1001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Dying on: January 14, 2021, 12:34:33 PM
I think you are just thinking too much my friend. Just let the Bitcoin economy works there is no problem regarding the rising price of Bitcoin in fact it was a sign of growing Bitcoin demand so in my opinion there's no reason, for now, to worry that Bitcoin will die. just ride with the flow and dont counter it.
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH vs competitors - 2021 performance graph on: January 13, 2021, 10:33:12 AM
IMHO, I believe that if Ethereum will not solve its monstrous fee problem it will create a negative effect on their side because many users are already disappointed with the current situation, It's on the top spot for now but it's not impossible to surpass by any of the following competitors because every time you do a transaction especially in sending tokens is already cost too much with a cost average of $10 dollars while on the Binance Smart Chain its just costs $0.06 cents Ethereum was slowly eaten by the greed. for me, Binance and Polkadot will have the potentials to dethrone Ethereum.
1003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: again a Bitcoin millionaire who forgot his password on: January 13, 2021, 10:19:15 AM
The $22 million dollars was a huge amount, and it's unfortunate to say that those millions will not be recovered anymore without those private key or passwords so those bitcoins will be locked forever in the Blockchain another story of neglect of an important thing like passwords and keys, its should be a lesson to everybody that holds and using cryptocurrencies.
1004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin ever be use as other country currency on: January 12, 2021, 10:15:51 AM
Can Bitcoin ever be use as other country currency and it will still maintain it decentralized digital currency?

IMHO, I believe it is not, because the government won't allow it to happen anyway how can you fit the centralized governance to the decentralized functions of Bitcoin, it's too complicated, thats, why both systems are, can co-exist without interfering with each other, with the current set up the government will remain using its traditional fiat or somehow they want to build CBDC or the digital version of its currency.
1005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Issue withdrawing from Metamask on: January 12, 2021, 10:05:36 AM
I'm also experiencing it lately grey button and not blue when I was trying to withdraw, I began to hit Ethereum because I felt I was robbed by the fees that they want and the gas limit is too high imagine 330000, for me that was a form of corruption when you can do an Eth transaction the gas limit is only 21000 but on Metamask it was 333000 disgusting BSC and Tron is far better compared to this slowly turning to be greedy Ethereum network.
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What triggers altcoin season??? on: January 12, 2021, 09:52:34 AM
Everyone keeps singing about altcoin season but I have few questions about this altcoin season

1. Are whales the backbone of altcoin season?

I meant are whales responsible for altcoin seasons? Some said when bitcoin is done with uptrend in bullruns whales will sell their btc and opt into altcoins to pump them, is this true?

2. Or is Bitcoin going to spreads it's profits down to altcoins at a certain point? Pls don't laugh I'm just trying to know what can trigger altcoin season

Some are even saying things could be different this time around

I believe that the focus of this current bullish market trend is Bitcoin and only a few altcoins were gained organic growth, I believe that because investors are not the same as it was in 2017-2018 respectively since most of the involve investors now is from the financial institution thats why they have already known when and where to invest these time. preferably not on altcoins because we can see the data in CMC and CoinGecko.
1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why does $ETH lead the bull markets? on: January 11, 2021, 07:29:51 AM
Lately I have been having alot of thoughts about the market.

Why does $ETH lead the bull markets?

Probably because $BTC is a bet in the past

$ETH is a bet on the future

while $BET although still undervalued is a bet on a self-evolving programmable money growing it's Mcap in leaps and bounds

I believe Ethereum is leading now on the Altcoin market but not on the entire crypto market because Bitcoin was still leading in the cryptocurrency market, by the way, I dont know much about the BET project that you mentioned I guess you should include some link about that project so that we can examine.
1008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paper money vs Digital currency on: January 11, 2021, 07:02:45 AM
IMHO, I believe that time will come and these awareness issues will be solved through Internet usage because cryptocurrencies are the product of a revolutionized network called the Internet that's why people's awareness will rely on internet usage too, to advertise the cryptocurrency use and its importance. that's what I believe and it was already happening now.
1009  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bit Coin dropped 12% since morning ,where is it going? on: January 11, 2021, 06:49:22 AM
Wow, what a ride . I sold for cash on Friday. I'm buying back in when I see it level off for 2 weeks . I made 400% on Friday ,but 100 will be ok this time . Hang onto your hat folks ,were in for a real ride ,yipee kiyi !

