1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it normal to wait for 6 months for a bounty reward? on: June 14, 2018, 11:23:11 PM

Six months is a long time. It does not make sense to participate in a gift campaign to wait six more months to receive a reward.
In my opinion, 2 or 3 months is the ideal time to receive a reward after the project is completed.

Of course a long time, but there are many projects where they wait even longer, for example, the startup Atlant where people will receive their tokens 18 months, it's very harsh, but there are those who have earned a lot there.

Yes I think so just like what I’m experiencing today especially the first campaign that I have done before. I’m still waiting for my bounty reward even though I do not kow if it still coming. I’m still hoping to hear from it.
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any advice for a newbie? on: June 14, 2018, 11:14:57 AM
Before investing, read as much as you can. Also you should take into account positive and negative comments.
Never sell altcoins, if the price is less that you have invested. It's better to wait in order not to lose.
For newbies I advice that you should make research first on how bitcoin works. Because bitcoin is complicated so as newbie you should have knowledge about this so you won't be shocked into changes in vallue. And for you to have strategies and be wise in making decisions.
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want a long term investment what s the best choice for now? on: June 14, 2018, 11:04:40 AM
I want a long term investment what s the best choice for now?
And thank you for ur help
If your going for long term investment i think the best choice is to invest in Bitcoin even though the price or value is not stable i am pretty sure that in the future Bitcoin will dominate all . So go for Bitcoin in long term investment . Also Bitcoin is the face of cryotpcurrency so it is best to invest on it. The longer you hold also the Bitcoin the more possible profit will come. For now be patient and wait for Bitcoin time for rise again.
If you are planning to have a long term investment I advice that you should invest in bitcoin because it is the primary cryptocurrency because in bitcoin you can have more chances of earning bigger profit. So long term and seeking for big earning bitcoin is better for investment
1004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Your Job is The Worst Idea on: June 14, 2018, 08:22:56 AM
I agre with you and I think the best way to have a good profit is to use crypto "works" like bounty and mining like a secondo job, without quitting main job.
Crypto is a very volatily world.. you can have good profits and gain and then loose everything 2 days later...
I definitely agree with that because everyone knows that job is one of our source of having stable income. If you depend in crypto your taking risk yes we can earn so big in crypto but somehow when you think of our daily financial needs work is the best source of it.
1005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL or REGRET!!! on: June 13, 2018, 11:07:12 PM
Embrace your losses and make it your experience to be better on judgments, because analysis is the most important thing in the cryptoworld you need to know how the market moves.Keep traing forward,do not stop when you lose, quiters will always be losers.

I am currently holding a few tokens of mine from its price 5000 in philippine peso down to Php 4500-Php 4000  and keep on going down to be honest at some point I could feel a regret. But I were to sell it at this time I think I would regret it more so I just keep on holding it with the hope of price increase in the upcoming days.
1006  Economy / Speculation / Re: Perfect Time to Buy! on: June 10, 2018, 02:14:38 PM
I think it will reach $1000+ so soon, we just need to finish with the selling of silk road coins and waiting for the auction of the FBI coins to finish, maybe selling now also is a good choice as the prices for sure will go down a bit.

Always find the right timing. Make sure to check people selling bitcoin when the price drop. Same rule applies when you are the one selling, find the right timing. Never panic when the price drop. Find the right timing.
1007  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this basically just another way to make money? on: June 10, 2018, 02:10:04 PM
There are a lot of businesses people get into just to make money. They way they do it and how ethical they are on the way to success is yet another issue.
Generally the more people are interested in btc, the more development etc and the more adoption with time so I wouldn't necessarily see it as a bad thing.

Another thing is all the scams and ponzi schemes that continuously pop up. Not only people lose money but the reputation of crypto's is being damaged even though it's not the crypto's fault.

Yes, simply put, it is a way to make money thru investments. Making sure you know how to play the game in investments. Make sure to know when to invest and sell in the right time. Know how to strategize.
1008  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Retirement Account on: June 10, 2018, 01:59:02 PM
Yeah, this would not be wise. This locks you into one specific type of investment with no way to make modifications to your portfolio or take out a loan on your retirement account should you need to.

