10461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: July 07, 2016, 03:57:26 PM

I use to play dice a lot and i get to lose every day as well but that doesn't stop me from playing once again the next day after i earn few satoshis again.
This is due to the hope it give me that if i win just one more, i will buy something, betting keeps going until i lose everything and then the next day again. i lose count how much i've lost.
but i stopped playing since the day i get to think of buying myself a dirtbike.

having a plan can really help about gambling problem.
10462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: July 07, 2016, 03:51:57 PM
There are lots of gambling sites that offer to be part of the house.  One day I may join to one if i have the amount required to win big as well.
there are some that only require few satoshis like bitvest.io. I can see they only ask 0.01btc
10463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ONLINE GAMBLING WILL BE BANNED IN THE PHILIPPINES on: July 07, 2016, 03:43:45 PM
The newly elected President Rodrigo Duterte wants to stop the online gambling here in the Philippines. Its because they cannot collect tax from it and they don't want people to become addicted to it. What is your side ?

In think its because they can't collect tax from it. People are greedy and everyone wants a slice of the pie. I believe people should have the freedom to make their own mistakes and not be dictated over like some child.

People should have the freedom to make their own mistakes? wth?

The president is a reasonable man and so he wants the Filipino people not to get into gambling for it ruins life that instead of buying food thru the hard earn money that they toil from their 9-5 day construction job, they lose these money in gambling. imagine what will happen if people lose their money everyday. They'll gonna lose their minds too while they turn to each other like bunch of animals.
10464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE ANN] VST COIN - VIRTUAL STUDIO TECHNOLOGY on: July 07, 2016, 03:35:26 PM

i've already joined to a lot of ICO but would like to join the partey still. how much BTC is VST target?

Sounds cool...Though, there seems a lot of coin related to music industry...I'll be watching this.

Not like this, and this one has something no other music related coin was able to offer. A high chance of success in the real world.
As VST coin rightly points out in their FAQ there is no way 'selling music via download' projects could ever have gotten off the ground due to licensing.
Imagine if you wanted to sell all the worlds biggest acts music on a website. You would have no chance of securing the licensing rights from major record
companies. I pointed this out with one of them which took over 1000 BTC. I wasn't fudding just pointing out the obvious. The team who created it must have known they
wouldn't have been give licenses to millions of commercially available songs. Furthermore most people stream music, they don't buy and download songs.

This coin is about VST plugins which are used by all musos in the world today from beginners to world class producers. It is a huge market and Im amazed it hasn't been done before in Crypto.  If they can get this coin to be accepted by online sellers of VSTs they are really on to something. Im also interested in the plugins they plan to create. Hey dev can you give some details about that? I will also be signing up for the sig campaign. When is that beginning?

So how do we know VST will be given the licensing rights to sell music?

VSTCoin isn't about selling downloadable or streaming music.

VSTCoin is about facilitating the use of the coin in purchasing VST plugins from independent and major plugin developers worldwide which would involve little more than installing a link on their website. For them its as easy as receiving payments via PayPal and exchanging from VSTCoin to fiat will be an automatic process.  VST Plugins we create would be sold at 30% discount when purchased with VSTCoins to encourage adoption. Our market is the people that make the music from hobbyists to world class record producers, engineers and musicians.

I now understand Smiley adoption really is always an issue for any coin.
this coin may find it easy especially that you are giving 30% discount if they use VST to buy. thats a good plan. we may still find it an uphill battle but yeah marketing should help.
I'm in!
10465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Saturday is halving day what is your opinion on: July 07, 2016, 03:19:17 PM
Just sit back relax and enjoy. you don't have to decide whether to dump or buy more bitcoin after halving.
what you can do with the btc at hand as of now is to buy a coin that you are trying to support. this could be a safer way to store the value. if btc drops, some altcoin stays still like WAVES.
10466  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: July 07, 2016, 02:57:34 PM
ITs NOT year of Bitcoin its the year of ICOs. seeing how many ICOs being held in a month and a lot of users fall to it to which they've been FUDDING too because of how it turned out.
There are still new ICOs coming so i guess it may not end until the year ends.
10467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: July 07, 2016, 02:47:59 PM
The high price 36.8k at bittrex
it's a good news for community waves
Good job dev  Cheesy

sadly dump just happened . Grin

Still, very satisfied with the price. I bought with dollars so it is now over 25% profit.

Guys just dump the top, sell to the whales otherwise we cant go up more  Kiss
I actually agree with this one. Great to see such healthy price movement. #RideOn

One should really think twice before dumping and buying back because the price is getting stronger. if i have to do it myself, i may just have to wait til price gets stable at some point.
users still kept buying. you may not profit in the end if you dump while the price is going up.
10468  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum to start on trading on: July 07, 2016, 02:33:52 PM
your trading depend on your invesment. how much investment do you have. how much lost can you bear. if you can afford then the best option you have to invest 100 BTC. it will give you a good amount of profit.

Invest 100 BTC? Are you out of your mind?
And even if he does have that much capital, where would he invest?
If he does have that much, I would rather prefer to start my own gambling site and ask people for more investments too.
but 100 BTC it's too big just for invest on BTC, but nothing just thinking about invest and invest but there is another factor or problem you can need to consider about it, example Does you didn't need to save some amount becomes your urgent funds?

it is however a guarantee that you can win for every trade you make. with 100 btc you should be able to control the market. and that when you dump a coin you can simply drag the trend to the floor and when you buy you should be able to also lift the coin easily. thus making you richer every time you do it.

