10121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Low Does Bitcoin's Price Need Get to Make People Stop Believing? on: May 08, 2015, 07:21:28 AM
This is very difficult question.
In my opinion, if people started with bitcoin when price was much higher than now, $ 500 or more, and now, for the long time they don't see any positive changes, I think that this people can start loosing faith in bitcoin, specially if they bought bitcoin as investment only.
If people using bitcoin also for buying and selling digital products and services online, they may think differently.

I hope Real Madrid will win Champions League this years.

I think that now is time for someone else, who didn't win Champions League very long, Juventus Torino.
I really wish them luck but unfortunately, it will not happen.
Right now, the best clubs in Europe are Barcelona sand Bayern, so winner from this match will win Champions League .
10123  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Poll - Where are the most lies told? on: May 06, 2015, 12:44:45 PM
I choose Political candidate speech from your list but you forgot media people, journalist etc.
i think that they lie even more than politicians, in order to see more copies of their newspaper and make more profits for owners.
10124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not a crime on: May 06, 2015, 12:39:23 PM
Why not a crime ponzi and HYIP company in bitcoin ?

maybe managing catch?
The problem with this type of "investment" is that almost every time operator runs away with all money and stole from everyone who invested in.
My thought are: if you don't know whether it is a ponzi or not because operator disguised it as some standard investment it is definitely a crime.
But if you knew exactly that this is ponzi and operator stated that plainly, then it is ok to run these type of activities. Some people would like to gamble and earn big money this way.
They know if they are late they are losing everything and if they pull out in time they will earn.

All in all. It is a grey area and I would never recommend investing in known ponzi because it is too risky.

I tried and invest my money many times in HYIP programs and lost money almost every time.
From my experience, every HYIP is ponzi and crime but people are so desperate to earn some money on Internet, that even they know HYIP is ponzi and crime, they will invest anyway, with desperate hope to get some money back.
I don't think that anybody seriously think that HYIP is legit business butr people will try anyway, it's some type of gambling or casino.
I guess, it's human nature, to expect to get something from no effort or work involved.

Go out, visit your friends or just walk in some nice park or nature, enjoy nice day, do something to help people in your community, be useful etc.
10126  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Switzerland officially the happiest country on Earth on: May 05, 2015, 07:42:09 AM
I visited Switzerland several times and from this experience I can understand why they are the happiest country on Earth.
First, this is very organized state, with excellent legal protection for every citizen.
People really love their country and are proud of it.
Living standard of people is much higher than in neighboring countries.
In that country there were no wars and conflicts last 500 years.
People really enjoy their life without too much stress and problems.
Residents of these countries can directly decide on important political and social issues in the referendum.
In my humble opinion it's the most beautiful country in the world, with stunning natural beauty, ski resorts, forests ...

10127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin actually ready to go mainstream? on: May 05, 2015, 07:33:59 AM
Not at this stage.
Value of BTC is very unstable so mostly people buying it as investment, with idea to sell later with profit.
There are still not to many places where we can buy some digital staff or services, ''big companies'' or payment services still don't accept bitcoin etc.
This situation can change in the future if we, bitcoin users, help with promotion and improving of BTC.
Nothing will change if we just waiting that something happen.

10128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest problem holding back Bitcoin on: April 30, 2015, 06:28:33 PM
Banks will always do what brings benefits and income to them.
If an increasing number of customers will ask for or expect from their bank to help them in using Bitcoin, the bank will adjust and provide such service to them.
It is possible that banks will try to develop similar services that they will be able to fully control.
When banks become bitcoin friendly one of the main obstacle to the spread of Bitcoin will be overcome.
It is possible that with the development of Bitcoin sometime in the future we will not need the service of the banks but we are still far from that point.

Yes bank always like that. They only do what benefit to them without care of people. But they will do anything that ordered by central, if the central ask they to stop the service of bitcoin no matter what they will stop it. So the point is we must do something to the central for accepting this bitcoin first so the rest is easy to control it

Good thinking but what we can do in order to convince central ( I guess you think about government) to accept bitcoin?
In my opinion, As it grows the number of people (and their potential voters) using bitcoin, national governments will be more and more willing to support bitcoin.
For politicians, popularity and the next election are always the most important things, so that politicians will always do what the survey concluded that their constituents want.
The sooner bitcoin comes on top of these desires, the politicians will do their best to provide public support for Bitcoin.
What do you think?

10130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin ever goes mainstream on: April 29, 2015, 09:47:07 AM
I think that in order for bitcoin to become mainstream a few things should happen.
First, some really big and important companies should accept bitcoin.
Promotion should be much stronger and in mainstream media.
Average people should clearly see all benefits of using bitcoin in everyday life.
Bitcoin ATM should be in every corner of the world and many shops (online and offline) should start accepting BTC.
Value of BTC should become stable.
If all this happen I'm sure that BTC will become mainstream, but I'm afraid we are still very far from this point.
If BTC ever goes mainstream its value will raise as rocket and we, early adopters, will become very reach overnight. Smiley

10131  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate? on: April 29, 2015, 09:38:58 AM
I  believe that people hate something they don't understand enough, because of their prejudices, narrow-mindedness, selfishness...
We could see such examples so often in the history like persecution of the Indians and the Incas in America, blacks in Africa, immigrants in Europe today etc.
People tend to think how to protect their own interest only and anything which seems like a threat to their way of life or work, they reject and often start to hate.
Of course, people can also hate on individual and family level, because of their luck of maturity, selfishness etc.
It will be great to live in ideal world without hatred, but we are still very fare from it.
10132  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Price Is Right on: April 27, 2015, 12:57:53 PM
Only care about gadgets while missing the big picture? Satoshi created something that free everyone from banks' slavery

People want to convert their fiat into bitcoin because fiat is a scam, why accept something that is created out of thin air instead of something created with real valuable resources? Of course most of the people are so ignorant that they don't understand the scam of banks, but with the help of internet, more and more people will wake up

I can agree with your concept and ideas. But you need to understand something. People are slaves of current system and majority of us are blind to see that they are being sucked dry, enslaved and exploited.
Think of our situation as similar to Matrix. Satoshi created bitcoin and it is like red pill for people. What I am trying to say is we need a whole generation to pass and embrace bitcoin, we need new blood born in a new reality and then bitcoin may succeed. It won't happen in our lifetime probably.

