10261  Economy / Speculation / Re: I believe BTC is going to trend down to $5,000 whats your thoughts on: April 01, 2018, 01:07:23 PM
Yes. Its going down. More than 5k. We are gonna hit 1-2k. Get your money into fiat asap. Even professional traders are recommending this.

Make sure you do understand all of the price manipulation going on. There are many upper hands involved right now. The market needs to basically bottom to near $0 and reset with proper rules and regulations.

I don't think that we are going to hit $1-$2K. Yes, we can get our coins to fiat and then what? Those professional traders that are recommending are those who wants to bottom so that they can get it a a discount. I mean if its $2K, do you think it can still bottom? There are a buy support levels at $4K-$5K so I can't see that it will go that low.

If you have listen to those so called professional traders than I'm sorry that they are all having a good chuckle because they have played you very well in believing that bitcoin can go that deep.
10262  Economy / Marketplace / Re: First Hand -New Governor of People Bank's of China Attitude to Bitcoin on: April 01, 2018, 11:56:54 AM
Interesting information. Nice to know. It may be worth mentioning that as the united states cuts corporate tax rates, which could have a side effect of opening it up to broader investment in the business sector... Investments pouring into china could dry up as the USA becomes a more attractive option. It is possible that china's recent "crackdowns" on exchanges and crypto could be part of a widescale attempt to limit the degree to which investments in china's business and economy migrate out of the country.

It is nice to know that china's new head banker might have a sentimental attachment to crypto and subscribe to a bitcoin stance. But over the long term china's economic and financial policies may be more pragmatic and revolve more around necessity than adopting bitcoin and deregulating it in order to help it grow.

 Smiley

Your analysis is surely insightful. There are several approaches taking by US and China governments. For example, the US launched several anti-dumping investigations against Chinese companies. Also, after I had the interviews with some influential Chinese Crypto related players, I do think the gov. in China is not really banning the ICO or crypto. But wants to attract the money from overseas similar to your conclusion.

The channel will provide the most updated news from China. Even quicker than coindesk. https://t.me/oneminute_crypto_news

Thanks for the nfo. I never known that there is a new PBoC government. Question, how do you know that he is friendly to crypto? As we have seen his predecessor is very hostile bitcoin? And I'm sure that he can't do anything unless the Chinese government really chance their hard stance against crypto. We have seen what they have done last September and I don't think that he can 'reverse' it so to speak. I really hope though that this new government could somewhat put a stop on the FUD onslaught coming from China which is putting pressure to the very volatile market as of now.
10263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: April 01, 2018, 08:03:09 AM
Cavs can still win, the playoffs experience will give them the advantage, now that Thompson and Love are playing plus they have
great addition, I think they are better this season compared to last season although they only did will when playoffs is nearing.

Are you sure of that?maybe they have experience in play off but the way i see it its totally different. They are struggling to win this last games.if Lebron can make mistake or even choking in the first half then they got into trouble.

Maybe it will be a blessing in disguise if they fall to 4th place because their first round opponent will be the 5th seed so that will be an easy task for them. Don't mentioned Lebron choking, that's one of his weaknesses and that is why many hate him for being a choker. hahahha. But let us see, fun to watch him still play high level of basketball at his age and do hope that the Cavalier will improved with Love and Tristan back in the line up.
10264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The sky is falling, what is everyone doing... on: April 01, 2018, 07:39:55 AM
I will not get out of this forum if the sky falls, and I will do it at a time like this, so we will get more profit. I'm sure the price will rise higher than now.

Do you mean not get out of crypto? Or this forum is the source of your income? Sorry to tell you but you need to change your mindset regarding this forum.

Of course, we can all just chill and relax even the crypto market is falling because come to think of it, do you honestly believed that we can be at this bearish market up to the end of the year? If you are going to bail out today, then sorry its your lost my friend. Patience is the key and sooner we will see crypto bouncing back and maybe you will regret your decisions to exit and not be a believer.
10265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs Ortiz on: April 01, 2018, 07:07:28 AM
Ok it looks like everything has been set. AJ just won against Anthony Parker via UD (118-110, 118-110, and 119-109) and has added the WBO belt as well. He is not the unified HW champs with all the abc belts (WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO).

