven as such in the past.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mix of AMD and Nvidia... overclocking software on: April 17, 2018, 09:21:11 PM
I'm not sure if I know about any other, but I always thought that MSI Afterburner could see and set all GPUs in your rig just like smoolae said.
Other than that, I guess you could try setting them in BIOS. Never done it on both AMD and Nvidia in the same time, but I guess its possible.

EDIT: Check out ASUS GPU Tweak, its similar to MSI Afterburner as far as I can see.
