1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats your opinion ? on: February 24, 2022, 06:28:50 PM
an links ATH was like 42euro per link...
what would you do if you were in my place?

every though is welcome!!! i just wonder what is the wiser choise of these 3 coins ada link and btc

I want to let you know that Links https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/links is a different coin from Link https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/chainlink which you are referring to. That is Chainlink (Link).
My advise to you is to continue to hold it because Link is a nice altcoin. You can buy bitcoin too and hold as it has dropped price. But leave ADA alone.

Take your money and run while you still can. You can ride it out too if you don't need the money. This project is not something I would hold though. It is an absolute shitcoin. Tbh, almost every alt is a shitcoin. Consider this a good lesson which you bought for 1400€ and next time wager smaller amounts.

He is already in big loss and you are advising him to sell his coins and run? He is going to lose more if he sells and when the market recovers he will be the big loser.
1042  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your expectation on: February 24, 2022, 11:59:21 AM
Regulation is always the best answer for us to expect adoption , because the government cannot have any power towards crypto transacting so being regulated is their main act to gather at least benefits from crypto.

If that is the problem preventing adoption of bitcoin the governments should come to the open and let the entire world know they want to regulate it and not the condemnation of it. It is clear there is no way government will allow the use of bitcoin without sorting out how it is going to benefit monetarily from it. Without regulations, the government will loose out and I do not see this being allowed.
1043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be prepared on: February 24, 2022, 11:38:00 AM
, don't say I don't warn you be prepared.

Your warning is coming late. It sounds like general warning which online smart kids do with crypto trading. You ought to have issued it weeks ago to get buyers prepared for it. Alot of buyers are caught up with the bear market and no thanks to you if you are looking to take credit for the bear we have now. Okay, can we also count on you to tell us at what price level we have to expect the market to hit bottom and start going up back?

How many of their members self deh enter class teach weh no be when them like? To intimidate students with handouts and missing scripts nah their calling. Education tire me for Nigeria. If you put head for private universities, those ones go use knife cut your head in the name of school fees.
1045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: World Cup qualifiers.. on: February 24, 2022, 10:01:02 AM
**

Football is a game of chance like every other sport and you also need to remember that it is not every time that the team with the most ball possession wins. Sometimes the team that outplays the other gets to lose. We have seen that alot of time happen. Luck has a big part to play in soccer. We shall see how this battle for supremacy between Senegal and Egypt will end by the time both countries play each other for the world cup qualifiers. Let us leave the argument for now.
1046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: FURY vs WHYTE - CONFIRMED on: February 23, 2022, 04:50:58 PM
Maybe Fury's camp would be kind enough to give another 5%. Aside from that, having a 20% is a big deal and it is the biggest payout Whyte have got in his career.

Fury's team will be idiots to consider extra 5% for Whyte. What do you think will make them consider such charity when boxing is not a charity? That will be a wrong move to make after the deal has already been sealed. Even with 20% it is still Whyte's biggest pay for a bout. It is from that angle that Fury thinks he is doing Whyte a favour.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: World Cup qualifiers.. on: February 23, 2022, 06:39:20 AM
Naturally anyone who does not like cheating will want Egypt to take a revenge on Senegal for denying them the trophy. All that is sentiment though.

I don't understand, are you trying to say Senegal stole the trophy from Egypt, did you even watch the tournament or watch the finals. All through Senegal were the better team.

No, I did not mean cheating in the real sense. I meant cheating like when someone would like equality. Since Senegal defeated Egypt in the last meeting that it will be a natural thing for Egypt to pull one back on Senegal. That was what I mean. It is the same way that the Ghanaians will be expected to retaliate on Nigerians. All that is expectations and does not mean it will happen.

When the world cup qualifiers will be played, senagal is likely going to out play the Egyptian as well. On and off paper, they have better team structure than the Egyptians.

I advise you do not bet heavily on that. Football is not always predictive. Like they say that it is like biscuits that can break any way. If Egypt was an easy team to beat the Senegalese would have defeated them within 90 minutes at the AFCON.
1048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: FURY vs WHYTE - CONFIRMED on: February 23, 2022, 06:21:29 AM
I still think the fight will go ahead because Whyte needs this far more than Fury needs it.

Finally, Dillian Whyte signed that contract yesterday and the bout will hold in two months time on April 23. The boxing world is agog with excitement. Fury who had talked tough before now said he was going into intense preparation for the match and will stay off social media to avoid distraction. He sounded like someone who now thinks Whyte will not be an easy match. I still believe the match will be won by Fury. And I want it to stay that way. I believe the match will be the highest pay Whyte will be having in his career at $8 million.

1050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to reinvest into Altcoins? on: February 23, 2022, 04:34:00 AM
If previously someone said they would invest when the price fell, then now it has happened, the market has dropped more than 50% compared to the latest ATH, which was last November, I'm sure in 2022 there will be new ATH again so that by reinvesting in altcoins we will profit big.

The market is still falling and you can not know when it will hit bottom. Some bought days ago with hope that was the bottom but got into the bull trap. The market has proven that it can not be caged to behave the way we want. It behaves how it likes and not how buyers want. Buyers should have learnt a lesson of only investing what they can loose by now. Do not trust the market

1052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: FURY vs WHYTE - CONFIRMED on: February 20, 2022, 02:25:04 PM
This is just a commemorative belt to celebrate British boxers

Maybe it also includes countries of boxers that have won the WBC because I can see the Nigeria flag there and that will be because Samuel Peter the Nigeria nightmare once won the WBC title when he defeated Oleg Maskaev in 2008. Peter does not have British citizenship.

