Despite Emery's talent, I still didn't expect Aston Villa to rise so high, after all, they have fewer opportunities than City, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and even Newcastle.

The coach is good, and he is also lucky to have other good players in the team who are in form and can play the way he wants. They are fortunate to be fourth on the table right now, but it takes more effort to remain there that what it required to get there. They also have to hope that none of their key players is lost to injury which is very rampant this season. Aston Villa have Bournemouth, Manchester City and Arsenal as their next three games in the league, very serious games that will give them a chance to really show to all of the premier league that they are serious about qualifying for the champions league next season even if they cannot win the league.

The draw that Manchester City and Liverpool got yesterday made the point difference shorter, so that's what makes the title race even tighter and it's true that all clubs have a lot of opportunities to get the title this season, I don't guarantee that ETH can bring Manchester United into the hunt. EPL title this season they have a lot to improve in their playing style and main squad.

At least Manchester United can still fight for the top four in the EPL this season because getting the title is very far from their abilities which in my opinion is still not good, they are just lucky to meet a club that is not too difficult so it is easy to win, the journey is still long, don't be too happy about it. yesterday's win against Everton so when they fell they weren't too disappointed even though they were only a few points away from the top of the standings. At least improving the game should be the focus rather than chasing the title  

Manchester City have loss points on two consecutives matches before getting draw against Liverpool they have loss points from Chelsea with the draw result, loss four points make current standings position points gap most excited due until top 6th placed as Manchester United remaining 6 points behind Arsenal on the first standings position. Upcoming match potential will change the teams standings position regarding their match result with Manchester City, Aston Villa and Liverpool have possibilities move up to the first place regarding the match result of their team and Arsenal have loss points on next match.

So excited with Premier League tittle race this season because top six standings position remaining few points left, unbelievable with Aston Villa success move to top fourth standings and last winning against Tottenham Hotspur success get to Champion League spot standings, however Aston Villa not face with Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United will consistency defend three points or not.

Wolverhampton could be such fighters and they did fought pretty hard to stay in this game but blew it in the end. It was a game where we found Wolves coming back after every lead by Fulham but, with a plus minutes penalty, there is very little they could do about that and even against another good side like Fulham. 3 penalties in one game, that’s how tight and packed the game was. In the end, Fulham did manage it to 3 points with Williams scoring 2 great penalties.

It just very funny how a club like Wolverhampton wanderers that won stronger clubs like Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur struggle with a less competitive team like Fulham who isn't even in good form. This is why I love football as unpredictable things are always meant to happen.  Though the Fulham squad play with so much team spirit however they deserved the win and it seems Alex Iwobi  is doing very well at the club and is good to see him score the opener for Fulham.

Wolves was good. I have been watching all of woves games against some strong club. This club is strong, but it was only a lack of its attacker. I must say that wolves is very often in making the big club struggle to win against it.
Underrated team at this moment. People who were always watching wolves game will be understanding about the gameplay of wolves. This club is only lack of consistent. wolves just need to buy a good goal keeper and striker.
Having the great players in that positions will be enough for wolves to become a strong club that will be difficult to be beaten by its opponent.
The current attacking lines of wolves is so wasteful.

I'm not even going to applaud Arsenal for sitting at the top of the table in this game week, they have been there before and the question is can they sit there till the end of this campaign and become champions? Only time would tell.

Just a temporary happy for the Gunners when it comes to consistency, it will back to Manchester City. Not many clubs can handle in struggle position where their key players are injured, only Pep can handle this. For the other clubs it's always full of ups and downs, maybe Liverpool, but I want to see when Salah is injured.

I think Arsenal really did well when they lost Gabriel Jesus to injury last season, every game they (The Gunners) played went well and they got more goals, it did show that they're missing one of their key players. But if such happened this season I believe you won't notice it, so I don't think you should write the Gunners out on teams that can do well if their key players are off the squad.
And with Liverpool I feel they're going to do well if Mo is out due to injury, they won't miss him because this Liverpool team haven't figured out who is going to replace who, any player that joins the senior team have something new to add up to the team. For me Salah is just part of the old team of Liverpool so the younger ones will do better if he's not in the squad.

Aston Villa upgrade in the league have made them to become one of the best competitive average team, mere watching them and I've seen quite alot of things have change about the club, their style and courage from the players. Aston Villa are 4th position on the league table this season. Unai Emery have done quite a good job to bring out the fire in the Villans this season. They have thrashed competitive opponents and still counting.

I doubt, For me Arsenal is a temporary occupant of that Premier League table right now, even the chances of them moving down the table in their next Premier League games is even high and imminent. They couldn't maintain the position the last time they had that Ample opportunity to lift the trophy when they were a few matches away from the end of the season, let alone now that the league is still far from ending. The club doesn't have the energetic squad to maintain the position to the end of the season, I still believe Manchester city has high chances of being winner come the end of the season.

Unai Emery is a masterclass, he managed to bring Aston Villa to the top 4 after beating Spurs away from home last week and this is their 4th win from the last 5 matches they have played. I still can't believe that Aston Villa is now starting to be able to compete with other strong teams such as Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool in the standings and they will definitely maintain this position from being chased by their competitors. This will be a tense season for Aston Villa because they managed to throw away other teams such as Brighton or Newcastle who were previously expected to occupy the top 4 positions this season.

