The last time (first in their history) City got to the final a couple of seasons ago, it was against Chelsea and Pep made some tactical tweaks that day which really affected the team, resulting in quite a very poor game from City in which they eventually lost. I don't think that's going to happen this season, City are on a whole different level and Pep knows perfectly what his best tactics and personnel are this season. This is definitely City's season to win that elusive champions league trophy, and i would never bet against them doing it, they'll be too strong for Inter Milan.

This season Manchester City has a more even squad than before and of course Pep Guardiola always finds new formulas that can make his team become European giants this season. Their performance in the second leg of the semi-final against Real Madrid before was fantastic and even Real Madrid were left unmoved by Manchester City's game during that full time. I think Real Madrid will have at least 1 to 3 chances that can make them catch up, but Manchester City can always intercept Real Madrid's attacks. Now we also know that Manchester City always learns from previous defeats and now they are closer to winning the Champions League this season.

While Real Madrid still has to fall behind due to a lack of player spending and a lack of regeneration on several fronts, they shouldn't always rely on senior players who are getting old.
