In Hindsight it was a very very basic plan and we were off guard. Most of the Attackers were Saudis. Why does everyone think it's a conspiracy?  If we drop a nuke on Saudia Arabia the score will be even.
"Everyone" does not think it was a conspiracy.

But some people are quite convinced, yes.

No, a nuke on Saudi is not an answer.

an illegal mexican should totally break into the country, pop out their baby, and have the baby get full rights.
Yes, this is unfair, we agree on that.  It should have been stopped long ago.  Note this does not even have to be an "illegal mexican," it can be a Mexican with a passport and two weeks off from work in Monterrey.

MELTDOWN DAY 2: RICK WILSON ASKS ANN COULTER IF DONALD TRUMP ‘PAYS MORE FOR ANAL’

Tuesday afternoon, Rick Wilson, a top Republican consultant who sometimes appears on CNN as an analyst, sent a tweet to conservative author and columnist Ann Coulter asking if Donald Trump pays her extra for anal sex. “Does Trump pay you more for anal?” Wilson tweeted.

Apparently Wilson was responding to Coulter tweeting out a Breitbart News article from Monday detailing his bizarre decision to politicize a rape threat Wilson claims was made against his daughter.

Breitbart News reached out to Coulter about the “anal” tweet. She replied that Wilson’s “only remaining move is to use the Anthony Weiner ‘MY TWITTER ACCOUNT HAS BEEN HACKED!’ defense.”

This is just the latest from Wilson, who is also a writer for Politico, Ricochet, and The Federalist.

Friday on CNN, Wilson attacked 25% of the Republican base as “low information voters.” Just two days later he publicly politicized the rape threat against his daughter. Twenty-four hours after that he’s publicly accusing Coulter of being a prostitute.

On the trail of New York's lost Teardrop: John Craven tracks down a forgotten monument to the 9/11 victims
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/article-2235284/New-Yorks-Teardrop-John-Craven-tracks-forgotten-monument-9-11-victims.html

Quote
About 50 million people visit New York every year and more than eight million live there but no one seems to have heard of The Teardrop...which is odd because it is a 100ft tall, 175-ton memorial to those who died on the city's blackest day.

Learning of its existence by chance, I tried to discover more from locals at Ground Zero, where the Twin Towers of the World Trade Centre stood until September 11, 2001, and was met with blank expressions.

The one person who did know was an official guide but he said: 'I bet 99 per cent of New Yorkers haven't a clue where it is.'

...

As I stood next to this enigmatic landmark I was struck by the thought that when passengers sail into Manhattan the first monument they now pass is not the Statue of Liberty but The Teardrop. And none of them will know what it is for.
Getting there

America As You Like It (020 8742 8299, americaasyoulikeit.com) offers a range of short breaks to New York. Four nights at the Soho Grand costs from £798pp including return flights with British Airways.

What's interesting, is that the Statue of Liberty is too a gift by a people to the American people - that time it was the French people gifting and commemorating.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY APPALLING & AMERICANS, YOU NEED TO TAKE NOTE!

Quote
Russia, President Putin, and her people constructed this beautiful 100 ft. teardrop monument in memory of those killed on 9/11… shipped it to America in huge segments … the artist came too to oversee its compilation and erection … the Russian people paid for it out of private funds.

“The Zionist controlled US media gives the beautiful memorial, dedicated by Putin, a total silent treatment. The monument is barely known, even among local residents of Bayonne [where it is located]! … The base of the monument is surrounded by a marble wall with the names of the 3000 victims engraved in alphabetical order.” iT WAS GIFT FROM RUSSIA ON THE 5TH ANNIVERSARY OF 9/11, THUS 2006, & AMERICANS STILL DON’T KNOW IT EXISTS!!!!!!

10586  Other / Politics & Society / Re: George Zimmerman Teams-Up With "Muslim-Free" Gunshop on: August 18, 2015, 11:56:26 PM
Exactly - none of this is a surprise based on his previous actions.

It's interesting that Jeb Bush (Florida Governor, and Zimmerman lives in Florida) recently mentioned that the stand your ground law, which Zimmerman used for his defense, was NEVER intended to be used to justify Neighborhood Watch or militia type activities. It was only meant to justify a person's actions in their home, if they were being attacked in their home and responded with lethal force.