Its now time to see who's the top dawg on HW. AJ vs Deontay (who holds the WBC belt) should happened.
10266  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is the most "feared investment" on: April 01, 2018, 06:05:32 AM
In 2013 to 2014, Bitcoin crashed from $1000 to $200

From 2016 to March 2018 Bitcoin was:

$1,000 to $20,000

$20,000 to $6,500

$6500 to to $12,000

$12,000 to $7,500   Grin

Bitcoin is the most "feared investment" after going up from $1 to $10,000 in 9 years and big names saying bad things for Bitcoin and cryptos

I don't think that the correct term is "feared". Maybe "risk" is applicable as we all know how volatile this market are and in a blink of an eye, your investments will go into thin air. But in life you have to take risk in order to see where you can go. So in the price swings you have put up, you will see that its either you win big or go home.

bitcoin is not a feared investment, I prefer to call it the best investment that requires intelligence. if bitcoins are feared because their prices are often up and down, it can also happen to other types of investments. those who are afraid of bitcoin investments are those who do not yet believe in the bitcoin itself. if you don't want to end tragically in bitcoin. you must learn to be patient and keep learning the bitcoin instead of fantasizing that you can get rich in a rough time with bitcoin

Yes, we may call it as best investment as well, I don't agree with "it requires intelligence" though. More of a timing because this is a speculative market, and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand when to get in and when to exit. Just saying.
10267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: March 31, 2018, 11:59:20 PM
Good thing the Los Angeles Clippers got rid of Blake Griffin when they did. Cause he got injured just yesterday.
https://www.theringer.com/nba/2018/3/30/17181184/detroit-pistons-playoff-picture-disappoint
They saved themselves in paying him out for the rest of this years salary(cause they paid him $5 million just for sitting on the bench since the beginning of the season anyways Embarrassed ), so they let the Pistons take that on instead.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidberri/2018/02/01/blake-griffin-was-traded-with-just-weeks-to-spare/

Oh well, I think they didn't saw that Blake with be injured that's why they traded him. The decision boils down the the team needed some changes that's why they have to let go of their 2 top players. (CP3 and Blake).

In the end, its just business and nothing personal, but yeah maybe they got lucky of offloading him at the right moment and that's too bad that he got injured and hope that he can recover soon.

Really interesting in the West though. We still don't know we will in the playoffs specially in the 4th-8th spot.
10268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH also a bubble like bitcoin? on: March 31, 2018, 11:38:25 PM
ETH prices continue to fall below 400. Is this really necessary for ETH to really explode in 2018. Or is this just a bubble?

If we are going to based on the how the price really surge, I don't think its a bubble because unlike bitcoin, ETH has technology that is can offer - Smart Contracts. So I think investors are putting money because they are betting that it will be used by every industries, not just in the IT sector.

However, we have to take note that there's some correlation as far as bitcoin and Ethereum price. That's why wen't bitcoin falls, it brought with him the whole crypto ecosystem, including Ethereum. And looking at Ethereum history charts, its just around mid 2017 up to January 2018 that it really took off, because the dev is really doing something at the background like improving its scalability problems (Yes, Ethereum as also this issue.)
10269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC change of trend? on: March 31, 2018, 11:18:47 PM
It seems the trend is really changing. Yesterday's decline is the last waves before strong growth. I think
the price of BTC will start to grow  in the next 2 weeks  and will return to $ 12,000.

I don't see bitcoin breaking the 5 digits barriers anytime soon. We have dip as low as $6600-$6800 depending on what exchanges you are looking. Right now we are fluctuating around $6900-$7100 so I don't see enough support to be able to sustain in the next couple of weeks to even get to $10K, much less $12K.

However, if everything fits perfectly, we may see some rally up to $9K and then see how it goes from there. Just like I said on previous thread, we need fresh blood to pump the price, but its not coming because they are reluctant and most of them are just doing day trading, that's why we will see a pump and then dump in the next hours or so. Would be happy to see the price goes to $9K though in the next coming months and hope its gonna be sustainable.
10270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good News on: March 31, 2018, 11:00:07 PM
They try to gain advantage for this downtrend , I just keep hold it anyway.

As we know that G-20 said that they need more evidence in order to regulate bitcoin so for now , bitcoin isn't too bad , right ?

G20 summit has already do their thing. About 2 weeks ago, bitcoin was suddenly pumped from $7500 to $8400 due to the good news coming from G20 and I think we enjoy like 3 days of a rally culminating to $9K before the correction that was followed by panic and now we are hovering on the $7K price.

And for the downtrend, I guess we have no choice but to really hodl and hope that this crisis will be over this coming April and we may see some changes are far as the sentiments of the investors. So let's see how April will turn out and expect some reversal in their a news that will come along the way.
10271  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are Bitcoin mixing sevices safe? on: March 31, 2018, 10:40:11 PM
Bitcoin Mixers are 3rd party services and as every satellite service they have potentially many points of failure:

- who can guarantee that mixer itself is not created by law enforcement agency?
- mixers won't tell you but they keep logs with every mixed transaction
- mixers are anonymous, exit scam is always a possibility

But to be perfectly frank I didn't hear about any case of failed mixing or scam done by well known and old mixer service so far, like Bitmixer.io

As far as I know, Bitmixer.io closes its tumbling services due to heavy government pressure. We don't know if they kept logs of their customers or users, but it they did they authorities can track where the coins came from and possibly can isolated if this coins is tainted or not.

