1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: February 05, 2018, 08:43:56 PM
I'm in huge shock to see some people are still defending this ponzi scam there is really insane. Google is our friend so anybody can make search on current situation and what future will be of those who are still buying soon they will get rekt. Anyway I'm feeling bad for new comers who are still buying this dead coin.

Most people know that all cryptocurrencies that don't share profits in some way are total Ponzi schemes (including bitcoin). I am pretty sure the lending platform popularity from a few months back caused bitcoin to go up in price so much. Now everyone is thinking there was something wrong with the platforms (when they weren't as Ponzi as most coins) the bitcoin price has gone down to new lows. All these lending platforms were receiving millions of dollars every day in the ICOs and there were dozens of them. All the FUD has caused bitcoin to crash also.

I suppose you can't blame anyone but all the complainers. Bitconnect was working fine and didn't dump any coins (it was a few hundred dollars still when it cancelled the lending). It wasn't even using its BCC reserves as they profited so much. Now all the other working platforms like Unix, Falcon, Davor, HomeBlockCoin, Exacoin etc are struggling not to go into reserves and the price is under $1 for them and inflation will just make it worse unless people stop fudding. Remember investors have tens of millions invested in these and nothing other than the complainers are making them possibly lose money. Lendconnect was still a few dollars last time I checked.

By the way, the biggest misconception I see people talking about is that they promised 1% daily returns but that was never the case. People started to expect that after the other lending platforms came out with even higher starting returns (Davor started at over 2% per day for many weeks but now is much lower...  0.08% has been the lowest).

Davor is still paying out BTC within minutes despite being down to 77cents now (just withdrew now). Nobody even did any loans for their millionaire loan competition cos people were saying it was an exit scam etc.

Bitcoin down to near $7k:

Oh, how we pine for the days when every time somebody made money off BitConnect, somebody else ALSO made money off BitConnect. Damn them FUDsters for it's premature demise. I'm willing to bet that them same FUDsters or their parents also contributed to the demise of BETAMAX, opening the door for the lesser product, VHS.

To my mind, it is very risky to turn all your money on bitcoin. We all know that the value of bitcoin always unstable. You can get more profit on investing on bitcoin because the value always increase than in bank.

Amazingly, that post has yet earned any sM because ...

www.gate.io is a good exchange and no KYC for under 2BTC per 24 hours, user friendly platform without any B.S.

Thanks for the info, bud, albeit it's already on the list.

when will be listed in the market maybe in cryptopia or bittrex and now i see in etherdelta still no one trading

Listed on the exchanges has been pushed back to a hard date of February 22, 2018.

Where are you seeing YTC traded on EtherDelta? URL, please. If there is a YTC on ED, it's not ours.

Bruno
yes in etherdelta no one sells coin and i am now waiting for official notice from dev

Let's see if I can clear this up, bud. No YTC is trading on ED because it hasn't been official listed yet.

Does that clarify it, bud?

Hi ytcoinartist, I'm from the Pineapple Fund. I can't PM you, so I'm writing publicly. Hope you come across this!

Hello ytcoinartist!

I'm Pine from the Pineapple Fund, the largest cryptocurrency philanthropy project donating ~5000 BTC. The recent media articles reminded me of your puzzle that I came across years ago, and I'm curious if you'd be interested in a collaboration!

I'm sorry to see all the negativity and FUD on bitcointalk in regards to the puzzle, by the way.

For the remaining 100 BTC of the Pineapple Fund, I would like to leave it up to the community to choose which registered charities receive it. I was thinking of making a reddit post, but that is prone to being gamed.

A puzzle artwork could be created where a number of tokens are hidden in the image. 50 BTC of the last 100 BTC could be dedicated to the puzzle, and each token could say allow you to choose where 10 BTC goes. (It'll have to be a registered charity).

Alternatively, there could just be X different private keys of 1 BTC hidden inside, and who can solve the puzzles would be able to have a reward for themselves. It'd be an answer to all the people sending begging emails to the Pineapple Fund.

Let me know if you are interested in working on a collaboration! My email is contact@pineapplefund.org

Hey, Pine, you and others may not know this but it was I who founded the first ever crypto charity - Bitcoin 100 (now defunct) - where not a single satoshi was misappropriated nor any of its volunteers paid, again, a single satoshi for the literally thousands of hours put in over the course of its existence, not to mention our own moneys put in as donations and keeping the site running. Not bragging, per se, but do like your site. The Water Project did receive donations from us. I like that one.

Apologies for the aside, all.

Bruno

PS: This site is still running slow on my end, but much improved since earlier.
1008  Other / Meta / Re: Please don't use oversized or coloured text in posts. on: February 04, 2018, 09:02:22 PM
I read an enormous number of posts on various forums every day, and I manage this by speed reading. Oversized text and difficult colours make this harder. Often this means that I have to skip the post, or maybe close the thread if it is the first post. Capitalistion is another killer, you can't pick up phrases to speed read if the post is capitalised.