I think having names on the belt might not be appropriate now because previous champions never held the belt with their name on it.

Even that apart, it will be a bad idea because it will mean every time there is a new champion, a new belt will be produced and the one without the champion's name condemned. It will be costing extra money and energy to the boxing federation.

1054  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is confusing on: February 20, 2022, 06:30:56 AM
You are right. I have a friend who literally invested into some shitcoin IDO just recently, his own words were "I will sell as soon as it goes up", and that's it, that's all he cared about when getting into it, he didn't care about the project, he didn't care about what they were trying to do. All he cared about was being first, get whitelisted, buy as much as he could afford, see it hopefully do 10x on early periods, then get out as soon as possible.

That believe and thought you have mentioned is what has made many scam shitcoins prosper. Those who are investing in them also have the mindset of quick rich and they eventually end up getting scammed by the team. The investors know it is a shitcoin they are investing on but still go ahead to do it with hope they be the first ones to cash out from the ponzi investment. So both the investors and the teams scamming them are the same greedy people.

Over 100000 downloads on playstore, truthfully speaking, no be failed project.
That no suppose be the parameter to judge the success rate. You forget say only government offices fit download all that number self. Even as you weh download and delete, will it erase the fact that you have downloaded it. Am not sure that the counter does that, or does it? Nigeria government can fake things.
1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why are there so many coins and the reason why some developers failed on: February 19, 2022, 07:08:14 PM
99% of coins are dishonest cashgrabs, but even if a coin is honest, it doesn't mean it's worth investing into, from a fundamental point of view. If your goal is to make money with trading, you should detach yourself from the crypto philosophy and just view coins as pump and dump schemes.

What is this crypto philosophy that we should detach from? Am interested to know it. The 99% figure you put as the number of scam projects is an exaggeration of what is really the case. Though I know scam projects are increasing everyday but it is not that bad up to the percentage you mentioned. I see many new genuine projects get listed everyday too and by estimate I know they are more than the 1% you said.

Many new projects spring up every day and that is because there is a discovery of features that the older ones do not have that the new ones can provide or that they have a totally different line of technologies they bring in. If we do not have new discoveries, the crypto industry will die off as there will not be new innovations to draw more attention to it. Creating more coins is not bad a thing to do.
1058  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Weekend Trading, how do you feel about it? on: February 19, 2022, 05:44:12 PM
According to my experience on every weekend market looks in consolidation zone and a little or big dump happen on weekends mostly so we need to be careful on weekends or try to close trades

This will be an assumption you have. Are there facts to prove this? I have not seen big dumps happening on weekends repeatedly. It can happen in a while just like it also happens on Monday to Friday. It is coincidence. I do not trade much these days but I know of traders who trade weekends mostly and they make great gains doing that. Maybe trading at the weekend is the only time and opportunity they have away from work. The important thing is to know when to make trades and not to limit it to week days. Trade any day you want.
1059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Snooker Game on: February 19, 2022, 09:13:02 AM
I thought Billiards is quite different from snooker? is it that in Russia, they prefer to call it billiards? The two are fun and entertaining but I prefer the snooker it's more popular here than Billiards. There is a pool too I guess.

Billard is very different from snooker. The one that shares resemblance with snooker is pool. Infact, most people who play pool mistake it to be snooker. I was one of them. It is of recent that I knew what I played as a kid growing up was pool and not snooker. Check this article and it will also shock you what you know https://quedos.com.au/difference-between-billiards-pool-and-snooker/ . We used to bet while playing it and those around also place bets on the players. Pool is a gamblers game, more than tennis or other games for two. A player can lose the overall game but make much money from betting as he plays on. I like it but the balls are expensive to buy and that makes charges collected to play it at local joints in my country high.
1060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: World Cup qualifiers.. on: February 19, 2022, 07:09:46 AM
From my own perspective I believe Egypt will try all there possible best to win Senegal, I believe Salah will do everything possible so that Senegal won't defeat them because it will be a shame to Egypt to be beaten by a team twice consecutively.

Naturally anyone who does not like cheating will want Egypt to take a revenge on Senegal for denying them the trophy. All that is sentiment though. If Egypt does not get fully prepared for the world cup qualifiers to confront the superior Senegal, Senegal will still shame them again both home and away.

And Nigeria vs Ghana I don't think Ghana should be a problem to Nigeria, we all saw how Nigeria performed in the last African cup of nation even as the lose to Tunisia in the knockout stage but they really performed well in the group stage.

I do not know what to expect with that fixture. Nigeria did not impress me at the AFCON. Yes it defeated Ghana and won all three matches at the group stage but could not make it pass a less favoured Tunisian side with all its shortcomings. And now that the bench is wrongly constituted with Austine Eguavoen heading a better qualified Emmanuel Amunike, I hope there will not be authority tussle during the qualifiers. I know Amunike is coolheaded but anything can still happen to make him disagree with Eguavoen and that will bring division in the camp. For Nigeria-Ghana match, no expectation.
