1021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 29, 2023, 08:21:05 PM
Girona's failure to win their Week 14 match meant they had to be displaced by Real Madrid. Actually their points are still the same, having 15 points, but Girona lost goal productivity from Real Madrid so they must occupy 2nd place.
Can we say Girona are starting to falter? in my opinion it could be yes and it could be no. the article the club they face in week 14 is also a club that is difficult to beat. And if you look at the statistics of the match also actually a draw is a fair result for both clubs. Real Madrid began to return to the top of the standings through this 14th week.
We all have our clubs that we supports, we have to be extremely careful when selecting the team we support, because it wouldn't be great idea to support a mediocre team simply because they're in good form for just a season. Girona are going nowhere this season, they will decline and even dropped from the the top four race, they can't possess the require consistency for league games. We should stop hyping Girona because they're out of the picture when it involves La Liga title. We know teams that can deliver in top games and the ones that just exists and gives temporary actions.
It is very difficult to predict Girona consistency in La Liga this season, because we have never seen them so dominant at the top of the standings. Before yesterday draw against Bilbao, even Girona beat point Madrid, Barcelona and ATM below them, what they did really should not be allowed. But despite his actions, I think it is still necessary to wait until the first half of the season is over to truly assess the extent of the greatness of Michel club.

I think miracles exist, but they are quite rare to happen, although this does not rule out the possibility. As we all understand, Girona can only win over clubs that have the same quality as them, or slightly above them, or it could be called mediocre clubs. This method is quite effective in securing points, and their luck will really be tested by Valencia and Barcelona in the future.

It will be very unfortunate for Madrid, Barcelona and ATM if Girona emerges as La Liga champions at the end of the season. Even now, just imagining it doesn't make sense, unless these three clubs will lose a lot of points in the future. But apart from that, I think Girona deserves a place in the UCL next season, but I don't expect their fate to be like Union Berlin in the Bundesliga.
1022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 29, 2023, 07:29:01 PM
Even though PSG couldn't make the best start in the league first they still managed to get to the lead easily and opened a quite wide gap with the others - except Nice. This just shows the quality of the Ligue 1 clearly I'm afraid. PSG even made big changes in their lineup this season. But still there is a huge quality gap between their squad and the rest of the teams. Probably this season is going to be another one in which PSG win the league title no matter how difficult it becomes.

Maybe Nice can make things more difficult but I don't know. We need to see at least the same performance which Lens had in the previous season.

Although Nice is still unbeaten so far and also only has a gap of 1 point with PSG but still, Nice does not have good goal productivity at this moment. Thus, it is likely that this factor will make it difficult for Nice to overtake PSG. Although for example Nice can return to the top of the standings but yes, it still seems easy for PSG to take over the top of the standings again and until finally PSG will still get the Ligue 1 trophy this season. But yes, indeed, at least Nice also has a good defense so far, because Nice managed to be a team that conceded a very low total. But at least, that factor still won't be enough for Nice to compete well with PSG in the title race.
Yes, but the competition is still long while the difference in points is still very close and I still believe that Nice will overtake PSG again in the next match and my belief is after seeing Nice's excellent consistency, they have never even been defeated and have no scheduled matches in other competitions, whereas PSG It will be difficult with other matches in the Champions League, making PSG decline a little and have to focus on one competition.

But I will say that there is still a chance. I cannot even say that for the other team in this league. They have fallen off so far that there is almost no chance for them to be able to catch PSG. If any team can actually catch PSG now it is going to be Nice. For every other team, the point difference is just too much to be able to close. And even though I also do not think that PSG will face any big problems because of Nice I still hold out hope. But I still do not think that PSG is going to be beaten by any team for the title.
Nice has not been defeated at all this season in 13 matches, but I don't see them as worthy to challenge PSG. Not without reason, because they are having difficulty winning, so far they have drawn 5 times. Lille (week 1), Lorient (week 2), Lyon (week 3), Brest (week 7) Montpellier (week 12), these are the five clubs that managed to hold Nice pace in collecting points. I think the consistency that Nice currently has will not last long, in other words, it will only be temporary.

Although I was quite impressed with their success in beating three strong clubs, PSG, Monaco and Marseille. However, that doesn't mean anything if in the future they still struggle to get 3 points, so breaking PSG dominance this season will be difficult for them. Moreover, if PSG is eliminated in the UCL or continues to advance to the Europa League, then Enrique squad will be quite difficult to beat in Ligue 1, because they will be fully focused.

