10361  Economy / Economics / Re: Positive thinking brings positive things. on: March 03, 2018, 01:51:03 AM
Forums are being filled with speculation, almost all topics that appear lead to falling bitcoin prices, whether this will continue, this is the right time to buy, blah blah blah. Come on, the storm must pass, let us focus on the positive topics instead of continuing to discuss this 50% decline. Start talking about the positive news from Singapore deputy, bitcoin that has gone up 20% today and others. Think positive and positive things will come.
Our life full of something negativity but when go through the thinking and your mindset is being positive you will never gets frustrated and being positive turn into good thing happens to Us .Be more positive like when you are waiting to increase the value of bitcoin just be patience and soon it will happen .

Positivity is what we need this time. With so much chaos, economic issues and financial problems we have to be positive at all times in order for us to move on. On the other hand in bitcoin we need a positive thinking for us to have a positive financials. I am positive as well that bitcoin will increase For me to be rich.

Positivity is not only applicable to the cryptosphere but it should be able as part of our lives. Most of the time I wake up and thinking that I should be positive so that I can accomplished everything I want throughout the day.

As for this market, optimism is one aspects that we always need specially when the their is a crypto bloodbath. We should always think positive that we can get over with all of this dumping and selling that going around. And think that sooner will be see some light at the end and everything will bounce back to its previous state or even more.

~snip~
And that is not James fault either. OK for sake of argument that can't make the playoffs this season, but I'm sure James will be back again more focus and the team already adjusted to one another.
He's body is only one and even there are fans that's considering him a one man team still there are too many teams that upgraded their roster and their performance are undeniable. But isn't it too early to say that they can't make it to the playoffs? They are on #3 in the rankings while their rival Golden State Warriors is on #2 so it's not that far.

That's why I said for the "sake of argument that if they can't make it to the playoffs". I did not specially say they will not make it to the playoff this season. Its two different thing.

Bu in any case, if they did make it to the playoffs someone really needs to step up the and help him out. Its a team game and he needs his new team mates to do their part as well.
10363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 222: Cyborg vs Kunitskaya Prediction and Info Thread on: March 02, 2018, 11:50:47 PM
-Nothing personal but I hope Frankie Edgar loses. :/ He keeps talking about Conor like he thinks he's going to easily take Conor down and lie on him for 5 rounds to win a decision. Its annoying.
This is the exact reason Conor McGregor is avoiding Frankie Edgar for a very long time because of his wrestling skills and accolades and he is a black belt in BJJ and no one has ever stopped Frankie Edgar in his career and that cannot be said about Conor as he was stopped three times till now in MMA and one time in boxing and he is the only fighter who never defended any of his belts in his entire career Cheesy  Tongue .
I am going with Frankie Edgar to win the fight ,i do understand the high level ground skills of Ortega and he is a future champion but the Frankie i know could defend anything Ortega can bring to the table mainly because of the slow start of Ortega and it is hard to stop Frankie like the rest of the opponents he faced.

I'm also leaning towards Frankie here. I admit that I'm a big fan so I might be biased here. And even if he losses this fight, he still has more years. He's not getting the accolades that he deserves and his fight is very exciting, but he seldom fight and Ortega is just a replacement because he's supposed to fight Holloway. He opted not to wait for Holloway but instead fights Ortega instead.
10364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: March 02, 2018, 11:20:54 PM
Cavs are in danger against 76ers.

28 seconds left and the score is 95-103 and of course in favor of Philadelphia. Sorry Cavs fanatics, we lost.

I just turned on the game and Elbid is getting mad at the end cause one of the Cavs player threw the ball at the back of that trouble maker on the 76ers I never seen that guy before but he looks like he got knocked in his head with the ball one too many times.
Bad to see Lebron and company losing on winning streak they have had in the past week. Even without JR Smith in this game cause of doing something during practice that pissed off the other team mates or coach.
Nobody knew what that was about but he was not on the court tonight and the announcers mentioned something about that before the second half started.

The cavaliers loss in the game and of course the cavaliers backers, they are starting to fall again which I'm afraid will cause another
problem if this will not be sorted out early. Lebron got 30 in the game but the Sixers are just too good enough tonight that they have a balance scoring.
No question about the sixers they've got a complete line up where the players really involved to their respected positions, the cavs might need to blend
more and I still believe that lebron still dedicated, the road to playoff still undefined for each respective teams from east to west, lets hope to see those
well deserved team to compete for this years title.

