101  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Developerx11 is Scammer on: March 04, 2019, 04:41:52 PM
I'm really beginning to need that $100 + 0.01 because my cable and cell phone bills are overdue and my services are cut off. I also owe $50CAD to my neighbour for cigarettes. It's almost been 2 weeks dude and I really need that money.
102  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Developerx11 is Scammer on: March 02, 2019, 03:16:31 PM
@idiotcoder as I promised because i heard your life story you have from me at a time as i get to finish the avalance of projects on me 0.01+ equivalent of 100 bucks.

What have you worked for me?

1.I asked you to compile a linux gui from a source code, you failed.

2.I asked you to clone an website, you did it but the guy that ordered the job stoped replying after you did it.  I asked you right away to delete everything you have done (A reason of why I asking all the time for front payments).

Now. Let's see where I scammed you? You'll still get the payment from my side, there is not doubt. I promised you and you will receive because people like you deserver more than one chance in life, people that like to fight for their condition and want to get better.

Fair enough. I appreciate your honesty.

I seemed suspicious of another new account but I will continue with the research

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2547690

He contacted to my telegram and apparently use the same name of telegram http://prntscr.com/mrvj06

@polypusx can you tell me how is the current username if you still have it (since scammers usually change the names of telegram to continue scamming

He says his Telegram is hacked, but if it actually is him he may be buying bitcoin to send to me. He told me on Discord he borrowed cash from his neighbour and there might be a chance he's buying bitcoin with it to send to me. I really hope that's the case
104  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Developerx11 is Scammer on: February 28, 2019, 05:04:29 PM
It's been over a week and Developerx11 still hasn't paid me. He has a legitimate excuse if his true, his bitcoins are in cold storage. I'll give him time to take them out of cold storage wherever he left the offline wallet. More updates soon.
105  Economy / Services / Re: ULTRA LOW-COST WEB DEVELOPMENT SERVICES - STARTING AT $30) FOR SMALL PROJECT on: February 23, 2019, 08:28:23 PM
You offering your web development service with two screenshots? do not you think it looks ridiculous?
For example, look at what I see when clicking on your portfolio screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/n6LbEKp.png Am not impressed small are the chances that I want to hire you even if you are a good coder.
$20 annually cost domain name and hosting (less than one your small project). Or find your domain name and gains from me for free hosting space. make a neat portfolio.

I never said I was a great designer. I do mostly backend projects. I'm a thinker, not an artist.

I've offered to do OP's project. Last I heard he's waiting on his partner in California to send the funds. I've texted him on Telegram, no response since Sunday.

Developerx11 is very responsive to me on Discord. I told OP he can pay after. I pulled in a vagrant box, but after I did that no response from OP.

Developerx11's trust feedback isn't from somebody on DT, and in my opinion, it seemed like a punitive measure. (The DT user removed his negative feedback).

He is a very busy developer and works 20 hours a day. He's hired me to offset his very busy workload. Most of the people he's hired are either newbie who fuck up web servers or end up working for themselves.

I don't mind helping a busy developer. I'm a student, sure, but I won't do things I don't know how to do.

yeah he is busy work scamming arround

I'll still do your project - $75 and you can pay me after. I haven't received anything from him yet and I can't say  I'm associated with him. He offered me a job and I wanted to see for myself if he's a scammer.

He'll pay on Sunday, so he says. Will update everybody then. I hope you realize I don't know him that well and hope you recognize I'm not a scammer just because I took his job offer. Still a student. I need the money to pay loans. We can discuss further in this thread here in public if you like.
108  Other / Meta / the staff here should ban trolls on: February 22, 2019, 01:12:02 AM
I mean think about it: The staff on this forum are running a business. If this were a coffeeshop and they act inappropriately. Sometimes I may troll say troll newbies in the Services section, call them out on their inability to code and you can call that troling, and Sometimes I see brand new accounts posting no GitHub account, are assholes on their competitors. Some newbies are nice but most of them are so arrogant they say "you can't code"  when you either are too busy or so happen to still be watching Laracasts videos and has been doing so for a long time now.

Edit fixed word salad
109  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Do you give panhandlers money? on: February 21, 2019, 09:56:51 PM
I often see an old guy going through trashcans in my city. He is at least 70 years old, and I have no doubt about him being homeless. When I see him during the winter i buy him a coffee to go. He smiles, he is polite and is very grateful. He has two dogs with him that follow him wherever he goes. One day I gave him some change and he asked me if I had some leftover food so he could feed his dogs. It was cold outside and he said they were sick and hungry. Honestly, it broke my heart. I gave him some leftover chicken with some bread and watched him through the window. He took just one bite out of the chicken and divided the rest amongst his dogs, he divided the bread on 3 parts. I have never seen him drink or smoke, he doesn't beg for money, cares dearly for his dogs, even when he is in such a tough spot in his life. The guy has a big heart and deserves much more than life gave him.