But this is just an assumption, which may be completely wrong, or maybe half right. By not underestimating the potential of other clubs in Ligue 1, all possibilities are still quite open to happening, it could be that in the second half of the season the story and scenario will be reversed. However, based on calculations, with all the attributes they have, and an experienced coach, I think PSG still deserves to be superior in lifting the trophy at the end of the season.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 29, 2023, 06:48:44 PM
Union Berlin is not performing well. And I will actually agree that it seems like the authority is really not worried about that to be honest. Otherwise, I think they would have already made a big decision. I think they are actually okay with the club performing like this.  And if they keep performing like this, I am pretty sure that they are not going to be able to survive in this league. The way they are performing right now it seems they are definitely going to get relegated. Only two wins so far in this season are definitely not good enough for them.  By the way, does anyone think that only changing the coach is going to solve all the problems?
I think replacing the coach will not solve Union Berlin's problems instantly this season, because in the UCL Union Berlin is also very bad and even today Union Berlin will not be able to win against SC Braga if Union Berlin's own performance does not improve at all. In the Bundesliga Union Berlin actually still has a chance to save itself from being relegated as long as it can still get several points in each match by not experiencing more defeats in a row.
I agree that changing the coach does not guarantee that the problem will be solved, as happened to Chelsea some time ago for example. But the hope to bring change is also there, this will actually be a very difficult consideration for them. If they are wrong in appointing a new coach, then it will be a disaster and the problem will become more complicated, but if they appoint the right coach, then it will be a good solution.
But I would like to say that a change of coach is not guaranteed to bring about a change for the better, but it could happen.
However, what needs to be underlined here is that changing coaches is the only way Union Berlin hopes to improve the team overall performance. I saw that from the top of the club to their lowest level, had great respect for Urs Fischer, a quite emotional farewell, after more than 5 years of work and dedication to the club. Union Berlin needs a new successor to lead the dressing room, they need different motivation, even though the risk of this change has been taken into consideration by management.

Not many coaches are able to guide a club to improve gradually until it is finally able to appear in Europe highest competition, Urs Fischer has proven in this case that he is one of them. For this reason, I think he deserves high appreciation, because we know how difficult it is to build a club without being supported by an adequate budget like Bayern Munchen.

I also understand that the current interim coach is not a guarantee of instant results, for a while before the transfer window opened, Marco Grote is required to manage Fischer legacy squad. For the meantime, the most realistic target is to get out of the degradation zone, no longer talking about other opportunities, for me they deserve to stay and play here next season.

1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 29, 2023, 04:50:01 PM
Arsenal is fantastic. Arsenal is number one with 30 points, then Man City with 29 points and 3rd place - Liverpool and Aston Villa. Competition is huge, everyone chases first place and everyone is so near that we will have interesting matches in the near future.
Arsenal must not be lulled by their success in reaching the top of the standings, the competition is still long, there are still surprises that will occur as long as the competition is not over. Manchester City and Liverpool are Arsenal's strongest competitors in the fight for the EPL title, Aston Villa also appears extraordinary with the points they have achieved.

Tottenham, which initially appeared superior, started to lackluster, they started to be inconsistent in the last three matches, which made them increasingly fall behind the top of the standings. The competition between Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool will continue until the competition is over, these three teams have shown their best performances this season and have good team quality.
I have doubts that Aston Villa can continue to maintain its performance, what happened to Tottenham could happen to Aston Villa.

I am also quite sure that Aston Villa will be thrown back from the top four of the standings, if Bournemouth cannot do it in week 14, then Man City will step in directly in week 15 to execute Unai Emery squad from the top four. I was quite surprised at Ange squad and how could it be, Tottenham were so unlucky yesterday and managed to be beaten by Aston with a score of 2-1 in front of their own supporters.

At a moment like this, Man United should be able to get an advantage to push into the UCL zone. However, looking at their next two matches, it is very likely that they will be unstable again and lose points, because they will face Newcastle and Chelsea. the fate of the Ten Hag squad this season is truly unfortunate, there are obstacles for them to improve the situation. Despite their promising win over Everton previously, I doubt The Red Devils can beat these two tough opponents.

Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool are the three clubs currently competing to be number one in the standings. these three will overtake each other and swap places, I see them as real title contenders this season, and I predict they won't be out of the top four until the end of the season. this means that teams interested in playing in the UCL next season will have to fight to secure a one place below them.
1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 29, 2023, 02:53:21 PM