I don't know mate. I'm been hearing a lot saying that Cavaliers need so blend more. For me, too much expectations has been put on the new rosters and they are still trying to figure it out and its not be very easy for them. We also need to consider that Love is not on the floor, putting the burden on James to produce more while the new players are still figuring everything from defense to offense. Its just 1 and 1/2 months before the regular seasons end, and I don't think they will come on top of the East, but I'm sure that they will be in the playoffs. Let's see when Kevin Love comes back to the line-up at the end of the month, he's the number 2 scoring options so he will be truly missed.

Funny to think though that players that were booted out from the cavs' roster are playing pretty good in their respective teams. Kyrie has been phenomenal in boston. Isaiah thomas probably found his role as thr leader of a young lakers squad, dwyane wade seems to be showing the old flash. I don't know but that says a lot about the cavs organization.

yes, you're right, all those who have left are playing very well and are showing all their value! this shows that in addition to having strong players it is necessary that the team is close and each one helps the other. Cleveland does not have the time to become a real team this season.

I think that 90% of those booted out not just in Cavaliers but throughout the NBA years that really brought the good on each and every player, just to be fair with the Cavaliers. And that is not James fault either. OK for sake of argument that can't make the playoffs this season, but I'm sure James will be back again more focus and the team already adjusted to one another.
10365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Journey on: March 02, 2018, 11:03:57 PM
So it only proves that bitcoin can still gain based on its historical data. However I do believed that this year will be different. Yes, a new all-time-high can be touched, but I don't think that we are going to see the same peaked that we have went like the December madness. With all the regulations around, a growth of x4 will be suffice and double what's the previous all-time-highs.
10366  Economy / Economics / Re: There's a new economy growing on this forum - Merit on: March 01, 2018, 11:53:42 PM
Merit is a system that prevents undervalued posts and spammers. Through this merit, more posts will be valuable and interesting that anyone can get any idea. Merit also can be used also to prevent those cheaters and multi account on doing shit posts just to promote their rank in an easy way.

Yes that's why it was put in the first place. To prevent shitposters from taking advantage of this forum. Many have been caught already. But there are still who got merits for shitposting and I'm sure that the global mods are having their hands full banning and negging those who are taking advantage of this new system.

Those multi accounts cannot sustained this merit system because I'm sure that they will be reported and all their multi account will be banned and they can't just created new accounts because they will be having a hard time ranking it up.
10367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taiwanese Central Bank Sees Future In Blockchain For Payment Systems on: March 01, 2018, 11:22:59 PM

At the end of January, Taiwanese capital Taipei had announced that they intended to turn into a ”smart city,” utilizing Blockchain for providing technological advances like pollution sensors and health history tracking to citizens by partnering with IOTA.

This sounds like very good news for IOTA, and good news for Taiwan as well, if they get to do things like pollution tracking more efficiently than they do now.
It has been seen that Asia will become the world's largest crypto market, China Korea and Taiwan will become the future crypto trading center.
This will appeal to other Asian countries, such as Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries.
One more step Asia will be the center of a new civilization.

Please, removed China in the equation. They will not be the crypto market that we have initially thought it was since they suddenly turns its back against it since last year.

For Taiwan though, its very welcoming and this is just another moved to pissed off the Mainland. Well, blockchain is really the future, what ironic though is that bankers are bashing bitcoin while enjoying the technology behind that powers it.
10368  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price analysis from 2015 to 2018: What will happen in the next months? on: March 01, 2018, 10:58:18 PM
Interesting reasoning... I think that Bitcoin can not express all its potential as an asset. it should return a currency.
My thoughts as well, it should have never have been a store of value but the market decided that is what it wanted last year. With the beginning days of LN we will get back to being a currency soon, although that transition may still take a year or so.

I agree. It should goes to its original root which is to be used as micro payment schemes. But with the increasing fee and slow tx, it has now become as SoV (Store of Value), specially when financial institutions and big entities from behind enter the picture and change the whole landscape. But the question is, can it go back and become a currency? What would it make us see it that way and not just as pure investment scheme?
10369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: March 01, 2018, 10:19:52 PM
Yes, the Mavs vs OKC was one of thrilling game. I thought Mavs can upset and take the win, however,  Dwight Powell hit it on time to force a overtime. And then Russ got the job done.

