During the last few months of his life, Hal Finney and his family were subjected to a vicious swatting attack where people called cops on his home. Hal was already immobile and it was not easy for him and his family to comply with the police demands to leave the home while they searched for evidence of guns or whatever supported the swatter's accusations.
Perhaps the Finney household is still being regularly harassed or even threatened by those that think his wife has the private keys to the Satoshi bitcoin stash or something. So an article like this would help dissuade those rumors, which is perhaps Lopp's main motivation behind writing it.

I'm not using coins.ph anymore since my account got banned, haha.
This actually happened to me with Gcrypto, and I have no idea why... They won't tell me what I did wrong, just that I can't use their service anymore. I guess Coins.ph and Maya uses something different than PDAX for their backend, because the email was from PDAX. Kind of frustrating but they never replied to me so I have to move on. The weird thing about Coins.ph is that for a few years, I wasn't allowed to deposit or purchase XRP from them. But then when they got bought by the new owner, they changed the rules, so now I can deposit it again... but I almost never use XRP. I see the fees are cheaper and it confirms fast but I have a hard time finding it anyway.

I don't want to have any arguments with people who make baseless accusations. If it appears that I am cheating in a campaign, such as registering two accounts in one campaign, I can accept it. You have tagged this ETH transaction as tag negative.
You obviously missed the whole first part. You used the same Telegram handle as Maxre, and Maxre used the same Bitcoin address as irsada. That's all the proof that is required to link you to irsada. irsada trust: | YOSHIE | | 2023-04-09 | | Reference | | This account is suspected of being sold/purchased or hacked and Alt is connected. |
The blockchain evidence serves to help confirm that these are indeed your alt accounts.

Let's continue our analysis of contemporary quarterbacks. Up for today we have Jimmy Garoppolo, currently of the Las Vegas Raiders. Unfortunately Jimmy has been ruled out for his next game, but I daresay the Raiders are decently happy to get him from the 49ers. Jimmy Garoppolo ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fupload.wikimedia.org%2Fwikipedia%2Fcommons%2Fthumb%2F8%2F83%2FRaiders_QB_visits_Nellis_Airmen_%25281%2529_%2528cropped%2529.jpg%2F220px-Raiders_QB_visits_Nellis_Airmen_%25281%2529_%2528cropped%2529.jpg&t=663&c=2EPu6h6P2pZ91Q) Height: A (6'2") Chin: B+ Forehead: B Voice: A He's 3-2 so far this year, and given what he has to work with, that's not bad at all. Fun Jimmy G fact: upon signing with the Raiders, he was offered free sex for life from a Las Vegas brothel.

If we're listing most iconic threads from the Off-Topic section, no list would be complete without mentioning this one: Let's talk about how hot Asian girls are. [NSFW]It is 187 pages of exactly what the title infers, with (NSFW) pics to back up the discussion. This thread is the best topic on bitcointalk.
It ran for 3.5 years before it got locked. There was one member, dragonbird, who posted there 414 times... as a matter of fact, every post he ever made on the forum was in that thread, lol. He was a dedicated expert on the subject.

1 more, this account has never been linked to any account.
That's not true. One of your neutral feedbacks has a link that references a connection to Maxre: Maxre has been connected to irsada: 1. Both accounts have been previously red trusted. In addition, on the ETH side of things, this address has deposits from inanilujimi, irsada, and Maxre, which pretty much seals that they are alt accounts. Same thing can be seen here: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftalkimg.com%2Fimages%2F2023%2F10%2F21%2FTwJoC.png&t=663&c=SrZNXNSO-4Xe5Q) There are two other accounts also making deposits to this address, zeingrind777 and Andreas_bakunin, who share the same address. zeingrind777 is already banned.

I was wondering why all withdrawals were suspended the other day... every type of withdrawal or cashout was suspended, not just crypto withdrawals (which I never do anyway b/c the fees tend to be way too high). These days I mostly just deposit pesos in Coins.ph and do my crypto exchange to pesos somewhere else... They are still the only app that allows me to send money to myself via M Lhuillier.
I'm not sure I trust them too much anymore... Too bad since I had an account with them since 2016.

