1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which token you prefer in June-2018 on: June 28, 2018, 06:19:44 AM
I am a new small investor. I want to invest in cryptocurrency. So please help me to choose few best token for my portfolio.

There are lots of promising altcoins in the cryptomarket and no one in here can really tell that those coins will double or triple in price but with the volatility of the market everything can happen. You need to do your own research about the coins that you really prefer. Pick the technology that is realistic and useful to the society.

Here's the altcoins that I highly suggest:

- IOST
- EOS
- STEEM
- XRP

Invest only an amount that you can afford to lose. Goodluck with your investments and have a good one!
Those are some great choices though I would change the list up a bit. I would replace EOS with Ethereum and STEEM with Stellar Lumens primarily since I am expecting ETH and Stellar Lumens to grow considerably over the long term. Ripple and IOST have tons of potential thanks to their communities and development teams which is why I recommend these coins for the long term too.
1042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: On which basis ICO or tokens get ratings on: June 28, 2018, 06:17:45 AM
Wow, I advise you not to use icobench.
Most of the time the site's ratings are not objective enough, and many are paid for.
Very true. On that note, I would suggest not trusting any ICO rating site blindly, but these review sites are good for reference purposes though. Among these websites, Icobench seems to be the best. It is better to research the campaign that you wish to participate in through this forum itself(Campaign manager, development team, whitepaper, number of participants etc) and then decide whether to join or not.
1043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do we really need to hold altcoins on: June 27, 2018, 06:27:40 AM
That depends on you completely op. You need to decide since you are talking about your funds. HODLING and selling quickly are both effective strategies, but selling at the right moment is another important factor which many people ignore. I generally prefer to HODL all my coins and tokens for the long term due to the low stress involved and since I don't like looking at the market everyday. Do your research op.
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] 📒⭐👑 Jinbi Token ~ The Golden ICO - Merging Gold With Blockchain 👑⭐📒 on: June 27, 2018, 06:16:09 AM
Noticed that the rates for each post have been reduced recently. Will the posts from previous weeks be analyzed according to old rates or the new rates? I am a bit confused about these rate changes at the moment. Waiting patiently for your reply Sylon.
1045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to store ICO tokens? on: June 26, 2018, 06:58:58 AM
So where can I store ICO tokens that are built on Ethereum ERC20 Tokens

I know of Myetherwallet but its confusing to me.

I know you can send the ErC20 tokens to any Ether wallet, but where would i see the breakdown of how many I have in a wallet?

Ledger Nano S, thats what they made for people like you and me!  Wink

The best security of all time and it is almost offline wallet with hardware protection. It is also anti-phishing and anti-virus protected so there no chances it can get hacked whenever you connect it to the PC you are using.

I already have bought one at the year start and im enjoying the storage of it greatly. Its useful because you can create nice portfolio in it with password protection (PIN 4 digits) and dont make unwanted sells when crypto drops. (My observation).
This is a great option and I do agree with you here. Hardware wallets like the Nano S are great options to store your coins and tokens in a secure manner. I own a Nano S myself and store some of my coins and tokens(high value) and never faced a single problem which is highly recommend them. Online wallets like MyEtherWallet are also highly recommended although they are prone to hackers which is why it is better to not store big amounts in these wallets.
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best coin to buy a cup of Coffee? on: June 26, 2018, 06:55:04 AM
So what's the best coin to buy a cup of Coffee with? Transaction cost must not be expensive and the transaction must complete before the Coffee gets cold...  Cool

I am thinking about the IOS token. Its faster than many coins and already have transaction number per second enough to survive the heavy load over the network which they already have scaled up for.