Juventus is rested more than Inter Milan this year. They do not play any matches in Europe and I think they manage to use this as an advantage. I wonder where Inter, who is doing very well in Europe and the league, will have problems? In Europe or Serie A? Or will they go well in both? What are your predictions?
I think now the is the golden opportunities for Juventus to use everything within their reach to surpassed Inter Milan on the table this season. We quite understand how competitive Juventus can be and how Massimiliano Allegri have put in enough work and tactics to enable the club to become this consistent and strong for oppositions, they shouldn't jeopardize their chances of winning the scudetto this season because next season might turn out to become different one, our expectations might not be triggered and they will open to new surprises ready to kickoff.
Actually, Juventus has a very good chance this season because Juventus does not play in other competitions except in the domestic league. However Juventus strong rival Intermilan is an obstacle for Juventus to get the scudetto because Inter Milan is also trying to balance the stability of the team to play in two competitions, the Champions League and the domestic league, even to shift Inter's position is also quite difficult because Inter has played impressively so far.
So Juventus have to fight even harder while waiting for Inter Milan to slip from its position and Juventus can take over that position, but on condition that Juventus continues to appear consistent and stays close to Inter Milan.
Juventus hopes of overtaking Inter are quite big in the future, especially if Inter advances further in the UCL which requires them to focus more there. I see that Juventus is better than Milan and Napoli in pressing Inter at the top of the standings for the time being, with the lack of match schedules and competition, Aleggri squad should fight optimally to get the Scudetto at the end of the season. However, I think they have to look for a new midfielder to cover the position left by Pogba, the transfer window is the best option and they have to move actively there.

However, on the other hand, by missing European competitions this season, Juventus income will automatically decrease drastically. In my opinion, this will influence their steps in building a squad in the future, we know that in financial terms it is not only Juventus who are experiencing a difficult position, in fact almost everyone feels the same way.

I think it makes sense that Juventus has big ambitions and is determined to win the Scudetto and other trophies at domestic level. This aims to give them big bonuses so they can use them to build their squad in the future. I also understand that this can only happen if Inter experiences a setback or something, but hoping for that is not a good idea, Juventus must consistently collect points while waiting for Inter to stumble.
1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 29, 2023, 01:11:44 PM
At least after Manchester United victory in the Premier League against Everton it certainly increased the players confidence to try their best against Galatasaray. However, that alone was not enough because Galatasaray squad was solid, mature and able to move to create opportunities to fully support victory. Moreover, this season Manchester United chances in the Champions League are quite slim, we'll see if they succeed in beating Galatasaray it means increasing their chances of improving in their last match. Personally, I would bet that Galatasaray playing at home will provide positive motivation.
Manchester United's victory at the Goodison Park during the last weekend without doubt is gonna boost the team's confidence and morale going in their fifth game in the UEFA Champions League competition which is an away match at home of Turkish Super Lig champion Galatasaray. But likely you rightly pointed out, that doesn't guarantee them of a win against Galatasaray later tonight because just the Turkish club has been more formidable than their visitors in the UCL this season as well as has performed better in their league than what Manchester United did in the English Premier League.

Considering the general impressive performance of Galatasaray this season, I'll be very surprised to see them suffer a defeat against United tonight knowing how important the game is to them as a team.
On paper, Man United can beat Galatasaray even though they act as the visiting team. I say that because I see United as an elite club in the EPL, and have been poor in the UCL, even though I understand that the Ten Hag squad is currently the club most highlighted due to their poor performance, no longer because of their good reputation. This doesn't mean I underestimate Galatasaray, I never thought about that at all, because I still remember how Icardi and his colleagues beat United in front of their supporters in the first leg.

Apart from that, Bayern is now in a safe position which will certainly reduce the tension of the game a little, this means that Copenhagen will maximize their efforts to record a draw, because beating Bayern can be said to require a miracle. If Bayern and Copenhagen draw, and United and Galatasaray draw, then the Danish representatives will have the luck to qualify for the round of 16, even though they have to fight again in the deciding round in the last match against Galatasaray.

I think the situation for group A is quite complicated in fighting for one slot to the next stage, it could be that the prediction goes according to the circumstances and could be completely wrong. I really understand that the UCL is very different from domestic competitions, it requires mentality, hard work and teamwork to progress step by step, although sometimes luck will play its role and side with an unexpected club later.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 28, 2023, 06:08:19 PM
It's not wrong, if there really wasn't any effort in the transfer window then it would be appropriate to say that Lyon really wanted bad things to happen to themselves. It seems that what you mean is true, I see a difficult match ahead, Lyon will face Lens, the club that once surprisingly beat Arsenal. It is very likely that Lyon will lose again, and Fabio Grosso will extend his bad reputation in his managerial career.
The transfer window is aimed at every moment to strengthen their squad by carrying out various buying and selling of players or signing new players, and this is big opportunity for Lyon to be able to improve their squad and be able to have good development in the future.
They have been under constant pressure so that every match only ends in a draw and also a defeat.
Now they are on the verge of relegation if there are no changes and good developments until this season ends. If they are relegated from Ligue 1 then they will only stay in League 2.