How the court perverted that specific and critical detail is astonishing.
stand your ground wasn't used by the zimmerman defence. he was acquitted because the court decided trayvon attacked him and had him pinned to the ground. no duty to retreat under those circumstances.

No ABILITY to retreat...

I am amused of numbers of muslim people in this 'rogue sect' you mentioned this is not sect anymore it is nation. It seems that for me that muslims are either part of this or are silently supporting ISIS.
There is no way that terrorist organisation of this caliber without help from people would be that huge and dangerous. Muslims want ISIS to success and then it will be one sharia law for everyone.

If muslims, some fair part of them, support the evil which is known as ISIS, they share totally in it's evil.

You think there's any foreigners in office in Mexico? Even legal nonmexicans in mexico are not allowed by mexican law to protest peacefully on the street. Foreigners in mexico are not even allowed to build refuges. Recently a mexican official said that their obligations are with the mexican people not foreigners therefore illegal inmigrant refuges for illegals in mexico would not be allowed.

This should apply here in the U.S. Also.  I don't think i can go to any country in the world and run for Office as a Foreigner.

As far as the Families go i do feel bad and i believe any Mexican child born in the U.S. should have FULL rights as i do. But if your an illegal you need to follow the Process to become a Citizen it's that simple.  Mexico would throw my ass on the first northbound broken ole ass Donkey if i had no papers or i might end up in a Mexican prison with a Burrito in my ass.

Look, let me explain just a bit of all this.

Mexico and it's culture operate on a very different set of rules - often, ignore the law, pay the bribes, get by okay.  Mexicans come here and do many useful things and learn our culture, but increasingly the effort is to bring the sickness of their culture here.   So they don't worry our care about "breaking the law."

Those are big generalizations, sure.  But where we have a big problem is Obama's completely ignoring the safety of the US and indiscriminately letting "them all in," and ignoring the laws on the books completely.  Let's not "blame the Mexicans" when we need to blame Mr. Barrack.  Creating a bunch of division and animosity is the game he plays.

All Trump is and has been saying is let's follow the laws we have, as I understand it. Congress can change them anytime.  But we've got a problem from a President ran amok and thinking he can do anything he wants, regardless of good and bad consequences.  It does appear this is strictly to increase the likely-Democratic voter count.

This division, hostility, animosity Barrack Obama wants, and Trump called him on it.
10589  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump Wants Undocumented Immigrants Out, Says Even Families 'Have To Go' on: August 18, 2015, 09:22:56 PM
I support Trump. If the illegals are allowed to stay, then what is the point in having all those legislation and laws? A highly skilled legal immigrant (who will be paying tens of thousands of USD every year in taxes) have to go through a frustrating legal process, and in most cases have to wait for years to get a chance to legally immigrate to the US. At the same time, an illiterate Mexican can just cross the border, earn money by taking part in drug smuggling, pay not a penny in taxes to the US authorities, and can produce a dozen anchor babies in the American soil without any issues.

The question really is of permitting or not permitting "special pleading" for Mexico and areas south.

Its ridiculous to include any other countries in the debate. All other countries have very small population. Only mexico is doing an invasion and only mexico has treasonous "Aztlan" organizations because only mexico is the aztec country.
Not really true, latest is Central and South American immigrants coming up through Mexico.  They blackmail us by controlling (or not) their southern border, hence creating their "special status."

Also I'm seeing a huge increase in North African immigration, plus Chinese mainland.

Oh yea that is bullshit. Until the population of any other single group near even 50% of the population of the mexicans then mexicans are the largest group of invaders. Mexicans make up 35% of the population in the southwest while any other group is in the single digits.....
Basically we agree, but the other immigrant groups are also problematic.  Depends a bit on where you are, likely.

Around here you'd have to distinguish between native American Hispanic, naturalized American Hispanic, legal Mexican, and illegal Mexican to make a coherent argument.

that is a good way to protect your computer but i think this whole thing is blown out of proportion if you are that unsure of your computers safety why go full rogue and use the tor browser but i have had people say even that may not be safe

I firmly disagree, their are browsers out there who will not share your data at any cost and search engines like duckduckgo who will never record your data, that's their SP. people who rant about their private information exploitation should use such softwares and apps, than just blame google and the other lads. Its business, boys.

So if I am using Google Chrome and I use duckduckgo as a search engine, will Google still be able to track my searches?

