I got it...
Thank you...

-snip-

Sorry guys...
It's silly question!...
What is the meaning of solo mining?...
If i want to be in this group.. What can i do?...
Regards...
we all put funds together to rent Bitcoin mining equipment and then point the equipment at a solomining pool and if the equipment finds a block (25 btc) it is split proportionately amongst those who paid into it. The Original post on this thread is where you can find how to add your funds to the group you choose depending and the amount your willing to risk Smiley
sorry I missed the point..... Solo mining means you try to solve a block by yourself instead of mining in a group (pool) and getting paid per share, although we are a group it's nowhere near as large as the big pools running

Just wondering, why you are throwing around a referral link?
1022  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Spend $2k on mining rig or bitcoins? Still worth getting 2x antminer S7's? on: February 28, 2016, 09:46:14 PM
...

2) $/BTC will move. Flat logic would say based on supply halving, price will double over x time, with difficulty increasing and new-gen hardware it's impossible to say for sure.

...

I don't see that happening - the "supply" will not "halve", the only thing which will halve is "the rate of increase of supply" which is a quite different thing.

I have begun to hat this theory.  So many say this in beginners forum.  Luckily in other forums it is far less currently.

The having does not guarantee a problem from supply and create a big jump.  It could... .but it could not.  The thing is pretty much everyone using it including investors know about having.  So likely we will see raises (if they come) before having.

The theory we produce 1/2 so supply will go crazy... i could be wrong I just don't see it.
Everyone could dump after halving if it reaches a certain price, I am pretty sure it will happen. But then again there could be new players, who knows.

1025  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 1% fee solo mining USA/DE servers 160 blocks solved! on: February 28, 2016, 02:13:10 AM
As humans we put our faith into some things that may or may not be possible....

I Love it Grin

But there is some rental junkies going nuts since the start of the year, maybe they are trying to get in before the halving in their minds.
In the past week some rental junkies are paying 1.5x to 2x more than the standard pricing. Eating up 95% of westhash hash available. Just ridiculous.
1026  Economy / Auctions / Re: Get YOUR initials minted on the NEW 2016 Bitcoin Penny™ commemorative coin! on: February 28, 2016, 12:10:15 AM
-snip-

It doesn't for me, I doesn't say you actualy win a (or several) standard mint coin(s). The way I read it is what you win is that your initials will be minted on all standard 2016 coins, not that you will win/receive any of these coins.
Actually you are right.
I missed that, all these standard mint, special mint things were messing with me.

I think this is what you actually win. Your name minted on all two thousand coins, and a limited edition roll with the SN.
-snip-

That's right! The highest bidder in this auction will win the privilege of having his / her personal initials of choice minted on the front of at least TWO THOUSAND of our new 2016 Bitcoin Penny™ commemorative coins!

-snip-

BONUS: The winning bidder will receive one (1) FREE 2016 Bitcoin Penny™ Limited Edition Roll (40 Special Mint* "SN" Coins -- see note below) as a special THANK YOU!

-snip-
1027  Economy / Auctions / Re: Get YOUR initials minted on the NEW 2016 Bitcoin Penny™ commemorative coin! on: February 27, 2016, 11:48:51 PM
Interesting fact, there are 46656 combinations that could be added to this coin if using a standard 26 letter alphabet, 10 numerals and 3 placeholders.

1.7 million roughly if using 4 placeholders Cheesy

*NOTE: This auction is for our standard mint coin only, which comprises the majority of our 2016 Bitcoin Penny™ commemorative coins. In addition to our standard mint coin, we will also be minting an EXTREMELY LIMITED special mint coin with the initials "SN" (for Satoshi Nakamoto) below the date. We hope this RARE and SPECIAL coin variation adds a little of the classic "coin roll hunting" fun to the Bitcoin Penny™ experience. Our 2016 Short Rolls (20 coins) will each contain 19 standard mint coins (with auction winner's initials) plus one (1) special mint SN coin, while our new 2016 Classic Roll (40 coins) will each contain 38 standard mint coins (with auction winner's initials) plus two (2) special mint SN coins. In addition, we will be producing new 2016 Limited Edition Rolls which will each contain FORTY (40) of our special mint SN coins. Production of our 2016 Limited Edition Rolls will be limited to ten (10) rolls only. Once again, this auction is for our standard mint coins only, which will comprise the majority of our 2016 Bitcoin Penny™ commemorative coins.

