Anyone ever stop gambling? but then gamble again?

What are the reasons you come back to gamble?

One of the reason might be the greed to have comeback what they lost for, and some are having greed from increasing income for their own reason like needing a money necessarily.
1002  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: March 19, 2017, 04:46:15 PM
What are the features that a good investor should have? What are the characteristics of people who have enough capital and earn money from money?

What are the factors that make these people successful in their investments?

The one thing that a good investors always do is that no matter how low the profit from a simple job, you still need to do it as long as it won't take much time. What my fathers friend does is he hire someone and pays that person 25% of what the total amount of profit is.
1003  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen when 1 satoshi is $ 1? on: March 19, 2017, 04:26:18 PM
What if bitcoin gains much more value than you anticipate? So what happens when 1 satoshi reaches the price of 1 dollar?
What kind of arrangement is made if payment is requested as Cent? Can the bitcoin core be modified?

This is impossible. But if 1 Satoshi worth 1$, that would be awesome. But I think this will never happen. Society will be imbalance because of the price, all of us bitcoin users will be rich in a tick. And all people who's not using bitcoin will be suffered. Why ? Because of the imbalance of the money .. 1$ will is now on its lowest thing so the items or products will cost 1000 times as much as today.

There is no way that such thing can happen, if 1 satoshi reaches 1$ then a person can be rich with just using faucets, and if that thing happens the demand for bitcoins will go down, because if that happens it will be unfair to new users that they will only get small amout of bitcoin and the old users already got rich, for example : if the satoshi reaches 1$ price then the income from faucets and other things that can a bitcoin user gain profit with will only give them low amount of bitcoin, and it makes them feel like they are at a total disadvantage.
1004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: March 18, 2017, 04:36:12 PM
I've discovered Bitcoin few days ago, but I am skeptical about few things, why would I invest money in Bitcoins at the end of the day,why would I convert money into Bitcoins?

If I want to buy stocks or invest money I can easily invest with real $. Why would I convert my $ to bitcoins?
If I want to gamble , I can simply gamble on websites that require $ as currency, why would I convert it to bitcoins?
What's the difference between Bitcoins and dolars? What does bitcoin bring to the table that real $ don't, less taxes, more income?

Actually transaction, and the bitcoin price is not like dollars that has stability, and for some reason gaining profit from online jobs is what makes bitcoin valuable to others, and it has an easy transaction where no identity is needed, people can have their transaction anonymously with bitcoin.
1005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: March 18, 2017, 04:07:00 PM
We can buy anything with bitcoin either directly or by converting it to fiat currency so bitcoin is a real money to it as whenever I am short of cash I sell my bitcoins and get hard cash in hands and its used for shopping and also to transfer money so it definitely sounds money to me.

First of all, not all countries have a wallet that converts bitcoin into actual currency, nor we can buy anything with bitcoin. But good point though, I do the same thing, but I'm not so sure if people has the same wallet that we have.
1006  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: March 18, 2017, 03:58:04 PM
Today the price is really good to make an investment just look at the price how low it has gone in few hours so if you buy now then it will give you great results in next few days as price will go higher again in coming days from where you can expect good profits.

How could you be so sure that it will go higher in next few days? What if it goes down further, bitcoin is becoming more unstable, so for now if you invest in bitcoin you take higher risk than before, but still it is a good investment for me.

1008  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How is trading *not* gambling? on: March 17, 2017, 03:40:32 PM
How different is trading from just gambling? I know there seems to be a  big difference with technical analysis and whatnot, but in the end aren't you just betting on something completely random?

People do gambling to win money or to make profit in an instance, while trading is an investment for business, when it comes for risk they're kinda similar but in terms of business and society they are much different, because trading is a big factor for economy.
1009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: March 17, 2017, 03:17:22 PM
Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.

No, we dont need to explain for them no more, as the future era began, children and teenager will somehow manage to go to the flow and slowly understand things in near future, meaning to say they will just get used it no matter whag happens.
1010  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Let's talk about Gambling on: March 16, 2017, 03:19:00 PM

1011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: March 16, 2017, 02:42:34 PM
Bitcoin is usually used by people interested in technology. I mean, persons with a certain technical knowledge are interested in bitcoin.