On a side note: Dirk hits 31,000, what an amazing accomplishment.

10370  Economy / Economics / Re: UK Bank HSBC Might Soon Pilot Live Blockchain Payments on: February 28, 2018, 11:26:40 PM
I don't see it as surprising. The blockchain system will be used by many. I am sure that all governments and banks will use blockchain in the future. But this does not bring us closer to the recognition of bitcoin. To be honest I was not interested in this problem. I became a supporter of bitcoin because I do not trust banks and governments. I like this situation now. I don't need gifts from the government or bankers.

Of course it's not surprising because the first recipient or the first one that takes advantage of this technology is the banks themselves. That's why its ironic that they are attacking bitcoin but they love the technology behind it.

This is where we are heading now, many big companies will step in into this kind of technology in order for them to survive and able to compete to others specially within the banking system. Blockchain technology is an innovation that everyone will use for their own benefits, and by this cryptocurrency will grow higher.

Yah its a technology that is not just adaptable to banks, but the whole industry as well. And you have to think that there have been talks of a Blockchain 2.0 already but we still haven't harness the full capability of it.
10371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: February 28, 2018, 10:37:00 PM
Lebron James continues to set new records!
He is the only player in the NBA history, having made at least 30,000 points 8000 assists and 8000 rebounds!
he can easily make 40,000 points, 10,000 assists and 10,000 rebounds

Damn what a feat by the King. We don't know how long can he get further in his career. But the 40K points will be the ultimate point of his career if he was able to break Wilt's all time record. The Big O's records seems untouchables for many many years until Russ did it last year. It will take more years to break Wilt's record though, but let us see he still not showing signs of slowing down so we might see it toppling that record before he retires.
10372  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is this website ? on: February 25, 2018, 11:59:33 PM
A friend sent me this, but he didnt tell me what website was this ?

Do any of you know this website ? Seems like a scam or something idk

https://prnt.sc/ijpc39

Best regards

Lol. A brand new account? I wouldn't check that website that's for sure.

Why don't you do your own research and see if that is a scam site or not? Or better just post the name of the website here and we can dig further about it.

But if you are not sure then don't invest anything on it because there are literally thousands of scammers out there and crypto or bitcoin are not a way to get rich very quick, remember that.
10373  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-24] Elon Musk Reveals Personal Crypto Holdings on: February 25, 2018, 11:14:27 PM
It is very hard to believe that mr. Elon Musk owns only 0,25 BTC and zero amount of any other cryptocurrency. Maybe his statements about savings in crypto are getting near the truth, but Elon like Jack Ma, definitely launched internal blockchain division of the company. Because as a smart businessman, he just cannot neglect blockchain technology, and the full extent of the benefits that this can offer.

Why it is so hard to believed? Or do you rather believed others boasting how much bitcoin they have in their wallet but turns out is not true?

I think its simply he's not into it that's why he doesn't have that much investment but it doesn't mean his against bitcoin or crypto as a whole. He may be very well looking at blockchain and how to take advantage of this technology for all we know. And I really like how he operates in the background.  Less talk, less mistake. Not like those hotshot Wall Street guys who bitch around on everything they are against at.
10374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: February 25, 2018, 10:49:15 PM
Jimmy Butler is out with a knee injury against Harden and his fellow Rockets.
Timerwolves are going to suffer even more without their star player on offense and who knows for how long. Undecided

Houston has won 11 straight games? Shocked
Unreal stats so they are the team to beat for the remaining games left in the season.

I say they have the momentum going on the last remaining games of the regular season. But when playoff comes, all teams are even. Just sad to see Jimmy Butler suffer a injury close to the playoffs and I hope that he can still play. But I'm sure it will have a big impact on the team because we all know that he is one of the offensive player. T'wolves will need to step up the plate if Jimmy will be out for the rest of the season.
Oh he will it is just a meniscus tear and the time table given to him says that he can play in as early as 4 weeks. The injury would have derail the Timberwolves growth  in terms of polishing up their game but the important thing here is nothing serious had happened to Jimmy Butler. I just hope that the Timberwolves will hold up the games without him. Andrew Wiggins better step up his game and proved haters wrong about him being a boring player. It is just too much hate going home for him, having a few good games will shut them up.

Correct, I read that he suffered a meniscus tear and he needs at least 4 weeks to recover from it. But I think that's long enough to stop their momentum right now. The team has been enjoying their best season yet, but Jimmy's injury will have a big impact on them specially that the playoffs is just around the corner.