So since their demise, mixing services doesn't keep logs anymore, well that's according to them because that's the downfall of bitmixer. Haven't heard of any mixing services that has run off with the money or scam people here. And the members are really very attentive and questions are raised specially if their is a new mixing services in town, specially having funds to cover and with escrows (at least 20 bitcoin, if my memory serves me right.)
10272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse racing game on: March 31, 2018, 10:19:33 PM
Gambling in horse races are still popular in my country. Bets are not online though and are sold inside arenas. Online betting is still prohibited in my country.
Horse races are popular everywhere in the world and where there is horse racing there will be gambling. According to my analysis in my country it is the hobby of elite class. Only they can afford this expensive game, also they bet very high amounts on these races. The bets here are in millions which I can't even think about to participate in.
These races are live broadcast on the television and the winners are paid high prizes. Gambling here is illegal so they deal it under the table. Honestly I have no idea about any online betting on them in my country.

Yes, however, as you have said its gambling, so for me its not only the elite that can play this game, but even casuals like us can bet and can win huge bucks. The only advantage is that the rich one will definitely win large amount because of their capital, while the casual depends on their analysis of the horse, and the jockeys. Horse racing is one the earliest gambling that I can because my father is a avid fan of it.

Up to know I still played, although in the last year or so I do bet as much because I don't have the time anymore. But it is still popular specially in December where there are a lot of special races and if you got lucky you will win thousands or even millions of dollars.
10273  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you feel the rise of BTC anytime soon? on: March 31, 2018, 10:00:18 PM
The price of the bitcoin is still decreasing this year the price decrease more than 70 percent price of the bitcoin last year of december. I believe the price will increase again all we need is to wait  becausw if we sell our bitcoin the price will decrease more unless all us we hold bitcoin . If that happen the price will increase again and we will earn a lot of profit.
No other option is as useful as holding of bitcoin under these stressful market conditions. Holding is creating a win-win situations for years for the supporters of bitcoin. They don’t lose anything when they keep their bitcoin hidden in wallets but get more than their expectations when they sell them off at high rates. Prices are bound to increase by the end of the year and this is why veterans are not getting rid of it.
That's maybe not the case, some people who used to feel that hold is a win win situation have been now satisfied enough with the price rise that they now are willing to dump it, and I am talking about the big holders here.

For bitcoin to go further up you need more and serious money into it, that I don't see coming by this year end. Though it always happens that price takes dip in may and then rises again in a few months, let's see if 2018, the same cycle is repeated.

I mean we need some fresh blood to put the market with more money but as of the moment, there is none because those who have pumped it in December got murdered early in January-February and now they are out of ammunition so I don't expect them to see going back to the ecosystem anytime soon.

I guess we really need some good news to come that will reverse the bearish sentiments and investors doing short trading. Let's say I'm still optimistic that it will come because I believed that this bearish trend cannot continue for the next 3 months, somewhere a long the way there will be something that will turn around this crisis.
10274  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ten years later on: March 31, 2018, 09:45:31 PM
The old question is still very interesting
Currently I am holding some BTC
For months I have forgotten it and focused on my work, my life
Five years later, we see that BTC can be up to $ 1 million or it could be zero
Since the money invested it does not affect my life so I advise people to invest with idle money Smiley
Good luck!

That's why invest what you can afford to lose so if bitcoin will be worthless you'll not be a crying child however we can still prevent losing all our investment if we manage it well and investing in real time venture. Money is still money and if it's gone whatever it costs it still hurts us especially our pockets. Grin

Yes, I would agree that you should only invest what you can afford in this market. However, we need to understand that this market is still its infancy, meaning there will be new faces joining everyday in thinking that they can get huge amount of money out of it.

Look at just how December last year turns out to be, lots of newbies joining the hype train and even buying at top price, they are irrational and invest more than they can afford to lose. Sadly though when the market plummeted everyone gets out as quick as they come it and they burned a lot of money in the process.
10275  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is the CME GROUP BTC Trading Launch, push the BTC price down the last month ? on: March 30, 2018, 09:00:49 PM
I wouldn't say that they are the main reason for the price to sink a bit. But it may have contribution to the hype surrounding bitcoin specially in December. But if you are here in December you will notice that after both CME and CBoE enters, there's a lot of irrational buyers that went with the hype.

However, I also notice that after they offer bitcoin future contracts, the price became somewhat stalled for quite some time, before the eventually crash that we are witnessing. So Yes, for me they are a contributory factors to the dip that we are seeing today.
10276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you follow trading advice from crypto influencers? on: March 30, 2018, 08:43:51 PM
If you are talking about the like of John McAfee as influencer because of his coin of the day then NO. What I do is just really read what's most of the analyst are saying and draw my own conclusion.