My observations are that way. I think Bitcoin needs to reach larger quantities. Can use bitcoin in people who are not interested in technology?
Can people use the bitcoin in the profession group like tradesmen, teachers, housewives, firemen, butchers? Are we going to see the days that these people use bitcoin?

My answer is no, because it takes time to fully understand bitcoin and these professionals have their own interest and see differently than people who is interested in technologies. Nowaday professionals only focus in their career and appearance, so they think they won't need these things anymore. It is hard to understand how people thinks but as far as I concert they're not going to use bitcoin unless they need something else for it other than bank or investment, transaction maybe.

1013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: March 14, 2017, 11:04:51 PM
The results of this poll scare the ever living dog shit out of me.
What is wrong with you people?!
You don't own any bitcoins unless you and you alone control the keys.
Web-wallets suck don't use them.

It's actually good, in the web wallet that I currently use we pay bills and buy stuff using their site, we can even convert it into our actual currency and withdraw it through a bank that varies.

https://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2013/04/bitcoin-is-no-longer-a-currency/274859/

An article from The Atlantic magazine - from 2013, way back in 2013 - declaring that bitcoin is not a currency, but "the ultimate tech stock"!

The four years since the article was written has proven that bitcoin is akin to an Amazon or Facebook (stock, not company), and much less "Pets.com". That's a good thing.

I have to agree with them. Every week that passes without a new company in any local metropolitan area deciding to accept bitcoin as currency is a two weeks further away from bitcoin actually being adopted, mainstream, as a currency.

Bitcoin is an investment. A stock or an asset class/commodity can be debated, although it doesn't much matter. Bitcoin is a store of value not a medium of exchange.

What do you think?

It never been a currency, bitcoin is like an investent where people do to get some income, and currency means a money people spend for every day use, and bitcoin can only be a currency if technologies are good enough to transfer bitcoin without any hussle, so the transaction will have no problem no more.
1019  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: March 12, 2017, 09:49:10 PM
I would like to know if anyone of you earns 0.1 BTC per week or even more? Is this possible and what is best way to earn it? Your experiences, suggestions and advices are very welcomed.

I guess you can't earn it unless you go all in in jobs and some sidelines in bitcointalk like signature campaign, pursuing bounties in bitcoin forum while your currently working, there is no way that you can't get what you've been wanting.
1020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: March 12, 2017, 09:41:39 PM
Most of the time, gambling will result in you losing out, so just make sure to be careful and gamble responsibly.  Investing is varied, it all depends on what you invest in.  If you invest in something fairly reputable (e.g. casino bankrolls, related to gambling), then you'll probably get ROI but it'll take a long time and you shouldn't expect anything straight away.

You have a point there. Playing gambling won't be profitable, while in investment it depends on where you are putting your money in. But when it comes to risk, it is riskier to gamble than investing. The two differ in the way we start and end. Usually in gambling, you start in small, and win big, while in investment, you start small and receive smaller ROI.

But when it comes to this two, I'd definitely choose investment, atleast with that you know the risk that you are facing since you will not invest if you don't have an idea about it, while in gambling, the result is unpredictable and mostly losing.
To trade is the most trusted to become rich.  It is I want you to recommend.  That is why gamble and invest is part of scam nowadays. There is no determined that you get the money to become rich in gamble no players become rich about it.
Not all people are getting easy rich by doing trading only, there are so many people that also lose in trading, take that note "If someone wins, someone else loses" And not of all investment program are scam but they are also many scam investments that called "HYIP" it's a high returns investment that says it will give you high profits, better to avoid all investment program like this.

Agreed, there is no way a person can get rich instantly just by trading, and the HYIP will tell you tah you would get sirious amount of money after investing but there will be no return. The problem in gamling and investing is its always risky no matter what, but I guess it's still good cause storing bitcoin now is risky though.
