how long have you been investing in bitcoin?
I can't exactly remember. Bitcoin has been told to me since 2013 if my memory serves me right but I ignored it by that time. If I opened my curiosity by that time and took time to research probably I have a lot of bitcoins now. What percentage of the profits is brought to you by early investments in bitcoin?
I bought during $600-$1,000 again if I recall it correctly. Sold some at $1,000 - $2,500 and so on, luckily still have some holdings until now.

Or lets say if the price really goes high and when the year end comes, won't the people sell it before the decline arrives ?
For sure when the price arrives high again in sometime, many will start selling but we don't know on how long will stay and when decline will come. If people start selling, don't you guys think that the decline will arrive much faster than the last year ?
We don't know, it can go faster or it won't or it will gradually decline. I hope that this year's increase and decrease is different from before and is going to be on a higher level of increase but lower level of decrease.

You made a huge mistake. You have bought bitcoin in the moment of market trend abandoned bitcoin and electronic money. So maybe you are currently losing money. But rest assured that people are back to invest in electronic money. Very likely the bitcoin price will increase to 13k
He might did a huge mistake for buying at the wrong time but still he has a lot of bitcoin that's currently on hold. If he won't do nothing but keep on holding it until the price goes up, he'll remain in profit. He's currently in lose but this how the market goes, if you are currently in loss then you don't have to worry and do something out of panic. He needs to wait until the market recovers and he will be fine.

Wrong coin and wrong strategy of investment. You dont invest just because you've heard that it will bring you to moon soon.
Researching on what you are investing is what an investor need, dont invest because of hearsay but invest because you know that its the right place for your money and you know what you are doing.

Bitcoin has been used firstly on deep web and until now most of the merchants there are only accepting bitcoin. Well in fact, the first use of cryptocurrency occurs in silkroad that is why the image of cryptocurrency or bitcoin from people has been shattered, that is why people are scared about bitcoin due to silkroad incident.
That's the sad fact, people that doesn't know bitcoin are generalizing it as payment for illegal transactions only.

The actual reason for the decrease of each coin is its demand is getting lower. When many holders are selling at the same time that makes the impact for the price to go lower.
Basic economics / law of supply and demand.

Ethereum @ $31,000 on scenario 1 (2020) that's too high. I'm thinking on how much bitcoin would that be by that time. This section is for bitcoin speculations only. Move this to Speculation (Altcoins).

That's your choice and strategy, if you can't afford bitcoin then try to do something so that in the future you can avail bitcoin. Most of the traders are cultivating their trading skills through buying cheaper altcoins and selling it when it gets high. But if you have a goal of buying bitcoin soon, make sure that you're going to buy during the times when it's on dip.

does the number of crypto be one of the effects of declining bitcoin prices?
It has been seen when bitcoin goes down, others alts are declining too. The market can't be told as there many factors not only the number of crypto's that affects bitcoins price but also the holders. Mainly with supply and demand. In reality, there's no real effect from my own opinion as bitcoin is still the well known digital currency that will be used by people who understand the chain, even each days we seen new projects that appears, in most cases its still needs bitcoin knowledge beforehand and investors will joined, no real usage means no real competition against the first crypto unless the said coins will be promoted by certain company whereas the means of transactions will be cater, still depend on certain aspects and supports coming from investors and traders. There are coins that doesn't real usage but they have real market, you know what I mean? As long as there's community for those coins they can contribute not only to bitcoin but to the market as well. As long as these coins are being traded and there are people who are buying and selling it still those coins will have effect for bitcoin, you need bitcoin before buying those alts.

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/south-korean-supreme-court-rules-bitcoin-asset/ I read about this news that in south korea bitcoin is legally become recognizeable as asset. I do think bitcoin is a currency and not an asset. I dont know whether this is good news or not for cryptocurrency. One thing i believe with legalization from goverment i do think more investors will come to invest in bitcoin, but i think if bitcoin become an asset its not as it suppose to because i believe bitcoin should be a currency which is currency is for transaction and asset is not for transaction. You have the free will to think and assume on what bitcoin really is base on your acceptance. In USA, bitcoin is a commodity for them so if South Korea tells that bitcoin is a recognizable asset that's a good news right? If a country recognize bitcoin as something valuable that's the important thing as long as they are not throwing bitcoin away and will suddenly declare that it is an illegal currency to penetrate into their jurisdiction and won't allow their citizens to use.

Does every single coins that are in the market really usable in our daily lives?
Some are useful like bitcoin but the rest are just making the crypto market crowded and they have only one the same goal and purpose. That purpose is to make money mainly for developers and for their investors. Are there any solutions about this problem that we, the users in this forum, can do?
Don't worry a solution will eventually impose and will make these useless coins out in the market.

I'm done with the bear market predictions so what will be the good price starting August up to December?
I actually think that we are lacking bearish predictions. I want kwukduck to come back. I miss that dude. I sent him a PM just now in the hope that he will get an email notification. I asked him to come back. His last activity dates back from late February this year. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) Man!!! you made me miss kwukduck. I don't know if there are some spells with his predictions but truly when he predicts about bear market, opposite thing is happening for real. Thank you very much. Then bitcointalk is a more mature forum if you would never blame anyone for a bear prediction to come true. It is really hilarious indeed. After the late June 5900 we are going to see hopefully some bounce back to 6900. Well some perma bear talking about 3000-5000 price levels and then a huge bounce back to 7000. I am moderate with my 5900. So then we will hit 6900 by middle of July and then early August we will hit 7900. This is the star of the real bull market. Then end of August 8900 and the end of September 9900 and then hopefully we hit 17000 by middle of December. Then crash down again.... I don't expect a new ath this year for sure. 80% likely this scenario. 18000 is out of question. 17000 is already mega optimistic.
You are free to give your thoughts and predictions here as long as it is not offensive and you are not breaking any of the forum's rule. I skipped with your prediction with $5,900 - $9,900 as I'm fine also with those prices. But with what you've said about $17,000 at the middle of December that's realistic and as usual after these ATH's another crash may occur just like what happened in the past.

I've seen people here in my country through social media that recently got into mining during all time high and now they are selling their mining rigs. It's nothing for us if they leave their job for crypto's, they believe on it just like us but still leaving your job is a matter of choice. They studied probably the risk that they are taking by choosing their path so don't think about it as it's not your problem. How they can earn money for daily need if only depends on the crypto?
There's day trading and if they earn, it can be one time big time when the market is green.

Likewise, I think Ripple will go nuts, regulation and banking adoption does not need to be a bad thing
It's what the CEO keeps on telling that most of the banks will adopt it on 2019 which I highly doubt. I don't have XRP and I don't want to hold and have it. They figure it out and doing the same marketing as tron by hyping it out with some news that's positive to them.

Well there are so many large bank in the world that are accepting bitcoin but be careful some of them are regulated by the government and some of them will questioned you what are the sources of your funds so be careful always complete your documents just in case. There are withdraw button in some wallet online.
This has been posted on December 2017 and I think OP got the way to cash out his balance on blockchain.info. What you are saying is far away from what OP is asking. About the deposits, it can be questionable if you are depositing large amount amount of money or by transferring big balance from blockchain wallet > exchange > bank.