It looks like this should answer your question
1028  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [ANN] MinerFarm - Virtual Mining Game for Real Bitcoin on: February 27, 2016, 11:29:05 PM
Is this site still running? Can anyone confirm? Thanks

The site is running, yes. You can see that if you visit the site and register or login. If your question was meant to ask if they are still paying, then yes. As of last week, I received a payment, and a payment was also received by a user yesterday, as can be seen from his Blockchain trans hash: https://blockchain.info/tx/4abb6e197b50f04a5398f8de42ef8d3d95be2ed5dd02f77c136b64d9ede59c4d
the hash code shows that the transaction fee was 0.0005. I was thinking that the owner of the site gets it that much and he pays only 0.0001 as usual . But it has not been my way. Why and  why does he need to pay that much?

As far as I know, the fee does not go to admin, it goest to the miners who are confirming this transaction. Can someone confirm?

Based on this hash here, the fees are paid to miners. Most likely for faster processing.

Ok, here is the transaction ID

The analogy I use is, this is pretty much like buying a lottery ticket. The group is like pooling together money at work and splitting a winning lotto ticket.
1030  Economy / Reputation / How to help the forum? on: February 27, 2016, 09:04:52 AM
So after looking at escrow.ms problems I landed up here in the reputation subforum. I chose to explore and see what is going on.
Looks like a hellstorm going on between highly trusted, 0 trust, obvious scammers and more. From what I understand a lot of it is over digital goods section, gun sales and scamming accusations.

TL:DR We as a community need to work together,  police ourselves and act upon a baseline for calling out scams.

Digital Goods / Scamming accusations

Create a baseline or something that we can base things off of. This needs to include input from all people. Like if methods can't be proven to a trusted person, who will not disclose the method of obtaining things to others, then they can be marked with red trust. If they are proven, then a neutral trust should be added with honest feedback.

Gun Sales

I took a look on this one, checked around the ATF for the United States. The last sale of a gun I saw was by bitmarket.io and last I recall that thread also said that they would be shipped from one contract carrier, to another. Laws also varied state by state. But for the rest of the world, check your country.

https://www.atf.gov/firearms/qa/may-nonlicensee-ship-firearm-common-or-contract-carrier
Quote
May a nonlicensee ship a firearm by common or contract carrier?

A nonlicensee may ship a firearm by a common or contract carrier to a resident of his or her or her own State or to a licensee in any State. A common or contract carrier must be used to ship a handgun. In addition, Federal law requires that the carrier be notified that the shipment contains a firearm or ammunition, prohibits common or contract carriers from requiring or causing any label to be placed on any package indicating that it contains a firearm and requires obtaining written acknowledgement of receipt.

[18 U.S.C. 922(a)(2)(A), 922(a)(5), 922(e) and (f); 27 CFR 478.30 and 478.31]

Scamming accusations

This one looks like a hot topic too.

So here's my idea,
IF the seller refuses to provide pictures, refuses escrow through a reputable member or is breaking other forum rules. Mark it, reference any communications with said user and create a scam accusation thread.

(LBC looks to be a big one)

1032  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [Solo Group Mining] Block Breakers United on: February 26, 2016, 05:18:01 PM
Is there any specific date to start the run?
I will deposit 0.05 when i have fund available in this few days. Hopefull next run will found some block
I don't have a specific date, but I might bump up to 20 entries, because 1BTC has better odds than 0.5BTC.