If we don't come down firmly on AI now, eventually there will be automated posting services... Multi-accounting shitposters are too lazy to invent them themselves but they would certainly pay to have something write on their behalf. I'm reminded of the case of Petulino who claims to have paid a "friend" to write posts on his behalf... the only problem is his friend was using AI and slightly tweaking the results to evade the detectors. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftalkimg.com%2Fimages%2F2023%2F10%2F21%2FTw2pI.png&t=663&c=-FbODBxXKh68sg) I'm willing to bet half the posts written in those cricket and football discussion threads are AI-generated. They seem to be translated from some news source and then run through AI, but I can't exactly prove it. and buddy is a mother fucking bot. I say let me have my buddy bot auto post twenty four times while I sleep. then buddy will never fucking catch me.
You can't beat ChartBuddy, phil. He's not just a bot, he's a record wrecking machine. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fy.yarn.co%2Fa783bff5-055b-45d0-9627-0222140992ff_text.gif&t=663&c=GfIP5QJoO5UqNQ)

Yes, the post in question does appear to be at least AI-assisted. Hivemoderation.com - 71.7% likely to contain AI Sapling.ai - 91.2% fake Copyleaks - "AI Content Detected" Personally I haven't been reporting many AI-assisted posts written by newbies or accounts not in signature campaigns. I noticed that only sometimes they get deleted. AI posts by accounts in signature campaigns are nearly always deleted. As others have pointed it out, its pretty much cheating, and nobody wants to read them, anyway. Absolutely ridiculous.
More or less ridiculous than using a purchased account to pipe up in places like Meta?

I wonder if someone at Cointelegraph knowingly started this fake news in an attempt to crash the market. After everyone realized the news was fake, it would cause the market to crash, allowing them or their accomplices to accumulate at lower prices.
If so, it seems their plan backfired since bitcoin has only gone up since and shows no sign of crashing.
The prevailing conspiracy theory is that the "intern" responsible for the tweet had a Rollbit account in which they placed a 1,000x long on Bitcoin moments prior to publishing the tweet (I think it lets you have even higher leverage than that, which indeed makes it completely like gambling and not at all like trading). Of course there is no evidence to support the conspiracy, but its highly likely some sort of shenanigans took place.

Too bad the OP of this thread never followed through with the manufacture of these... they might have been worth good money right now. He initially started the idea in June 2014... This was right before the start of Rare Pepes on Counterparty, which is pretty much the most iconic bitcoin art collection. Just wanted to bookmark this thread with a comment for future revisiting.

To play devils advocate, the upside of this is it will deter criminality in those particular pools. E.g., hackers, thieves, scammers & fraudulent team members / influencers will be forced to use other methods for the sake of dumping their ill-gotten tokens. On the downside, KYC sucks & is stupid, and I think it can still be faked using stolen identities. Honestly it makes no difference to me... I use Uniswap about once a year on average.

Seems like you learned the lesson already, so not much to say in that regard. I have supported your flag and added my own tag. For anybody who wonders why I would believe this screenshot evidence of a scam and not others, the main reason is HedgeFX has bothered to build a reputation here for himself over the years, whereas Support@web3devs has not. Someone didn't pay for a worthless coin, which is just some number in some app. In the same way, user Support@web3devs can open scam accusations, because someone offered him junk for $25 per unit.
Correct me if I'm wrong but it appears Support@web3devs offered the $25 first.

The majority of money I made in the crypto market has been thanks to Dogecoin... not just the massive pump per se, but the fact that Dogeparty was created in 2014 and the assets I made on it then are considered to be collector's items now. So it will always hold a special place in my heart, even if Elon never actually integrates it with Twitter (excuse me, with "X").

OK today let's take a look at another contemporary QB... is he destined for greatness? Patrick Mahomes ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fupload.wikimedia.org%2Fwikipedia%2Fcommons%2Fthumb%2F9%2F92%2FPatrick_Mahomes_%252851615475056%2529.jpg%2F220px-Patrick_Mahomes_%252851615475056%2529.jpg&t=663&c=5T8raYQJKQgHHQ) Height: A (6'2") Chin: B- (goatee is a giveaway sign that a less-than-stellar-QB-chin may be hiding) Forehead: B- Voice: C (sounds a bit like Kermit the Frog) Interestingly, Mahomes is highly regarded as one of the league's premier quarterbacks. He's got moves inside and out of the pocket, precision aim, and a keen running game as well. However, our analysis suggests his career may not be long-lived. To his credit, he already has 2 Super Bowls under his belt, and 2 children as well. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Will he hold up for a decades-long career? We'll see...