~snip~
I intended to make an expression about how dramatic Lyon's fate is this season, it doesn't mean "comfortable" here they didn't try, and this is just an inverted expression. Of course no club wants degradation, because after all that is not in everyone's dictionary.
When team like Lyon is relegated, they can play more easily because they will only play with League 2 teams who might be very easy to beat.
But when they can win League 2 and get promoted back to Ligue 1, won't that just be the same as Lyon still failing there.
But here, I still have confidence that Lyon can rise from its downfall and get out of the degradations zone. If later they will also be relegated then what can be done, but what is most unfortunate is that the reputation they have built in Ligue 1 will be tarnished, and they will no longer be considered an elite club. Club officials must spend a budget to improve the squad, not just replace the coach and hope that a turning point in performance can occur instantly.

~~ Snip ~~
Maybe the degradation zone is comfortable for them, so they are reluctant to leave there. Even though I understand that Lyon is one of the elite clubs in Ligue 1, what they are showing now is really damaging the reputation of the club that has been built previously. The change of coach has not been successful, and most recently they lost badly at home 2-0, which is really embarrassing.

I just think they can only target this season to get out of the degradation zone, no longer talking about the UCL zone, Europa League or something like that, because that looks impossible for them. I read the history of Lyon under the leadership of Jean Michel Aulas, it impressed me, it seems like the change in ownership has not yet shown signs that they will become title contenders. the january transfer market should be a solution to rebuild the club, as well as boost their performance to be a little better.
It's not about comfort but Lyon are confused they can't get out not not wanting to get out.
Their problems are too complex which makes their performance chaotic in the end. This made them unable to improve and had a bad season.
There is still plenty of time for them to make the situation better, but it won't be easy. They still have a lot to do, especially to improve their defense which is still very bad.
Talking about Lyon and the Champions League is ridiculous because in the end no matter how good they are, they've never even touched the Champions League before and the highest they've been is the conference league. The hope for Lyon is not to go to the Champions League but to return to being a troublesome money team and enliven the competition instead of being in the relegation zone like now.
It can be understood that Lyon still has the opportunity to improve the situation in the future. Ligue 1 still has 21 matches ahead, and there are 5 matches before the January transfer window opens again. This means that if they are active in the transfer window, there are still 17 remaining matches which are a field of points that they have to collect. I hope they can improve, but despite all that if they have a lot of budget, then this problem is quite easy to solve.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 28, 2023, 05:38:45 PM
It has been a really poor performance by Juventus so far. I'm even surprised with how they are still not behind Inter by playing poorly. I didn't expect to see them like this after that big start to the season. I thought we started to have the old Juventus back but they are playing really badly against Inter now. They were much better in the first half.

But Juventus don't have even a single goal attempt in the whole second half while we are in the final moments of the game. There are goals by Vlahovic and Martinez and it is still 1-1. It was important for Vlahovic to make progress in one of the most important games of the season for Juventus. Because there has been a serious level of drop in his performance recently.
Juventus were very careful in carrying out attacks which they might have been able to do, after winning the lead and then Inter immediately replying, the Old Lady started to lower the tempo. I think it's difficult to develop in a match at such a high level, especially since Allegri has a bad record against Simone Inzaghi. This draw is certainly not very good for both of them because one additional point does not make a big difference in the standings, it's just that the positions of Juventus and Inter are getting closer to Milan and Napoli.

You are excessively harsh on Juventus, remember that they had five injured starters and that the strength of the team on paper is totally different. I am very satisfied with my team, this strategic draw helps a lot, Inter does not run forward but remains at the same distance.

The fans want victory in the derby match but we cannot change the final result, Juventus and Inter Milan played very carefully in building attacks in the first half and in the second half, because victory in this match could determine the standings in Serie A, with a score  In my opinion, a 1-1 draw is much more adequate than Juventus, even though they were hit by several players who suffered injuries, at least Juventus' standing still shadows Inter Milan.
I am quite sure that the competition at the top of the Serie A standings will be contested by just two clubs, Inter Milan and Juventus. I think Allegri squad was still lucky in yesterday derby match because they avoided defeat, because on paper Inter were better than them. Yesterday match looked too careful, monotonous and could be said to be boring, which is very natural I think because both of them wanted to secure their respective places and didn't want to lose points.

However, for me, Juventus is the only club that will be a big challenge for Inter this season, Milan and Napoli are considered unstable in pursuing their consistency at the top of the standings. However, with the busy schedule of clubs competing in the UCL, it should be an advantage for Juventus in catching up on points from Inter, they have more time to prepare and rest.

However, on the other hand, Juventus is said to not be able to get out of its problems completely, players are involved in gambling, doping and injuries. Meanwhile, at the management level and club officials, they are quite vulnerable to managing the club so that they no longer receive sanctions in the future. Apart from all that, for me Juventus could be a strong candidate to win the Scudetto if Inter focused more on the UCL.
1029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 28, 2023, 04:04:38 PM
Arsenal did try their luck and managed to become top of the standings, but I agree that they won't be first until the end of the season... Last season they had a 100% opportunity to win but god only knows why they couldn't do it... This season it seems to me that history will quickly repeat itself...