It takes only 30 confirmations for transaction getting confirmed over the network so I am sure its worth paying for the coffee cup! Also 30 might look like bigger one but the confirmation can happen in very short period of time as I stated above.
The problem here is whether the shop provides IOS as a payment option in this case. I doubt it since this is not a popular token. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero, Ripple, NEO etc are way more popular coins in this aspect and I am confident that most of these coins would be available as payment options in this scenario. I would honestly use Ethereum to pay for a cup of coffee in this case due to its low transaction fees etc.
1047  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Bitcoin now on: June 26, 2018, 06:50:19 AM
Bitcoin is an asset whose pricing takes place in accordance with its specific, unique laws. The fall and increase in value is almost impossible to predict in advance. It is not known whether the digital currency will continue to grow in price in the future, or it will lose its liquidity. But in addition to all kinds of threats, there are tempting prospects for the development of electronic money.
That is the beauty of this market, isn't it? The cryptocurrency market has always been known for the mystery surrounding its coins and tokens which is something I like about it just like many others. There is no guarantee how the price of a Bitcoin will fluctuate in the future which is why it is very risky investing in this extremely volatile cryptocurrency market. However, I strongly feel that Bitcoin will rise back up through a rally sometime in August and will reach a new high by the end of this year.
1048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign are wastage of time? on: June 25, 2018, 05:58:46 AM
That depends on the end result of the campaign itself. If the campaign ends up being a legit campaign that pays all its participants successfully, that campaign would definitely not be a waste of time. On the other hand, if the campaign turns out to be a scam and does not pay anything to its participants, it is obviously a waste of time. This is why research and luck play a crucial role when selecting which campaigns to participate in.
1049  Economy / Speculation / Re: The end of worlcup 2018. BTC will be down to $ 2k. on: June 25, 2018, 05:51:39 AM
Seriously? You really think investors would believe your prediction without any proper reasoning whatsoever? World cup literally has nothing to do with the cryptocurrency market. This is easily one of the silliest reasons I have heard of recently. Come up with a better reason instead of spreading useless FUD here and there. Don't understand the purpose behind spreading this meaningless FUD without thinking through.
1050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties required KYC. on: June 24, 2018, 06:06:07 AM
Do you agree that Bounty needs KYC?

In my opinion only, I will agree with this policy to avoid multiple accounts or the use of other accounts in bounties. If it has this policy it will be fair to investors and to bounty participants. Scams can be reduced to a bounty. Dumpers can also be reduced.

What is your Opinion?
Free comment.

Nearly every ICO your identity are requested for KYC and also more often for AML because of the regulations of the authorities. Some free Airdrops asking the same .

Why do people trust that ICO token sales more as an ico where no KYC / AML is being asked? Of course you still send all your data on someone you do not know.

With that scan of your front and back of your passport or ID card, and a photo of yourself, someone can easily use your identity now on exchanges and ICOs. Especially since the scammers are now moving to new ways, the easiest way is to make purchases with your data.
I completely agree with you here. This whole KYC drama goes against the entire anonymity aspect of this cryptocurrency market which is what attracts investors in the first place primarily. I suggest avoiding KYC based campaigns. I suggest providing KYC details if the particular campaign only wants simple details(email address etc). Do not simply hand over your passport details to unknown organizations on the internet.
1051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin bleeding. When does it stop on: June 23, 2018, 05:51:04 AM
No one knows op. The market might continue to stay bearish for some more time before it begins rallying again which might happen sometime in August in my opinion. If good news comes in from all directions, the market could begin rallying for a long period of time again. At present, it is best to purchase the coins and tokens that you are interested in at low prices and don't look at the charts and markets too much.
1052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of crypto on: June 23, 2018, 05:48:37 AM
What is with all this silly FUD people? Why do people creating such silly threads everytime the market turns bearish? If you feel that the cryptocurrency market is too risky for you, you are free to leave at any particular point of time. No one is forcing you to invest into this market. We are all aware of the risks involved with this volatile cryptocurrency market. I strongly believe that crypto has a strong future ahead of it.
1053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies? on: June 23, 2018, 05:45:53 AM
That depends on which celebrity you are talking about. I do trust some celebrities like Ashton Kutcher etc since they have experience dealing with cryptocurrencies, but I don't trust some celebrities who don't have any cryptocurrency related experience and still act like they know what they are doing which is why I tend to do my research before trusting any particular celebrity. Don't blindly follow celebrity suggestions people.
1054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How much is everyone earning from bounties per month? on: June 22, 2018, 06:21:15 AM
I was wondering, how much is everyone earning from bounties per month, feel free to leave your comments below, this topic was started out of pure curiosity.