Do you live in the US? We have a better system north of the border. My point is everything is taken care of here and nobody needs to panhandle in my country. I had more compassion for street people while I was in NYC. I don't mean to come across as a heartless prick. Some people here are either mentally ill or dont know our socialist system, but most people here are selfish drug addicts.

Perhaps you should give him an old tablet and tell him about faucets. It's more hygienic than dumpster diving and teaching an elderly person the basics of computing can make a huge difference in his life. There was an article in Wired about a group of homeless people who would meet at a park with free WiFi and made money on CoinHD and faucets. It's not much, but an extra dollar or two would allow him to buy himself a coffee.

111  Other / Serious discussion / Do you give panhandlers money? on: February 20, 2019, 05:29:15 AM
I live close to a big city's "junkie" neighboorhood. I live in subsidized housing. Some of my neighbours are not bums but there are quite a few of them who stand on a street corner and beg for change. This one guy, in particular, asks me for cigarettes. I gave him one once. The very next day he tells him I don't give him anything at all and calls me a "goof" and threatens me with violence. It sickens me that he lets on that he is homeless and yet he spends the money he makes panhandling on heroin. He's been offered a dishwashing job in a restaurant but only worked a day because he thinks it's easier to bum.

I don't mind the neighboorhood I live in too much but sometimes that panhandlers get to me. Often I get told to go fuck myself by a panhandler because I won't give them money. The sense of entitlement from these mooches is through the roof. I just bought two cigarettes from my neighbour and she didn't want to give me my 5 cents change. Not like I give a shit about a nickel but the principal of "ooh I will give it to you later" makes me not want to buy cigarettes from her ever again.

I used to have compassion for panhandlers, but now I just can't take their word for it when they tell me they're homeless. Canada is one of the best countries in the world when it comes to free housing and food and nobody has to ask for money. It's one thing to ask politely but it's quite another to feel entitled to the working man's dollar.

Do you give money to panhandlers?

I have asked him to recover my old bitcointaslk account and he has recovered an easily breakable hash. I would trust this guy.
114  Economy / Auctions / For sale - Cryptoflip source on: February 16, 2019, 02:29:30 AM
I am selling the source of the failed project Cryptoflip. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1836407.0) He abandoned the project. I have no interest in running this myself and I feel the source code is my property. Price starts at $100. The code has way too many bugs for me to care about to think. I used to have an alcohol and I coded it while drinking. I'm a better coder now anyway.

No. discuss your job offer here. This is interesting. I want DT users to be able to evaluate your trustworthiness.
116  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Developerx11 is Scammer on: February 15, 2019, 09:41:42 PM
@OP did you ever get your money back?

I offered to do the project for $75. I only asked for $10 just so I can get cigarettes. Does Developerx11 have a more serious drug problem?

BTW I call myself IdiotCoder because I don't want my clients to think I have a big ego like Developerx11 appears to have.

He never got anything back until this moment. I will open a thread again Patatas as I don't like his attitude and I consider him a spammer.

@idioticcoder, yes I have a big ego as I am well aware of my capabilities and knowledge, knowledge is power. Are you a developer and you don't have money for ciggaretes? That's something new.

I have talk with some people the past few days and I have concerns about the op if he really sent any "chips" or if he was scammed for real, unfortunately I can't check and no one can say if it is true or not.
I'm still a student, that's why I'm not making a ton of money yet. Why is it so common for scammers to troll me about how little money I'm not a thief. BTW, let's see your GitHub. If you're so good you'd have something to show for. Also, it's "cigarettes", not "cigeretes". My grammar checker is getting mad at your post.

What do you expect? They're the number one online store and I don't think they manage to stay on top without employees exploitation.

Similar to Nike sweatshop in Bangladesh or any parts of Asia, willing to be paid for cheap and those capitalist and milking them to the last drop.

I've heard from my friend who worked there that it's a demanding job but I thought I would be able to do it because I ran a half-marathon in 2013. I was expecting that, because I'm an athlete, I could handle walking around 10 miles a day because I ran 20k. Sadly, that's not how human kinetics work.
119  Other / Meta / Re: Ban GameProtect? on: February 14, 2019, 07:31:19 PM
There were alrrady some threads against him, this one comes again. Good alternstive example of game-protect is quickseller, seems on this forum blaming others for non valid reasons or claiming false "claims" against others' businesses isn't bannable. But they got red trusts where you can see references which overally suggest not to listen to this users and just ignore, that's end of story.

why is this the case? I didn't know about unit testing at the time so yes my site was buggy. His attitude was he was an authority figure and newbies were listening to him. Yes, my site had bugs,  but it's not completely my fault. My partner was supposed to test the withdraw system.

As posted earlier, he has a tendency to blackmail and harasses casino owners of all sizes. We weren't ready yet, but he was already trolling us. extortion, blackmail and slander are illegal, so the forum should enforce these laws. it's not as simple as banning him because newbies think he is an authority.
