This is a lie. CryptoNote whitepaper was published on late 2013. So there is no way Bytecoin can be launched 2 years ago. Bytecoin is premined 80% and the dev pretend that it was "fairly" launched 2 years ago. Monero is released to fix BCN problem, a fair launch. Blockchain was probably faked to look 2 years old to boot. |

I am interested in this coin, but I saw thos note on poloniex twitter. Reminder: you CANNOT deposit BCN or MRO directly from another exchange. You must send from your own wallet using your Payment ID. So will I lose coins if I send them directly from exchange to exchange? Any FAQ would be cool, because I am a little afraid of buying this coin. You should do exactly what you are being told to do: send to the wallet, then to the exchange. This software is very new hence experimental. |

So as many of you already know, once Bytecoin was discovered after being hid away for 2 years, people started forking/cloning Bytecoin's code. Monero is the first clone of Bytecoin, then comes Quazarcoin, HoneyPenny, and FantomCoin, and also the many more forks to come... They're all exactly the same, with the same code and features since they were just forked from Bytecoin... It mostly depends on your appetite for risk. However the problem with playing arbitrage is that it works, until it doesn't and then if the coin takes off, you are left on the sidelines with only a fraction of the gains you could have realized. DarkCoin is one of the rare coins that offers true innovation and development and is based around a concept getting scarcer by the minute, privacy. You never know what can happen. Just like I'm sure the the early adopter that traded 10,000 BTC for two pizzas never could have possibly imagined what they would be worth today. The way I look at it, if you make an investment that you believe in, why sell yourself short? I would hate to be like the pizza guy and BTC literally has thousands of early adopters just like him! http://www.wired.com/2011/11/mf_bitcoin/all/1DRK is a BTC fork, it's not true innovation.