10470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase banned Germany & Luxembourg on: July 07, 2016, 02:12:59 PM
Germany is putting up some laws against money laundry right these days.
Those include terms regarding buying & selling of crypto money.
I think coinbase does not want to have any legal trouble there and sort things out first if they can fulfill those restrictions.

Its not just coinbase that they can use to buy bitcoin. They can also use exchange site itself. I think BTC2BID is working good this time.

Hey,

I am logged into my account Coinbase to buy Bitcoins.

I get the following message:

Sorry! Buy & Sell not available in Germany

We are not able to Provide exchanging bitcoin in your region yet. Consider Contacting your local government. Learn More>

It seems to be also affected Luxembourg alongside Germany.
The rest of Europe (32) are not affected.

Since Localbitcoin is banned in Germany, seems probably because the German "local government" there which prohibit.

Does anyone have any info, is on what legal basis prohibited here?

Very easy fix: VPN

VPN is not the solution for it. If its a ban from the government the website won't function but its indicated as buying and selling not available for Germany and Luxembourg.

If you are from Germany, VPN can still help indirectly as you as btc buyer can simply set where ever you are and then set up a meeting with a btc seller from localbitcoin.
10471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How cloud mining ponzis nearly ruined my bitcoin business completely on: July 07, 2016, 03:22:22 AM
if you only knew you would never have invested to them.
I first learned to earn bitcoin from the users here in the forum and that i learned well about which businesses is shady enough to avoid. they've been around for years and never lost for investors though thats because at first they pay.
10472  Economy / Services / Re: GUiDE - Earn up to $5 a day for clicks on: July 07, 2016, 03:02:18 AM
I offer a guide to earn the maximum possible amount on 7 years old PTC site but i require registering under my referral link. Contact me via PM, i will send the link, when you register PM me your user ID 42XXXX (can be found in your referral link) then i will send the guide.
Does this require investment? If not can you send me the details? I am curious to know what this guide is. I know it's impossible to earn big on ptc sites but this guide of yours sounds promising.
me too mate if there's no money involved and its not with ref alone kindly give me those details pm if okay with thanks in advance.

I don't think so. legit PTC sites are free to join and don't need investments. like paidverts,  clixsense neobux etc.. but some ptc sites require to upgrade membership to a greater level to earn more money. and most these type of ptc sites are scam who require money.
so don't invest anything on ptc sites.
ptc site earn money from advertisements and share revenue to its users who view the ads.
so Investment in PTC sites mean totally scam.

i did tried it ptc sites years ago but never had i got to withdraw my earnings really. this is because its too hard to acquire even just 2$ from them.
its no different up to now. you would rather try faucets than ptc sites.

I can't believe it only got few BTC during the ICO. the project could have gathered more if it were marketed well.
where in the roadmap that the wallet can be used for gambling or like it can be used directly to bet on games?

10475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: July 07, 2016, 12:54:14 AM
WAVES is no. 1 for volume again on Bittrex.  Poloniex still not adding.  Very strange.

On a side note but related to their strange behaviour.  NAV was recently upgraded to V2.0 blockchain.  Polo ignored requests for upgrade from the Devs.  Once most users had upgraded to the new blockchain (about 6 weeks ago) - NAV V1.0 started getting pumped on Polo (at one point it was over x10 price and x 10 volume compared to the official NAV 2.0).  They are still ignoring the NAV dev teams requests to upgrade.  Again very strange behaviour.

I hope WAVES doesn't take too long to launch the decentralised exchange because I'm really starting to lose faith in the competence of Poloniex.

I have noticed this kind of odd and inconsistent behaviour before.

It seems once altcoin exchanges reach a certain level of success it goes to their heads (Mintpal, Cryptsy etc.) and they gradually slip into financial mismanagement, unsafe practices, outright scamming, or all of the aforementioned - this strange behaviour certainly doesn't bode well for them.

I hope it is just a blip and we end up learning that there was a reasonable explanation for it - I will certainly be keeping a more cautious eye on them though.

I got the hunch polo would go gox later and that they'd declare they've been hacked actually. but don't quote me on this. its just a hunch.
I still hope the rest of the exchange will add WAVES.
10476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: July 06, 2016, 05:20:24 PM
Dolores won't be effective this time as the price is the pure evidence that it bounce back.
If you can afford to buy back still with the loss of less than 200 waves, you may still be luck to buy back before the price went further that you will lose more if you do.
10477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RISE dump, RICE tastes good on: July 06, 2016, 04:48:10 PM
RISE they say has a lot of things to offer compare to Lisk which they seem to put on their ANN thread. The team did very well and I guess its now bouncing back.
I even wanted to buy more if only i have a lot of btc at hand.
10478  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: looking for free online bitcoin wallet with permanent address on: July 06, 2016, 04:11:09 PM
All bitcoin addresses are permanent...

You can use Blockchain.info wallet the way you need, you may have only 1 address and only that address...

been using blockhain wallet for awhile and yes it does exactly what OP wants. the problem using blcokchain wallet however  is that you will be using it manually every time making a transaction. unlike having a hard drive wallet like multibit that you can just click and the wallet will run automatically.