Andrew Wiggins for sure will again take the lead but I just hope that it is enough to carry Wolves on his shoulder. Others should step up as well and waited it out till Jimmy's return on the line up.
10375  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your Bitcoin "Normal" price??? on: February 25, 2018, 10:18:48 PM
For me, if bitcoin somewhat reaches $10K, then I'm absolutely OK with that and I find it the normal or the true value of bitcoin in my opinion.

I don't like bitcoin being pushes to a certain levels and then crashes again because it bubbled. I would rather see the price moving in a normal and not so being pump like what we have seen last December.
10376  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin down to 1900 USD ??? on: February 25, 2018, 08:13:09 PM
Forecast Bitcoin possible hit buttom target 1900 USD on this year - How do you think Huh

Lol. Another troll out to destroy and discredit bitcoin. Or probably another paid schills who's intention is to spread fear among us but I'm sorry to tell you that everyone here can smell you from afar.

Well technically, anything is possible but its highly improbable to see bitcoin going down as low as $19xx. The bottom that we have seen is $5k-$6K so I doubt that we can go lower than that.
10377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or ETH in 2018 on: February 25, 2018, 07:35:23 PM
I think 2018 will be for ETH. BTC is losing ground ...

Lol. How can you say that Bitcoin is losing ground. Maybe the price is not doing good, but same with other coins today. And the market dominance is still way above 30%.

As for ETH, is may have a good year as well, it even touches way above $1K for the first month of 2018, but suffer the same faith as other coins including Bitcoin right now. But I'm sure it will still be the number 2 coins.

So I prefer both as I'm a long term holder.
10378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 2 accounts use in 1 myetherwallet address?is it ok? on: February 25, 2018, 01:22:55 PM
i have a problem.what will happen if may 2 accounts use my 1 MEW address in separate campaign?im a newbie so i dont know what will happen..

Yes. You will be having if you used only 1 MEW address even if you are in a separate campaign. We all know that having multiple accounts is frown in this forum and if someone found connection between two of your account by using just 1 MEW wallet then you will be negged for it.

10379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: February 25, 2018, 11:53:43 AM
Oklahoma City Thunder - 80 v Golden State Warriors 112

OKC didn't managed to get their 3rd straight win against the Warriors. From the start of the game, they didn't find the momentum of their shots. Worst performance are shown by looking at their field goal stats of 29 out of 88 and take note that only 9 had been made from the rainbow area out of 34 shots. Really an off-night performance by them that's why during the start of the last quarter, all OKC starters are put on rest by Donovan.
Finally the warriors took their revenge, and at this time I know the fans are happy as the warriors prevented to be dominated by the Thunder
in the current number of games they played. Haven't watch the game but as the score itself, I can tell it was an easy game for the warriors and I think they are really back.

I was about to say the same thing. It was a revenge for the Warriors because they were beaten the last time. And it will be very exciting if we are going to see them matchup during the playoffs. It seems that there's some bad blood between them.

Carmelo and Durant going at each other and then there was Green and Anthony. Of course Kevin and Russ animosity is still there, so it going to be fun watching them going at each other in the playoffs. Let's see how it goes.
10380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where would Bitcoin be, if everyone stood together? on: February 25, 2018, 11:22:12 AM
Isn't this the exact opposite of what cryptocurrencies stand for? We praise the crypto environment for being decentralized, yet you propose to centralize our efforts to fight the most centralized opponents of all time, i.e. established financial institutions?

Our power comes from the fact that we don't have to act as one. If we continue with what we're doing currently, that should be enough. The disruptive nature of crypto will win out eventually.

Take note, I said this " Support whatever coin you want, but stop fighting each other. " ...which means, you can still support other Alt coins, but just stop all the in-fighting that are dividing the ultimate goal. When people look from the outside, they see a community at War, and who wants to get into the middle of that?

They will simply turn around and walk away. ^grrrrrrr^

Totally agree with you. I think we should stand together but we should be clear who are enemies at this very moment. Its not other cryptos or altcoins but bankers itself.

Remember the so called, Flippening or Rippening? That's us fighting one another. But who win at the long run? No one, ETH, and Ripple suffered during that clash.

So if we are going to stand together, our common enemies are the bankers, who don't want us to enjoy our freedom without them in the middle of everything. Just my .2 BTC
