221  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear market? Will NEVER HAPPEN because of increasing # of unretrievable bitcoin on: July 03, 2018, 05:22:50 PM
Maybe 0.1% of all coins are on exchanges? maybe far less. The vast majority are sat there doing nothing. Exchanges are so thinly traded the price could go down to 10 bucks in a few minutes if a few thousand coins were sold.

Overall supply is absolutely irrelevant.

Supply is relevant, for what I can see there are more investors to choose a limited supply over a unlimited supply. If you study economy you will understand that demand is necessary but of course needs to consider its scarcity if the supply will be less and there are more people to use it here would be an increase of value same as the necessity in the market.
222  Economy / Gambling / Re: Win Bitcoin Playing Racing Game - Bit Playerz!!! $$$ on: July 02, 2018, 05:47:02 PM
Like everyone said, there is no tutorial or anything that show how the game really works because its like 80 90 games like you said so probably most of them(including me) do not know how this game work. You should at least give some explanation about it and about your jackpot, you share it everything on players without having some on the pot to make sure people will get the pot every week.

So true and another thing about it from being a game from 80's 90's game is that it can easily be hacked or cheated, the data and program on the game is too simply to manipulate so I don't really think it was a good idea, having a more recent racing games like around 2005 and above would be better for it is easier to get information from the game.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Get free $500 @ UpCoin Exchange on: July 02, 2018, 05:42:08 PM

I saw their ANN - this is good marketing move to gain volume on their exchange.

But I will pass this offer for 3 reasons:

- Their software is in beta now. I prefer not to experiment with my money

- Their Norfolk Island domain... too odd

- Lack of volume

This is new so the volume is normal so its okay for lacking from volume, but the domain is not that trustworthy looking so its kinda have an impact from the people who is so conscious about their money.
Overall it is truly hard to try it and the fact that it is new it won't necessary to try since there is a lot of exchange there that is more secure.

Sadly it was a scam all along, they make you wait forever...then launch their whatever...platform, and boom, your vapour-infused 500$ bill is gone

i feel rly stupid falling for this scam

Why would even fall for the scam you should've read posts from the topic though, it clearly lacks of information and addition is that $500 is way too good to be true.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am sure Bitcoin Will go $50,000 End of this year because of ETF! on: July 01, 2018, 04:49:49 PM
Big names in crypto predict that bitcoin will go $50k end of this year and they were 50% correct because anything can happen of crypto right? but for me, if bitcoin ETF will be approved I'm sure that ETF Will Push Bitcoin price to $50,000, let's wait 60 days starting today and go back to this thread in September or October and let's see  Wink

Talk about optimism, I really would like that to happen but as far as I'm concern it is out of bound in a price speculation because usually when predicting bitcoin value you'll go for triple and decide of which month it will happen but since you go over a 9x the current price I doubt that your speculation would be true, I know it is a possibility but not this year I really don't think it can happen.
225  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy on: July 01, 2018, 04:41:03 PM
Actually the time to buy thing should've been yesterday when bitcoin got as low as $5,800 but of course most people doubt it so they didn't buy at that moment, that is one mistake that every buyers do if you really want to hodl you should realize when is the lowest point, I know playing safe is a good thing but won't give you more if you play safe what I mean is it is okay to lose some trying to predict the lowest point than buying when there is a low but sure profit.
226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Really! Where is the fun at? on: July 01, 2018, 04:29:40 PM

However, in online gambling, I really want to hear from those who said they can have fun doing so, which to me, it is more like virtually everyone gambling online is actually in it for the money. At least, I have gambled on freebitco.in dice few times, and I was bored as (whatever you want to fill in here), with the whole martingale strategy, that I had to look for a script to use while I just kept doing some other activities. Although, I know some platforms like cryptogames have a chat system where you can converse with other gamblers, but all these to me, still does not sound like fun compared to traditional level.

Please enlighten me just in case I am missing something here or do you share the same view?