I'm usually signed into Chrome, with Gmail and Youtube signed in as well, and assume everything I do is being tracked.

Yes. Beside running a Linux distro on a brand new hard drive, you could do like hillary and manage your own email server at your home. The thing is it will not change a thing if you do stuff the fbi and most people on this planet find disgusting. They will simply come to your home and grab your server, instead of asking google to do it.

Until we move to a true decentralized search engine it will not matter if it is google search or bing, etc.

I rather like the analogy, but still suggest you use the commonly used term "ISIS."

And if the "worst" of the two religions is respectively Westboro and ISIS, I know which this here atheist likes better.

Yeah, I would rank ISIS a million times worse. As uncouth as they are, the W.B.C. congregation is just expressing an opinion peacefully.
I use DAESH for a few reasons. Most of my experience with them has been in the middle east and they are always called DEASH there. But the main reason is that calling them ISIS is showing support for them. In the Islamic state it is forbidden to refer to them as DAESH. The punishment for this is that "your tongue will be cut from your mouth." They hate being called DAESH because it is a play on words in Arabic. It is the acronym for ISIS, but also sound like you are saying the word meaning to trample or crush under foot. Arab culture is weird about feet and this term is considered very disrespectful. As this war plays out over the next 10-20 years I think you will see this term replacing ISIS or IS or ISIL. All of which acknowledge the existence of the Caliphate.  For me they are not a caliphate and are better described as the ones who trample everything.

Yes. And the westboro church is absolute, unequivocal and undeniable proof that Christianity is a violent, bigoted cult and nothing more. Good point OP!

Are you being facetious or serious? I can't tell if your tone is sarcastic or not.
I was being sarcastic. As pointed out above, I was referencing the logical fallacy of making a rule from one example.

Yours is a fair point, I'm actually inclined to believe in it. That is to say, I do believe that people who operate under a particular label don't speak for other groups that are not affiliated with them. It is striking though that we continue to have people this day and age that are savagely murdering in the name of religion. I suppose being from the West, where we have seemingly having advanced beyond the period of holy wars, the Middle East seems particularly anachronistic. I do wonder though how violence and religion continues to mesh. Is it violent people who seek out a religion to justify their violence, or a violent religion that seeks out violent individuals to advance its political agenda?

Interesting explanation on Daesh. I knew that they hated to be referred as it, but didn't know why.

A fundamental characteristic of many religions is "to spread outwards,to grow."  Thus in ancient times they existed in a sort of zero sum game of who gets the most land and how.  There is no way to ignore the fact that Muslim sects have and are generating the most warlike and barbaric behavior overall.

Remember that even in wartime Germany WWII, ten percent of the population may have been in the armed forces.  Of those, no more than ten percent was on the front lines actually fighting.  So one percent of the population - a tiny percentage - was "violent."  Huh  See the logical errors?  Relate this to your own arguments.

www.thereligionofpeace.com

Yes, Muslim sects are generating the most warlike and barbaric behavior now of any religious group (that I am currently aware of). I agree with that. The difference for me is I don't associate the crimes of the violent sects as being crimes of the non-violent ones. Re Germany, I also don't hold civilian Germans as being "violent" during WWII because they were born in Germany. I differentiate inside of a group between those who commit and condone violent actions, and those who don't. If all Germans were guilty of violence by association of the outwardly-defined group, they bombing of civilian centers by the Allies would have been justifiable. I don't consider them to be. The violent Germans were the violent ones, just like the My Lai massacre is attributable to those who committed the atrocity, and not all American soldiers who served in Vietnam. See the association error? Relate it to your own arguments.

So the German factory employing housewives to make artillery shells is not a valid target?

Or the Muslim community center with kindegardens and 1000 rockets in the basement?

Both might be, that's debatable. But that's also not the issue. This issue is the inappropriateness of carpet bombing heavily residential areas and other areas of little military or industrial significance, or the fire bombing Dresden at the end of the war which was so reviled by the Allied public that it caused senior British military commanders to write:

It seems to me that the moment has come when the question of bombing of German cities simply for the sake of increasing the terror, though under other pretexts, should be reviewed. Otherwise we shall come into control of an utterly ruined land… The destruction of Dresden remains a serious query against the conduct of Allied bombing. I am of the opinion that military objectives must henceforward be more strictly studied in our own interests than that of the enemy. The Foreign Secretary has spoken to me on this subject, and I feel the need for more precise concentration upon military objectives such as oil and communications behind the immediate battle-zone, rather than on mere acts of terror and wanton destruction, however impressive.

