1021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is usdt?? on: December 21, 2017, 01:05:23 AM
I actually just put a great overview of Tether (USDT) on my blog if anyon wants a good overview.

"The theory behind USDT is simple. A company called Tether created their own token on top of Bitcoin using Omni Layer. Then Tether holds 1 US dollar in a reserve fund for each USDT token issued. So when you open up a Tether account and deposit $100 into it, Tether holds that $100 in reserve and then issues you 100 USDT tokens which you can then take into the exchanges and trade with. Whenever you decide that you want convert back to US dollars, you send the USDT tokens you’ve accumulated back to your Tether account and tell them to wire the equivalent money to your bank account."

Read the whole thing at: http://www.jsfour.com/untethered

Thanks for this explanation made it clearer and somehow possible. But What do we have to prove that this reserve exist? Do they have a public ledger or something?

At more cheaper ata mag-mine kung via Equihash na algo or via GPU. Just make sure na may future at profitable talaga ang mina-mine nyo na coin. Plus additional advise, use solar power for more cheaper and greener mining. Lets find ways! We are filipinos.

Pano po makabuy ng coins sa Coinbase? batkit "not available in your country"? If makakabuy.

1024  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to trade efficiently? on: December 19, 2017, 02:09:48 PM
I know that it varies from people to people and their strategies but there must be some important and basic points which people tend to forget all the time .
Of course I don't want you to reveal your trading strategy but some good tips that would really help me out.

First of all, leave day trading to the bots! Go for longer term trades on recently heavily dumped coins. Don't diversify too much, and don't buy small amounts of a lot of coin. You will end up only with scraps. Concentrate on few well researched coins instead. Hunt down coins with solid, new technology and buy the dips.
And stay away from pump groups. The good ones are closed clubs with rather high buy-in price.
Good suggestions but he can actually make day active trades but depending on how much time he would put up into trading. If time is to hectic then better go for longer terms when it comes on trading cryptos and as being suggested don't diversify too much and it much better to have a few coins but on solid ones rather than on have many but on weaker or doesn't have any potential for long term. This would really matter on how a certain individual would do its just like on researching up important things.

I trade mostly on safe coins like the ones in the top 10 of the coinmarketcap.com. I felt safe with them. Good thing i've read this thread I have been following a chat and they mostly have calls that are up for a second and then down. Seems like those kinds of calls manipulate the market just for a while.
1025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Korea To Tax Bitcoin Use on: December 19, 2017, 12:39:27 AM
India has already started to Tax profits on Bitcoin where you will be taxed 20-30% on your profits depending on long or short term investment .
And how to control it?
Do you need to indicate the profit in the reports yourself?

Yeah may i ask also, how are they able to take tax out of those investments? Or maybe its the exchange that puts tax before you can even withdraw or take profit? Please tell us.

1027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if a person died with BTC!! on: December 18, 2017, 07:39:09 AM
This is a great question. Have you guys even thought of that? This will most likely decrease the circulating supply of bitcoin and of course, this will happen more and more (including those were sent to a wrong address) and might affect the price. As for the bitcoin, then it will not be more accessible.
1028  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ximply trading -learn how to trade on: December 15, 2017, 08:59:11 AM
Guys ito yung crypto portfolio ko ngayon and makikita nyo na yung market nag pull back sya today ng malaki at lahat naka red except for bitcoin. ito yung sinasabi ko na good timing. pag nag HIGH and market you need to SELL and pag LOW ang market you need to BUY. If you are following my post I already sold my short term cryptos and now im all in USD to BUY on deep.

Now is the time to BUY guys.

Good luck and happy trading.

EDIT: napansin nyo EOS sa portfolio ko? yan kasi long term hold ko and currently almost 8x na ako dyan. Sa June 2018 matatapos na ICO stage nya at for sure na lalong tataas yan. target price ko is $100 at nabili ko sya ng $1 price nya at bumili na ako ng madami 1,000. kaya kung bibili kayo ng long term try to consider EOS as one of your choices. parang every 3 days tumataas sya ng $1 sa price. check nyo nalang chart nya.