Last season, their sole aim was to qualify for the Champions League Football and that they achieved. Anyways, they should have done better by trying to win the league. The draw against Southampton was painful that should have given em a clearer pathway. They snoozed, they failed and I believe lessons from the experience has been learnt.

Manchester City didn't replace some of them players well though, it has affected their general performance. I also do not see Manchester City as winners of the Premier League Competition.
There should be more additional players that fits into the plans of Mikel Arteta long term plans for the club. Arsenal was my favorite to win last season, I'm still rooting for another club to win. Pep Guardiola gradually turning the league into farmers league LoL.
The only reasons why Arsenal failed last season were the lack of rotation options, unbalanced squad depth, and Arteta tactics which seemed easy to guess. Of course experience is the best teacher and Arteta has learned from the bitterness of last season, his efforts to improve the club by recruiting like players Declan Rice and Kai Havertz, and changing several approaches in his strategy made his squad successful in defeating Man City, for me this success shows that they are very ready for any challenge this season.

I don't doubt Pep Guardiola in managing his club, I think even though some of their new recruits are not optimal, City is still on the favorite path as a champion candidate. City defeat to Wolves and Arsenal does not necessarily put them off the list of favorites, I mean last season we saw them still win the EPL trophy with 5 defeats and 5 draws.

Apart from that, I think many things will happen in the next 24 matches, it could be Liverpool becoming champions at the end of the season, or it could also be Arsenal, and it doesn't even rule out the possibility that City can defend it again. The competition for the top four continues with a narrow points gap, a slight gap will result in their position being displaced on the standings.

Watching this match was very tense because Gorino played at a pretty good level, but because Bilbao didn't want to lose the game they just defended and didn't play openly. Girona also played quite dominantly because they controlled the rhythm of the game and Tsigankov managed to break into Bilbao's goal as a superior move for Girono. If you look at the opportunities to score goals, I can see that Bilbao have far more chances but because the finishing is still bad.

Williams equalized in the 67th minute making the match even more pressing for both. Girona's draw means Real Madrid is at the top of the standings with the same points, but Real Madrid is ahead with a much smaller number of goals conceded than Girona. Bilbao's defense can be said to be quite good in this match and the result of the match is in line with the expected predictions.
the match ended in a draw with a score of 1:1, as many people have said here, Atletic Bilbao was not an easy opponent for Girona. In fact, even though Girona put up fierce resistance to the visitors, Bilbao did not feel pressured. Bilbao was able to maintain its defense well so that it did not concede many goals. Girona, the first half looked boring because neither club had given an early lead. The second half started to get interesting because Girona appeared more aggressive and Viktor Tsyhankov scored his first goal for Girona, but not long after Bilbao equalized in the 67th minute and the game ended Neither team scored additional goals so they were quite satisfied with the draw.

Girona has not been able to occupy first place again because Girona has not managed to get 3 points which would put itself in first position. With this, Girona will occupy second place while waiting for Real Madrid to make a mistake in the next match, but if not then Real Madrid will continue to lead the standing.
For the second time this season, Girona drew and gave way to Madrid to lead the standings, even though they both have 35 points. Bilbao managed to hold off Girona to continue leading the standings, and as I said they helped Ancelotti's squad indirectly, it's quite interesting the competition going on in the top four at the moment.

What should be a lesson for all La Liga clubs is that it is not easy to beat Girona, and they have not lost their touch and luck so far. As a club full of surprises, Girona knows that challenging Madrid and other strong La Liga teams is not an easy task, because it requires quite high consistency and even squad depth.

However, Madrid will have the opportunity to remain at the top of the standings until next week, because their next opponent will be Granada. Meanwhile, I see that Girona opponent in the future is a bit tough, namely Valencia, this will be a test for Michel squad, as well as good luck for Barcelona and ATM to reduce the point difference.

Does Shakhtar Donetsk have a chance to get the runner-up position at the end of the match, Of course, as we know, Barcelona will face Porto. If Barcelona wins the match and takes or achieves full points, of course its position will definitely continue to the next phase. and if Shakhtar Donetsk wins the match against Antwerp of course the points will be the same as Porto, namely 9 points.

Is it possible that Shakhtar Donetsk can win the match when they host Porto in their last match? In fact, in the previous match, Shakhtar Donetsk lost 1-3 to Porto. Will this defeat happen again?

Shakhtar Donetsk still have a chances to qualified but a bit hard for them because they have to win in the next 2 remaining matches and today against Antwerp i think it shouldn't be a problem for them because i am sure they can able to win today and assume Shakhtar Donetsk will win today and Porto lose tomorrow from Barcelona which mean Shakhtar Donetsk and Porto will have equal points so Shakhtar Donetsk final position will be determined on the last match of group stage because Shakhtar Donetsk will fight against Porto on 6th match but this is hard match for them because they have to fight at Porto home ground and for Porto their chances to qualified will be more easy compared to Shakhtar Donetsk because they only required draw result to qualified
Barcelona will be determined to achieve victory over Porto, because Xavi wants to ensure his club progresses without further delay. At the same time, Shakhtar Donetsk will try to secure full points from Antwerp in front of their own supporters. Automatically, if the scenario goes like that, then it is true as you said, the determination to qualify for the round of 16 between the two clubs will occur on matchday 6.