The problem is that most of us doesn't know that much about crypto trading and they indeed listen to influencers like they should invest in this or that, but at the end, if they lost their investment then there's no one to blame but yourself. Just gather information and try to filter out and see what you think is the best for me.
10277  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think will happen next? on: March 30, 2018, 08:24:25 PM
Of course just like others's opinion here, I'm still very bullish about bitcoin and the graph shows that sooner or later it will bounce back and can even hit another all-time-high.  Although it continues to slide and their is pressure amongst investors to sell this coins, I will rather just hold and see how it goes at the end of the year.

There is no way that the bears will remain on top, it will be a continues battle and I'm sure that the bull will somewhat regain the sentiments of the investors and we will see reversal after reversal before the end of 2018.
10278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Pacquiao vs Matthysse on: March 30, 2018, 07:52:48 PM
The fighting Senator of the Philippines Manny Pacquiao announced that he is fighting this coming June 24 at Malaysia. The possible opponent is Lucas Matthysse the current WBA light welterweight champion.

For those of you who is not familiar with Lucas Matthysse below is his Boxing Record

Total fights - 44
Wins - 39
Wins by KO - 36
Losses - 4
No contests - 1

What we know so far is Freddie Roach has not committed himself yet to train Manny for this fight. Bob Arum is the the promoter for this fight, it will be De la Joya's Golden Boy Promotions and Manny's MP Promotion.

Earlier it known that Manny was asked to be an under card for Jeff Horns fight but Manny rejected the offer. There were also rumors that Manny can't fight in the US like in Las Vegas because he has issues with the IRS "again".
Will, if we talking about experience and power and speed i  rather choose pacquiao in this fight, because all of us here already know that he is the former 8 division  champion i the whole world compared to his opponent Lucas Matthysse a young opponent hunger to become  a champion and proving his own record that he have a right to become  a champion.maybe pacquiao now is to old compare to mathysse in terms of age but the hunger of winning back  again is still there and the power, speed is still there, because he want to regain back  his tittle.

Lucas is not that young anymore, although you are correct that Manny is much older that him. He last lost to Victor Postol via KO (although he seems didn't want to get up, but later he said that he injured is eye). But he then strung up 2 successive wins leading to this fight. However, I also think that Manny has still the power to outlast Lucas and I'm sure that Manny will win this and maybe retire after this fight.
10279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crawford Vs Horn on: March 29, 2018, 11:55:27 PM
So no more Jeff Horn and Manny Pacquiao rematch? that's sad maybe they didn't agree with both parties condition and shares.

The fight will still push through on June 9 of this year,
And now if this is now for good then these two will definitely going to give a clash. As your choice with Crawford OP, I say that don't underestimate Horn.

Yes, I know that everything can happen, but Crawford is a different animal, and will be Horn's toughest opponent and remember it will be held in USA, most of Horn's win is in home turf.

Just watched how Crawford destroys Viktor Postol, the supposed to be threat to his crown but instead played and toyed with the guy thus unifying the junior welterweight belt.

I reckoned that Crawford can get a kd here. Let's see how the fight goes and they have time to really promote the fight and put some hype around it.
I know that Crawford plays well or I'm just imagining that he's playing with his home town, well that really makes an advantage. So yeah we'll see if there's a big difference between his fights within his home town and also from off shore.

Match will be in Vegas, Big bucks is coming.

For me his performance is just the same whether it is in hometown or not. He's a great boxer and giving Horn his first lost will be another jump of him being one of the bankable stars as Floyd and Manny is already thinking of retiring.

He can really be the new face of boxing. And yeah big bucks is coming baby!!!. Boxing is business now so that managers is carefully matching their boxers to milk them as much as they can, so to speak. (saying how Bob Arum milks Pacquiao is an understatement).
10280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Pacquiao vs Matthysse on: March 29, 2018, 11:26:56 PM
I still go for Manny. I believe it is not the size of the opponent that counts/matters but the experience, the tactics, the moves and the fighting spirit. I believe money pacquiao have it all. It is just my opinion but i still do respect other’s. Goodluck to both.
If the fight goes to the distance I am 80% positive that Manny will win the fight. Matthysse  should aim for a knockout to seal his victory with no doubts coming from sports analyst and fans. Just like what happened when Marquez fought Manny for the 3rd time and he win, he retired and go back to his country ending the Marquez-Pacquiano trilogy.

Marquez is on steroids during the third fight. He is full of Clen form Mexican meat. hahahha

I totally agree with your analyst that as the fight takes longer, 6 rounds plus, I think Manny would have a great chance to win because Lucas is not that type of fighter who has a lot of gas. He can easily tire in later rounds, while Manny even though is older, has a lot of stamina and can even have a second wind if the fight takes longer.