I never did think that online gambling is fun, in my personal opinion it was never fun it even frustrates me when losing and in the way that you wanted to get back what you've lost will soon lead to an addiction.

The thing is, it was fun when you are winning obviously that is the reason why I'm gambling to win some but never to lose some so it is only fun when a person is winning unlike what you've said about actual casino's with friends you can get along, and people you can change information with, on the other hand there will be people serving you, and not to mention that in each casinos there is a live entertainment so basically online gambling has a completely different atmosphere than an actual gambling.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WIll bitcoin be the point of reference for other cryptocurrencies for ever? on: July 01, 2018, 04:18:55 PM
Probably, cryptocurrencies has made bitcoin the top and consider it the highest and for that reason altcoins still relied on bitcoin regarding the general cryptocurrencies. Eth has been the top 2 and been proving something but its still not even near the worldwide known bitcoin there is no specific identification in cryptocurrencies so it is better that way since it will gain more attention if they focus in only one.
228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in E-Sports on: June 30, 2018, 05:07:16 PM
Yeah, I got your point, tournaments like Dota2 and Lol are worldwide and involves a lot of money. The problem why its not famous because simply we don't like it and we are not interested. How can we bet on something that we don't understand? Maybe its because of the age gap, as younger generations usually play that game and not everyone of them can put a bet online.

Yeah totally makes sense to me, the only ones who can bet in this kind of things are the ones who plays it since they're the only ones who understands it.
Like there is a person that will try betting with not enough knowledge and information and just guessing in each match.

229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will esports gambling be explosive in the future like sports gambling? on: June 30, 2018, 05:02:43 PM
The explosion of World Cup gambling industry has  shocked me.

Along with the development of esprots game, will the esports (electronic sports like LOL, Dota, Counter Strike, HearthStone, Call of duty and so on) gambling be huge in the future?

Guys, what's your vision about the esports gambling business? I'm planning to devote myself into this field. Any advice or suggestion?

I had literally the same topic. Anyways I found out why e-sports gambling is hardly being known in crypto industry is because actual sports or physical sports is widely known and being enjoyed not be teenagers and younger generations but all age can enjoy it and to be exact there is not much gambler in our younger generations, but I see your point e-sports can be huge in the future if you'll ask me since it is getting some attention and I bet the people who will inherit the knowledge and usage of crypto will enjoy betting in some e-sports.
230  Economy / Speculation / Re: Triple bottom: yes or no on: June 30, 2018, 04:56:39 PM

I didn't hear that theory. It seems to me that $ 6,000 is much higher than the cost of bitcoin mining. It seems to me that the cost price is at $ 2000 per 1 bitcoin. There is a range for price reduction but this does not happen because people are not morally ready to sell bitcoins for 6000 dollars. The lack of a large number of proposals will push prices up.

Video cards and other devices like cooling stuff it is not that easy to mine, the mining rig is not that much but if you'll combine it with monthly electricity that will cost more than you expect and before you can get a 1 bitcoin it will take time unless you will do a multiple mining rigs which will cost you so much then you'll have no guarantee you'll get bitcoin the same amount when you started mining since the price is moving constantly.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I never sold my First bitcoin. Are you also emotionally bound to bitcoin? on: June 30, 2018, 04:47:58 PM
It has been 2 years that I bought my First bitcoin. I have never been able to sell or trade it. Is it only me who is emotionally binded or does this happened with anyone else?

Also, is it a good thing to be emotionally attached so much to Bitcoins?

You're trolling right? You brought your bitcoin 2 years ago and 7 months ago a $18,000 per bitcoin happens and you didn't sell it for good do you even know how much your profit would be if you sell it at that moment?
Or do you even brought 2 years ago, because obviously 2 years ago bitcoin has only started getting more and more interest and in that time the value of bitcoin is ranging over $450 the lowest and $1,145 the highest now you saying that you brought some at that moment and you didn't even sold it. That's a $10,000 difference right there dude c'mon.