However, it could be that this opportunity only works on paper, and Barcelona could even stumble or be forced to share points by Porto, as well as Shakhtar. So the determination to qualify for the round of 16 will continue in the final match of the group phase, I think this is also very open to happening, because we have seen that Barcelona can also lose surprisingly.

In my opinion, Xavi squad should be able to qualify easily without encountering any problems, because we know their history so far in the Champions League. But lately it seems like they are less of a favourite, that doesn't mean I underestimate them, but I see that Madrid and Bayern and Man City are highly favored by most football observers.

From the start I had sympathy for Lyon's performance which was not like the big Ligue 1 teams that I know. Let's assume there are still about 22 games left this season. With its current position at the bottom of the standings with 7 points, it can still change and get out of there if the club takes quick steps to resolve various obstacles.
It's not good if a club as big as Lyon is relegated. Fabio Grosso may not be a good choice to save Lyon's position.

It is still possible that Lyon will get another disappointing result in the next match if Fabio Grosso is still serving as coach.
If Lyon had to accept the fact that they would be relegated, I would call it a desirable condition and they made absolutely no effort to make their fans' wishes come true.

I doubt that any zone when it comes to relegation is in any way comfortable, as if any team would say it is cool to be trailing around in a zone that might send you to the next lower level of the next domestic years competition.

PSG is still this one team, but it should be noticed that winning Ligue 1 does not mean it is the same as winning Premier League.
I intended to make an expression about how dramatic Lyon's fate is this season, it doesn't mean "comfortable" here they didn't try, and this is just an inverted expression. Of course no club wants degradation, because after all that is not in everyone's dictionary.

Al Nassr opportunity is still open to win the SPL trophy at the end of the season, because we can see that there are still many matches remaining that have not been played. For Al Hilal it was a good result, and in my opinion they can drop points in the next 20 matches. The current point difference is only 4, which means that if Al Nassr continues to be consistent, they can overtake Al Hilal if they experience one defeat and one draw. Now is the time for them to try to do their best, I mean beating Al Hilal in week 15, that's the best time if Ronaldo and his colleagues realize the importance of this match. if they succeed then they will only be separated by 1 point. I will try to follow this SPL big match, to see how ambitious both of them are in the fight for 3 points.
the rest of the match is still very long and there is still a big chance for Al Nassr, but what will be a big problem later when competing against Al Hilal is if Al Nassr cannot get 3 points from the match, it looks like Al Nassr will have a little difficulty catching up to Al Hilal position.
even though I really support Ronaldo being able to help his team beat Al Hilal, Al Hilal perfect performance cannot be underestimated, while Al Nassr defense is sometimes still inconsistent and this is what makes me worried if Al Nassr can be beaten Al Hilal.

but whatever the circumstances, I still think that this will be a score sharing match, I mean the chance of a draw might be bigger because I am very sure that both teams want to fight for the SPL title so they hold each other to a draw.
That could very well happen, considering that an important match like this will be tough but stiff, because both clubs are very afraid to play openly which could result in losing points. However, we know that Al Hilal will act as hosts, on the other hand, they have not yet lost once, and are the only club that has conceded the fewest goals, 8 goals in 14 matches.

Al Nassr must be well aware of this, Mane and Ronaldo will be the club foundation and hopes. It is not an easy matter to pick points at Al Hilal home ground, the slightest mistake will happen could get messy. However, before the meeting between the two clubs takes place, both Al Hilal and Al Nassr must focus on the AFC Champions League event first.

This SPL derby match will also be a sharp contest between Ronado and Mitrovic this season. Previously, I hoped that Benzema could increase the competition to become tighter in terms of top scorer. So far Ronaldo still leads with 15 goals, followed by Mitrovic in second place with 11 goals, quite an interesting competition occurs in one match, top scorer and confirmation of title challenger.

Sebagigan hopes that Girona steps will stumble this time, but not a few are optimistic about them making the competition in the top four even tighter and more dramatic. But despite all that, who knows, Girona will secure full points easily, without facing significant resistance from Bilbao, and all possibilities are still open to happening here, we will see how the match goes in the next few hours.
I'm probably one of the optimists who wants to see a new candidate in La Liga who is able to be an entertainer amidst the competition of clubs who are used to winning trophies. I see Girona as having the potential to be a big club in the next 2-3 seasons if you look at the background of this club anyone would know. Now with the capital behind this club La Liga will become even more exciting and demand even healthier competition.
That right, if in the end Girona is able to win La Liga of course everyone will be entertained, and I think Madrid and Barcelona fans will also feel the same way. this will prove that football is not only about money and cash, and revolves around the transfer saga of star players, as if a club that is not strengthened by star players becomes a club that is limping in the hunt for the championship trophy, that is what we have seen so far.

