Maybe they try to cover their addiction because they are ashamed of it and say that they do it for fun. Seeing people become beggars or a single person in a thousand beggars win a jackpot is not "fun" in gambling.
you've hit it men. many people saying that they're playing for fun like me. but ireally gambling just for the sake of my entertainment i usually gambling when nba finals i usually spend 100 bucks in betting and luckily i always win. Can you say that im a gamble even I only play gamble when nba finals is on ?  I've never gambling everyday usually if i had a bad day in work. I want to play gambling but with a small amount just to reduce my stress. but i don't call it profitable because all I want is fun. more likely im inviting my friends in my house just to play poker hahaha Now we are getting serious here, you just admitted that you are good on saying gamble for fun but in reality you gamble for the money. We need to clarify things a bit, Isn't it better to Invest your money im to something? Because while investing you both save your money and earn from it? And also isn't it better than saving your money in the bank? As your money is devalued by inflation overtime, rather than earn from it's little interest? Of course Investing is the better choice among the two. I would rather take the risk in order for my money to work for me.
Precisely, saving your money for a long time would depreciate its value due to inflation, so it is best to put it to work in investments, unfortunately, nowadays investments are too risky that is why most of the people are just keeping their money to make it safe. Well, if a government would sponsor such investments, I would not have second thought, I will invest. But mostly investments are run by private people which are sometimes have a plan to steal your money, some don't even have an SEC, and some are just plainly scam. Therefore you have to be wise enough to invest, there's a risk it's given but you have to take it. Be a man and enter in the world of investment. Many people are getting rich because they try to invest and take the risk, so if they can of course we also can I believe. |

There are a lot of people that is addicted to gambling and that is because people are thinking that they can earn some nice money with it.
But that is just a trap and actually they are losing more money than they win but they are realizing that too late.
what about the person who has the initial goal to gamble for ony to have fun? whether they will become a gambling addict. but they are always gambling every week or a certain time? what it can be called with addiction? Don't gamble every single of your life because gambling cannot help you. the other person do this for fun and we cannot call them a addicted in gambling. they just want to have fun or do this in their past time. they know how to control their money and themselves doing this. but i think gambling can be helpful if you have some good experience in gambling an having good luck the you can certainly make good profit in gambling. but most of the time you will lose since you are already addicted no matter how long or how short you played but if you already an addict for sure it is a hard battle between yourself, greediness will always eaten you up and your emotion will lead you to a bad decision making so much better to just place yourself i the middle just play for fun and use only the money you can afford to lose. It's fine if you will lose most of the time as long as you enjoy gambling every time. It's hard to achieve that kind of happiness for gamblers who are addicted as they can no longer think straight as there mind is already poison by the disease called gambling addiction. if they can divert their attention for sure they will enjoy other things aside from gambling, you can call yourself addicted if inside your mind its always strategy and possible ways how to win that addiction is turning you out to keep chasing more and more forgetting that it should only be practice for simple just for fun. I don't understand why always people take gambling with negative thought, the main purpose of gambling is for entertainment and that is way to make fun but only few greedy people who abuse and turned this the worse thing, if take it easy just for entertain ourself than I think without gambling my life will be very boring that is my personal opinion maybe other wouldn't do agree with me.

