101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can lost Bitcoins be traced? on: May 04, 2019, 03:00:30 PM
There is no such thing as "Lost" bitcoins since most of bitcoins that are not circulating through market is the storage that is inaccessible and even if its not circulating it cannot be considered as "Lost" instead its still considered as retrievable and the fact that there is no tools to know whether a certain coin is actually in someones possession there is no reason for us to indicate that there are some "Lost" bitcoin.

To be honest we neither care nor we need to, as long as there is a sufficient coin that is circulating we don't need to bother considering non-circulating bitcoins to be lost.
102  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another uptrend has shaped up trying to break $5600 again on: May 03, 2019, 06:03:16 PM
It will probably break and go higher than $5600 but base on how I see it $6000 won't be the price floor and it can go up and down within $200 dollar range, $6300 and above is just a mere optimism it may happen but not that fast the possibility is too low but there is still a chance. We have few news regarding bitcoin and it won't get hype without any event that might trigger the alarm, prediction wouldn't be that necessary unless something unexpected occur.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are investors realizing that IEO is a silent scam? on: May 03, 2019, 05:51:53 PM
It has been going three days Bittrex has launched IEO for "ocean" coin. But seems still now 17% remain of IEO token. Last IEO was closed within few seconds. Wondering why still not sold out current IEO on Bittrex. Are investors realizing that IEO is silent scam? Because on last IEO on Bittrex lots of investor's got REKT. Perhaps that's why investors worried about their funds.

What do you think? There is any other reason?

It's all about researching I don't blame people who tried to participate its a new way the few is trying to get a grasp of it, its same with others it was never need to succeed at first pilot and there is more time for it to be reconstructed and to rebuild it needed a foundation there are still ICO that is scam and for IEO investors are still trying to figure out how things and when will it work out the best option they have is to experience and try it themselves.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NIGERIA's APEX BANK PROPOSES BLOCKCHAIN FOR ITS MARKET on: May 03, 2019, 04:45:11 PM
It's a gamble since the financial state of Nigeria has no way around, they needed something that might help them to go further and the traditional financial system is never good enough for them, its still a bold move to just do it head on but I am pretty sure they plan things out, still to me there is a small percentage that this strategy or this event will cause any good for their overall financial state it might be put aside and will never be mentioned. Nevertheless it is a good thing too to start early regarding cryptocurrencies because of the fact that there are young population, with cryptocurrencies being introduced early they might easily adopt and understand it better.

106  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going steadily up, don't you think? on: April 29, 2019, 02:52:23 PM
It has been like that each time bitcoin goes down hard I think it is more likely an optimism for something that has barely keeping up the phase, anyways it is a good thing for bitcoin if people still believes because as long as there are people that believes in bitcoin it will never die but having false assumption and news will always have a good feedback on bitcoin and it will impact the current bull it is better for bitcoin to have a bad news than having no news at all.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nike is launching a Cryptocurrency Marketplace! Will this help Crypto Moon? on: April 29, 2019, 02:42:23 PM
It does not indicate that it was by Nike or anything that connects with them, I am pretty sure that if it was from Nike it would have been bigger than just this, but who knows maybe they're just starting to plan things out and having a trademark cryptokicks was their first move nevertheless for me it is not likely for a company that big to make its first move without having things all planned out.
108  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do not use Coinbase on: April 27, 2019, 02:58:05 AM
Coinbase is well known over crytocurrency users but they never had a good feedback that's why as much as possible they avoid using it unless necessary they have been like that ever since they've been recognized. To think that too many issues that never been solved yet they still continue what their currently doing, the reason is one of the main problem with cryto related is that there is few rules and regulation or policy and it only affects certain countries, so once you lost your coin it can never be retrieved no matter how much it cost.
109  Economy / Speculation / Re: I SMELL FOMO on: April 27, 2019, 02:16:34 AM
FOMO will again fuel the growth of bitcoins and other alt coins. As of now there's not much FOMO going on, when BTC reach 7K or 8K many will start jumping in the money train.
I really cannot wait for the drama that will happen at this period, it will happen just like magic, this value you mentioned is what I expect to push the price of BTC to $15,000 and if not more before the final bull run. I love FOMO a lot and I always appreciate those who create FOMO, just like recently, many people that has been trying to do that has been like a clown.

Imagine Mcafee saying BTC will touch $1,000,000 by next year. How is that possible, this type of FOMO does not really get into people, so he needs to be realistic and use his position very well in creating one that will first lead us to 7k, then to 15k and we keep doing it that way till it goes high.

FOMO failed to kick in, Negative news is more powerful tool to bring the price of BTC down,. The bitfinex tether scandal makes things harder once again for cryptocurrency and FOMO guys are now waiting for another big dip before jumping in.

I agree, people now cares more about what they currently have rather than what they "might" possibly have so instead of FOMO they fear more about what they can lose. With the current situation FOMO affect less since bitcoin failed hard before and history makes it harder to believe more than what is possible.
110  Economy / Speculation / Re: When you win does someone else have to lose. on: April 23, 2019, 03:44:00 PM
There are special situation where two parties both win instead of 1 losing, its the same as boxing if you challenge a champion even if you lose you will still earn more money from the fight than the champion.