On the other hand, we know what kind of struggle Girona has to make in this case, because Madrid, Barcelona and ATM will never be happy with their achievements. for other clubs or let say mediocre clubs, Girona steps can be used as motivation for them, in picking up point after point in every match they play. apart from that, Girona is part of the City Football Group, which houses several elite clubs in europe, so that the club future development is more guaranteed to occur.

Man United victory over Everton with a score of 3-0 in Week 13 of the Premier League was a breath of fresh air for the Red Devils. This victory reduced the criticism that had been aimed at them, and also became proof that Ten Hag was starting to find the right formula for his team. One of the things that stood out the most in the match was Onana appearance. The goalkeeper from Cameroon managed to record several important saves, I think Onana showed that he can be a worthy replacement for David de Gea.

Overall, United performance in this match deserves thumbs up. They appeared aggressive, showed a strong mentality and played solidly. This is an important asset for United to face another tough match against Galatasaray in the future in the UCL group stage, they need to prove once again that they have changed to the real path.

By the way, Onana has his fifth match since the start of the season in the EPL in which he didn't miss a single one goal. Even Ederson, Alyson and Vicario have fewer such matches, no one has that many in the EPL. That said, Onana hasn't become a top 1 goalkeeper and he will have mistakes in future games most likely. I just think Onana was criticized too much but he didn't deserve to be treated that way.
It's true that it's very possible to happen, Onana can make a mistake at any time, and no one can guarantee that it won't happen. But for now, I see that he is very integrated with United and especially with the defense, which is why he deserves to be said to be a replacement for De Gea, as I said. This needs to be proven in the match against Galatasaray later. Apart from that, to become top 1 I think it requires other support for Onana to reach that level, I mean without United wins and consistency this cannot be achieved by individual performance alone. Because his position really depends on whether the team performance, is good or not, especially the back line they.

This is not a problem because Brazil is very advanced in the world of football and they will prepare very well before that World Cup.  Brazil has no chance of being eliminated in the qualifying round. Because they are a strong enough team Neymar is a very good player and he gives enough effort for Brazil to perform well. So qualification is not a problem for Brazil.  They will need to prepare well before the next World Cup starts and try to win the cup.

Yeah, I think Brazil at the moment is having a tough mental game.

They clearly have the technical skills to be at the top, but their surprise lost at the second match might have done something to their minds.

This then affected the next games, and it spiraled down.

What Brazil needs now is a good leader, coach, captain, etc. Fixing their mental health will make them go straight to the top.

If they continue like this, without fixing their mindset, they might even not qualify for the world cup. And that would be the first time in history that happens. And yeah, that's a lot of responsibility for these boys.
That's right, the Brazilian national team still has a chance to compete in America, and I also never thought they would be eliminated in the qualifying stage. There are still many future matches that have not yet been played, there are still many months to prepare, and everything is still under control. For me everything will go well as before, I mean Neymar and his colleagues will return to their original track.

Great hopes rest on Ancelotti shoulders, even though we will never know for sure about his future at Real Madrid. However, I think he is the right person to coach Brazil, moreover, the Italian coach really understands the character of the players in the squad, many of them have worked together at club level, and even now this is the case with Vinicius, Rodrygo and Militao.

As I was predicting to see, Lille won the game and we could easily guess the result before start of the this match because Lyon almost lost all the games they had so far in this season. I still don't know what the solutions are for Lyon to get in the better form because so far they have been really disappointing and this team should even get relegated at the end of this season.
Things like this are natural because however facing Lyon now who is in pain then surely 3 points can be achieved even though it is a little complicated because Lyon's resistance in this match is also quite good but I think Lille's victory in this match is something that is quite certain so there is no need to have doubts in it.

With the current situation Lille is back to enliven the top standings but not Lyon, which even though their momentum is quite good but with the defeat in this match then indirectly they have to start over from scratch because their rhythm is still out of order.
They play well on the field but the problem is that their defense is bad which has a lot of improvement in it.

I don't have anything to say, they'll have to prove themselves on Wednesday night as they travel to face Galatasaray. Galatasaray have familiar faces who has a good knowledge of how Manchester United plays. Manchester United played well yesterday they'll have to do same against Galatasaray. At least the defenders and midfielder's did well yesterday. Now Manchester United midfielder's should just make sure they support the attackers with enough passes.