I know for a fact that bounty hunters get paid in the altcoin currency they work for, whatever job they do.

Cashing out the altcoins they get is a pain in the a$$ though, mostly because when the ICO ends the altcoin gets listed on shitty exchanges.

How do you cash out altcoins, is it worth it to participate in bounty campaigns anymore?
The earnings in bounties are different and depends on your rank. But basing on my experience I earned a lot like 600$+ in just a month by doing bounties. But that just once and never hit that big again after that. You just need to hope that you participated on a good project that will be worth your effort in the end.
I earned that 600$+ after few weeks I received it when the coin listed on an exchange. Never waited long but exchange it right away and cashed it out. That's good decision I've done because after a day, the price of the coin dropped.
I agree. Rank plays a big role when working in signature campaigns in this forum, but rank does not play a big role when working in social media campaigns(Telegram, Twitter, Facebook etc) where your followers matter more in this aspect. Signature campaigns generally tend to reward more when compared to social media campaigns. Payments do vary widely based on the success of the campaign, but I generally tend to receive $500 on average from every campaign that I worked on.
1055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ether or altcoins? on: June 22, 2018, 06:17:37 AM
Follow the path of creating portfolio's for more gains and security of your investment. In crypto currencies no coin can be trusted during the course of long time and I think it would be far great if you put some % into ETH and others in the different altcoins.
Putting everything in single coin has proven itself a risky one because you are actually putting everything on single boat, including the life boat and when it sinks then it sinks along with the life boat too. Thats why it is advisable to put money different coins rather than just ETHER itself.
I partially agree with you here. I do agree that diversification is much better than going all into a single coin in the short term as well as the long term, but it is possible to earn huge profits by investing all your funds into a single coin which is where I disagree with you. So many people went all in with Bitcoin several years ago and are millionaires now thanks to that amazing decision which is why it is still possible to earn big money this way.
1056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Altcoins dump again? on: June 22, 2018, 06:15:03 AM
What is so surprising about this? The entire cryptocurrency market has been bearish for quite sometime now and it does not look like it will reverse anytime soon which is the reason many altcoins and Bitcoin itself continue to lose their value, but it is good to see Bitcoin regaining its value slowly at present. I have already purchased some coins like Ethereum thanks to its dip and will be HODLING it for the long term.
1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are the disadvantages of altcoin ? on: June 21, 2018, 10:56:20 AM
I feel that the biggest drawback of altcoins is the high possibility of their creators scamming people in clever ways which is not the same with Bitcoin. Popular altcoins like Ethereum, Ripple etc have already established themselves are completely legit, but there are cases of popular altcoins scamming people like Bitconnect etc which is a shame. This is why I always suggest diversifying your funds whenever possible to minimize the chances of getting scammed.
1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: At least 1 in every 5 ICOs is a scam! How to avoid the fraud? on: June 21, 2018, 06:35:52 AM
Very useful information op. Thanks for sharing it. There is nothing surprising about these results though since this has been a common trend in the cryptocurrency market always and I doubt it will change anytime soon. This is the primary reason why I always recommend analyzing the whitepaper related to any particular ICO before checking out other factors. It is also a good idea to work on multiple campaigns to increase the chances of profiting even if some of them turn out to be scams.
1059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty spreadsheets (Help for Bounty Hunters) on: June 21, 2018, 06:31:28 AM
Observing more and more people sharing their spreadsheets these days which is seriously awesome and I appreciate these gestures a lot. I personally maintain my own spreadsheet which is quite simple and well organized in structure detailing the various campaigns that I work with and their respective conditions and deadlines. Spreadsheets help in a big way when working with multiple campaigns simultaneously.
1060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Akoin?? Really on: June 21, 2018, 06:28:54 AM
Lol. This is hilarious. Akoin? This seems like a joke in my opinion. I like his songs, but building a place like Wakanda is something which we can only dream of at the moment. The current technology is not powerful enough to help build a city like Wakanda. The coin itself will obviously be a shitcoin if it actually gets launched at some point in the future. Don't expect much from such a coin op.