Their work is not finished yet because Spurs and Manchester United will also compete for that position. Let's see another miracle from Unai Emery this season with Aston Villa and I hope they still get a place in one of the European competitions, but it would be even more amazing if they could go to the champions league next season.

Yes, Unai Emery really deserves to be called a Masterclass, he is truly able to make changes wherever he is. Now Aston Villa has felt the results of Emery's performance which made Villa shoot to the top four positions. This is also the first time that Aston Villa has filled the top four in the first 13 matches of the season since December 2009, this is truly a quite proud result for the Villa Park public.

Emery is of course aware of the fierce competition in the EPL, so he doesn't feel proud. The man from Spain just needs to focus on his work in every match. If we look at their chances of finishing in the Champions League zone until the end of the season, it seems a bit difficult, but it is very possible if Aston Villa can stay in 5th place.

Certainly Unai Emery is the coach that Aston Villa needs right now and they must trust him more not only this season but in the seasons to come. It is an interesting note on how Aston Villa have maintained their consistency so far and indeed they have not felt the atmosphere of competition in the top 4 for a long time.

Now the most important thing for Aston Villa to do is how they can improve their existing performance because they will still have difficult matches against other strong teams and Unai Emery must be able to do this job in order to get better results. Whatever position Aston Villa will finish in, the most important thing is that they can still get a place in European competition, which will be very good in the future.

City was never caring about early - middle of season. City can destroy arsenal at the late game. There's no need to rush it. King city is still remain the number 1. Let them have some laughs. Arsenal fans will be once again blaming their favorite clubs if they will be getting the same result as last season. I have to say that people are always rushing to determine the winner of the league while three times EPL winner in a row is still enjoying the competition. King city is ready to destroy everything.

Currently Premier League isn't yet reach the middle season, big thing could happen e.g. Arsenal suffering lose streaks and make them relegated lol.

True, this bottle gun club never able to shoot at the right target properly. Bottle gun club will be losing EPL once again and arsenal will also make a good record to be a club that was always losing EPL after dominating EPL for five times.

Yeah they have improved a lot. Some good signings were made and they are on a good momentum right now. Actually they had good players from beginning but they were just lacking in some tactics and some areas but it seems that they are doing lot better than last season. Aston Villa can easily finish in top 5-6 if they go on like this and if they are lucky then they might be able to get into top 4 easily also.

No doubt on this that Arsenal are now topping the table and all Arsenal fans are excited and feel that they will be able to maintain the first position till the end of the season. But we should not judge with only yesterday match that made them to be able to top the league where as Man City has been sitting on the first position for quite some time now.

Arsenal don't even win with a large margin when they play with smaller teams is something they need to work on seriously, on like Man City that doesn't have mercy when they get to play against smaller clubs, the citizens do bang in more than 1 goal to show that they mean business.

For a team like Arsenal or other teams like them who can always be in the top five of the standings may not be too difficult to reach the top position, but the problem in general is as you say "survive" that is always a difficult thing to do, as we know before that Tottenham are so surprising with their change in performance this season that makes them able to reach the top of the standings but unfortunately they have to go back down because they are not strong with a lot of strong competition from several other elite teams and also in addition they are unlucky because they have to lose the consistency of their best performance.

So the point is I also won't be too surprised to see Arsenal's achievements which can now top the standings because the season is still not over and there are still a lot of things that might not happen to them. After all, Arsenal's point difference with the two teams below them, Manchester City and Liverpool, is very thin and that means the top of the standings still cannot be said to be safe for Arteta's squad. The draw achieved by Manchester City in yesterday's match against Liverpool maybe it can be said to be luck for Arsenal because with that Arsenal can finally take advantage of the opportunity to seize the top position. But all this is unfinished because Manchester City will not let Arsenal stay at the top longer. Guardiola will maximize his game to get the full three points in the next match against Tottenham.

You are right, Arsenal is not a team that has a good mentality when facing pressure. Last season's scenario cannot be completely ruled out as this season Liverpool and Manchester City have shown a great ability to make Arsenal fail. Currently, Arsenal still has a threat at the top of the standings because the points gap is not large, so there is no safe word for them and each match will become more difficult.

Tomorrow Arsenal have a match against Lens in the Champions League. Lens had beaten Arsenal in the previous meeting and of course Arsenal were also worried about dropping points in their home match. Arsenal is a strong team, but this team always fails to deal with high pressure, especially when teams like Manchester City and Liverpool always follow them from behind. The next two games in the Premier League are not difficult considering Arsenal will only face Wolves and Luton Town, but it is always possible to find them dropping points.

Basically, Aston Villa has succeeded in improving its quality and performance to be better from last season. But ya, because last season Aston Villa started from the relegation zone or started from the lower zone, and Aston Villa could only finish in 7th position last season. But this season, with Unai Emery success in improving Aston Villa's quality and performance, in fact at this moment Aston Villa has succeeded in being in the top four in the Premier League standings. Not only that, because in reality at this moment Aston Villa is only 2 points different from Arsenal, which are currently at the top of the Premier League standings. The end of the season is still a long way off as we're now facing the middle of the season and it could also be difficult for them.
This season will not be the same as last season because at the moment the competitiveness is still felt. not only about Manchester City but currently Liverpool is also making a difference by making the competition in the EPL very interesting.