It seems you are very pessimistic about imminent future of bitcoin.
I think that people will change and adopt bitcoin much faster, as this will be the best option for them.
Already now people are aware of very bad banks practices and they opinion is changing slowly (Occupy Wall street).
So, very soon people will start looking for other financial options, how to get rid of banks and financial debts and achieve financial freedom.
They will realize that BTC is perfect tool for them and start using it.
When this happen, price of bitcoin will raise again.

10133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem with Bitcoin adoption on: April 27, 2015, 12:46:05 PM
I don't think that that bitcoin adoption problem is connecting so much with gender.
Both women and man use regularly credit cards and other financial instruments so it's obvious that women have no problem in using new technologies and financial services.
The real problem with using Bitcoin is that it is not yet globally accepted and its value is quite unstable, which still don't motivate so many people to start using it, both man and women.
Hopefully, this will change soon.
10134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Charity in Nepal - Country Hit by Massive Earthquake on: April 26, 2015, 07:52:53 AM
Thank you for this link, I will donate as soon as I receive some bitcoin.
I have some dear friends in this country and really hope they are safe and ok.
It's great that bitcoin community reacted so quickly in order to support people in this country.
10135  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Hillary Clinton Trustworthy? on: April 26, 2015, 07:49:47 AM
I'm looking this situation from outside, since I'm not American, so I believe I can give a more objective viewpoint.
It seems to me that this woman is simply hungry of power and authority and do not think that's a good qualification for power.
I would never trust someone who's life's ambition and goal seize power at all costs.
Her affair with e-mails and accident in Libya also does not help.
I hope she will not become new US president because of this reasons.
10136  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think about Sig Campaigns? on: April 26, 2015, 07:42:46 AM
For several months I used to join signature campaigns in order to earn money with them; anyway since this week I decided to stop joining sig campaigns, and this for several reasons:

1. Altough I tried to always write useful posts, anyway I think that if someone earns posting on a forum there is the risk that this user sometimes could write unuseful posts just to increase his counting. In order to avoid this possibility I think it's better to stop joining them.
2. I don't want to stay bound to sig campaign's terms ( like the number of posts or other things ).

But, above all:
3. I don't want to publicize sites I don't use.
4. I don't want to publicize sites I don't like.
5. I don't want to publicize sites I don't trust.

So I decided not to completely remove a signature in my profile, but I surely changed my policy: from now on I'll always put into my signature space a link to a company or a website which I regularly use and I completely trust.
I start with The Rock Trading, which is the first exchange I used and I think it's a very good and reliable company. Later I could also publicize other websites I like, for example Directbet or CoinURL.

In general what do you think about sig campaigns? Are you okay to publicize sites which you don't use just to earn some satoshis?

Very honest sharing, thank you.
OK, let me tell you my thinking about this subject.
I don't post much on this forum but generally like to read posts here and replay if I find some thread very interesting. So, if I will writesome posts anyway, why not to join some sig. campaign and get paid for it.
Since I don't post much i choose sig. campaign where I don't have to write to many posts, so I'm not under pressure to write more than I usually do.
Because of this I don't think that quality of my posts changed since I started this sig. campaign.
Regarding last point, to advertise something I don't use, I think that most people understand here that signature campaigns helps people to earn some bitcoin, and that we can't find and promote always something we like to use.
10137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unbelievable amount of misinformation about Bitcoin on: April 24, 2015, 03:55:00 PM
It seems it is very popular to write in a negative tone, as negative news is faster and easier to sell than positive.
The vast majority of these authors do not even understand the concept of virtual currency and Bitcoin, nor bother to investigate this area.
On the internet now all write about everything, and there are very few serious and professional journalism.
Banks and traditional financial institutions doesn't like us, and they will do everything in their power to stop us.
10138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should the government do to make women start using Bitcoin? on: April 24, 2015, 03:44:39 PM
I don't think that any government will do anything to force women or anybody else to start using bitcoin.
Government always defend national interest and bitcoin is not national interest for any country in the world right now.
Hopefully this fact will change once in the future but official opposition to Bitcoin is still very strong, for obvious reasons (no one can control and manipulate Bitcoin and governments do not like it).
10139  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money Laundering? Has it gone too far? on: April 24, 2015, 03:40:57 PM
In my country, the former prime minister is accused for corruption and money laundering. The accused are also more former ministers in the government, known professor at university, big business people and others.
Based on this facts, at least in my country, yes, Money Laundering and corruption has gone to far.
In my opinion the problem is in the awareness of society about this problem and the morality of the people at the top.
10140  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: April 23, 2015, 07:06:00 AM
Definitely I will become rich overnight Smiley
The first thing I would do is to quit current job, buy a better house and go around the world.
Unfortunately, as much as this dream was nice, somehow I just do not believe it will be so easy to achieve.
BTC has not yet become mainstream, there are still very few people know about Bitcoin and we have a long way until that changes, and the value of BTC starts to grow significantly.