In trading you get what you can and throw away what you don't need, even if you know that there is one losing some it does not mean they lose in overall because they probably got some profit from the trade you made, and the fact that every traders lose and win some its only a natural cycle that the world of trading provide.
111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do youtube "Expert Traders" keep asking money for their "premium tips"? on: April 23, 2019, 03:23:39 PM

If they claim to have made lots of money through their good trading strategies then why do they ask for money? Is it too much greed for more money, or they are simply lying about making money from their strategies?

True, but you have to consider the fact that the market does not always favor income, and same as the others timing is essential if the market is in a bad proposition then not earning some is better than losing some if the market fails having a different option is necessary for people who wants to keep earning even if the market is not doing well.
112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holiday Crisis on: December 09, 2018, 04:09:43 AM
I agree that it's not wise to sell coins now but at the end everyone has its own will and can make decision what he/she likes.
But I can't agree that Bitcoin always have crisis, if you want to call it so, in holiday season. Last year in December Bitcoin was having the best moments so you can't say that fourth quarter is always fatal for Bitcoin. I don't think there is any proven connection between Bitcoin price fall and end of the year.

I am pretty sure last year's November - December was the start of a big drop of the price, it was the time where bitcoin goes over $17,000 to $10,000 and later became stable at $7,000 to $5,000 it happens in early month of the year.
113  Economy / Trading Discussion / Holiday Crisis on: December 08, 2018, 07:29:51 PM
I've been seeing bitcoin suffered from holidays a lot and there is a proper explanation on this, since yearly it always happen.

First of all since December - January are the most anticipated holiday of all months the moment we hit BER months crypto are more likely to suffer since most of the traders are converting their assets into fiat which only leads to a massive fall of crypto, no matter whats upcoming event is or any news regarding cryptocurrencies it always seems to fall in the 4th Quarter of the year specially on December, it cannot be prevented so as a holder it is better to let go of your assets before the fall happens September and October are the best month to start analyzing the price.

If you convert or sold your crypto into fiat you're contributing in the massive fall but if you don't you'll lose the price you currently have so what else can you do.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash is gone? on: November 17, 2018, 07:09:23 AM
I don't see any reason for hard fork its a good move for everyone to eliminate BCH these is madness the initials are unthinkable and can even hardly be read. For me Bitcoin Cash is a joke already and they wanted to create more seriously if hard forking continues there is no way Cryptocurrencies can be accepted in every region, if only we could focus in empowering coins that has a good potential we could've valued more out of it.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: hard dump=hard bounce? on: November 17, 2018, 02:51:56 AM
Because of the volatility there is no proper chart navigation each aspects is essentially needed to know whether it will go down or up in the coming days, I've read a chart that says it will be consistent and will eventually fall but I didn't thought that it will happen sooner than expected, I didn't hear any news about possibility of ETH going down but it still did and did it hard.
116  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason Why BTC will Dump to 2.5K$ on: November 16, 2018, 05:57:42 PM

Use your head once in a while! When Bitcoin was in the bear market of 2016 with prices below 4000 miners were also below the point of profitability with no way to pay off equipment bought in 2014 for $600 and more. Did that destroy Bitcoin? Even if we repeat 2015 and 16 worst thing that can happen is another 6 months of bear market and maybe 4000 dollar low

That's true, they trusted the potential of bitcoin and waited it to boom but if we're looking at the current state there is so many coins that has been keeping up and new coins coming in, the fact that bitcoin is replaceable after all there is a chance that because of the electricity and mining rig being expensive more and more are considering other option and that is one thing that threatens bitcoin at the moment. It depends on the miner or users view to be loyal and consistent or to try other ways in difference.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you keep your data on cloud, like AWS s3 on: November 05, 2018, 05:09:54 PM
storing a thing in online is not viable for things as important as that, everything in online is open for threat and its security is pretty much less than keeping it offline. There is a lot ways and a lot of security threat in online and most people can access it an a certain way so having it stored online will eventually a factor that will lead it down, you won't get any benefits from doing so hence there is no reason to.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCH just too off like a rocket on: November 04, 2018, 07:35:50 AM
It's normal, it happens every time there will be an upcoming event it will suddenly grow in an instant and then as the event happens it will slowly go back to normal. The current hype will stop as soon as everyone gets the advantage they are into when they invested in BCH, there will be so much possibility regarding BCH and there is some supporters says that it might happen.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We can’t trust anyone! on: November 04, 2018, 06:30:45 AM
Its inappropriate to tell us that ratings are lies, they rate the project based don't base on overall status and trend instead they analyze the project and tell people how they see the project and it does not mean that if the ratings are high the project will be successful sometimes you have to know what is the current trend and how will gain advantage over it.

Having higher ratings doesn't mean the project will be as successful as other does, it only tells us about how good the project not the future of it.
120  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stability the shortest way to public adoptions. on: November 04, 2018, 05:01:11 AM
For bitcoin to be used as a store of value and a medium of exchanging for goods and services, It must be stable like others currencies.  For the past 5 to 7 weeks now bitcoin has started to develop that characteristics and that is a big sign that both online and offline retails and wholesales business will started to used it very soon.  I believe that in blockchain technology we are getting closer to what the founders has in mind.

I totally agree with your idea, if only bitcoin (the most used crypto) would be more stabilize it would be much easier for it to be traded in such a worldwide basis, the most problem right now is that as much as they want to use it it will take so much time to calculate and reanalyze their product every time bitcoin change its value.