233  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy more and HODL!!! on: June 27, 2018, 05:12:22 PM
This is the best way to enjoy the price instead of underestimating bitcoin and get scared out of it, being afraid from the price won't give them nothing so that is a good way of thinking since it is the method that old users do buy when the price gets low enough then wait for it to bounce back then sell after reaching the highest recent floor.

This is exactly why most waited for bitcoin to go down then buy as much as they can by doing so they can have more profit just by waiting buying and selling.
234  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crash recoveries are not moons on: June 27, 2018, 05:07:06 PM
If it isn't then why did bitcoin reached 20k us dollars? I mean, it suffered a lot of crashes and look at it. It's still standing still for investment and more people to trust this coin.

Yup it always crashes its part of the nature of bitcoin and after the crash a slow redemption happens then go for a boost from the hype after the all time low and bounced back for a higher point. After a big crash it always goes over the last highest value then continues to dominate then crash again, its a cycle that cannot be broken from cryptocurrencies.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Gambling in E-Sports on: June 27, 2018, 05:00:21 PM
I am just curious why E-Sports betting is not famous, I really think that E-Sports betting in Worldwide tournaments with competitive games like Overwatch, Dota2, and Lol should have been more influenced since we are using a computer and internet based money. I really do think that E-Sports should have the most bets in all gambling, but I guess its only for some who is really into computer games and even most gamer doesn't watch tournaments so I guess that is one of the reasons.

Anyways tell me what you guys think.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you ever consider this; The end of Crypto on: June 27, 2018, 04:41:15 PM

Guys I think we are pioneering something that is going to be great in the future. Let's think positive. The market is down, but crypto hasn't collapsed. We shall surely bounce back!!

Now is the time that bitcoin mostly needed the support of its users, but even the market is down it doesn't mean that bitcoin and blockchain is in the verge of collapsing anytime. I believe that hodlers won't let go unless they can see that there is a profit from what they waited for, so as long as there is some hodlers bitcoin and other crypto will most likely to stay and move slowly as others sustain it from going down.
237  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going to $400 on: June 27, 2018, 04:31:10 PM
I do not believe bitcoin falls on the $ 400 price. You are in too much of a hurry to make a conclusion just because the current market is falling and will make bitcoin fall to $ 400. I would rather believe the $ 400 price would not happen on bitcoin.

I think now mining cost of Bitcoin is $5,000. Miners are getting less. Bitcoin does not have any use, it has just become a speculative asset.

I read that shops/stores sell Bitcoin immediately and get cash because of fear of price change. So shops/stores are the biggest sellers of Bitcoin.

I agree with you, but still bitcoin cannot reach a $400 value its just too low to think of. The current market surely is denying bitcoin but that's only because everyone is doing so, however once it regain the support of the traders and investors the price will back up again I know it goes down for over $10k dollars the past 7 months but $400 dollars won't happen at least not for century.
238  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC next stop is 5K$ on: June 27, 2018, 04:26:49 PM
I think it can reach $5k since the problem in the market cannot be fixed immediately and now bitcoin is the one suffering the most so of course $5k is a possibility but lower than that is too much for bitcoin, its worth is not below $5k anymore even over $5k is already too low but to go under that is too much to ask the moment it hits $5k I'm pretty sure it will bounce back and gain the support of more investors.
239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life with a Gambler - Solution! on: June 27, 2018, 04:21:08 PM
You don't need to stop gambling because it cannot be stopped easily and besides it somehow helps (if you're winning) all one need is to control it, I am currently controlling my gambling issue by playing games I don't know why but it games keeps me away from gambling even though I wan't to win money so much. Anyways you can always get your attention into another thing to control it but stopping it won't do its like an unscratchable itch of wanting to gain a big amount of profit.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 0XBTC is rising! on: June 27, 2018, 12:01:25 PM
Actually for my speculation it will go down as fast as it goes up, I am quite sure it is a bubble like most of the new released coins are. The market is not in the good situation but this coin is rising so fast that it became unbelievable to me, the price is just temporary and will go down surely.
