1001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: May 24, 2023, 06:04:09 AM
Barcelona have confirmed themselves as champions so there is no more motivation for them to win the match, in fact this is the right time for the coach to rotate players or try some new tactics, this defeat is not surprising in my opinion.

The defeat is real surprising to me cause I didn’t expect Barcelona to have lost that game despite the fact they had been dominating the game and having a lot of chances at scoring goals. When they had conceded the first and second goal, I had no fears cause I still had some belief that Barcelona could still equalize and as well have the chance to win the game.

The second half of the game was no better as Barcelona still found it difficult to score. Not until they conceded a third goal that they were able to get a consolation goal of theirs. Perhaps they very well may not be any motivation like before but they did play well and had a lot of chances but were just unlucky to score more goal than they did.
1002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 23, 2023, 08:18:50 AM
Leicester only had one chance to score at that match and they had no chance to change the course of the match to be in their control, but Leicester was lucky enough to keep their net from conceding goals with 23 shots from Newcastle, only this draw has not been able to improve Leicester's ranking which is still are in the bottom three.

Leicester City had just one good opportunity to score after being pressured all through. Pope, the Newcastle goalie was up and doing and saved a very good shot that would have definitely led to a goal. Leicester City on the other hand, had to struggle hard to keep Newcastle who was almost always at their half of the pitch from scoring. Newcastle managed to have more than 20 attempts at scoring with only 4 being in target. They had clearly dominated the game and had some really good opportunities but couldn’t find the back of the net. Leicester is still sitting amongst the bottom three in the EPL table.
1003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 22, 2023, 10:13:59 PM

For Manchester United this is a great opportunity to shift Newcastle in 3rd place in the standings and with the remaining two matches that Manchester United have it seems they have the opportunity to do just that. For Leicester they still have hope in one game remaining next week and if they manage to win then they still have a chance to appear in the EPL next season, but with a note that Everton have to lose.

It’s a great opportunity for Manchester United to overtake Newcastle and take their spot on the third place on the league table. Hopefully Manchester United would win their remaining games but I honestly can’t trust them to do that. Either way, Newcastle seem to have already qualified for the Champions League next season and that could be classified as an achievement for the club.
Having played a goalless draw against Leicester City, I had thought it would be an easy win for Newcastle but Leicester held their own till the end depriving Newcastle of a win.

It really hurts for arsenal. Arsenal was leading the competition for about 248 days and then city just need a few weeks to destroy it. What a great performance from manchester city. City deserves EPL title again due to the its consistentcy in the premier league right now. Im very glad to say that if city potentially to take the treble winners. Intermilan becomes the toughest competitor for manchester city this season.

It's great to see that the match between two strongest team in the two league.
Intermilan seems underrated team at this moment compared with manchester city. I think that intermilan may win UCL against city.

It must hurt Arsenal a bit to lose out on winning the EPL title and after playing very well and being in the lead for a while. But even Arsenal supporters would admit if they’re being honest that Manchester City deserves this title after playing so beautifully and consistently winning in their games played.

I do not think Inter Milan are being underrated. No doubt, there are a very strong team, they’re in form and they’re a force to reckon with in the Serie A. And it’s not an easy feat to make it to the finals of the Champions League so Inter Milan is definitely not a push over. They’ve got great stats. But Manchester City is on another level. They’re in almost perfect form and has proven they could still win games without some of their finest players playing.
In my opinion, Manchester City is at the moment, playing a lot better and is being talked about cause of their winning spree and goal scoring abilities. So perhaps that is why some may feel Inter Milan is being underrated. Both teams has a chance at winning and I think Manchester City’s chances are greater.

Still, Chelsea did Manchester City the honour today in handing them there most merited EPL trophy. It was glorious still for Manchester City and I wonder what it would be for the Chelsea team that were out there.
With one leaue closed, even with games to be played, the UCL is on the way and they need to bring it to England this season.