Especially because of the "wanton destruction" the Allies inflicted in WWII during their campaign of total war, we no longer believe in the concept because we recognize that the actions of the guilty do not condemn the innocent merely by group association, an underpinning of today's civilized society which you're apparently loathe to accept. Your selective employment of the concept of group guilt is evidence of your true motivation.

Oh, I'm not so sure.  You're pretty darn selective.  I notice you have not mentioned the Rape of Nanking, the slaughter by the Russians as they marched West in the last year of WWII, or the massacres by the Germans.

Also, you miss the point of your own quote on carpet bombing.  See my bolded section.  It does not condemn indiscriminate bombing of the enemy cities, but is a statement of preferred military objectives.

Don't look at history through warm friendly fuzzy peacenik glasses of today.

The Democrats have the choice: They can stay with Clinton or move on to another candidate who doesn't have the scandal baggage she would empty on the Oval Office floor. That candidate is less likely to be elected, but also less likely to bring shame on the party and create a historical headache for the nation.

Donald Trump Calls Out Mark Zuckerberg On Immigration

Donald Trump has a new target for his criticism of the nation's immigration policies - Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

Zuckerberg is one of the leading tech executives who has called for a more open immigration policy. Specifically, he wants to make more H-1B visas available to tech employers so they can hire foreign skilled workers.

Trump said he wants to require employers to pay H-1B workers much more money, which he said would discourage companies from hiring them and boost job prospects for Americans. He also wants to have tech jobs offered to unemployed Americans before they can be filled by workers with H-1B visas.

"This will improve the number of black, Hispanic and female workers in Silicon Valley who have been passed over in favor of the H-1B program. Mark Zuckerberg's personal Senator, Marco Rubio, has a bill to triple H-1Bs that would decimate women and minorities," Trump wrote in his immigration plan. Rubio is also seeking the Republican nomination for president.....
What?  Affirmative Action for Americans?  Who would have thunk?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H-1B_visa#Congressional_yearly_numerical_cap_and_exemptions

Congressional yearly numerical cap and exemptions

The current law limits to 65,000 the number of foreign nationals who may be issued a visa or otherwise provided H-1B status each fiscal year (FY). Laws exempt up to 20,000 foreign nationals holding a master's or higher degree from U.S. universities from the cap on H-1B visas. In addition, excluded from the ceiling are all H-1B non-immigrants who work at (but not necessarily for) universities, non-profit research facilities associated with universities, and government research facilities.[5] Universities can employ an unlimited number of foreign workers as cap-exempt. This also means that contractors working at but not directly employed by the institutions may be exempt from the cap as well. Free Trade Agreements carve out 1,400 H-1B1 visas for Chilean nationals and 5,400 H-1B1 visas for Singapore nationals. However, if these reserved visas are not used, then they are made available in the next fiscal year to applicants from other countries. Due to these unlimited exemptions and roll-overs, the number of H-1B visas issued each year is significantly more than the 65,000 cap, with 117,828 having been issued in FY2010, 129,552 in FY2011, and 135,991 in FY2012.[6][7]

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services starts accepting applications on the first business day of April for visas that count against the fiscal year starting in October. For instance, H-1B visa applications that count against the FY 2013 cap could be submitted starting from Monday, 2012 April 2. USCIS accepts H-1B visa applications no more than 6 months in advance of the requested start date.[8] Beneficiaries not subject to the annual cap are those who currently hold cap-subject H-1B status or have held cap-subject H-1B status at some point in the past six years.

You can protect yourself.
I've tuned my browser to block all cookies from google.com and I use startpage.com for my searches.
that is a good way to protect your computer but i think this whole thing is blown out of proportion if you are that unsure of your computers safety why go full rogue and use the tor browser but i have had people say even that may not be safe

Until we move to a true decentralized search engine it will not matter if it is google search or bing, etc.

youtube, google search those:

Your link reminds me of something I was wondering about.

How many still believe the latest "update" you are commanded to install is in fact anything remotely related to a program bug fix update?

The fantastic number and variety of "updates" you are continually told to install suggests otherwise.

How many have any awareness of their machine's upstream data reporting?
