I just wanted to know that,what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit.But i want to know what is the risk involved.Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.
We really can't determine how much risk in bitcoin but I assure you one thing, if you are willing and has the belief with the charts of bitcoin. Then you are not going to talk about the risk instead you are going to compute the possible profit that you may get upon investing there. As long as you did bought bitcoin at lower price, that's good. If you have bought your bitcoins last year then you have already made huge profits but buying now is a risky as price is already high and we are not sure what will be the price of bitcoins in coming months or years and if we invest in it now and price crashes next year then it will be a huge loss for us. Yeah it's quite risky to buy bitcoins now as the price is keep on increasing and I don't have an idea on when it is going to become lower. But if you can afford to buy right now even the price is quite high then you should buy right now. Because the price of bitcoin is on a bullish movement right now and it is for real. Buying bitcoin right now i dont think is risky but you have to split your investment and buy it like if you are planning to buy 4 btc then first go with 0.5 btc right now price and in some more lower go with same amount so if their is any dip in price then you should be in position to buy and average your investment price. because if the ETF approves the BTC inclusion then this price we wont be able to see it again. |

If you got received the payment from some person then if he faithfull he will send you back, apart from that until you dont give some more information no one can help you in this problem. |

Really feel sorry for what ever happened , it is also a lesson for you to not be careless with your important stuffs, i did not had the same problem but once my comp got hacked and i also lost my coins which i saved for my future but that was also a lesson for me to not download any exe files as they are hamfull and now i have also kept my important files in other places so even if i get my comp hacked i am safe.

When i used to start earning bitcoin that time the value was nearly $300 and it was decreasing it and it went down till $160 nearby but as i dont had that much of investment to purchase it so i started to do all types of work for bitcoin which i had can do and started to earn little bit and today i am earning nicely through lot of ways through this forum.

the first one was a whale going crazy and messing with all the shorts of everyone when they bought all the way up and dumped all the way down in one minute!
I agree this is like force selling / buying since the exchange is quite isolated for now. Since people are wanting to exit that exchange, and they are helpless withdrawing their fiat funds out of that exchange and are so willing to convert it to BTC in premium price. and this new $1350 also doesn't count since bitfinex is getting empty of traders as they buy BTC and get out. you have to want to take high risks to sell BTC on finex and keep fiat there.
Well i would rather have my BTC transferred to other exchange where I can sell it and freely move my fiat currency than selling my BTC on Bitfinex and have my money trapped in there. I think what you said is correct the situation is same like some months back in India , the fiat currency demonetization was started so their are so many users who wanted to convert their fiat currency to bitcoin and in indian exchange the price of bitcoin went to $1100 price when in the preev and other international exchanges the price was only $750 to $800 nearby. So here is also some short of problem going on like what you said and so everyone wants their fiat to be converted to btc and get transfered. |