Did anyone every think Chelsea with their present form could stop Manchester City? I along with I assume would be a lot of people predicted a Manchester City win. Although I had thought City would score more goals than it did. This in my opinion, shows that Chelsea did try their best in holding back City’s advances.
Chelsea did try and had some good Vance’s but was denied all the time. It’s obvious Pep was initially relaxed from the players he used when starting the first half. Congratulations to Manchester City on winning the EPL.
1006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 21, 2023, 04:49:10 PM
60 minutes of play are over but Chelsea are still not improving. so my prediction doesn't look like Chelsea can do any good. Man city is enough to win this match with Chelsea.  But on the one hand, there is a fear that when the game is in the final stage or in extra time, when the game starts to get a different tension, many unexpected goals can be scored by either team. this is seen in many matches so if Chelsea can use that time then maybe they can score a goal and draw the match.

I don’t think Chelsea could draw this game. They’ve been trying in their attacks but the City goalie has been up and doing. Manchester City has brought in their big guns in the form of Haaland and De Bruyne. With this duo, the tempo and the morale of the players on the pitch would have increased significantly, enough to score another goal.

It’s the 84th minute into the game and I still believe Manchester City can still be able to score another goal to add to the one they’ve got already. They’ve been playing well and deserve this win and the premier league title in the end. I don’t see Chelsea equalizing at this moment. Lampard knows this and brought in defenders like Koulibaly to help defend against another goal.
1007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 21, 2023, 03:52:21 PM
Manchester city is playing against Chelsea currently, they are in first half and the match looks so easy for Manchester City, they are already winning Chelsea 1-0, the funniest part is they bench most of their players, they are really confident that they will win Chelsea and incase if they don’t win, they are still the winner of the premier league, they decided to bench most of their main players just to reserve them against inter Milan in champions league. They have already win the premier league the only thing left for them to fight for is the champions league.

The match is at the half time mark and are still winning by one goal. Manchester City has been so far dominating the game. Chelsea has had some good chances at scoring but have been denied so far.
Manchester City has had some of their good players on substitute but it seems they wouldn’t be needed in this game as the players being used are capable of winning the game.

The standard City has been playing has been superb as always and are on the way to claim another win. Perhaps Pep may introduce Grealish in the second half of the game and he would definitely make moves that would lead to goals. Nevertheless, I think Manchester City would score another goal in the second half even without Pep substituting any player.
1008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 21, 2023, 02:51:14 PM
The game between Manchester City and Chelsea is about to begin. I know with football, the win could go either ways and both teams have a chance to win. I know it would be difficult for Chelsea to win Manchester City who is in almost perfect form.

I particularly feel about sorry for Sterling who have to face and probably lose to his former teammates. I don’t think Chelsea have any good chance of winning the game. Despite Manchester City having some of their star players amongst the substitutes, the players starting the game is also dangerous and Pep may end up not substituting anyone. Chelsea may pull off a surprise and win or have a draw with City.
1009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 21, 2023, 03:11:45 AM

After Arsenal lost to Manchester City and effectively ended their title hopes, I knew it wouldn’t be difficult for Manchester City not to win the Premier League again this season. Mikel Arteta has already given up hope after declaring that they have already accomplished something fantastic this season, namely qualification for the Champions League. After that statement, I knew the title competition was gone, and Arsenal will gladly take whatever position they end up in the league because their champion league status for next season is already assured.

I think so too. After Arsenal lost to Manchester City late last month, I knew their hopes of winning the league was starting to diminish. They have had a very good run and it’s only a pity they couldn’t actually claim the first place. I guess they’re satisfied with second place and qualifying for the champions league next season.

I definitely wasn’t expecting a loss from Arsenal when they had met with Nottm Forest. Arsenal had a whole lot of time with the ball in their possession but couldn’t make anything of it. They had made a very bad blunder with their passing that caused their opponents to put in a goal and then found it impossible to equalize.
1010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 20, 2023, 03:21:46 PM
In the first half Manchester United were 1 goal ahead of Bournemouth through Casemiro's goal in the 9th minute and the score lasted until the end of the first half, and I saw that Bournemouth played very well and created several opportunities. And Manchester United must be wary of Bournemouth's Dominic Solanke who almost scored two goals and De Gea's 1 shot saved him, another with a thin header over De Gea's crossbar.
Even though in the first half Manchester United dominated the game, in the second half I hope Manchester United must remain vigilant against Bournemouth because in the first half they continued to attack.