The first run had like 0.58BTC while this run has 0.78BTC.
The first run best share was 7B, this run was 17B.

Everyone that has entered has been added. Thank you for your continued group support.

How much time is left?
None left.

I reset the spreadsheet for new entries.

As the order is winding down, our best share was 17B

cool, hope you get one.. now i have a question, bit qounfuzed, saw BTC address for Group two already there so can we start entering already? would like to participate in next round.. please confirm, thanks

Group #2

0.5BTC per person
10 people to start

New entries can be accepted, I can run any or all groups at the same time. Like group 1 and 2 can be run at the same time.
oh just saw group two entry is 0.5BTC that's a bit too much for me.. group one can be started again when enough participants?
Each group is there to allow different increments of BTC. This means if you want to risk 0.05, make an entry for group 1. If you want to risk more, make an entry with group 2 or 3.

Group addresses are static and will not change unless for some reason, which will be mentioned in this thread. Group 1 is the 0.05BTC, group 2 is the 0.5BTC and group 3 is the 2BTC. These will not change either, unless people want different amounts like 0.25 or 1BTC.

We're going to hit 3 blocks I tell you!.

I pointed 25TH a bit ago to the solo pool sing the '1FuL4PkG4MWGEh6JzUzu25CK67LVMyPbYX_BBUG1002' worker. Looks like it's working.

WOW! We just passed that billion mark very early..... 3 blocks here we come!!!
omg.. Shocked
so we have a chance to hit block? its possible to hit 3 blocks too?? this is getting exciting for me Grin
what if hit 3 block? is it 25btc x 3block? im not good with this mining project.. good luck all people, feel great to see this post.
You always have a chance to hit a block, even with 1 th or less.
One block gives 25 BTC + the tx fees of the txs included in the block. If you hit 3 blocks, that is ~76 BTC which gives each of you around 7.6 BTC.
To get the block, your "share" needs to be over the network difficulty.

So ive got some simple bitfurys ( 2 G/s) if i run these for 24/7 i could hit a block, at what chance? proximily it will use max 20 watt p/h

You have a chance but a very, very, very, very, etc slim chance, maybe in a millennium hahaha, I had my 3 Antminer U3's running at 180Gh/s combined for 3 months and not a share was close to the Block busting one required to solve the Bitcoin block, I think the closest I ever had with them was in the higher end of the Hundreds of Millions.
It would on average be every 11,285 years you would find a block. Assuming difficulty doesn't change. That's why those miners are usually referred to lotto miners. Best I have seen on mine is a 1 billion share.

Hi guys,

a made a little PHP Script for the Lotto-Run-Statistics

feel free to test it

http://pastebin.com/GkpJm5x5

you need to edit Lines 20/39 everything else can be as it is
upload to webspace with php and here we go Smiley

Live from the German-Lotto-Run: http://cig-bitcoin.lima-city.de/test.php
pretty neat

thanks
i am still "developing" ... just getting ideas and little code optimisations.

Version 1.3.1 with CSS is now online.
http://cig-bitcoin.lima-city.de/solorun/

Source: http://pastebin.com/L10rCxDx
Thanks ammi for the script!
The script has been set up and uploaded to my website: http://zeroxal.xyz/

@ezeminer
Please give me the pool info once the mining starts, so I can update the script to work. (Its currently using 1FuL4PkG4MWGEh6JzUzu25CK67LVMyPbYX_BBUG1001 as worker at ckpool)

Cool thank you.

It will just change from BBUG1001 to BBUG1002 when we do start Mining.
The script has been updated. It will show the stats after the mining has started. (Make sure to use BBUG1002 as worker).
When will it start?
February 23rd, it should be safe enough for renting rigs by then once everyone gets down from mining a little.

Last I checked it was not updating the numbers, and the worker name is exactly 1FuL4PkG4MWGEh6JzUzu25CK67LVMyPbYX_BBUG1002