Araenal mang is still a lot of gaps but I think reshuffling again and again will actually create problems for themselves. Currently Arsenal is always known as one of the wasteful clubs and if in the end they have to do another overhaul I think it will not be too good for their money situation and cash movements and it will be more worth it to maximize the current strength with some emphasis especially for mentality so that the performance of their young players can be better than today.

This season won't be exactly like last, but it will still be very long, and football is very logical, so clubs like Manchester City always have ways of gaining an advantage over other teams. We will now start listing the clubs that will perform well and finish in the top five. Of course, not all of the clubs that are performing well will start acting strangely very soon, which is to be expected. Liverpool has improved this season and they are also a good competitor for Manchester City the EPL is getting more interesting with more surprises,  and I really want Arsenal to win the premier league this season since they lost the opportunity they had last season and this is another season to make amendment for their disappointment last season. and this season saka is not in form if not arsenal would have been something else this season.

Last season they had a 100% opportunity to win but god only knows why they couldn't do it... This season it seems to me that history will quickly repeat itself...

For now we can't say Arsenal are going to be at the top of the table for long but going down that easy like you said ain't going to happen, fine we all know how crazy the Gunners are when it comes to disappointment we all know they're good at that but I assure you that this campaign would be very hard to kick Arsenal to go down the table.
Missing out that one time opportunity was something they won't want to repeat itself again, especially now that they have non-injury prone players in that squad I believe they can manage to do perfectly well.

That's just the problem they will have because if they are not consistent Manchester City will regain back there position, although considering what happened to Arsenal in there last season performance they will be very careful this season by making sure they never underestimate any club because that's were there failure last season started from.

So if they are more consistent in wining there matches I don't think they will have a problem maintaining there position on this premier league, but although irrespective of Manchester City being on the second position of the premier league table doesn't mean they cannot easily regain there position back, because if Arsenal losses one match Manchester City is back again on there first place.

Arsenal have beaten Manchester City this season, Chelsea held them to a 4-4 draw some weeks ago and now Liverpool played out a draw against them.

I think another failure to defeat a fellow big hitter will give them all the confidence that Manchester  City could drop enough points for another team to take advantage. I somehow rate Liverpool more than Arsenal to challenge Manchester city better. Liverpool are arguably the team most likely to beat Manchester City to the title. After all, they have done what has become almost impossible by getting something from the Etihad. If Manchester city continue this pattern of failing to beat their closest rivals, they might lose out on the title this season.

Everyone seems to believe Liverpool have a better chance at upsetting Man City than Arsenal and to be honest I won't blame them. When did Arteta start coaching? But Jurgen has been doing that long before Arteta thought of retiring and the rivalry between Jurgen and Pep goes back to when both of them were coaches at Bayern and Dortmund and Arteta was a student if Pep. Yeah, there's the saying that the student can be better than the teacher but I don't think Arteta can do that.
I can equally say that Arsenal may not be able to stay at the no.1 position for long now because asides from Manchester City and Liverpool, we've got other tough contenders and I dunno if they've got all it takes to repeat that feat like they did last season.

I'm completely sure about that, but Arsenal should have learned from their mistakes last season. Arteta is fully responsible for building quality and mentality in all his players this season since his failure last season, but of course that is a difficult thing to do. Liverpool has improved compared to last season, Tottenham has also improved. Hence, Arsenal will not only be fighting for the title with Manchester City as Liverpool have also joined the race.

Manchester City remain the favourites, I have voted for them in this poll thread. Not sure about the possibility of other teams including Liverpool, but Arsenal is a team that has a high desire to be in the title race this season. Nobody knows because this season is still long, but Arsenal still has the opportunity to lead the standings for longer.

Tottenham Hotspur has really been exposed this season they started off hot and many would have thought they would be a contender for the English premier league title but with their recent matches they have not leaved up to the expectations.
Aston Villa on the other hand are a strong side and they showed it today after going down from an early goal they came back to be winning, I think Aston Villa would go home with all three points.

I wasn't expecting Tottenham to win against Aston Villa even though they are playing at home, where they should have an advantage. Since Tottenham players have missed games due to injury, they have not won any of their previous games, lose two draw one. Many people has shown doubts about my prediction that Spurs would lose if care is not taken against Aston, which they lose because Villa is much better this season and has made it to the top 4. Richarlison and Maddison are unavailable, so how can Spurs win their games? Even when they played Wolves, Tottenham was leading 1:0, which wolves came equalized in 90+ still won, so I have my doubts about Spurs' performance against Aston Villa.

Tottenham was playing better from the beginning of the season, and I was thinking that their performances would lead them to win the premier league title. However, it won't be possible again. After losing to Chelsea, Spur cannot play as well as they have from the start of the season. I just hope Spur will add more players in January because these performances won't get them far in the Premier League.