The second half of the game has started and so far, Manchester United is holding their own. They haven’t been playing badly and are still actively trying to get another goal. They do need to score another goal. I think Martial should have been allowed more playing time but I guess there’s a reason for taking him off when they did.
Manchester United has had a lot of chances but can’t seem to be on target most of the time. But so far, they’ve been playing good and if they keep at it, it’s only a matter of time before they put in another goal. I believe another goal is on the works.
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 19, 2023, 04:50:55 PM
Manchester City's chances of winning the trophy have greatly increased due to the defeat of Real Madrid in the Champions League. However, Real Madrid were eliminated from the UCL by beating Manchester City by four goals in the second leg.

Inter Milan are relatively weak opponents for Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League. But Inter Milan has a specialty, they can play a very good defense, if for some reason Inter Milan can score a goal against Manchester City, then it will be very difficult for Manchester City to come back in that match, because in the whole season of UCL, I have seen Inter Milan play a great defense. We will enjoy the UCL final match between Manchester City and Inter Milan.

Yeah, Manchester City’s chances of winning the Champions League trophy this season is looking really bright. Having comfortably defeated Madrid who I thought would be a real threat, it’s clear that City is unstoppable in its quest to lift the trophy. Now, only If they could defeat their opponent Inter Milan who is also fighting for the trophy.

Comparing forms and goal scoring abilities, Man City looks a lot better compared to opponent Inter Milan. I wonder how they would be able to hold Man city back. After losing out due to being eliminated by Madrid in the previous season, they’re out to claim the trophy. After having their revenge on Real Madrid, they’re now set and focused on winning that title at all costs. I don’t think Milan’s defense would be able to stop Man city’s forward. It would be interesting watching them try though.
1012  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you spend more-do you get more? on: May 19, 2023, 01:37:44 PM
There is an opinion that the more money you spend, the more you get in return, it is interesting to find out who really works in this direction.

I think the saying should be “the more money you spend in trying to make more money, the more money you get in return”. You can’t spend money on frivolous activities and hope to get some more money in return. It’s absurd.
There’s a phrase I know which is  “making your money work for you”. This entails having some good and viable investments and perhaps some sort of business that would actually bring in profits for you after you must have sunk some good money into it. You’ve got to spend some money to make more money and I don’t mean buying things you would have no need for later on.
1013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 19, 2023, 01:24:31 PM
It must be admitted that Manchester City's strength this season is quite strong and not even just Real Madrid, but I'm sure other teams this season will not be able to hold back Manchester City's progress.
and Pep Guardiola managed to improve the performance and consistency of this team compared to last season.
so the victory that Man City won was very reasonable.

the opponent they will face in the final will be Inter Milan, in terms of performance the Man City team is far superior, if no big surprises will happen then I think Man City will win the UCL this season easily.

Inter Milan should be prepared to have a tough game against Manchester City. I know it and I’m sure they do too. It wouldn’t be a surprise if Manchester City goes ahead and comfortably win this game. Looking at their form and also with the way they’ve been playing, Manchester City is the clear favorite to win the game.
Having reached the finals, there is just one team standing in City’s way also hoping to claim the title of the Champions League winners.
Same as your thoughts, I too think Manchester City has what it takes to win Inter and claim the Champions League trophy.
1014  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Factors that's why others are hesitant to start in crypto on: May 19, 2023, 09:45:02 AM
I think people fear what they do not know nor understand. That’s how it is. Same with bitcoin, there are a lot of things people do not understand and their thoughts and reasoning would be to best stay away from those things. I wouldn’t blame them. The unknown can also be scary and dangerous.

I think people are rightly hesitant to want to talk to other people about bitcoin and crypto in general. It’s crazy what people can do when things don’t go as they had expected.
People think bitcoin to be a scam because they actually don’t know a thing about it. They just hear and absorb trash from other trash talkers without actually trying to find things out for themselves. These people form their opinions from other people biased thoughts.
1015  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: May 19, 2023, 09:07:39 AM
Bitcoin and some cryptocurrencies are now increasingly popular and I've seen banks who open cryptocurrencies services, even they provide the opportunity to take debt for investment cryptocurrencies, in my opinion taking a loan for investment bitcoin is normal and natural, if anyone dares to buy a car to buy a car to buy a car to buy a car Then after a year the value of the car dropped but Invest Bitcoin has the opportunity to be a big profit.

