Still no takers on the VERY RARE coin. Something must be wrong here. Maybe its your asking price jackass.
You must have not been around long enough to know that bitmarket will sit on his prices and coins for years at a time, I think his last 10BTC coin took like a year to sell, but it did sell.

Hi everyone, thanks for all the replies. Seems like there is good interest. Here's the pics, and address info. Was looking at some old emails and found the transaction for when I bought this and a few other BitBills, paid 2.4 BTC for shipping... seems like a lot now. Anyhow, I'll consider the auction format, and would definitely escrow with someone trusted like Blazed or MJ. I need to think about what price I'd like to get for this for a couple days. As you can see, there are imperfections. In fact, no 2 are alike, each being handmade. Hologram placement, the laminating process, private key slip placement, each one is definitely unique in several ways. I am the original owner, and have not handled or circulated the BitBill since I opened the package on or about June 20, 2011. It is funded, and intact. I have never opened a BitBill, but I understand that they can be redeemed. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Bitbillshttps://blockchain.info/address/12pyULyrLXBirrCBLMRuaenTZ4Rz9VrLAZI haven't posted hardly at all since I joined the forum, but I've been here reading and learning since early 2011. Quoted the images in (and shrunk them down a tad).

This coin sells for more than the 1btc loaded silver cas coins? Dam. How many of these are out in the wild, any stats on that? Either way surprised to see the price tag on this. Good luck with your sale
I'm not sure how many are out there although I've searched the forum and I can only find one other instance of someone trying to sell them. Drax sold a couple for 2.8 BTC it seems here, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1318538BTC at that time was half of what it is now. Maybe more buyers would be interested at like 1.4 BTC? Just my two cents.

Who owns that coin today?
You may have missed it, but there was a post on reddit from an owner of this coin. It was taken down, but you might still be able to find it. well its a fascinating story to me, I bought the book from Elias Ahenon ( great guy) back in the summer and after reading it I am totally hooked. oh he said he has some hard copies with slightly damaged corner in the San Fran warehouse for very low price. I was curious if anyone remembers what the last sale price was of one of the original 5 1,000 BTC . Also what should one fetch today, like my dad always said its worth what someone will pay for it lol The link above showed a set of 20 series two 1,000 BTC which i think some were confusing for the original Last one's were rumored to have sold for around a million. in today's market I would not be surprised if it gets a couple hundred thousand for a premium on top of the price of BTC and gold.

If you have a price that is around the offers you've received and that's a price your happy with then there's no harm at running an auction and starting the auction at that price. You may only get a couple of bids but at least the bids will be in the range you're happy with. Worst case scenario is that it doesn't sell and you get to keep that precious coin. In essence there's no risk at all if you do that Good luck with the sale! I think he means shipping wise. Just send tracked via DHL or something I believe.

I would recommend going with a lealana like wheelz said. They were mass produced and won't have too much of an affect on the after market. Comes with generated key and holo already attached.

Newegg accepts Bitcoins, thats probably the safest way to go.
Thats what I was about to suggest actually. And they have a ton of HP products so you would not have any troubles finding the right laptop for you there. Or unless you wanted a customized one then you would have to go to HP's site directly for that then. As someone said purse.io is good if looking on amazon. There is gyft.com that you can try to get bitcoin to gift cards..

I know its not an auction, But I can offer 3 coins for the pair.
Looking to sell them So not interested in trading them for other coins, thanks for the offer though. You're likely to get 1.7-1.8 in this market I believe. Some ms-69s have gone for 1.75-1.9 recently, but don't hold me to that.

0.02 BTC This may have been brought up before, but is the Salvation Army savy enough to know what they are getting? Wondering this as well Unless they natively accept bitcoins, I feel like you'd be better off turning this into cash. But the gesture is a nice one.

Awesome! Thanks for the replies.
To my knowledge it's never been touched. It's in a plastic case and always has been. I've taken it apart just to look at it but never touched it. The case probably has some scratches from floating around my safe though.
How does one go about getting something graded? I may be interested in doing that.
ANACs is the only one that grades Cryptocurrency AFAIK. http://www.anacs.com/contentPages/SubmissionForm.aspxThey're located here in Colorado.