Yeah, totally not a good idea because it lock the sense of security you need from your savings when you retire. Because as you know, bitcoin sometimes drop, so that would put the risk on the savings you put so much into. So i think you should find other means for your retirement funds
1009  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people are still buying BTC? on: June 10, 2018, 02:46:58 AM
OP: you are forgetting: it's fun. there's a lot of people that love the idea of an internet currency. it's very fun. that alone makes it worth something. it's rare. people still seek old baseball cards. etc, etc, think outside the box!
Maybe because they find bitcoin as a good source of profit they buy bitcoin to make some investments. And ofcourse to double or triple their investments its true it may take a long term but if its really worth the wait there is no need to rush things
1010  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin - Can it boost or break a countries economy? on: June 10, 2018, 02:39:36 AM
Bitcoin can boost a countries economy because it will help the people to earn money and the people will use those money to spend on the things that they want and those profit of the shop or the store that the people used to buy things with. Then it will boost the shop or the store's income and the tax of that store will go up too and it will help the country to have a better income which will help itself to improve its system and economy.
I think bitcoin can really boost our economy because bitcoin is a good source of porfit or income. It can lower the number of unemployment when bitcoin introduce to everyone meaning we can vanished poverty because people can really earn money in bitcoin easily thats why boosting economy using bitcoin can be a good idea.
1011  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we teach children to have businessman mentality or be successful employee on: June 10, 2018, 02:34:07 AM
I definitely think kids should be taught to be independents and do there own thing as opposed to becoming another life long worker slave. Unfortunately, schools basically train kids to be future workers, in the west anyhow.
I suggest we teach and educate our kids on how to work on their own. Because being an employee doesn't makes you successful. If you really strive for success build your own business and be the boss. That's how I define success in life. No more orders to follow no more scary bosses to be afraid.
1012  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: June 05, 2018, 09:21:13 PM
Taxes are important if a governments need to work so if someone is cheating while paying the taxes then he will be punished with legal actions. In crypto currencies most of the people are not paying taxes and even many governments don't have proper taxes for its usage that is why the governments are trying to ban the usage because it if continues for a while then it will cause economical disaster in that country.
Well as most of people say and also based on the government policies people has to pay taxes because it is the taxes that will become fund for government projects such road repairs road widening and etc it also serves as fund for calamities so paying taxes is not that bad because we're also the one that benefits to it. And in fact it is for the economy of our country.
1013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: June 05, 2018, 09:17:06 PM
as you said it is risky all difference when we invest in other than bitcoin we can not have control of our fund and we can not withdraw our money or take just what we need at any time
while in bitcoin it's up to us and we can sell it anytime and anytime
unless we invest / join the ICO
Well, people has different perspective on how they see their investment taking the risk as well as on how different the bank and bitcoin works. They were both risky but the thing is they have differences when it comes to benefits well we know that in bank you can take back rightaway what you invest but in bitcoin you need patience but the thing is where can you earn more profit.
1014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How foolish are people who invest in Bitcoin? on: June 05, 2018, 09:13:39 PM
Crazy or not there are still peopled investing even if the price is at the peak, I really think this is not the end of the increase of the price of bitcoin, and there are so much for us to go in a wide variety of value, and in my opinion if the last block isn't mined yet there is a possibility that the price would still increase.
Well, you cannot judge or say people who invest in bitcoin are foolish. Because people who do that is the kind of people who sees bitcoin as their source of profit some might say it is just a risk but there are some who really earn profit in bitcoin thats why we cant say that they were foolish by the fact that they are really earning in bitcoin.
1015  Economy / Economics / Re: How to manage the risk in investing cryptocurrency? on: June 03, 2018, 02:10:18 PM
I will discussed the crypto market are included the btc investors we will discussion the future stability of cryptocurrency in a previous article, but to quickly summarize my point of view, new investors are coming in and holding for long term gains. They are replacing early adopters who got out with their profits. Every day the crypto market gets more stable.Another key coin about risk management is the diversification and size of your portfolio. This is a very long topic, but I will introduce some coin investment in cryptocurrency. if a coin is growing and growth it is certain that the streak will end at some point, so it is best to sell on the way up and look for coins with better risk reward on cryptocurrency.
To avoid the risk you should learn to be patience when it comes to bitcoin because sometimes if you rush on making decisions in bitcoin you might lose profit so bitcoin price is not stable so patience is really somethimg that you need to master if you are using bitcoin to earn
1016  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy on: June 03, 2018, 02:04:58 PM
Yeah, True indeed. Bitcoin and other altcoins is very useful to countries with troubled economy most especially on 3rd world countries where means and outlet of money is rare.
Yes ofcourse  bitcoin can be really helpful to those countries whose really in trouble because bitcoin is a very good source of profit it can be an alternative to work if a person is having a hard time getting or being hired on work
1017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: June 01, 2018, 12:39:35 AM
Bitcoin is indeed risky. But bank investments are risky too. In our country (coz I'm not sure if this exist in other countries). When you have a large amount on your account they will call you and ask you if you want to invest, minimum of 20,000 Php (or 400 USD). They will propose some investment plans where there is a choice of low, medium, or high risk investment. When you choose the high risk there is a chance to lose or gain 100% of your investment (Medium is 75% and low is 50% if I remember it right). It doesn't make sense to me, it sounds like a scam, they will invest using your money and you don't have any control to it. That is why I like bitcoin more, coz Though it is risky and it's very volatile, you have full control on your investment.