Thank goodness it’s only your opinion. Cause for someone that haven’t got money put aside for such purposes and instead resorts to taking out a loan from the bank to invest in bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies isn’t just worth it. And I’m not sure what banks you’re talking about that would give customers loans for that same purposes.
Taking out a loan from the bank to invest in bitcoin is not even close to being normal nor natural. Bitcoin has the opportunity to be a big profit over the years and also has the potential to be a loss as well.

Why did you write “to buy a car” about 4 times?
1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 19, 2023, 04:54:59 AM

Inter Milan should prepare to face a strong squad in the Champions League. I wouldn't say they should give up now, but they ought to prove their worth also on the field. However, no matter how hard they try, Inter Milan will struggle to beat Manchester City. But this is football, anything can happen.

Yes, this is football and anything could literally happen. Manchester City could very well lose to Inter Milan. While that is possible, I don’t see it happening. In my opinion, Manchester City and Inter Milan aren’t on the same level as I see Man City being a lot better than their rivals.

Not to underestimate Inter Milan, as it’s no easy feat to make it to the finals of the Champions League and they’ve done just that. So they’ve got a fighting chance just like City has.
But all that doesn’t change the fact that Man City, having beaten the mighty Real Madrid is in better form and dangerous on the field. Inter Milan had better be prepared.

1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 18, 2023, 06:27:51 PM
Guardiola and Manchester City worked hard to be present in the final game and to get it hopefully. They eliminated many good teams before reaching that level, including the hard Real Madrid wall.
Inter played good overall but their opponents made their mission way easier. I expect Manchester City to win the final match with 2 goals difference at least.

There’s no denying the effort and hard work Pep and his boys has had to put in to make it to the finals of the Champions League and in my opinion, they’re the favorites to win this game. I think a whole lot of people would like to see Man City winning the Champions League(I know I would).

I’m really happy and a bit surprised with the scoreline in the second leg of the game. Manchester City played so much better than they did in the first leg and the 4 goals scored is the proof of that.
Seeing the amazing form and performance Manchester City has going for them, I think Inter Milan should gear up for a fierce challenge.
1018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 18, 2023, 09:16:28 AM
With a big margins victory by Manchester City over Real Madrid, I think we can say Real Madrid will completely 100% win against Inter because Inter not really humiliating Milan which we know Milan had a very poor results.

Real Madrid and Manchester City are on a different level, Real Madrid can't shoots properly in Etihad Stadion, there's no way for Real Madrid to beat Manchester City,

While Manchester City prospects at winning the champions league is looking real good at the moment, I wouldn’t say Manchester City has a 100% complete chance at winning Inter Milan. But of course, the odds aren’t looking too good for Inter Milan. I would love to see a Man City win cause they’ve worked so hard and very well deserve it.

Perhaps, Madrid was overwhelmed. I had thought it would have been a tight one in the second leg between Man City and Real Madrid. but surprisingly it wasn’t as the game was dominated in whole by the home side. Manchester City is sure looking set to win the league.
1019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 17, 2023, 11:29:55 PM

The first two goals in the first half must have hurt Real Madrid, but not as much as their own goal in the second half. The luck was not only with Real Madrid, as Pep made the required steps to remove Real Madrid from the tournament, which he did. Real Madrid had been an impediment to him winning the Champions League, but now he has the chance to show off his expertise in the final game.

Yeah, Man City wasn’t playing around and strived to score goals in the first half. I had thought those goals wouldn’t deter the visitors and I was waiting for a comeback any time soon. But that comeback never came. Going into the half time with a 2 goal lead I bet, was a morale booster for the lads.
Madrid couldn’t hold City back this time around. People actually thought Man City would be defeated again but right now, City players are unstoppable. The trophy is just within reach.
1020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 17, 2023, 10:40:59 PM

But actually Man City's victory by scoring 4 goals in this match was completely unexpected. I also thought Man City would win but I didn't imagine with such a big score. but apart from all that I congratulate Manchester City for successfully qualifying for the Final. And this is their dream for a long time. just one step away for Man City to lift the UCL trophy for the first time for them.

Yes, I definitely didn’t expect Manchester City to win by a margin of 4 goals. I envisaged a win but not with a margin like that. I believed in Pep and his boys. I knew mistakes made in the first leg would have been corrected and better tactics had been used in the second leg. The way they had played was top class. In simple terms, they simply outplayed their opponents.
Congratulations to Manchester City on reaching the final stage in the Champions League. The cup is almost within reach but I can see it in their hands already.
