10782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be bigger than Facebook on: September 30, 2014, 10:52:47 AM
i don't think that you can compare Bitcoin with Facebook.
Facebook is social network, bitcoin is crypto currency.
They can work together, of course, if FB accept bitcoin for payments, but we are talking about 2 very different things here.
10783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal now lets shops accept Bitcoin on: September 30, 2014, 10:47:47 AM
Honestly i think that every kind of Mass adoption from the commercial, enterteinment, services, foods etc work fields is a good and positive things towards Bitcoin growth and expasion.

Althought many of these Big Middlemans and Companies seems to be in contrast with the decentralization thing of the BTC, the network and the BTC community will remain decentralized.

Maybe this is the start of something bigger and bigger, bringing more and more attention to BTC and it's related world.

Also, i'm not a fan or supporter of PayPal (had an account on it, blocked for stupid reasons and then never reopened one) but i feel this could be genuine for the BTC health itself, new fresh airs to fill.

I agree with this.
Only way for Bitcoin to become globally accepted and mainstream is that ''big'' merchants and online companies like paypal accept Bitcoin.
When average people see this, their confidence in bitcoin will raise, they will start buying bitcoin (not selling like today) and we will see that value of bitcoin will go again up.
10784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are bitcoiners better people than the current rich? on: September 30, 2014, 10:34:09 AM
I don't think that character of some person depends of his own wealth, job, fact that he use crypto curency or not, religion, race, nationality...
Everyone develop his/her character in the family first, and through life experience, education etc.
This is my opinion.

Good news are that we still have nine slots for Senior\Hero\Legendary\Staff Members.
And since we're less busy answering your question and managing new members, we're about to look more closely to our participants in case they don't correspond to our rules, so more slots may become available as well.
Let the witch-hunt begin.

Stay tuned for Wednesday, when we will make our first payments and will probably make some changes to our rules and system as well.

I joined first day of your campaign, made already many post with your signature because of your  promise that all posts will be counted, even if we have pending status (that pending will be manually fixed and that we can continue to make posts with your signature).
So, now I'm not on the list and you are saying that I made all this effort for nothing, and just gave you free promotion.
I'm not happy about this and feel very frustrated.
I don't feel that you made fair decision for us and will not remove your signature before I hear again from you (with hope that you will change your decision, at least for first members who joined your campaign and already made some posts with your signature).

Never cheat other person.
Honesty and sincerity is the best way, in my opinion, to build trust.
10788  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do we defeat ISIS without U.S. Ground Troops? on: September 28, 2014, 11:39:57 AM
It's impossible just with air strikes.
Either USA and NATO should send their soldiers on the ground to figt with ISIS or prepare and armed local people in Iraq and Syria to fight against ISIS.
10789  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: September 28, 2014, 11:37:24 AM
Hate comes from ignorance.
People don't research facts but believes in media reports and propaganda.
I feel people are to much brainwashed in today's society by the media and governments and don't think with their brains anymore.
10790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you USE your BTC? on: September 28, 2014, 11:33:02 AM
At the moment I have no choice but to spend my earned bitcoins every day.
10791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal partners with Bitcoin ? You mean they're going to take it over on: September 28, 2014, 11:31:36 AM
I just thought about the PayPal hype again.
PayPal will be able to collect a lot of Bitcoin now, without driving the price.
Paying out in fiat will make them the biggest fiat exchange at all, over some time.
They bring more liquidity into the market than any other player.
Its a very clever and well thought out move.

In the end it could only mean one thing:

They will be able to control the price of Bitcoin.
Its practically a takeover and theres nothing you could do about it.

i don't think so.
Paypal may influence price of bitcoin partly but...
Price of bitcoin is determined mostly by users, if more bitcoins is sold price go down, if most bitcoin is bought, price go up...
like in every other market, there is no mystery here.
If big merchants start accepting bitcoin this year, we will again see how price of bitcoin going up.

10792  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bither is giving away bitcoins on: September 28, 2014, 11:24:12 AM
what is 1mbtc, is there a site the can teach me this, I always get confused when someone uses this term and never uderstood it.

if its 0.01 then that is not a bad deal.

It's 0.001 btc or 100000 Satoshi.

Not much but better than nothing Smiley
Thank you for sharing.
10793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A social network that pays you and can store Bitcoin on: September 28, 2014, 11:22:41 AM
Good things, but is it worthless? How much they pay you?
Another big problem will be multiple account that will "jam" the entire system   Sad

I agree.
Already a few social networks and forums tried this model but without success.
FB is popular because people can find there friends, chat with them and have fun, not because someone expect to be paid for his activity.
I don0t think such model- paid for posting, can really work in long term and for many users.

10794  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you download illegally? on: September 28, 2014, 11:09:57 AM

Seriously, I think everybody do this.

I joined from first day but still pending, my posts still showing zero and no email confirmation.
i would like to know if I'm accepted in this campaign or not and if my posts from last a few days will be counted and paid or not.
10797  Other / Off-topic / Re: IF you Want to Choose Love or Money ? Choose any one on: September 27, 2014, 07:29:10 PM
Love is always first but without money is very difficult to really enjoy in love.
Balance is very important.

You can't put all advertisers in one basket.
...
Maybe hire some dedicated people to clean up this mess.

Agreed and there are mods trying their best already to "clean up the mess" but their job has been made very hard by the ad-sponsored posts (this was all discussed in another thread - maybe someone would be kind enough to find that and link it here).

I am not against "freedom of speech" (i.e. would never try to people stop posting because of political content that some governments might not like). I just don't think "freedom of speech" == "freedom to spam".

I am in HK now and man walking down Nathan Road (yes - poor choice of location I'll agree) is a bit like reading this forum (at every corner some guy trying to hassle you to buy a watch or some other thing).

I agree with you.
To much SPAM and it's not easy to find many good quality post anymore.
10800  Other / Off-topic / Re: Conscience on: September 27, 2014, 07:15:26 PM
The bible refers to our Conscience several times.  Paul refers to it in Romans.  It is something we can destroy, just as we can destroy our bodies.

"Even when Gentiles, who do not have God's written law, instinctively follow what the law says, they show that in their hearts they know right from wrong. They demonstrate that God's law is written within them, for their own consciences either accuse them or tell them they are doing what is right."  Romans 2:14-15

Conscience is not an instinct, it is a knowledge, a consciousness put within us by God, it is one of the things that differentiates us from animals. Though the conscience cannot act, it can and does judge. It takes our thoughts, words, deeds and motives and compares them with the moral law of God, with the will of God. Then it passes its judgment.

The Bible is teaching that everyone, even if they've never heard about God's Word, knows they should act according to God's morality by nature. The 18th-century German Philosopher Immanuel Kant said, "Two things fill the mind with ever increasing wonder and awe, the more often and the more intensely the mind of thought is drawn to them--the starry heavens above me and the moral law within me." (Immanuel Kant, Critique of Pure Reason, 1781).

There is a "law" or a "morality" operating in everyone's own heart either accusing us or telling us we are doing what is right. Because of this, we are responsible to do what is right and to avoid what is wrong or sinful, and when we violate our conscience, we feel guilt.

Problem is that our spiritual standard is very far from God's standard, moral, ethic and Conscience.
It seems that people created their own standard, moral, ethic and Conscience, so we don't have any more absolute valuers (from God) but relative, changeable values, and this is the problem in today's society.
Everybody replace God with self proclaimed ''freedom'' and human rights and this create chaos and confusion in society.
Without God there is no ideal world with absolute values to guide us.