Oversized or coloured text is a good way to high light important messages and features but some people abuse it for their empty posts. Like you, i skip those posts too.

Well it doesn't highlight it if people don't read it. If you can't say it without shouting, then please don't say it, that's my attitude. Smiley

I, too, am a mega speed reader, but them smiley thingies slow me down. theymos, please remove the smileys and ABILITY to resize text and eliminate coloring as well.

EDIT: I forgot to mention ridding the bold aspect as well. Let's make reading normal text great again!

This sounds like an amazing project. I have a team of professional puzzle makers who could help with this effort. I'll send you an email now. Thank you for reaching out, I love what you are doing at Pineapple Fund, it's incredibly inspiring.

Seriously? I'm seeking an honest team to develop a real-life 3-D puzzle. I've worked out most the particulars, ready to bring it to fruition. In fact, I even have an idea as to how it could be introduced on a popular TV show still running today, albeit a cut in profits may have to stem their way but such would no doubt increase sales several fold. A stretch, I know, but still worth a shot if possible and not really needed if the product is viable enough to stand on its own, marketed via conventional means. Also, the puzzle can readily be played on handheld devises as an APP or on PCs, thus working in concert with one another in advancing the project. As an APP, I truly envision it as addictive, with the same for the 3-D puzzle measuring ~6" square (no, it's not a Rubik's Cube). Back to the APP aspect, yes, a crypto token can easily be incorporated in the mix, thus allowing players to earn while playing.

You interested? If so, I'm willing to share everything as long as there's no chance of the idea being stolen from underneath me.

Bruno

I have a huge project on my plate right now with Neon District. I have to be incredibly selective with projects that I take one right now with my team. But this channel is FULL of talent. There's plenty of people here that would be worth recruiting for projects. If you think you have a cool idea you should hit some of these people up to collaborate. That's all I've done over the years to build my team. I appreciate the offer tho! And it sounds interesting!!

Thanks kindly for the quick reply.

I forgot to mention that there's at least three levels of difficulty, at least three different puzzles to be purchased: moderately hard; very difficult; diabolical (just formulated in my mind a few minutes ago as to how this level could be created/achieved). The number of pieces is less than two dozen.

Since it looks like your plate is full (unless you reconsider), anybody else interested in teaming up? Before offering up your services, there is one caveat: I would need to know exactly whom I'm speaking with, thus would need to verify who you are.

Since I'm also interested in the other mystery of this puzzle: what is the relation between white rabbit and coin artist?, I have in mind some questions:

- There's a diagonal line at the phoenix wing, which seems to be drawn on purpose. To me it looks like the move of the waffle ( inverted knight ), also named phoenix in the shogi chess. The white rabbit instruction is to turn the picture according to that line.

- The WR always says time is short, he is late, for a very important date. What date is that?

- There's a website called 17leaves.com which at first the content looks like about yoga and spiritual stuffs. But if you investigate more in the blog, the time of events implied in it will point to an account named StephenMorse. This account is the first one who mention about using leet (1337/1347) to decode. And there's also an account named StephenM347 on bitcoin stack exchange. Is it a coincidence or does he have some relation to the cr347or?

If that's the case, perhaps the transaction on Dec. 14, 2017, was a clue of sorts, with even the date 12-14-17 chosen on purpose in making the transaction. Probably not, but still something to consider.

I was counting the size of the inner flame 0 for skinny and 1 for fat.  I did have the same problem with flame #102.  I counted it as fat and it's needs to be skinny.

I had listed the other 2 correctly I believe.

Thanks, so I guess we agree there are at least two mistakes in the width channel.
The two near the central horizontal line on this picture.

I was just surprised that everybody seemed to find back the correct message by reading the solution article but I had to bruteforce like crazy to find which bits to flip.

Given that, wouldn't the puzzle been impossible to solve unless by trial and error or a lucky guess?

@the artist: Perhaps consider selling limited addition giclée reproductions, numbered and signed. I'll admit that the piece is 634u71ful, especially when eloquently flamed framed.

May I also suggest that if following through with the quality reproduction idea, split some of the profits with those mentioned above. Myself, I desire nothing. I don't think it's new we have already seen the Bitconnect in past and this Monetize Coin is made by the people who got inspired by the bitconnect platform.

Inspired by or are the same people given that they're payin' big bucks to advertise via Google AdWords across the board, perhaps using the very Investards' moneys from BitConnect's coffer.

Well I've been getting a lot of monetize coin ads recently on crypto related websites, so I'm guessing that they are definitely paying some hefty amounts for their scam to get advertised on adwords/adsense. Why aren't ad providers filtering these out?

There is nothing new here. It's just another lending program under the guise of a new lending program... I know, doesn't even make sense.  Undecided

You must be greedy as hell or just plain dumb if you invest into any lending programs, let alone such an obvious scam like in the case of Monetize coin. Don't believe the shit that youtubers are putting out there. Look at cryptonick and trevon james.