What do you guys think?

Banks are more conservative than bitcoin when it comes to high risk high reward part, means btc is more volatile but that doesnt mean that banks are safer. It simply means that in bitcoin, it's riskier in terms of it's movement, it can move 20% in a matter of minutes and fall in a few seconds, but i'd rather hold my btc than invest in a bank, unless i have a good amount of money, then i diversify my investments.

In my own opinion bitcoin investment is riskier than bank investment. Because banks offers service in a more conservative way than bitcoin does. The market fluactuations in bitcoin is so aggressive. It pumps and dump frequently.
1018  Economy / Economics / Re: Wise thing to do with your savings. on: June 01, 2018, 12:28:19 AM
I agree with that reason saving some small amount of money to prefer for some emergency needs is the better way to prevent yourself in rushing yourself where to get some money for the payment. So better to think and plan your money that you will invdst that you can prefer in things that will gonna happened in your daily life.
This is an important decision and one has to be more than wise in making this decision. Savings have to be invested in an asset which gives you good future return and of course have good stable prices. You can also invest in bonds and there are many types of bonds that give you different profit ratio. One should never invest all his savings in crypto because the crypto market is uncertain and anything can happen.

Savings gives you nothing but security. A lot of people know its zero to little capability of giving you profit. Your money will not grow if you focus on savings. The wise thing to do is to invest it. It could give you double or triple in return.
1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose bounty? on: June 01, 2018, 12:10:46 AM
Before I join in different bounty I usually check the website and the whitepaper. I do my own research of the company or the team on how they handle the project. And if the project has potential after the ICO. Next is I check the telegram of the company and the bounty manager of the project. So that I can see if the admin and the bounty manager can communicate with the people who are joining them.
There are so many scams today. To be able to not be victimized by one you need to consider some factors in choosing a good bounty. Of course what was mentioned above, take a look on the website and the white paper. Also a good project depend on who's handling it, the leader or also known as the bounty manager and the team as well.
1020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get more profit? on: May 30, 2018, 11:07:25 PM
Buying altcoins is a good way to make big profit, but you need to do a lot of research before buying to make sure it has good development, community and potential. If it does, it's usually just a matter of time when it will moon.
DeepOnion seems to be very promising - very active devs and community and if you buy now, you will get a lot more Onions from the airdrop, so it seems to be worth it.

Aside from focusing on your career as your source of income, why not try to learn about cryptocurrency and to invest. It could be more than a part time job for you and it could bring you much profit than you’re earning today.