What an intense price drop or correction in just a day, But as always said Bitcoin is a volatile asset thats why everyone shouldn't be surprised when we see that huge price drop, but the price was still around $30K so it still big and far from $18K as other was predicted so let us wait and see.
1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remember when ETH was $1400 a few years ago then crashed to $70 as BTC crashed? on: January 09, 2021, 12:47:37 PM
ETH really is a shitcoin with no intrinsic value. Its not a store of value since when bitcoin crashes 20% then ETH crashes 50%. When Bitcoin rises ETH barely follows, ETH is still 65% down compared to the recent BTC rise.

2018: Bitcoin $19000, ETH $1400
2021: Bitcoin $32000, ETH $1000

If you stayed in ETH you have lost more money than Enron. ETH is a scam.

There is alot of new projects that do everything better than ETH or will in the future. Let us find something better than ETH that we can all buy for cheap now have a giant distribution for everyone and then go to the moon! No need to make ETH devs and people owning 50000 ETH rich for sucking $20 transaction fees out of us.

I think this is a strong statement against Ethereum, But I suspect that you are a supporter of those projects that quietly dubbed as an Ethereum killer. By the way, we are all bound by our own opinion and if you think that ETH is not worthy for your investment then it's only yours and not ours, The data is all against your accusation if Ethereum is a shitcoin like what you said, it should not be in the top spot, the most of the Defi sector was all using Ethereum compared to your so-called Ethereum Killer. so it's clear as the sunshine Ethereum is not a shitcoin but it has a flaw that needs to be fixed by continued development.
1011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why You Should Not Buy Bitcoin with PayPal on: January 09, 2021, 12:31:29 PM
PayPal’s cryptocurrency integration is an embarrassing attempt to deceive non-crypto people

Don't know why not many talk about this, but PayPal will not allow.

- No deposits or withdraws of cryptocurrency.
- No paying with cryptocurrency or sending cryptocurrency to other users.
- You will not have access to your private keys.

https://temporaryerror.com/why-you-should-not-buy-bitcoin-with-paypal/

If that's the case why we patronized that kind of lousy service, there's a lot of platforms out there that providing a better service than Paypal. By the way, Paypal's crypto integration only serves as a kind of promotion, All we know that Paypal is a popular payment Gateway and also a mainstream player so the crypto industry has benefited a little from that so-called PayPal crypto adoption.
1012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First crypto Bank in the world on: January 09, 2021, 12:21:18 PM
I think the concept of the Crypto Bank is not new, In fact, many platforms are already claiming that they are the first one. But my point is are they needed? for me it is not because it's a concept of Centralization, and we are talking cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, etc. which is promoting decentralization so that it does not make sense to me. The Industry just needs a bridge but not a bank with a centralized function. But thats only my opinion and I'm not an expert about it.
1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which stablecoin is best? on: January 07, 2021, 12:24:09 PM
I used to use USD tether all the time and still using it for trading purposes and liquidity purpose but recently we have seen a FUD or may be truth that SEC may have issue against them although they clarified that they are running it under registered business etc etc. Is tether risky from that purpose? Even if SEC warrant something like XRP, what will happen to Tether?
What about another alternative stablecoin?

Long before I was using USDT for keeping my profit safe after my full day trading session, But after the red flag was raised on the Tether (USDT) questioning that it was not 100 backed with fiat/dollar. I was doubting already thats why now I was using BinanceUSD or BUSD for the same purpose I believe it's more stable and safe because it was guaranteed by Binance itself.
1014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Winkelvoss twins made a great move on: January 07, 2021, 12:10:36 PM
Who has ever heard of the winkelvoss twins brother?
Let's get infrom about them, they were students of Harvard University with no vision about crypto currency  the had dreams of a social network platform to connect different universities together and need the help of mark (CEO of Facebook to materialize their dreams with his coding skills, alll things fail apart as mark was sued for stealing their idea and developing it into Facebook .
They won the case and were paid $65 million.
But the fact I would like to bring is that they investing $11million dollars on bitcoin when it was still $7 😏
Would you say it was a crazy idea at that time?
But they can proudly beat their chest and say they were the first bitcoin billionaire's  in world history. They never sold a single piece of bitcoin no matter the pump or dumb
https://www.facebook.com/SarcasmLol/videos/1126581577692605/