How about Copper Member Newbie jiso? His posts look like generic AI spam, but I can't really prove it. Alright lets see what we got (font size changes removed): jisoPost #1: Without Bitcoin, the landscape of digital payments, finance, and technology would be drastically different. Here are a few key points to consider:
**1. Cryptocurrency:** Bitcoin is the first and most well-known cryptocurrency. Without it, the concept of decentralized digital currency may not even exist, or at least not be as prevalent and widely adopted as it is today.
**2. Blockchain Technology:** Bitcoin introduced the world to blockchain technology, a distributed ledger system that allows for secure and transparent transactions. Without Bitcoin, this technology might not have been discovered or developed to the extent it is now, impacting not just financial systems, but also supply chain, healthcare, and many other industries.
**3. Financial Sovereignty:** Bitcoin has given people the ability to be their own bank, especially people in countries with unstable currencies or restrictive financial policies. Without Bitcoin, these people might not have an alternative to their country's banking systems.
**4. Innovations in Financial Systems:** Bitcoin's influence has led traditional financial institutions to innovate and adapt. Without it, we might not see the same level of interest in digital currency from banks, or the development of concepts like Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs).
**5. Investment Opportunities:** Bitcoin has created a whole new asset class for investment. Its potential for high returns (albeit with high volatility) has attracted individual and institutional investors globally. Without Bitcoin, these opportunities would not exist.
Therefore, while it's difficult to predict exactly what the world would look like without Bitcoin, it's clear that its absence would have significant implications across a number of industries and areas of life.
Hive: 100% likely to be AI-generated Sapling.ai: 99.9% fake Post #2: Bitcoin halving is a mechanism in which the reward for mining new blocks in the Bitcoin blockchain is halved approximately every four years. This was designed by Bitcoin's creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, to control inflation by reducing the rate at which new Bitcoins are introduced into circulation.
When Bitcoin was first launched in 2009, the block reward was 50 Bitcoins. The first halving occurred in November 2012, reducing the block reward to 25 Bitcoins. The second halving happened in July 2016, reducing the reward to 12.5 Bitcoins, and the most recent halving took place in May 2020, lowering the reward to 6.25 Bitcoins.
The halving mechanism has significant implications for Bitcoin's value. The reduced supply of new Bitcoins often leads to an increase in price, as demand remains constant or increases. However, it also makes mining less profitable in the short-term, especially for miners with high operational costs or older, less efficient hardware.
Hive: 100% likely to be AI-generated Sapling.ai: 100% fake Post #3: Bitcoin mining is a process that involves solving complex mathematical problems to validate transactions and secure the Bitcoin network. Here's a basic overview of how it works:
**1. Transaction Verification:** When a Bitcoin transaction is made, it is grouped with others into a block. Miners verify these transactions as valid, which involves checking the transaction details against the transaction history stored in the blockchain.
**2. Proof of Work:** The miners then compete to solve a complex mathematical problem based on a cryptographic hash algorithm. The solution to the problem is called the Proof of Work.
**3. Block Addition:** The first miner who solves the problem gets to add the new block of transactions to the blockchain. This is why it's called "mining" - just as a miner digs for gold, a Bitcoin miner "digs" for new blocks.
**4. Reward:** In return for their efforts, the miner receives a reward, which as of my knowledge cutoff in 2021 is 6.25 Bitcoins. They also receive the transaction fees from the transactions included in the new block.
This process repeats approximately every 10 minutes for every new block. The difficulty of the mathematical problem adjusts approximately every two weeks to ensure that the block processing time remains around 10 minutes.
It's important to note that mining requires significant computational resources and electricity. As more miners join the network and the number of transactions increases, the complexity of the problems and the computational power required to solve them also increases.
Bitcoin mining plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and security of the Bitcoin network. By solving the complex problems, miners make it extremely difficult for anyone to alter past transactions, as doing so would require re-mining all the subsequent blocks.
Hive: 100% likely to be AI-generated Sapling.ai: 100% fake Am reporting all 3 posts... his other 4 more recent posts are also highly likely to be AI... I also reported them as AI spam.
Also, as a sidenote, Copyleaks is no longer providing a % accuracy for its findings but I think it OK to use as a 3rd source after Hive and Sapling.
However, I don't have the expertise to do something like this

This will be my third year with this LN Node and i can assure you i am way behind in terms of cost, but i am way in front, in terms of knowledge/understanding and access to new technology within the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Damn bro this is some next level shit. I applaud your efforts, and its truly commendable to put yourself (and all that BTC) on the forefront of the tech like this. I could do with a less congested mempool myself. Good luck!