Sa ngayon im looking to buy the following:

XMR $250-$280 price range
NEO $31-$35 price range
LTC $150-$200 price range
ETC $25
OMG $7
BTC waiting for the big deep at $10k

1029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ♨♨♨ Bitcoin Fees Are Outrageous ♨♨♨ on: December 11, 2017, 08:17:04 AM
90% of all bitcoin owners have less than 0.1 BTC each

the fees to transfer $100 worth of BTC cost around $25. that is outrageous
Yes the fee is too high, I hope there is a way to lowering the fee of bitcoin transaction. The current fee will not good for daily transactions, I am sure that people will prefer like to use paper money if the fee is still high.

This is one of the sad side of this beautiful market. This muıch transaction fee is not really sustainable. I believe that will effect the future of bitcoin.

I thought also, If fees were this high then bitcoin will need a front coin to support microtransactions. I hope lightning helps.

If only one game based on a block chain can deal a big blow to the network, what happens when there are several such games.
I was wondering about that myself,is assumed that these types of developments should have foreseen that kind of details, although these limitations mean that developers quickly will find a solution to that to enable more capabilities in such developments or applications.

It's perfectly showcasing the vulnerability of the current ethereum network, maybe this is only the beginning.

I agree this shows what is not yet seen. I wonder what ETH network is up to now to fix this congestion do you guys thinks lightning network will help?
1031  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Hirap na Magconvert to BTC taas pa sobra ng Fee 💸 on: December 10, 2017, 04:51:40 AM
Ang alam ko lang way kase ay bumili thru Coins.ph at transfer from Coins.ph to trading or savings wallet.

Alam ko naman sabay talaga sa pagtaas ng Bitcoin ang fee pero as i said x2 yata sa Coins.ph sa mycelium ko ay decent naman based sa price ng Bitcoin ang pag transfer. Sana may makapag suggest.
1032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy BTC? on: December 08, 2017, 09:37:19 AM
Buy and keep it for atleast a year. I have seen and heard positive trends will come to bitcoin next year. Also now that the scaling solution for bitcoin is ready. The lightning network. Woah. It will surely be a blast.
1033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY]: 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 Token : The future of online payments is here. on: December 08, 2017, 09:32:50 AM
Do they have any update for bounty distribution?
1034  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Hirap na Magconvert to BTC taas pa sobra ng Fee 💸 on: December 08, 2017, 09:31:36 AM

May KYC poloniex dba? Ano gamit nyo kung nakapagconfirmed na kayo? Anong ID? =)

Anyway, this is not surprising at all. Mataas value ng BTC. So tataas dn fees ng miners. The thing is, wala tayong magagawa jan.

Grabe
1035  Local / Pamilihan / Coins.ph Hirap na Magconvert to BTC taas pa sobra ng Fee 💸 on: December 08, 2017, 02:20:39 AM
Anung masasabe nyo guys.

Dahil ba to sa trend sya?

1037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: December 06, 2017, 10:50:00 AM
It will depend on how bitcoin died. If its because blockchain is somehow proved to be hack-able in a way. Then altcoins will surely die with it because it relies on the same technology. If its other issues that is not general (like internet, or the technology itself) an altcoin can survive.
1038  Economy / Exchanges / Re: UNOFICIAL: Bittrex has been seized by US Government Authorities. on: December 06, 2017, 10:41:29 AM
Are they to apply KYC to their customers? Its more likely a requirement nowadays.

1040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: December 06, 2017, 08:42:33 AM
If youre going to do Crypto Trading maybe it is. It can be a full time at home work just like Stock Trading. But to be only trading bitcoin i think you should atleast think again.

If the work is more promising should emphasis on your actual work than Bitcoin because Bitcoin doesn't become you can get rich

Ah no, actually someone became millionaire because of bitcoin.