That was a huge success for the Winklevoss twins, just Imagine they just bought bitcoin for $7 dollars. But its a shame on Zuckerberg, for stealing their idea, by the way, Bitcoin price seems not to stop climbing soon it will be above the $40K price level, I wish I have not spent my bitcoin on gambling.
1015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tell me about some other low cap gems please; I want to buy on: January 06, 2021, 12:55:06 PM
I already have gems like $BET $LTC $ADA & $BNB already, stop being greedy, shill me some other low cap gems I should buy - like now

I think you should see it and find it for yourself mate, just visit the CMC or CoinGecko there you can find any promising coins and tokens that you want, stop asking from other users because some might give you their own choices, you should use your own judgment by comparing those data and insight from CMC and CoinGecko. in that case you would not blame anybody if something happens in the market.
1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH overpriced? on: January 04, 2021, 01:26:41 PM
I think it should be clear by the Eth developers about these token supply issues, It was always a hot topic about Ethereum when it comes to its total supply,  By the way, it seems that Ethereum investors and users have no serious reaction to this accusation or topic. Today Ethereum price was hit $1164 but the worst thing is the monstrous gas fees are so annoying I feel I was rob every time I'm sending Ether.
1017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Privacy coins suits DEX on: January 02, 2021, 09:46:09 AM
Privacy coins are getting delisted from some centralized exchanges but I do feel that the best place for privacy coins is DEX exchanges because of their anonymous use cases, also I think that privacy coins represents the real decentralization than other projects trying to claim decentralized..

IMHO, I think that was a good idea and their last refuge, due to delisting frenzies of privacy-centric coins in the centralized crypto exchange market, The best thing to do for these platforms is to unite now to create a DEX suite that was equipped with good features and functions that was comparable to the Centralized crypto exchange but it is up to them after all they will be the ones who affected the most.
1018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex delisting XMR, DASH and ZEC. Will this affect Bitcoin? on: January 02, 2021, 09:39:11 AM
That was expected because of the SEC pressures from those platforms that were based or have a business operation in the US territory, the Monero's privacy-centric features were considered by US SEC and other agencies as a potential threat to their operation because of its superb privacy function. and we are not surprised if many other exchanges will follow that move sooner or later.
1019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 2021 resolution on: January 01, 2021, 09:26:52 AM
Happy New Year Everyone I created this thread to know what is your Bitcoin or crypto new years resolution.
And since I am the creator of the thread I would be the first to say my resolution.
1. I would try to avoid overspending my money on games and gambling so my crypto savings wouldn't be affected.
2. I would try to invest regularly each time I would recieve my salary.
3. I would try to spend my money wisely and avoid unnecessary purchases.
I hope I could do all of this till the end of 2021 and see how much I have save.

The majority of my Bitcoin was lost in Gambling particularly in the crash game, I think it should be removed from my system totally, Thats was my Bitcoin resolution for 2021 and I hope I can successfully remove it from my habit because it's cost me much and because of this I was not able to pay my loan on time
thats why Gambling is not good because it was addictive and can be ruined your life.
1020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: want to invest .. on: December 30, 2020, 01:29:34 PM

After seeing the growth in the price of the coin in the past few weeks, it leaves us confused as to which investment to make. I want to invest in all of the coins. but only a little capital owned. what action am i taking right now?

You know mate we have the same mindset in common, but that was before, I really want to invest in most of the cryptocurrencies way back in 2017-2018 I bought ICO tokens from the money that I was loaned but the worst is the market is slump for more than 1 year of long bearish sentiment and the results most of my holdings have become worthless, thats why today, I realized that holding many tokens is not good, because it can affect your decision on what to do on other coins/token, But I still believe in diversification but it should be limited to 3-5 coins/tokens but make sure that those cryptocurrencies are good and promising.