They can beat Galatasaray, who I'm not so certain they'll defeat has got to be Bayern Munich. They'll need the miracle to defeat Bayern Munich.
Galatasaray players like Icardi, Ziyech and others definitely know how to overcome Manchester United's game and even in the first round Galatasaray managed to beat them. Now Galatasaray has its turn to host and of course Manchester United's task will be even harder to beat Galatasaray. Victory in the domestic league was not achieved by the big teams and Manchester United should not be arrogant ahead of this match. They must remain alert if they really want to move on to the next round and this will be the last chance for the Red Devils squad.

If later Casemiro still can't strengthen Manchester United, I hope Kobbie Maino is at least the best solution for now. A miracle is needed against Bayern Munich and I think the German team will not be so serious in the final match against Manchester United because they will focus first on competing at the top of the domestic league standings.
That's true, the victory achieved over Everton cannot be used as a complete reference, because Everton is a fairly average team, so The Red Devils this time have to work better to make Galatasaray lose at home. I think it won't be easy, because they also want a place in group A to continue their progress to the round of 16, maybe this is where Ten Hag fate is at stake. but in reality, we should no longer underestimate Copenhagen in the future, because they have collected more points at the moment, and are in second place in the standings.

Who knows, maybe Copenhagen will follow Bayern into the round of 16, isn't that impossible. but what is clear is that Bayern don't want their perfect record to be tarnished, and I even imagine they also have the ambition to beat United at Old Trafford on matchday 6. but again, for me Galatasaray is at an advantage because they act as hosts, and The Red Devils seem to be again failed to get revenge, because I predicted this match would end in a draw.

The biggest problem in our league is the referees and the VAR system.
Referee mistakes happen in every match, okay this may happen, but isn't that why the VAR system came?
Why don't the referees go to VAR or VAR doesn't intervene in the game?
This VAR system is a very ridiculous and unnecessary system.
VAR is a backfire, it's true as you say and I agree with that. In fact, if we look at the existence of VAR, the aim is to increase the accuracy of the referee's decisions, not to cause controversy and disrupt the rhythm of the game. As far as I remember, VAR errors don't only happen here, they even happen in the most elite competitions, yes, I mean the Premier League. If I'm not mistaken, in the Tottenham versus Liverpool match, the match was full of controversy according to some people. In the end, I think VAR is like a double edged sword, which sometimes helps the referee, but at the same time can make the referee subject to insults.

It's great to see that Ajax has a streak of 4 games without losing, although this result is thanks to having played against very weak teams, which is why it's difficult to know if they've really become strong again, or whether these latest victories are thanks to the luck they had of playing against weak teams, I see that in Ajax's next game against Olympique in the Europa League game it could give us an idea of how much Ajax has improved, and it is true that Olympique when they played against Ajax in the first leg , they drew 3 - 3 and it was in a period when ajax was going through bad performances, so at this moment ajax is going through a moment of improvement while olympique is declining in its local league, but like the league in which olympique plays is more superior in terms of quality compared to the league that ajax plays in

So Ajax beat Olympiqu in a comfortable way, that would give us an idea of what to expect from Ajax this season, I don't see Ajax having any luck to move on to another stage of the European League, but it's still not impossible for them, but at least they can do it. Victories in these 2 remaining games would clean up the image of Ajax, who have so far played 4 games in this group stage and have not won a single game. It's too humiliating, especially because it's a group that doesn't have any great teams, doesn't have any great teams fighting for the title in their local league. I hope Ajax wins the remaining 2 games in the Europa League. about the Eredivisie, unfortunately, even if Ajax recovers and wins, they will not be able to be champions

and will have gone 2 consecutive times without winning the Eredivisie, at this moment Ajax is struggling to get the luck of finishing in 3rd or 4th place, because I highly doubt that Jax will be able to catch up to Feyenoord and PSV. And talking about these two teams, they both won which means they are unstoppable, that is, as long as they are winning consecutively, the clearer it will become obvious that Ajax will not have a chance to finish in the first position and in the second position. and they will have to fight against AZ and Twente to be able to overcome them and have a place in European competitions, something that is not impossible to see AZ and Twente have many defeats to the point that Ajax catches them, but I think it will be difficult
A very interesting review, and it can be understood that Ajax chances of becoming Eredivisie champions have disappeared, and even before I thought that they could no longer be saved at the bottom of the standings, but I see that they have found a turning point in their performance so they can be consistent. We never know how long this form can last, but I don't think they will go into that red zone again.

On the other hand, in the European League, Ajax should also be able to spread their luck in the remaining two matches. It is true that if they continue to lose it would be very embarrassing and this incident would tarnish the club's history. The difference in points with PSV at the top of the standings has reached 24 points, it is impossible to wait for PSV to lose in their 8 matches, and this means Ajax must change their targets to be more realistic. Like 3rd or 4th position, other than that I think it's no longer possible.