If bitcoin gets on the mainstream then paper money will loose its popularity and users too, as if bitcoin gets widely used and accepted then people will prefer to use bitcoin more in compare to paper money as it will give them freedom of going for shopping cashless and things will become more easier.
Storage, production and the material itself is very expensive for the production of paper money. And if the popular will cryptocurrency, then paper money will be bid farewell ,. Till paper money has support from the Government I don't think it will face any issue and we cannot expect that each and every person will start using bitcoins in future and bitcoin will always be treated as an secondary currency to paper money, and fiat will keep on enjoying its monopoly even in future. Buying with credit card is not a good option as you also need to disclose your identity and give all your personal information, for me the best way is to buy in cash on localbitcoins where I simply deposit cash into traders bank account and upon receipt he transfer bitcoins to my bitcoin wallet address. best way? uhm i think investing it rather than saving it is the more accurate way to manage your money. always use the ratio 50:50 the half you can save it as your allowance and the other half you can invest it in bitcoin. i rather put the 80% of my money in btc than saving it because im too obsessed in things that i dont usually use. so when i got in bitcoin community i would say that i'm investing all my money in bitcoin and the other half is in gambling site.
Why not do both, you can still invest if you save but you cannot invest without savings. It's a prerequisite actually so we need to discipline ourselves in savings first then the rest will follow. Think one step at a time so you will not complicate things, you will be guided if you have a cool mind for your future plans. Quite true mate.. the reason you want to invest is to gain profit from your savings.. without savings you you cannot invest anything. Is not easy but after several losses if you are smart the best action is stop. Is better to work if you want to earn money than waiting money with gambling, yeah you can gamble but just like hobby o just for fun.
That is not guaranteed because there are gamblers who tend to keep on gambling after their losses. And they are aiming to recover their losses so instead of giving up, they are thinking if they will keep on gambling they can easily recover it but in reality instead of recovering they are adding up some more amount to their loss. Yeah, unfortunately many can not see the bigger picture. There are people in the cryptocurrency world just for speculative purposes or for a quick profit. With the qualities present in Bitcoin, we have something able to change the economy as we know and bring freedom to people who use it.
It's not always people's jobs to find the benefits and make sure they apply their talents to the bigger picture, a lot of the time it is or can be in their best interest to make something like a quick profit or put money in for a long-term investment and by them doing that, it benefits everyone beyond that and affects the bigger picture. Speculators keep the value high. People do believe that bitcoin is freedom and I am only referring to the people who were able to adopt with bitcoin. That can be clearly seen as the way the price move, it's not a manipulated price anymore IMO, it's the demand of the people that dictates the price to go up and it's a continuing process for a progressive market. One example of freedom is our privilege to gamble using bitcoin. Indeed mate. It's called freedom because they can do anything they want in bitcoin community. They can do trading, gambling, purchase, payments.. it's a whole new world when you use bitcoins.. you can move your bitcoins freely without any government restrictions. Without restriction since there's no law in the crypto world that we need to comply, in real life there's a lot of laws that if we violate we will have to pay for the penalty. That is the big difference with bitcoin therefore people who wants freedom should adopt with bitcoin. |

I don't think bitcoin will ever replace the US dollar. The government would not allow that to happen. I could see bitcoin being used as a payment method like paypal, or a method of sending money like western union, or even a way to store money instead of banks.
We are on the same side, bitcoin is nothing compared to dollars. Look at the price now, it's on dollars and that is its standard way of measurement and without dollar bitcoin could not be popular. That's the reality, we are just a small currency and dollar is a powerful currency which reflects its country. I agree. Bitcoin value still depends on USD currency.. same goes with other countries currency they also rely on USD. So for me definitely bitcoin will not replace dollars. Both USD and bitcoin will still be in the future. Maybe a lot of people are always doing the same thing you did because of the same reason you always want recover all your loss which is supposedly hard to make possible . And because of that , there are instamces that you are losing more and more money meaning to say the amount of your money loss in gambling is definitely increasing which makes it more impossible to retrieve . That is a good point, in my opinion this demonstrates the importance of accepting some losses, those more difficult to recover, and moving forward... that's true , people mostly so hard to moving on. losing after losing they can't accept it , the result would be chasing all the previous losing money and turn wild in betting , in most case those people who do this continuously become poor / banckrupt due have no control . It's the recipe for disaster, you will not lose much if you won't chase bets and you have a control in gambling if you will not be affected easily when you are down big. Controlling our emotion in gambling is necessary so if we do not have the capacity to do that we better not gambling at all. What is needed in gambling is discipline and only those who have discipline will last and enjoy and they will come back for good not for revenge. If you chase you have to face the consequences, I have done that many times and I end up losing. Since they already experience to win big, furthermore they will do anything to make it that happen again without noticing that the supposed expected profits are now turning to a losses. That excitement will lead them to do more gambling activity in the future until they can accept the fact. About the bolded part,I think it should be minimize rather than maximize. I think people in the future will leave fiat as money, they will back to use gold anymore. Becouse gold is more worth. Gold is better than anything as a money. Gold value is not depend on the strenght of political country.

I always bet small amounts but in some games. Usually around 0.001 btc. But in sports betting if there is a big game I would bet big, because I think it would be very interesting if betting on the big game. As in the final game, I bet BTC 0.01 to 0.07 btc.
Good thing that amount is already big for you, I see gamblers who are betting bigger than that and they bet like a minimum of 1 BTC. Simply, there is no definite amount to say you bet big or not but it only depends on a person's capacity when it comes to gambling. For sure that amount, you can afford to lose it. |
